Clown is ok. He can be really annoying if he plays correctly and his add-ons can make him more annoying to play against.

Ive literally been playing less than a week. This is the only killer I have problems with.😕
As a person who plays some clown, a good way to counter him is to not let him force you where he wants you to go, stay at safe loops, if he throws a bottle on the pallet try to keep track of him and throw down the pallet if you think he's going to lunge. Just dont let him corral you with his power, clown can be very strong.

Spirit. On paper she's okay, but her powers, especially with certain perks negate most potential counters.
Yeah, she is annoying to play against.

Killer, when you go against good survivors the can easily counter you, when survivors have the upper edge and more awareness with a 3rd person view.
-

Definitely Pig.
- Her RBT's ensure that a survivor stops focusing on doing gens and has to run around for up to 2 minutes trying to get it off of their head.
- If they don't get the RBT off of their head before the timer runs out, it kills them.
- Pig can bodyblock the jigsaw boxes to ensure an RBT will kill a survivor.
- Jigsaw boxes skillchecks are affected by Unnerving presence.
- She's stealthy.
- If she has 2 or more survivors with ticking RBT's she can focus on the survivors doing gens instead which stops survivors from doing them efficiently, resulting in slowing the gen progress to either none at all or a crawl, and hands her an easy win.
- RBT's causing survivors to avoid doing gens = same slowdown as old ruin if it lasted longer than the first 2 mins of a match.
"PiG OP, pLZ NeRf!"
I feel like the only pressure I get from pig is surveillance, Surveillance OP 😂. But surveillance is actually a really good perk though.

You have time to get purge on your way to a gen you know they are working on, the game isn't just chase survivors, it's more than that. ^^
Now, can we please leave it at that. Thank You! 😁

like i said her puke is inconsistent 75% of the time, and can be stopped by objects the survivors are running around and who has the time to go get purge when chasing ? ^^

The unforgiving part of DS is if you miss it you missed it. There is enough second chance mechanics in this game already that the last thing the game needs is hand holding with respect to skill checks too and yeah I often miss em because I'm a potato survivor. But that's the cost of running it.
I know

Its ALREADY a backup perk. Dont rely on it so much that you need 2 chances with it.

Suggestion:
Add a little shrine to the basement with 5 lit candles.
Every time a totem gets cleansed a candle gets extinguished.
Pros:
This would help solo survivors know if there are any remaining totems in the trail, more reason for survivors to put themselves in danger and go down in the basement to check, possible buff for territorial imperative, cool mechanic which fits the DbD theme and makes the realms more connected with all objects within instead of suggesting a totem tracker to the perk Small Game (lame)
Let me know your thoughts
I like it, seems nice. I could imagine having it.

I don't know how to describe it greatly, but it's basically how the brain works. You're going to remember bad things over good things more often. Now you may genuinely be getting unlucky with what map you get, although without tracking statistics we couldn't be 100% sure on this.
Also as you stated, Springwood has 5 variations, although only getting one is a tad bit peculiar.
I got all 5 over the course of 5 games as killer

her puke is so inconsistent it goes throught the survivor without affecting them most of the time. So yeah maybe she has a one shot down once they are affected but still she has nothing to help in chases or to map control.
She can puke on objects to infect them and cause more map pressure. Plus her corrupt purge helps her during chase, even vile purge helps a lot.

Object, no mither, spine chill, resilience.
On topic: Spirit, Oni, Freddy, Hag are all contenders. But I think I will give it to Oni.
He is easily the strongest killer in the game when in his power, and if your team gives it to him easily? Well, your skill as a survivor is not really much of a factor anymore.
Which item should I bring? A key, flashlight, map, alex's toolbox?

Yes but the DS skillcheck would be way harder to hit making it risky to do
It may change to counter-clockwise and become completely random the second time.

@Slashstreetboy said:
It´s totally OP since you could hold off on it till you need it. At the start of a match it can be kind of a waste yet once the gates are powered it´s a near guaranteed escape.

A little off topic but can someone give me a challenge perk build for survivor, I'm getting bored.

@GoshJosh said:
Now, I will premise this by saying that I haven't been saving data; however, I notice that I get a sickening amount of Springwood (and a particular variation at that) when I play killer. I'm talking about more than 50% of my matches. At this juncture I am mostly only playing killer for dailies and Rift , so I am very keen to seeing how often the game selects this map for me. And as you well know, this map is highly favorable towards survivors. Gets tiring.
Has anyone noticed a similar trend for themselves?
Yes!!!! When I play killer I constantly get springwood maps it gets annoying

That´s definity not true. Her ability can be realy powerful und sometimes crashes the games of hyper aggressive SWFs in a few seconds if they do one little mistake. Many people think it´s a counter to her if you just don´t clean yourself on a fountain, because then she gets her range attack. But guess what: Now your one hit for the hole round...
Sometimes it can work, if it´s a 4 SWF with realy good loopers and all of them clean themself simultaniously at the end of the round. But it can also crash your game in a few seconds. Plague isn´t one of the strongest killers, but can youse her power in enough different ways that it works well.
I completely agree, I have been getting so many 4K wins as plague because of the strength of her power. But I feel like more than a small bit of corrupt purge needs to hit you to do damage.

Um, spine chill is a good counter. But you can't tell which way she is coming from, and you can't counter surveillance.
One time I played pig, they got three gen'd and it took them soooo long to finish the gen because of surveillance.

