How is fair that you can cherry pick a lobby just because you can, but if I load in and the killer has a very op build we have nothing (no toolboxes etc) and you have an op build topped with a mori or insane add ons but we have to take a disconnect, or every single perk we brought literally only helps us with basics but nothing to counter that op killer build? I can atleast “anticipate” just like killers do if I can see who they are. Or like I said double blind. I’m okay with either. It’s not fair , Bc we don’t have the option to dodge just Bc “we don’t like what we see” . We can dc in match sure but it gives a penalty , where you can just dodge with no consequence before hand. Or how about when the killer brings a mori and everyone has no items equipped? No we have to wait in game to find out. We don’t haveCronaWins said:@HeroLives said:
You’re looking at it from one side only. I understand why killers do it. I’m just asking for fairness or to be double blind. It already is fair, that's why you see items, for counter play.
How is it fair to get gen rushed from 4 toolboxes when i don't know whether to bring Franklin's or not?
Survivors already have it easy. They don't need it easier.
the option to have a hint of anticipation to prepare, where you do. It’s not fair. That’s why survivors dc in game. You see a bunch of medkits then you make an anti healing build, you see a bunch of toolboxes franklins and anti gen build, all usually come with Moris which kills everyone off early. Not to mention the camping and tunneling on top of it. You see flashlight you bring a build
for that. You can prepare. We have no option , no choice , that’s why you see the same builds over and over and over again. Id like the same option to anticipate, by seeing which character the killer is going to be. Or I’d like to be double
blind. Not all 4 mans are good , you’re lying and if you say so. I know Bc I’ve been in them. I mainly solo. Trying to play with friends though is a nightmare even when you’re not on a good team Bc the killers dodge and dodge and dodge just because it’s a “4 man or 3 man” or they see a toolbox and a medkit. So you go from lobby to lobby to spend more time on a pending screen than actually playing the game . Which is an incredible bummer, Bc who wants to play a game they can’t actually play that’s for multiplayers with friends?
-
I’ve been in plenty of four mans where 2 or more die if not all of us. Usually one maybe 2 make it out. That’s also with the looking for swf posts which most 4 mans do. So just because you assume it’s going to go bad simply Bc it’s a four man makes you wrong. You don’t have to like what I say, but it’s true.Tucking_Friggered said:@PiiFree said:

It won’t work like that, they won’t remove SWF as an option, they can’t monitor or control verbal communicating outside of their game.
Killers need to play or leave, not keep flicking through lobbies until they get what they think is a group of solo players, and then kick off when the solo players DC because op add on dr has offered up the game map
The issues killers raise with SWF, are the same counter arguments they use when survivors complain about perks.. baffling!
What do you mean, it won't work like that? I didn't even provide a solution, I simply said the SWF issue needs to be fixed. Are you saying SWF can't be fixed in any way?
Of course is can be fixed, the question is How?
No, Killers complaining about SWF is NOT the same as Survivors complaining about Perks. How did you even come to that conclucion dude? One complaint is about perks being used, the other is about 3rd party softwares being used to gain crucial ingame advantages. Seriously, how can you compare those things? The logic of the users here is just ridiculous sometimes.
It's not bad logic, it's apathy and a desire for Behav10r to force killers to play in unfair circumstances so they can bully the killer with their friends for laughs. Or in other words, it isn't accidental. It's dishonest and with an agenda.

That's whole point of seeing items, and the reason why survivors can't see killers, is so you can counter play.
The reason they dc is because they don't know how to counter play and want to run the generic build instead.
-
Maybe that’s also likely. I too wish there was no option to leave match, or lobby dodge unless it’s a ping criteria that’s met which it would check for. That’s legit the only reason I’ll leave a lobby which is fair for either really. I’d understand if the killer saw a bunch of red too and decided to leave. The survivors jump everywhere. The killer jumps everywhere it’s a mess.Paddy4583 said:

in game DCs need to be revoked as an option, Killers shouldn’t see they lobby until they’ve locked in to playing then they have their count down to adjust accordingly.
Once You’ve locked it your all stuck playing.
Plenty of online games have implimeded, dodging and dc counter measures.
My favourites being lock ins.
But here people will DC and dodge until the end of days -

