Nope. They would lose most of the playerbase doing a graphic overhaul like this.
-
Isn't Lullaby counter productive on Freddy? Survivors missing skill checks will be awake all the time.
-
Since SBMM solo queue is a breeze. My win rate (3/4 escapes) went from ~40% to 70%.

What, do you have a little piece of tape on your monitor at the 70% marker? Because there's no express way to see 70% otherwise.
You can easily have an idea of what 70% is lmao.
-
I can't express this enough. Tinkerer is a perk that is completely on control of survivors, you literally decide what time it activates. Do a gen until 70%, walk for 10 seconds and wait until the killer searches the area and leaves. If he continues doing that he'll lose all other gens.
The problem is that survivors KNOW the killer has Tinkerer, but still glue to gens like bots, so then you deserve to get screwed over.

But then we can also look at Ormond and how it got marginally better
It still has one of the worst gen spreads in the game, and they got rid of a lot of LOS blockers so you can see the killer basically all the time on it. It was barely an improvement.
Also that's one map out of, idk, 20 that either stayed the same or got worse after the rework.
-
I think after 1000 hours there's not much you can improve.
-
You guys should stop being hopeful that these map reworks are going to do something in regards to balance. Just look at Badham, Cowshed, The Game and Storehouse.
-
Surprised no one said Wraith. Probably the easiest killer in the game to play and he gives you a whoopsie 550 Deviousness for every attack after uncloaking.
-
Might as well make survivors invincible and remove weapon from killers.
Geez, you are playing a game of "survive or die". Sometimes you die, just deal with it.
-
You already have Cringe Harder.
-
You have to be incredibly delusional to think this game is killer sided. Explain how this game works to anyone who doesn't play it and they will probably tell you it's survivor sided by nature. The Math favors gen efficiency. What makes killers kill are weak links and lack of coordination, which can easily be dealt with a Discord chat.
-
It honestly feels like we're back to the rank system. Sometimes you get speed running DBD wannabe squad, other times you get potatoes who self-care while infected by Plague. It's annoyingly inconsistent.
-
Gen spread, gen efficiency, tile safety.
-
If your team gets all slugged at all gens it means you are full potatoes. Don't really want to waste my time with matches like this, better to get it over and try to find an actual challenging team.
-
Absolutely nothing.
-
I use it all the time on Nurse. So good at countering Cringe Hard.
-
I always found circling between a pallet super boring. That's actually why I basically never play M1 killers and I hate playing against them.
Those type of loops where the survivor and killer are just circling around some junk are not only unfun, but it looks goofy as hell. I honestly don't know why people like it.
I like chases on both sides where the power of the killer usually forces something different than just circling around something and having to do silly moonwalks. That's why I like Huntress, Nurse, Slinger, Blight, Pyramid, Plague, etc.
-
Plague is a top 5 killer now. Probably the top of A tier now that boons hard counter Hag, Oni and Twins.
-
Oni smash people into the ground.
Deathslinger and Huntress getting long ranged snipes.
Downing people through LOS as Nurse.
-
Do you have any sort of video?
-
Nurse, Huntress, Blight, Plague.
-
To make Nemesis really solid you just have to remove the speed boost on infection (or drastically reduce it), make zombies respawn if they get stuck for 10 seconds and improve his addons (most of them only affect the RNG part of his power, which are zombies and vaccines, more addons should affect the Tentacle).
I understand your idea of improving the zombies but instead of scary they are just going to be even more annoying. Nemesis is already really not that fun to go against because of when you get "outplayed" by a zombie.
-
The flashlight clicking sound is super annoying to me. If I'm in a match and there's one or two that just keep the entire match doing that, I'll just AFK in a corner. I get to have a 10 minute break, while they are punished with a boring match (they can't even farm points because I turn the character to a wall) for trying to be annoying. Win-win.

According to my trusted source it is. New rules dropped this month concerning how they can talk about game balance, cheats/hacks, and leaks. Essentially they can't be too hard on the devs or get too negative. Which is understandable as FWs are meant to be ads for the game. But you'd at least expect the devs to do something about the topics they don't want the FWs to rant about.
If they don't want people to be talking negatively about these things they should maybe START ACTING. Welp, guess this is a goodbye for these forums.

Fun fact: The man who was responbile for finding that exploit and using it to harass streamers, especially Tru3talent, is still playing the game to this day and according to a trusted source may be the one who started to make the DDoS exploit wide-known. Which itself is months old but was just not known to anyone.
BHVR legit does not give a crap currently about solving this problem. I'm not even sure if they consider it a problem. Their only responses to the cheater problem has been the following:
- A generic worded statement to Eurogamer which they have done little to repost on their main social media platforms or in the in-game news section.
- New rules for Fog Whisperer's that say they can't complain too much about cheaters. Lest they make BHVR look bad.
Is that rule for Fog Whisperers really true? Because if it is, I'll honestly never spend a single buck on DBD anymore.

So many people told me to play Plague since the buff, I think I will give her a second try. I love and her new butterfly skin 🦋💜
Pyramid is just slow, everybody say he is better than Nemesis. I dont agree. But maybe Im just bad with Pyramid who knows 🤷♂️
I love the new butterfly skin as well. I've been using it with her skin from the past Rift, it looks cute as hell.
Pyramid's attack is harder to hit because of the slow wind-up, but it has more range and zoning potential. His secondary power also nullifies most of the survivor meta perks.
-
Plague is a ######### blast to play right now after her buffs. If you're just like me and hate all meta perks like Iron Will and Boons, give her a try. She's an unit now. I've been playing her everyday, sometimes 5-10 matches non stop and I still can't get enough of her.
Pyramid Head is by far better than Nemesis. Unlike the second one his M2 damages instantly, and his secondary power (cages) is way more useful.

