?
Way too much?
He hits you and goes on lockers. What is he doing that's 'Too much' ?
- Lightning speed
- No TR
- No red stain
- Holds you hostage in lockers
- Can jump right over dropped pallets and through windows
- 6 second cooldown
- Built-in bloodhound
-
I barely touch this game since March 2020.
-
NO!!
Victor already has WAY TOO MUCH going for him. He is borderline unfair.

Never
I throw my matches on purpose after the gates are open and everyone has escaped so my mmr stays low to meme and chill.
Same

Survivor in general is frustrating. Can be stressful even if you're playing with friends, especially when you + all your friends are casual players. And not the least bit competitive.
-
No. His post-uncloak lunge literally guaranteed a completely free hit.

Yes it's totally dying you right man.
You specifically have that chart selected to only show the last 7 days. Try to adjust it to show the last entire 365 days overall.
Or even, the last 6 months.

Good for you. And I guess you didn't read my other responses during this thread.
When you have 10-20 minute queues you have enough time to do leveling. And can still switch characters unlike killer thanks to character lock.(Which is BS btw now because individual killer MMR was nothing more than another empty pr promise)
When they are instant then you should have enough time to do it before queueing, like me when i play killer during prime time.
And lastly, if you want to do that during lobby time, go for it but don't expect the killer not to act upon it.
If you don't know the intent of the other party, expecting the worst is sadly the norm and killer will see it as a tryhard maneuver and respond accordingly even if it wasn't.
And that is why this game's playerbase is decreasing ...... People with your mentality

They don’t though. They have normal correctly sized hitboxes. What you’re confused on is latency, which is unavoidable.
Major problem with DBD though: Killers with bad Internet get an unfair advantage. Validation sucks.

My personal problem with Twins is literally the fact that there's nothing you can do against Victor except hope he misses a pounce.
Mind you, I'm primarily a solo survivor, I very rarely swf. So the "group up" counterplay argument doesn't help me here.
Lockers are yet another counterplay argument I see, but truthfully that doesn't feel like counterplay. Victor holds you hostage in it just for enough time to have Charlotte come. And the cooldown for Victor is so short that she can just use him again. Absolutely nothing you can do except delay the inevitable. That is such a completely miserable experience.
And even on the rare occurrence that I do play with friend(s), it's still such a totally miserable experience to go against.
To me personally, it truly does feel like Victor is quite possibly the biggest crutch in the entire game (MY opinion). He has way too much going.

Strange that you didn't do that during the 10-20 minute queue time many people have, paying survivor?
Survivor queues are instant during the early portion of the day. Before 7PM.
-
But what if survivor queues are fast, I'm leveling up a brand new character (Yoichi), then return to my main (Dwight) before the match starts or I run out of BP to spend?
-
- Make solo survivor not feel so weak. Maybe I'd play a lot more then.
- Make perks less impactful to the game overall. Both sides applied.
- Just stop with the extremely strong antichase/antiloop killers.
- Fix the bloodpoint grind so I'm spending every waking hour of the day playing the game just to P3 a single character.
-
Wiggling is honestly so pointless when there's always 3 hooks within 8 meters.
-
How To Make Twins More Fun & Balanced: Delete them from the game, or gut Victor.

There is no solo play on DbD against Bots - the closest thing to that is the tutorials or Custom Matches (commonly called Kill Your Friends). However, no you cannot play the game on Linux or Proton, it's only available on Windows 10 or 11.
I can play on Linux though, with a little bit of manipulation to Wine & Proton.
-
DS has already been nerfed into the ground. You really do want a free win and free tunnel?
-
Nurse. Huntress, Myers.
Definitely not Hag, Artist or Pinhead though. Blight is questionable.
-
Twins. And it's not about the camp/slug. It's literally the fact that I feel like there's nothing I can do against Victor except just hope the killer misses. I'm a primarily solo player. Also the way I see it, the "counterplay", group up impossible on solo, lockers get you held hostage - not counterplay imo. It's still overall a completely miserable experience to go against, no matter which way I look at it.
I'd rather face old Forever Freddy and old Spirit for the rest of my life, over a single game against Twins ever.
-
A few of the ideas I've had, and even heard from others is pretty good for reducing the grind. I can certainly agree, with the huge number of killers and survivors we have now, the grind is extremely rough, especially if you're a newer player or you go to work.
For example:
- Remove perk tiers
- Reduce teachables from 30/35/40 to levels 20/25/30
- Make 1.5x bloodpoint gain the BASE bp gain across the board
- Award more than 32K points per-match
- Keep Red Envelopes (or something equivalent) in the game permanently, it adds a fun side objective and grants BP
-
A lot of pallets and windows are already unsafe for survivors. You should NOT be able to win every single chase, that isn't very balanced.
-
From a game developer with access to these tools provided by Epic Games for EAC - I can confirm that this is a relatively simple process. You are literally ticking a few boxes in your EAC management portal, and updating the games EAC binaries.
This should require very minimal testing.
And if anything, if BHVR does require some degree of testing, surely they could spin up an accessible PTB for users wanting to test it out?
Linux users are by far way more technically knowledgeable than your average Windows user. If anything goes wrong, a Linux user would certainly provide the best kind of feedback, especially given the huge variety of Linux distributions that people may use.
-
It would be easier if BHVR were to implement a kind of "Replay" system like Fortnite did.
So when you report someone, it uploads that match replay with the report.
-
From a solo Q standpoint, killer sided.
