IKR. It's so nice playing other games. I still come here to keep in touch with changes to the game praying things change in more positive ways. This was my most played game and now it collects dust. Sad really.
If more players would go on long breaks to play something else this game would probably be in a better place.
But instead they would rather treat each other like ######### in game and come to the forums and ######### and argue about.

Then they should get reported and banned for a couple of days. It will be faster to try to end the match with a sacrifice or a escape than going AFK (which already happen). I really don't see a reason to defend survivors being able to kill themselves on the hooks, as it destroy 4 other players match.
If you queue as survivor you should be ready to face any type of killer, not only the ones you want.
What your saying is the same as a killer giving up in match should we also punish them too?
Wouldn't be better to fix the reasons on why theses players do theses things.
I'm not defending no-one, but forcing them to say in the match because they can't leave they will just go AFK.
More reasons why the DEVs should stop with theses chapters every 3 months and focus on problem's like theses.

Someone who joins the match...and hides from the very beginning not doing anything AT ALL because "they're waiting for everyone else to die" is ok and not reportable...? OKAY. no more questions.
That's simply being afk...your objectives are gens that if you don't do your main objective than it is reportable.
Yes, a "playstyle" that applies at the end of the match...when there's you and one other survivor maybe to increase your chance for a hatch...not for majority of a match!
Obviously this doesn't apply if both players are doing this because then it's just holding the game hostage.

It's just being a selfish player.

That would make sense if we were on hooks or smth but we had only 1 gen to finish and game was going good. And she was hiding even before that. There was ZERO reason for a selfish gameplay at that point.
I don't have a answer for why players like that do the things they do.
All I know is hiding and letting your team die is not reportable. To some it's consider a playstyle.

Because buffing killers would mean they would have to do something (remove) camping.
By doing this it would make so many upset and cry to the DEVs and they don't want hear it.
So camping stays no buffs.

Don't be so quick to pick up bait them out from hiding.
Look around first think like a survivor where they could be hiding at.
Look at walls.

More objectives to do for both sides.
Having more to do then slamming out gens as fast as you can to set a world record or camping/tunneling out a survivor as quick as possible to make it a 3v1.
Having the same lame gameplay every round is boring. More to do can make the matches more interesting and fun.
Remove all survivor items and add-ons from inventory and the blood web, and turn them into objectives that the survivors can get for that round.
Killers can activate different types of traps on the map where they can be snares, caged, damage, slowed down, revealed.
The events collecting nectar, lanterns give them a different look interacting make one (survivor or killer) gives a short little bonus effect interacting with the other one/collecting it gives bonus BP's and shards.
Key and hatch can be a time limit puzzle for one survivor to escape. Turning the match into a 3v1 early.
Survivor interacts with the key starts the countdown can't complete it in the time limit the hatch is locked for the rest of the match.

That's not at all what I said. I said that you should not play with the goal of seeking revenge. Practicing with the hope that you can ultimately be strong to beat bullies in DBD, is a super inefficient use of your time. You'd be competing with people who have no other life goal than to play the game and be as annoying as possible. And even if you end up beating them, then what? The game will be forgotten after 5 minutes, and then they'll go bully someone else.

I never said anything about seeking revenge or be a bully. If I was I would be telling them to camp and tunnel nodding and smack the one on the hook. Play ghost face and pig and t-bag the slug on their head.
Just because I told them to practice so they can deal with these groups wasn't me telling them to seek out revenge and to be like them.
It was so they know how to deal with them. So they can enjoy the match instead of being another whiny crybaby that comes to the forums complaining about everything little thing.

Ultimately, you'll always end up facing players that are way better than you, and whether these guys decide to be toxic after they win is out of your control. In fact, getting better will increase your MMR and make it maybe even more likely to run into 4-man squads, so it might make the situation even worse. You should aim at becoming better at the game because you like the game, not because you want to seek revenge against some guys over the Internet. Spending 1000 hours for that is not worth it I'm sure OP has much better use of this time.
Don't tell others to practice to get better at a certain killer they choose to play, ok.

You mean DC'ing?
Yes you'll get a time out for a couple minutes to start and the time goes up the more you DC.
It's how the the player-base is toxic killers create these toxic groups
and these toxic groups create toxic killers. Endless cycle
Trapper might not be for you try Wraith.
Wraith is who I used when I started playing until Spirit came out.
Keep practicing and learning from your mistakes, sooner then later you'll be able to deal with theses type of groups.

