It only takes a single Survivor being worse than the Killer for the game to be functionally over.
Corrupt stops early gen progress. PR will destroy gens after the chase. Same with Pop. Deadlock prevents more than one popping.
I don't know what sort of meh Killers are in your region or time of day, but most Killers stack slowdown and tunnel off of first hook.
Agreed I don't know who hes playing with or against or if hes always in a swf. I can say that tunneling is harming the game more then its doing any good I haven't had a game where the killer wasn't running at least 3 slowdowns. I guess if were not gonna fix tunneling just nerf pop and pain res again.

If you are 5gen tunneled by a low-skilled killer, it means the survivor is equally low-skilled. Everyone wasted time with the first survivor being chased by the killer, and while he was on-hooked, others were doing useless things and preventing from completing the gen.
Due to his incompetent companions, he was made easy for the killer to dig a tunnel and easily died. It was his comrade's fault, and they indirectly killed him.
Well if matchmaking actually worked this wouldn't be a problem but it doesn't if someone on my team leaves in lobby that has 7k and we all have about 2 to 5 k hours and the new person pops up and they have 4 hours played there's a problem id rather wait another 20 30 min to get a good teammate but that's not how bhvr prioritizes. Buckle up + ftp needs to be taken out of the game and so does tunneling both really unhealthy so is bloodlust its an ancient mechanic built before all the maps have been redesigned and for the maps it can still be a problem well it probably time to look at those maps.

An Insane amount of perks are useless against someone who hits off hook, Deli, Adren, BT, and so on. The difference is OTR still denies aura reads and grunts of pain. It’s literally dead hard that can’t be missed on an 80 second timer. And how often do you get hit off hook? I would say it happened about 1 in 20 games for me if that.
You know that's not going to help much if you're getting tunneled right? There's still scratch marks and blood pools only way you loose a survivor and you're tunneling is if you aren't very experienced in chase. Which is a catch 22 because tunneling makes you bad at chase. That's why when a lot of killers get to high mmr (myself included until I learned how to actually play killer) start to complain about things like adren or ds because the survivors are actually good at countering tunneling because they are better at looping.

If they never bothered messing around with the parameters of Boons to make them work better, why would they start now with Invocations?
They didn't work them to work better they worked them to work worse fyi. It was really problematic to killer like hugely that's why they nerfed it and nerfed it again I cant even remember the last time bhvr buffed something then buffed it again let me know if i forgot a perk like that.

@Reinami said:

Because it isn't possible to buff it again? Everything in the game only ever gets one change allowed and then they can't ever change it again?
For the most part yes I'm sure they will just make another invocation perk before this ever even gets a thought of being looked at again. It works exactly how they intended why would they change it.

Its pretty easy. I go on long win streaks all the time as killer. I loved the 6.1. patch it made everything easy mode.

Get your killer MMR up, have fun
No one knows their mmr but I win almost 80 to 90% of my games and I play a lot maybe 6 to 8 hours a day its still easy.

Several games the killer has like 1 or 2 hooks there is 1 gen left someone will go on first hook an instantly give up I don't understand it
Oh well if its 1 gen then you still have plenty of time to win just play and go next. If they don't want to play then they don't have to play.

As we know MfT has fallen far from it's old glory and while it was a bit dumb I almost kinda miss it as the game felt more even during that time. Regardless MfT is never coming back in that form and since then I hardly see it anymore and while it is much worse I think the perk could still have potential possibly?
Tunneling as we know is very common in the present day perhaps more than ever and if they decide not to wait out the basekit endurance you get a free trigger for MfT and pushing it even further if they try to wait it out while you have OtR then you're still getting the trigger and now you're faster and much harder to track. I guess my question is has anyone already tried this and what were the results? If you haven't tried it do you think in theory MfT could still have use as an anti-tunnel perk?
Don't hold you're breath as a killer50 this whole thread is about to lose their mind. Don't ever try to help the survivor out they have all the perks already.

You’re wanting tick for tack, that is an us vs them thing. We don’t measure game balance by one cookie for you, one cookie for me. We measure by objectivity. What if killers were way, way over powered and survivors needed multiple buffs to catch up. That would make sense. However if we were following your rational we couldn’t do that, if we gave survivor three buffs welp the killers gotta get 3 as well, even if they don’t need it.
If that's the case I can say that the game is more killer sided by far I've never had an easier time so if anything killer doesn't need anything and survivors do they have been getting shitted on for the past year.

@Blueberry said:

So revert one bad extremely recent change is synonymous with revert literally everything even years back? Can we not have an isolated conversation without turning every single thing into an us vs them thing? I actually would revert multiple things survivors had nerfed over the years, I'm sure that's surprising. However, any person with clear objectivity on the game agreed both those things you mentioned were extremely unhealthy design and bad for the game.
i play both sides so i dont know where you get this us vs them thing im just stating that if you want to do things for killer you have to give some to survivor.

