Maybe the next survivor could be that for you? Make posts asking for it, maybe they will listen. If you ask me, new characters are much better than a retcon. Id rather see you get a new character than an existing one. But you may disagree with me and thats ok!
It’s not retcon when there still can be more to the story to tell. Just because he had a girlfriend a while back doesn’t mean he can’t identify himself as gay later, especially since David is a young character. It’s taken me over 21 years to find out that I’m asexual. You know why? Because it takes some people longer than others to figure out more things about themselves. You ever consider that?

Spirit and I are…it’s complicated. Also, I have pretty much no motivation to get back on DBD as the game is just going down hill and haven’t really had fun playing it. Recently got into Valorant and am planning to grind that out for a while.

I don't main Spirit but I'm sure @TheGannMan can share more if they think Spirit is gutted or not since they main her.
I go against blight and nurse 90% of my matches because I only play crossplay off, also as a solo player. I don't have a problem with facing either of those at all, the same way I didn't have a problem with facing Spirits before, because I don't mind strong killers, but I do mind getting paired with team mates who are below average.
Only problem Spirit had for me was not having a sound notification when using her power when she was close to you, everything else about her was fine with me. And like I said in my post, this is not a "survivors to blame" problem. The same way when Billy and Freddy were nerfed more than what was being asked for, is a "survivors did this" problem. It's a BHVR problem for overkilling nerfs.
You are doing a "us vs them" by implying that people who play survivor and disagree with you have a skill issue. Opinions =/= skill, gameplay = skill.
I think I’m about over trying to tell people that Spirit is still strong, because people won’t listen. Also, I’m letting Spirit go for the time being.

Probably what I am going to do. I started Fortnite and Apex again and I am having a blast.
I just got into Valorant for the first time and even though I'm garbage, it's fun and really want to get better at it. Also my next waifu is most likely in that one as I just had to dump my previous one as heartbreaking as it is.

You've ALWAYS said Spirit isn't easy and shes a hard killer to master. It's just hypocritical how defensive you get about your main killer and people criticizing Spirit in the slightest (Even to your own admittance) but jump at the chance to crap on someone else for playing their killer and tell them how easy she is to play.
I've said she's a hard killer to pick up, there's a HUGE difference. I get defensive about her because I'm just ######### sick of the constant "remove Spirit" "Spirit takes 0 skill" comments over the years. I never would've never cared one thing about her skill ceiling if people didn't make such a big deal out of it. Also Nurse has the killer that people mostly compared to Spirit so that's why I'm bitter towards her.

And what are you trying to prove? Skill floor may be very high and Nurse is a free killer so new players can pick her up from the get go and plummet her kill rate. I don’t understand why kill rate is such a popular argument, it seems like you agree with BHVR that kills=skills.