It is not happening to players that tunnel, play without tunneling and you will loose 90% of your trials.
Horse Crap you don't need to tunnel or camp to win.
With this post and your OP your not good at playing killer.
Learn from your mistakes stop taking every match as you have to win and practice get better.

That’s where Dwight-bot and his many friends come in. Going forward, any Survivor who disconnects will be replaced with an AI substitute.
After reading this⬆️ the second the DC happens that survivor is replaced with a bot. where ever the survivor was at when the DC happened down, hooked, working on a gen or hiding in a locker
They DC'ed on hook what ever survivor that player was playing as becomes a bot.
They get downed in the first minute of the match they DC that downed survivor becomes a bot.
They DC'ed in a locker the survivor exiting is a bot.

There are a lot of killers I’d like to see whether “iconic” or not: Norman Bates (Psycho), the Scissorman (Clock Tower), the Xenomorph (Alien), the Candyman, Count Orlok (Nosferatu), Lipstick Face Demon (Insidious), Jerry Dandridge (Fright Night), Jack Torrance (The Shining), Mater Suspirorium (Suspiria), The Pale Man (Pan’s Labyrinth), Mr. Chuckleteeth (The X-Files renewal), Pious Augustus (Eternal Darkness), and, yeah, Jason Voorhees.
Survivors I’d like to see whether stand-alone or packaged with the aforementioned killers: Jennifer Simpson (Clock Tower), Alex Roivas (Eternal Darkness), Alan Wake, Brigette Fitzgerald (Ginger Snaps), and Sidney Prescott (even though DBD’s Ghost Face is an original killer I’d still love to see Sidney join the fun.) If they add Jason I’d actually like it if they added Chad Kensington from the game but I know that’s unlikely. Also, if they gave Quentin a Nancy Thompson skin I’d die.
I don’t want Art the Clown or Pennywise… or the Leprechaun. I wouldn’t mind classic horror characters like The Wolfman or the Phantom. I’m not sure what I think about FNaF…?
Miller only owns US rights and only to the first movie and Cunningham owns adult, hockey mask-wearing Jason but can’t legally use him in a movie without Miller’s permission.
They both have to work together or there's nothing.
Like my first post we'll see a movie before Jason gets added to another game. Unless the DEVs have some sweet talkers working for them or Miller and Cunningham are working together in secret I don't see (Jason) Friday the 13th chapter happening.

Slugging, face camping, tunneling off hook, beating survivors on hook while nodding is all in.
Section 1 paragraph 2 of the killer handbook.
Because their playing a role and that role is to be an ahole their playing killer their allowed to.
In section 3 paragraph 5 of the handbook it goes on to say you are just a bot not a real person.
It's all in the killer handbook clear as day. You must read it to understand it 😃 😂 🤣

You can't force someone to play that has given up on hook.
Five gens no one is working a survivor goes down put on hook killer is camping.
That survivor on hook knows the match is more likely a loss their getting camped team isn't doing anything.
Why should they be forced to say in the match?
Someone giving up on hook because they don't like the killer is no different then a killer lobby dodging because they don't like the group of survivors.
Punishing isn't the answer it's fixing the reasons why players are doing theses things. Lobby's ,gens, camping, hooks tons of other reasons why someone would give up.
Make the matches more fun for both sides to play.

You're still going to get camped if you decide to get yourself off the hook you get tunneled down and put back on the hook.
This so called camping fix is to stop players from killing themselves on hook. Not to stop the killer from camping.

We don't really know the console numbers, so those don't really matter since they're unavailable to us, however if they're anything similar to the numbers seen for pc, then it wouldn't make any difference.
Also i'm fairly certain that even without the lawsuit, dbd's numbers would have risen regardless judging by the numbers some of the past chapters pulled in.
Again if the lawsuit never happened the game would of improved.
Console players do matter I'm not getting sucked into an arguing with a DBD white knight.

I doubt F13 would have been neck to neck with DBD considering that even without the lawsuit, it's player count never really came close to match dbd's own player numbers in it's entire lifetime.
There was other players playing then just PC. On PlayStation it was very much alive.
Plus DBD only increased in players because of the lawsuit I'm one of them. I had no intentions on playing DBD back then.