The reason I praise Dramaturgy here is that you can use it whenever you want. For example, it is not used at undesirable moments such as SB. Or, like BL and Lithe, you do not need to do any other action to use it. Using BL and Lithe is nice, 150% for 3 seconds is a good speed, but if there is not a lot of distance between you and the killer, you will take damage until you get to the window or a hill. Have you ever dealt damage to a survivor while activating Lithe or BL (I mean jumping out of the window and falling from a height)? And I'm sure the killer will damage you when using Lithe or BL. These perks are for gaining distance, not for avoiding damage. As for SB, you make a gen and instead of going to a pallete 30 meters away, you use Dramaturgy to go to a pallete 15 meters away. Also, this perk works even if the killer is in Bloodlust 5.
its definitely does not work on blood lust bloodlust 2 already is faster then the 25% you get as survivor and bloodlust 1 is still enough to get a lunge in, and I understand why you like the perk I'm just saying its not meta plus the down side of insta-death is bad.

Let's talk about all the second chance perks, all the perks that give you so much distance. not from the past year.
Wanna talk about the ice bomb for pallets?
Lol the ice bomb from pallets that you have to spend 45 seconds getting? that dont even really make a difference sure? Killers also have plenty of second chance perks.
-
@HINGIRIK said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3681274#Comment_3681274
The old Dh was also not in the meta in its first year. Also, doesn't what I wrote make any sense to you? If you understand the gist here, you'll understand why I argue it should be Meta. As I said above, there is no other perk that protects you from injury. I think you will change your mind if you use Dramaturgy as I wrote about its usage areas above.
I've run dramaturgy for hundreds of games its a cute perk but lithe, sb, balance landing are all better exhaustion choices. Even smash hit is a better exhaustion perk with its low reset time. Most of the times if you are in need of using drama the killer is already in bloodlust and is countering the 2%.
-
@Moman624 said:
Hes not only talking about flashlight saves, Sometimes you cant even avoid them. pallet saves are ok but they waste the killers time when there trying to avoid it. Flash bangs and fire crackers sometimes are not avoidable even when you look up. Lightborn shouldn't be the go to perk for getting away from blind saves. So his points were fine, and blinding can be op because the killer in most cases cant do anything about it. MMR has place in this topic.
So then all the perks survivor have to run to not get tunneled as easily should not have to be run either with your logic do we agree?
-
So let me get this right flashlights are a problem but tunneling isnt?

@Blueberry said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3632054#Comment_3632054
^ This. The perk didn't need a nerf.
I wish they'd stop nerfing perks all around and just focus on buffing bad perks. They're adding perks to the meta at the same rate they're removing them (if not slower) so we're never actually getting a more diverse meta, just replacing perks. We need to be just adding more perks to the "good" pile so we have more options to choose from.
So we should bring back old ds and dh right since we should bring back old perks? Or are you just wanting to bring back killer perks ?

If you connected my reply to whom I was addressing you would see my point clearly.
They stated survivors only had 1 meta perk to use all year but forgot to mention all the other meta perks as if they don’t exists. My point being is meta perks are gutted on both sides. I don’t agree with however MFT getting the nerf it did. It wasn’t even that drastic. Most people that complained about it were trickster mains running 4.4 but since that buff it’s irrelevant
Name some meta perks? Lithe SB? everything else isnt meta its just to stop killers from tunneling and they dont even work? WoO well ren zen tactics then and youll know if theyre running to a deadzone. adren? The perk that only works once a game and only works because the killer got to caught up in a chase and let their pride get the best of them? Please enlighten me on all these meta perks survivor has.

@Moman624 said:
All the killer perks that have been nerfed over the last 2 years is Very crazy. I've noticed that when survivors lose a game or two, they complain and then dbd instantly nerfs killer perks. Honestly, it's a 16 vs 4 in perks, I feel like killer should be able to have 5 or six perks. It would definitely make a change and killer can actually be payable for once. The toxic community, I ignore, they need to get off the game but, the game is pretty survivor sided, every survivor we have gotten in the past year just have perks killers can't even counter. This game is amazing and I'll always love it, but I just hate it how dbd doesn't care about some of the killers.
Name some survivor perks that we got this last year that killer cant counter.....ill wait.