I’ll give you that, if you make the skill checks actually be random, spin clockwise or counterclockwise and be early or late. Some streamers play blind for the lulz and still hit it. I mean, how much more obvious can I be...
That would also be a good idea
-
Make it more versatile but more situational
-
@Raven014 said:
It is risk/reward. Or it should be. It is too versatile at the moment, and you propose to make it even more versatile?
You are correct, maybe like a shorter window of time where you could use it if you missed the skillcheck the first time?

All Huntress' perks, all Steve's perks, Solidarity, No Mither, there are so many of them...
Since you said you like to hear perk buff ideas, I will share some small perk tweaks / buffs with you.
Survivor perks
Windows of opportunity
- Removed the cooldown.
- Aura of pallets and windows are shown to you when within a 16/20/24 meter range.
Dance with me
- Cooldown reduced to 30/25/20 seconds from 60/50/40 seconds.
Any Means Necessary
- Cooldown reduced to 60/50/40 seconds from painful 140/130/120 seconds.
Fixated
- Works while injured.
Lucky Break
- While Lucky Break is active your Grunts of Pain are reduced by 75%.
Killer Perks
Zanshin Tactics
- Removed the cooldown.
- Aura of pallets, breakable walls and windows are shown to you when within a 16/20/24 meter range.
Thanatophobia
- Works for dead and sacrificed Survivors.
Distressing
- Your terror radius is increased by 8 meters.
- Gain 50/75/100% more bloodpoints for actions in the Deviousness category.
Brutal Strength
- Allows you to cancel the pallet breaking animation.
Territorial imperative
- Kicking a Generator will make it "marked", Survivors within a 8/12/16 meter range from that Generator will have their aura revealed until they leave the area, or finish that "marked" Generator.
- This applies only for one Generator at a time.
Side note: I really don't know how to buff Territorial Imperative, it's such a garbage perk, so I reworked it instead, not sure if it is op or worthless tho. (Maybe it's too similar to Surveillance)
Hope you enjoyed these perk buff ideas!
Thanks for the reworks and buff ideas I liked them! Of course thanataphobia might need a small change if it worked with dead or sacrificed survivors, it was really nice. Thanks for your opinion! 😁

Yes, but this add-on combo gives her insane map pressure as she can traverse it very quickly without even a trace of where she is other than her phasing sound when she is nearby.
Which happens to be another reason people dislike spirit they have almost no information on where she is when she phases.
-
This is a little off topic but I think luck should also affect the odds of getting an item of higher quality from a chest.

yes ring+amulet is a powerful combination which gives you insane map pressure cause you can phase from one point of the map to the other without interruption on most maps. But you can't see scratchmarks anymore with Mother-Daughter Ring, which makes it hard to use for beginners, especially if survivors are not injured and you cant hear them. But with some experience you still can get them in some cases, just not as precise maybe.
But i don't think it's more gamebreaking than let's say iri head Huntress or Tombstone Myers.

There has been a lot mentioned, there are a lot of perks that aren't viable except for meme builds and some that are situational at best. Perks like Premonition, Deja Vu, all of Steve's, Quentin's, and Laurie's needs reworked or buffed. For Killer's all of Huntress's perks, Monstrous shrine, Overwhelming presence, overcharge. There are more, as others have mentioned a lot of them are a numbers issue, they just don't do enough to warrant a slot over a more meta perk.
I'd love for them to rework at least a couple of perks for survivor and killer every major patch at least would keep things fresh.
In my opinion, Huntress Lullaby is okay where it is, but you have a good point.
-
There is an add-on combo for spirit that is broken. Otzdarva made a video on youtube about it, it's pretty overpowered, I think it's the mother daughter bracelet and the yamuyauke amulet put together. (I can't spell the name of the second add-on)
-
I had a good one. What about No One Left Behind, it is severely underpowered and could use a rework.
-
Yeah, DH is a little overpowered but it's not as overpowered as DS where you can bait DH but you can't bait DS you have to wait, and if they run Unbreakable+DS There is pretty much nothing you can do, especially if they have soul guard.
-
Dont forget that I would love to hear any buff or rework ideas for said perks.

Monstrous shrine, Steve perks, Hangmans, Discordance (but only need its numbers reversed), Quentin perks, and some new killer perks who need to be more worth the while.

When you purchase a Character's Teachable from their Bloodweb all other Characters will receive the Tier 1 Version of the Teachable Perk in their inventory.
This feature will help players get quicker access to a greater pool of Perks and entry with the Perks they want to play with on a specific Character.
That would get rid of effort in getting the perks you wanted and part of the randomness factor in the bloodweb. Plus what effect would it have when you prestige?

Is it just me, or is camping more common among players new to the game?

Well like I said, I don't really vs Spirits. I vs a few Nurses, I usually get a lot of variation but one who sticks out is Pyramid Head, he is pretty common.
I like, never give against a pyramid head, if I do its normally a new player.

@MrDardon said:
People became so sick of Spirit that no one is even playing her anymore. At least I don't see any Spirits anymore. I see more Nurses than Spirits.
People are probably extremely bored playing her, including me. I usually rather pick Nurse or Oni if I want a powerful Killer, Spirit is so brainless. Just have functional Ears and you'll do well with her.
I'd probably go out of my way to say that she is even more brainless than Freddy. Just press M2 to outplay.
I play spirit and nurse most of the time. You might have gone against me.

Just realized that I think I'm the only one who thinks, and wants, Sidney Prescott to/might come to dbd.