And there are variables to consider.
Largely what goes into being prepared to fight the SWFs who generally like to abuse match making to fight low rank killers.
I mean if these killers that get 3 to 4 Ks, but they have pages of 3 rank perks, purple moris, and high end addons, it doesn't mean anything to someone who doesn't even have a page of rank 3 perks, no purple moris, and insufficient offerings, both facing the same SWFs. -

You make a joke out of it but this forum is filled with killers that lobby dodge all the time for a list of reasons that have 0 to do with ping. I get lobby dodged a lot less when I play solo. If I’m in a group a considerable amount. Coincidence? I think not.PiiFree said:@HeroLives said:

You enter a Killers lobby, you're one of out of 4 Survivors. Chances are high that at least one of the Survivors has a crappy ping thanks to the ######### matchmaking, so the Killer dodges.
Every Survivor: OMG the Killer dodged because of ME . They're afraid of ME! LOL!

I play both survivor and killer, and I prefer survivor. I’ve played this game for two years on both Xbox and PC, and I can assure you, if you’re having games where killers bring Franklins a lot, you’re generally running a toxic build with other Survivors, such as most of you carrying flashlights or toolboxes to genrush. The last time I’ve seen a Franklins was against a Freddy about two weeks ago and that was because I was planning on toying with the Killer all match for ‘get chased for 2 minutes as Feng Min.’ Dropping your items suck, I know, but Killers don’t exactly have a lot to use to their advantage if they’re not playing someone like Hillbilly or Nurse. It’s a matter of thinking. It’s a horror game where Survivors need to complete gens, survive, and escape. If they knew 24/7 what Killer they were going against, it wouldn’t exactly be fun and get stale over time. The mystery of ‘well, I’m worried it’s a Doctor, should I bring Calm Spirit or should I keep using Lithe?’ is a matter of chance. Not only that, but planning ahead of the Killer, who’s main goal is to kill and keep Gens under control could make the game stale and unplayable for them if they have no clue their getting gen rushed planned by a group of 4 SWFs. You need to think about both ends of the balance scale and not outweigh one side because you favor it over the other.HeroLives said:

I don't think Rancor is anywhere near as bad. It's rare to see someone killed with it. If 3-4 survivors are alive at the end, chances are you aren't finding the obsessio. Especially not on larger maps. Rancor does nothing to any of the other survviors.
If 2 survivors are alive around the time of the last gen, chances are they aren't going to do the last gen anyway meaning it won't activate.
There's a reason barely anyone uses Rancor lol NOED on the other hand is extremely common. -

Idk man I do better on solo when I play not like a hero and more like an #########. Anytime people play slightly altruistic it usually goes down hill unless you have a good team. Or play swf and have a good team.TreemanXD said:@HeroLives I think either i’m just lucky or you are just unlucky cause i’m also on PS4.
There’s a few people I play really well with and others not so much Bc I’m a higher rank than them, so they get pushed to a higher killer tier which means half the team dies. Which is a bit of a break for me but worse for them. Which evens it out I guess, but it’s hard to play well when most of your team is getting slugged and hooked. Ya know? I can’t save ,do gens, do totems, and run the killer all by myself. The team work survivor side sucks and killers use that against survivors so well. I’m not complaining about killers being op. I’m complaining about a perk re-work that further promotes bad gameplay that will leave a majority of survivors pissed off. I mean plus killers like to hang out till you’re going into your second hook phase and by the time you can make a safe unhook you’ve lost an incredible amount of time. Because you have one person waiting for a safe unhook, the other two on gens, and the other one well on the hook. Or you have a billy with ruin, bbq, running around slugging making snowball effects and when he can’t snowball. He uses bbq. Next thing you know the entire team is slugged and hooked before you can even get a gen done. It really changes according to the higher you rank up. Once you hit about rank 7 and up it’s a nightmare and gets worse the higher you go.
Lower ranks ez Bc those killers aren’t as good they are usually terrible at trying to slug, or gen pressure. I survive most matches up until rank 7 and up. Then my rate drops drastically.