@Crowman said:

The killer's role is to eliminate survivors from the match. If you want to make it harder for killers to complete their objective, then they need better tools to defend gens. However, those tools have already seen nerfs because survivors also don't like it when killers focus on defending gens either.
The problem is many people just want to nerf everything killers can do to generate pressure which will only leave the killer role into a spot where it's no fun to play. Tunneling is extremely common nowadays, because a lot of alternatives have already been nerfed.
No they got the nerfs because killers still tunneled even when they were strong. Hell they even tunneled in a fun game mode like lights out. Its just they are pre programed because they aren't good at killer and cant do anything because its all they know how to do . Take it away and they will be forced to get better at killer.
-
@Crowman said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3680638#Comment_3680638
Put it on the flip side, if 4 survivors can't even get 1 gen done before one of them gets killed by the killer, the survivors are doing something wrong.
The simple fact is that tunneling isn't some problem that needs to be solved. Someone dying at 5 gens left is the fault of the survivors just like a killer not securing their first hook before 3 gens are finished is the fault of the killer.
So then we should really just take all the perks out of the game and only use gen rush also just have tool boxes with gen rush add on. Then take out all of the perks except for slowdown will make for a really fun game. That way we can force everyone to play scummy. While were at it we should give everyone wall hacks just make the game as efficient as possible for everyone. Pretty sure i just fixed the games balance issue.

@Crowman said:
Always about the "survivor fun", but no one everyone wants to address that killers need to enjoy the game too. If you want to heavily nerf the killer's ability to eliminate survivors then killers are going to need to be stronger in defending gens.

I'm trying to entertain to distract me from the time distortion I went into and got an extra 2,000 escapes as solo survivor in the last hour. I also did a 3,000 Clown win streak perkless, add on less, with Clown having emphysema and being genetically crossed with Maggie Simpson so my Clown fell on his face every third step. I almost had to stay awake for it because Killer is so easy.
No proof though; my computer is good enough for time travel but can't handle recording a video.
That's good see again your prove my point killer is easy as pie. If you can time travel I would travel back to before you posted and let me waste all you're time and made you jealous that you cant get 70 wins with Freddy. Maybe you can do it on clown but not on Freddy. Maybe if you spent the same time practicing as you do being jealous and typing you will get better.

I said survivor escapes, not Killer. However, I'm not seriously claiming that and you're saying you have a rare win streak that goes against the experience of many Killer players while none of your posts have ever indicated an understanding of how to play Killer and what the game play is like as Killer.
As well, in a game where a second hesitation can change the trajectory of the entire match, you've gotten this streak using a console or PC that is so bad it can't record anything but somehow has also never sputtered, hesitated or frozen at a crucial moment while playing one of the weakest Killers in the game. Perhaps you have Schrodenger's console?
You're just saying the exact same things everyone else with these amazing win streaks has said who also coincidentally have also not been able to provide any proof of anything. It's the same old, same old.
Its not rare its easy. It stutters plenty of times killer is just so easy it doesn't effect anything. 3k is the easiest thing in the world to do.
-
@Crowman said:
While not confirmed by BHVR, it seems they reverted the mmr improvements after some people complained about queue times. Ultimately this is why we'll never have good matchmaking, because BHVR is too focused on quick queue times.
Probably a good reason to just scrap the whole idea if it dosent work unless the que times are long.

See how it sounds?
That's good see I keep telling everyone killer is to easy. Sounds like you're winning a lot of games to me keep it up. Why would I need to buy you equipment is your pc as bad as mine or can you actually use the equipment your talking about? "People" understand that.
What the counter point is, the Blight is playing maximum killer sweat every game. The "cheat" is to keep queuing lobbies to get a game against him, bringing maximum survivor sweat to face his maximum killer sweat.
Therefore it's max sweat against max sweat. You think the Blight was taking it easy? Having his foot off the gas while trying to reach 2k? No he wasn't, he was playing just as sweaty and tryhard as he was every game.
The "cheat" can't really be called a cheat, and the game ended in a tie. So the claim the game is imbalanced because is took "cheating" to dethrone the streak is biased and unfounded, because both sides are playing the same way and it ended in a tie.
But its not max sweat against max sweat because the survivors know who they are going against and what they are bringing the killer doesn't how is that hard to understand its the equivalent of having the other teams playbook before the game.

It was 2 comp killers streaking against mostly casual players. Whenever they get someone on their level, their struggle and, most of times, lose. I don't know about the 4-man streak, but i know one of them is from comp.
Also, they were playing the 2 strongest killers of the game. They would had an even hard time against comp players if they ever choose to go with less powerful killers.
TBH, aside from some issues with tunneling, survivor is so easy to play right now. Me and my friends can get many escapes, whenever we are not trolling. 🤣
Yea I say the same about klller I'm on a 70 kill streak right now with Freddy using no slow down killer is easier then it has ever been.

I think people are seeing your use of the word "cheating" and assuming you're trying to imply that the survivors who broke the streak are the only villain in this situation and nothing else can be learned. They're missing how you essentially said "the fact a 4 stack had to do something that basically qualifies as cheating in order to just tie against him says a lot about the imbalance of the game"

Both sides do their best to ruin it for the other side. I'm not trying to be a debbie downer its just a reoccurring trend with dbd events. The events are are supposed to be fun and make players not want to sweat so hard but instead people just take whatever crazy event modification and try to find a way to abuse it.
Stuff like this hens isn't abusing it but other people are.
