I think it would be really cute if Mikaela and Sable got each others' default outfits as cosmetics. Since they're besties, it would be a fun way to show that off.

I would love if this was just a permanent option to run regular trials with. Being able to randomize one, two, three, or all four perk slots would be ideal. The random perk challenges are my favorites and it always saddens me when I can't rerun them.

Link the cosmetics so people stop using them to be #########. No need to get rid of them entirely.

I love taking the invocation perk and never using it. It spawns the circle in the basement so the killer can go see that and then waste time periodically checking down there.

The hoodies are awesome. I like how they have a more clear visual of her face with unique makeup compared to her default. The cat ears with spikes looks super wicked, like the chapter. 😁 I'll probably add that to my outfit because I bet they will also go really good with future cosmetics. I love being able to mix and match from different sets.
Yeah! She's going to be my main for the foreseeable future. Love the aesthetic, love the lobby voice lines, love the Mikaela connection, she has really good lobby animations, it's all good stuff. I even like her perks, even if the invocation could use some love.

I thought it was cool that the cosmetics weren't linked. I like seeing a balding man in old lady clothes. Reminds me of old comedy shows. And also shows how hard the Unknown is trying to look human. And it means I can use a different weapon to the Axe.
Even in game, it doesn't know how to breathe normally, instead it grunts in pain.
Yeah, fully agreed. It just looks so ridiculous no matter what combination of parts/clothing are used.

The bottom line is if someone is being harassed for being trans a normal reaction should not be "Oh well, if you put yourself out there" but this is the state we are in huh.
Simply by existing we put ourselves out there. We're not going anywhere.

I use the cat ear hood instead of default hair but otherwise this is my look. Really excited to see what cosmetic options she gets down the line.

And she would've let another take the role had she known exactly what the role would've entailed to stop herself from feeling so dysphoric.
The comments about her mental health suffering because of it, and the transphobic backlash, I do not have evidence for anymore.
This is heartbreaking to see. Why do bigots have to ruin everything.

If nothing else something should be done about the situations where there's two survivors left and multiple gens left to do. It almost always turns into hide and seek where both survivors just hope the other one gets caught first so they can get hatch. It's boring on both sides.

You're issue with the skins, from my understanding (correct me if I am wrong), is that you believe that the tattered and distorted body of the Unknown is too 'masc-coded' for the Cheerleader outfit because it comes off as transphobic? Or that it presents some form of Trans Stereotype?
If that were the case, I don't think BHVR would have made the skins, they have been quite open about their support of the LGBT community. I think they learnt their lesson from the Bubba masks in which they want to avoid giving bigots ammunition to harass people.
Also, I would not have known the Unknown had a trans VA had I not been on this post. The more you know.
I for one, like the skins and the fact that I can mix and match the bodies and weapons (like the Dredge, my best boi). If it does become an issue, then we can almost assure that they will amend it, but for now I think you might be reading into it a bit too much.
As far as Trans rep in DBD goes, the only thing we have for it is the Tubarão skin for Renato (the Transgender defender from Rainbow Six Siege)

The thing people are latching on to is that these are non-set locked cosmetics, so you can have the cheerleader body with the masculine face or vice versa. It's not transphobia, the creature doesn't understand what humans are supposed to look like and is barely holding the shell together.

The update has been out for 2 days. People want to try out the new shiny thing. This happens every single time new perks/killers/etc come out. Once the novelty wears off things will go back to normal, just like every time before this one.

Exactly. Report every instance you see, take screenshots and send it to BHVR. Be an ally. That's the best thing you can do for us.

I understand the intent behind the sentiment but going back into hiding is not the solution. That's what these people want. They want to make us stop existing, to make us afraid, to make us feel subhuman. Telling people to hide who they are in order to avoid harassment is just helping the bigots get what they're after. Use the trans flag charm to show support, drown out the bigots with support and positivity. It's needed now more than ever.

Speaking as a trans person, they're not transphobic. I can sort of understand the viewpoint but the killer is a monster using a hollowed out skin suit while not understanding what it's supposed to look like. For the being abused by transphobes part, those people will find ANY excuse to be awful about it. I get plenty of hate for daring to use the trans flag charm. Removing it from the game would just fuel those idiots and make them even more likely to keep doing it.
If you remove the cosmetics for perceived transphobia it proves those people right and they will just move on to the next thing in the game they want to get rid of and go from there. Don't give them the satisfaction.

Speaking as a trans person, the skins are fine. I've seen a lot of transphobic stuff out there across a lot of media and this doesn't even come close. The unknown is some sort of abomination piloting around a skin suit while not really understanding how human proportions work. Don't give in to the bigots and the people trying to sensationalize everything. There's nothing wrong with these cosmetics.

It's far worse. DbD is what drove me to private my steam profile and restrict comments. I've gotten so many death threats, ######### comments, trans/homo/younameitphobia. This is the worst, most toxic community I have ever seen and no other game has even come close. I've played R6S, OW1, various CoDs, etc. Those games are nothing compared to the toxic hellscape that this community is.

Survivor: Calm Spirit. It counters a surprising amount of things and not agitating the birbs is very underrated.

Cheryl for licensed Yui for non-licensed. I'm a huge SH3 fan, and Yui's backstory is amazing. She has good cosmetics, a good base look, I'm a big sucker for forehead goggles, she's the one for me.