I guess man, we have serious issues on ps4. It’s crazy.TreemanXD said:@HeroLives sounds like you’re unlucky because my games are usually not like any of these. Is it just PS4 killers?
-
Listen most matches goTreemanXD said:@HeroLives you know killers aren’t going to know you have DS right? It isn’t likely you’ll be slugged every time.
slugged
tunneled
camped
moried
and sometimes you’ll get a variety of the few.
I don’t like anything that encourages more of that type of gameplay because it’s UNFUN -
Lolol that’s all we can do is pray the entity will bless us. Bc gen rushing the only way for a decent survival percentage.TreemanXD said:@HeroLives then pray to the entity they rush gens
-
You obviously play with friends more than solo, Bc solo matches are a real ######### show.TreemanXD said:@HeroLives i’m a survivor main

Also who am I going to tell if I’m playing solo? Which I do majority of the time.TreemanXD said:We have perks to counter slugging and if the killer slugs you and camps the slug have your mates rush gens.
-
Yeah ugh it doesn’t always work out like that mate, which you’d know if you even played survivor for real.TreemanXD said:We have perks to counter slugging and if the killer slugs you and camps the slug have your mates rush gens.

Cold wind needs a rework

There was a counter to ds. It was called dribbling and slugging. Also a lot of people miss it it’s not 100%Eveline said:There is a counter for noed. Same can't be said about previous ds. -
Yeah my pleasure😒holywhitetrash said:@HeroLives said:
Not to be that person but killers keep getting better and better stuff, buffs, oh not to mention the entire fact that most things they nerfed on survivors so hard killers can counter without even bringing a perk to counter it. Flashlights almost useless, Bnp certainly useless, windows now, hit boxes.Survivor goes nerf nerf nerf nerf yo I can’t bring a perk to handle all the stuff. Where in game killer counters can be done through gameplay without it. Plus the new gen nerf. Now the ds nerf.
Im beyond pissed. It’s not fair. I hardly ever play killer and get hella 4ks or you 3ks just doing a daily not even trying. I don’t even really like playing killer. They are literally sucking the fun out of the survivor side. I’m not the only person that feels this way at all. Maybe one of the few brave enough to speak up. This sucks and keeps sucking more every single update for survivors, and I honestly want to tell the devs to back the [BAD WORD] off us with all these nerfs dressed up as something”better” when it’s not.
just commenting because you made me laugh so hard i almost fell out of my chair

I dislike this comment so muchEveline said:Unbreakable? -
No they are going to slug and wait for the new timer to run out mate. =increased slugging. Which is already a huge survivor drag on the game. Two survivors are on the ground, but we’re greedy okay. Then it’s walk over and try to get them up and possibly get slugged too, or wait until they’re both hooked so close together Bc hooks are everywhere now. Then the killer patrols between them waiting. It’s brilliant but it sucks and it’s becoming a problem for survivors. So much so I felt the need to say something. Now another perk for survivors against survivors where it encourages more slugging. #NOTHANKSReikoMori said:@HeroLives said:
a growing slugging issue soon to be made worse by the decisive re-work. Bc laying on the ground is hella fun, ya feel me? SO MUCH FUN🙄🙄🙄 Maybe I’ll just get good and never get caught lololololol Bc death rates for survivors aren’t already high af, now we will be able to play army crawl simulator tooo. wooohoo!Slugging is a product of the state of a game in which in order to slow the game down it is more effective to get at least two people down before hooking. Survivors are either running through gens or being ultra greedy with altruism saves to the point where rather than be vulnerable during a pickup or hook killers would rather slug. DS rework won't increase slugging. It will actually decrease tunneling and slugging because once you get hooked that first time killer's gonna let you run and deal with someone else till they can hook you again.

There’s so much you have to try to counter and no way to know what to bring. You must not play survivor at all?NuclearBurrito said:@HeroLives said:

e8Lattice said: Let me guess, Decisive Strike nerf? once you successfully land a DC on Killer you end up in dying state crawling away from them? Wouldn't surprise me, Killers cry so much about this ability that can only be used once per match, it makes sense that it should be powerful. Bring it on, DC is a crutch anyway and I never use it. Far more important perks to use than a one off through away perk that just ends up taking space for better perks.
I very very rarely used DS. That’s not the point. Now killers will hook slug everyone. Bc it’s the logical thing to do.
If only we had a perk to hard counter slugging...
Like the killers like to say”I don’t have enough perk slots for all the counters” [BAD WORD] off captain obvious
The point is that since the perk exists that makes slugging risky. How many things are you trying to counter at once anyways?
Slugging
Stealth
camping
tunneling
New surv killer rework
making sure you can’t do a gen together
nurses
Aura perks
these are just off the top of my head and our stealth perks only cover specific stealth things soo
oh I also need sc and an exhaustion perk to make sure I even have a chance at living or escaping the killer. Which 70% of the time if you’re solo you don’t. -