Because the devs don't even understand the mechanics of their own killers. Just an example

Pyramid Head has a PURPLE addon that applies Blindness on survivors when they go through his trails.
Huntress has a BROWN addon that applies Blindness on survivors when they are hit by a hatchet.

For the people who are having a horrible time playing killer right now: does it simply mean that you don't enjoy playing at a (presumably) high MMR? The new system is simple enough that you can easily lower your MMR (yes, it will take time if you have a very high MMR, but still...), so why do you want to keep playing at a high MMR? It seems like self-torture for no reason. I guarantee you could get your MMR down to a point where you have much more fun matches, while still keeping it interesting.
The problem is that some of us are stuck on a MMR limbo. If I get demolished by a 4 man in a game, the very next one the MMR seems to put me in a lobby of completely solo queue babies. Sure, my average at the end might be a 2k or even more, but the matches for sure aren't "fair". My build also is fair from being a "high MMR" build, as I mostly only use Corrupt Intervention or Deadlock as slowdowns, and I run Shadowborn/BBQ on almost every killer. But for some reason I keep getting matched with survivors who bring the sweatiest meta builds and strong items. Mind you the system has been on for more than 2 months at this point, I should be already on a MMR where I have fair matches.
Sure, I could lower my MMR by letting survivors escape, but if you need to smurf to get enjoyable matches then the system is already a failure and should be disabled.

Most DC's are because of cheaters, poor performance, and bugs.
Doubtful, since most DCs from my experience happen after a survivor gets downed or a killer loses gens.
-
The movement speed in the Throw state are one of the best Trickster addons. Trickster moves at 96,5%, if you add both the yellow and brown addons he goes up to 100%. Considering the survivor has to wiggle to dodge knives, you actually close distance while throwing with these addons.
The brown might not make a huge difference, but it's a brown addon. Using your comparison, there's a brown addon for toolboxes that lets survivors repair gens without skill checks.
-
Hag. Snooze fest gameplay incoming.
-
I wouldn't say broken beyond repair, but the devs really need to do something to make games last a bit longer. It's just dumb when you seem to wait more time on the lobby than actually playing the game. Just yesterday I faced this very good Pyramid Head that almost never missed a POTD shot and downed everyone stupidly fast, but because he wasn't running any other gen regression other than Ruin (that got cleansed in less than a minute) we still finished the gens in like 6 minutes with him getting 5 hooks with 1 kill.
Add a secondary mandatory objective for survivors (no, Boons are not an objective) and get rid of camping/tunneling. Games shouldn't be ending in less than 10 minutes unless someone is AFK, that's just unhealthy design. Survivors shouldn't be able to finish 3 gens in 2 minutes, just like killers shouldn't be able to simply delete someone from the game in this time frame.
-
I like playing high skill/high reward killers like Nurse, Huntress, Plague, Blight, etc.
High skill/low reward killers like Billy and Clown are frustrating to play for me.
Low skill/high reward like old Spirit feel cheap.
Low skill/low reward like Legion and Pig are boring to play, because most of the time you win, it feels like survivors just played badly instead of you actually doing good.
-
Band aid fixes. Instead of fixing totally safe loops and gen efficiency, BHVR prefers to keep releasing killers that ignore these safe loops and down survivors in 10 seconds.
-
This game has 2010ish graphics and you still need at least a mid-high end PC to run it well, imagine what a disaster 4k would be.
-
I just find it funny how in the patch right after they nerfed Slinger for "lose-lose" situations for survivors they release a killer that can literally block loops and unlike Trapper and Hag still moves while doing it.
She is hella fun to play as though.
-
This game is running fast to being the next TF2.
-
Assuming there are 5 tiers (S, A, B, C, D), I think survivors should be balanced around high C to low A tier killers.
The D/low C killers are super underwhelming to play and rely on survivors being super average to get kills, while high A/S killers usually have something very oppressive on their kits that make especially the average casual survivor miserable. The killers in the middle of the pack usually feel fair to face and to play.
Balance survivors around high C to low A, then buff/nerf the outlier killers. Right now, especially with MMR and things like Boons, survivor seems balanced around S tier unfortunately.
-
That's literally the standard Huntress build, don't know why just now you're complaining about it.
You don't really need to hide from BBQ. Just hide behind some cover to not get sniped and you're good. She moves at 110% so if she chases after every BBQ aura she's going to waste tons of time.
-
I like both. Trickster fills the psychopath serial killer that hides his true identity behind a popular one, while Artist reminds me of some Bloodborne monster.
-
It shouldn't work while the survivor is running.
-
I've played against someone here on the forums when I was a Nurse on The Game. Unfortunately I forgot the username!
-
Remember when Undying got nerfed because survivors doing 4 totems was too much? Boons should receive the same treatment.
-
He's not fun to play with that bugged POV, stupid roar and overheat. Also Blight exists. Sorry.
-
She can potentially down everyone in a team without even moving from where she spawns, but you'd have to own literal wall hacks to do it. So yes, her potential is higher than Nurse's, but nobody is ever going to reach it legitimately.
-
Shadowborn. Best QoL you can give yourself while playing killer. Should be basekit.
-
All of them. At the actual moment the only thing that needs to be looked at is Alchemist Ring Blight (not basekit, just the addon). Everything else is just people being crybabies like always.
-
The only killer that is super boring to face is Hag. There's no player vs player interaction, you just keep disarming traps and resetting until either everyone dies or all gens get done.
