I am beyond flabbergasted that there's this much backlash against the request.
1: It isn't important or even useful in gameplay.
2: Even people without epilepsy hate and can get headaches from it.
3: It can hurt people including the above.
Like idk man, is it that much of an ego booster to fight so hard against a relatively simple, and accessible change? I'm not talking to BVHR here, (although it would be really cool if they gave a #########) I'm talking about y'all macro defenders. This isn't a Killer Vs Survivor issue, this isn't ######### personal, and before the planet becomes a giant burnt Cheeto we should all be able to have fun before then.

Yeah having a motion sickness fix locked behind a perk is stupid and not worth running. And I still don’t understand why it’s still the case in 2021. And it’s not like you’ll ever see anyone say “Omg that shadowborn value nice” , so yeah we could use a slider tbh
I don't mean to necro a thread but, do you know of any tips? I know there's Shadowborn which like you said, is an unfortunate use of a perk slot, and then there's stuff like stretched resolution (but I consider that cheating) so, the options aren't great.

Mother Miranda Plague skin

Horror JRPG stuff like Ellen from the Witch's House, Yume Nikki, Mad Father...
It will never happen but let me dream :(

Hillbilly or Bubba, I don't know why but Chainsaws scare the ######### out of me.

"Trying" apparently.

I think a lot of things come into play when it comes to this issue. I could totally be wrong and uneducated on the manner but, I think the survivor player-base can be bigger and louder when it comes to requests for the devs.
The nerfs given to The Killer are fair to me and overall make the game healthier! Especially the mori changes. However, this also becomes frustrating when the survivor equivalent gets overlooked.
I think the devs consider the player base, funny moments on Twitch, feels of a 'rush,' etc when it comes to making these choices.
Killers do get updates and adjustments but, it never feels like an actual address to the problems for Killer right now.
(I would love to say I play both equally, but lately, I've been playing Survivor more because Killer can be so stressful for me right now.)

All I will say mate is that giving up early isn't going to help you get any better at this game.
It's not early lmao. He said after all the gens are done and they're ready to leave.

Tremors. Underground sound-based killer with Burt at the survivor. It'd be so funny and fun in general.

I doubt that would be a good idea. It humanizes them too much. The killers are super worked to be monstrous, even the most human looking ones have some horrid deformity or injury that sets them well apart. There's a reason we never hear the Alien from Alien speak. A reason Jason doesn't throw one liners. It just doesn't really fit the tone.
I feel like the game embraces the fact that the Killers were/are people though. Given the lore anyway.

They definetely deserve to feel entitled if we were able to grind them in the previous years. No reason to stop with that all.
Yes,but if they don't want to do events anymore then they should just tell us exactly that but no,they are even advertising this atrocity as an "event" which is downright insulting to the playerbase imo
I very much agree that we should be able to earn like last year. But at the same time I myself choose to pay for things to support the game and it's creators. Not paying because I'm privileging them with my money.
Again, criticism is valid for any product but this post is rude when it doesn't need to be at all.

Yep White Knight spotted. What do you think, maybe a fake account of a dev/mod? WOuldnt be suprised
Do you genuinely believe that? I'm just saying it wouldn't hurt to humble ourselves and give the devs appreciation for what they DO. Expecting them to just give us ######### for free isn't how the real world works. They're working from HOME right now and still pushing updates out. I didn't realize the forums were just as bad as Twitter with pitchforks and torches.

Found the white knight
I'm not trying to "white knight" anything. There are plenty of things that could be improved on the game and with the sheer amount of customers there will be requests. But I think the devs do TRY and make people happy even when you or I aren't satisfied.
Heaven forbid we realize the devs are human.

The amount of entitlement here... the smell is high enough to kill a cow.
-
Tremors. Those movies can be so fun and it'd be fun digging underground to yoink survivors.

I stopped watching him too.
He's just has a permanent "meh" attitude, like...guy can't be happy or smile anymore.
I feel bad but I'm with you. I used to watch him a lot, but over time he's changed and when I checked in on his stream yesterday, and he just seemed so sad.
Hoping he's alright but, not worth watching right now in my opinion.

I think the biggest crutch we deal with on both sides is like, instead of changing the base game or reworking the bases we get patched with perks to solve core problems. I don't think it's a healthy philosophy for the game nor does it consider the fun factor of the players in mind.
A game should be fun and of course a PvP game such as this one is going to be frustrating sometimes but, there should be more room for fun times than there currently is.
-
No.
-
It might not be entirely about bad players or good players, I think both sides are getting used to the mannerism's of the other.

Don't think its possible to add him bc scholastic. Wouldn't Karen's, er, parents, complain?
This is true, I didn't consider the other sources for it. While I agree parents/people/players would complain, I wouldn't say that would be enough reason to avoid a collab.
Majorly I'm with you on this and don't expect him to come, I just think it wouldn't be as awful as people think.
-
One man's trash is another man's treasure. While I myself am not a FNAF fan I could respect the addition and would be kind of hyped actually. While the game has opened up to other horror game collabs there isn't a crazy amount of decent ones or iconic ones to add. Again, FNAF being good is subjective but you can't deny it's iconic. Even if it would be kind of silly, I think it'd be nice to embrace the silliness every once in a while.
(We play a game where Laurie Strode can be sucked on by the Demogorgon, where we literally run in circles against killers, and flashlights work the way they do)
I'm just saying, there's not a lot of realism to begin with.

I apologize if I misunderstand your issue. Were you in the ‘searching for match’ lobby, the one you enter after you click ‘play as survivor’ and invite your friends? Or were you in a match lobby, with a 4th random survivor and a killer? If you were in the latter, then clicking 'unready' won't prevent you from entering the game, you have to leave the match lobby and return to the survivor menu lobby.
If you weren't in a match lobby, I have no idea how you got thrown into a game.
I was in a searching for a match lobby. Where you invite your friends.

Really? The last time i said gg after a killer game i was told to drink the brightest thing under the sink.
I'm so sorry man. I'm ashamed to admit it but, one night I snapped and said something similar to another person (That's a whole other, personal, can of worms) and I think it's just easy for people online to let out all those emotions and act on bitter behaviors due to the anonymity of it all. In my years of playing I will say this- The end game chat is for nothing but bullying and banning said bullies.

I don't understand the people who justify being toxic to one side because one side was toxic to them. I just can't understand the mentality you need to have for that to make sense, I was always taught two wrongs don't make a right. As a player, whenever I play one side and the other is attempting to ruin my game, do you know what I do? I continue playing the game like normal and move on, and if I do start to feel frustrated I simply stop playing for the day. Too many feel the need for vengeance, and too many lack empathy.
I wonder if people realize that when they decide to go into the next trial with the intent on making it a miserable experience for the other, simply because they were miserable last trial, if they understand they are facing different players. If someone slights you, it doesn't make sense to take it out on someone completely unrelated. They very well could be upstanding players, ones who just want to have fun, never make an attempt at being toxic, and may even have even shown some empathy for you. Yet it somehow makes sense for some to punish them all because someone else did something to offend them. Reminds me of my time in elementary school, when teachers would punish the whole class because one student misbehaved, where is the logic.
One last thing, I believe a psychologist or someone did a study on this game? They made a post about it which was an interesting read, should give it a read if you can find it.
I'm very interested in this! Will comment again if I find it. Thank you!

I agree that toxic behavior can be caused previous toxic behavior, but I also think your builds can be influenced by previous matches as well. I mention builds because DS and NOED are considered toxic, but the only "toxic" thing about them is when they are abused.
If a killer gets gen rushed a lot (they may no be pressuring gen or maybe survivors are genrushing out of control) they may bring NOED to punish the genrush. Can NOED be abused by killers who just tunnel and refuse to pressure gens? Yes. Does it make NOED toxic? No. I believe NOED is fine as it is. Take time off gens to cleanse or be exposed in the late game.
If a survivor is tunneled a lot they may bring DS to punish the tunnel. Can DS be abused by survivors who are not being tunneled? Yes. Is DS toxic? Debatable. The only time where DS has no counterplay is in the endgame, where survivors with DS can crawl out with nothing the killer can do except maybe hook the survivor far from the exit gate.
Yes I can agree with this. Everyone is different of course and some more patient than others but, I'll admit I've done this with NOED and DS in the past. Heck, this week even. It's hard to recommend this game to less-patience folk sometimes. Thanks for adding this by the way!
