Michael got one so I am very happy.
-
I experienced a lot of stuttering on it last night. I had to stop playing it.
The regular games were fine though.
-
Very nice.
-
Great news for the Stegull enjoyers.
-
I joined in May 2018, and I started playing Dbd in September 2017, so probably around 800 hours.
-
I am so glad she won. We needed a bad ass old lady survivor.
I'd always hoped we might have gotten one for Laurie from the Halloween 2018 movie. But that's not going to happen now.
-
Very sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and your family.
-
He needs a bigger cooldown on the vine attack. Right now he's just a zoning monster who can spam his power with no drawback to missing them.
-
Its a bit sad. He clearly enjoyed being part of the game.
If Steve's og voice actor speaks up he'll get a ton of support from all the Stegull enjoyers.

Does anyone have either of these gems left in their inventory, even though retired? I didn't know they had ever existed until yesterday.

Yes I do. I have some on Claudette and Meg. I would have had some on Dwight but back then you lost all your items and offerings when you prestiged a character.
-
That's all? I had over 1k of them on Dweet alone.
-
I will say temporary farewell as I believe they will be back after Illfonic's game has run it's course in regards to sales/profit.
Besides the Mikey players like myself will still be out there playing him. We are many.
Halloween put Dbd on the map. Opened the flood gates for more licensed content. It's contribution to Dbd can never be understated.
-
Mikey is fine. I've not encountered any bugs with him.
-
I'd love to see Hag get some love. She's one of the old school and she's always been rare to see out there in the fog.
-
I swear every region has players like that. I'm on U.K. servers and there's an e-dating couple whom I would bet spend the majority of their Dbd time lobby shopping.
-
Good luck Jester. I always enjoyed your level headed and well constructed posts.
You'll be missed.
-
I think its a case of them not being very interesting/fun to play. It doesn't matter how strong/balanced a killer is, if they're not fun to play then players won't want to touch them.
We have several lower tier killers who are played more than higher tier killers who are undoubtedly more viable, but they're just not much fun to play e.g. Artist, Krasue, Twins, Singularity etc.
Fun is always the leading reason people play killers. Who wants to play a killer they're not enjoying.

i didnt mention stunning him in response to your reply, i implied that predropping adds almost nothing to the chase against him.
I wasn't addressing you. I was quoting SoGo. You can see that in my post.

Well, that is arguable.
The main counterplay you have is stunning him, which is pretty hard considering the speed he has.
As for the visual warnings.... eh? He gets the glowing knife (awful choice, looks bad), but I would appreciate the pop-up like his old power had?
You don't need to stun him. Just drop the pallet. He gets a base kit enduring so it's not like the stun sets him back dramatically as opposed to just dropping the pallet and forcing him to break it.
I would prefer the old tier 3 animation too but I think the glowing knife is fine as it's still quite easy to see. Not that you need it since you get several audio queues that let you know he reached tier 3. You get one for when he's stalking, then another when he's reached maximum stalk, then another when he activates tier 3.
I can't think of another killer who gives out as much warning information about their power. With old school Mikey you had no idea how close he was to tier 3, or if he's even stalked anyone yet besides him reaching tier 2 at the start of a match.

predropping a pallet vs majority other killers doesnt = instantly destroying a pallet without an active perk. he is NOT perfectly fine.
Blight, Billy, Bubba, Oni etc can all break pallets with their power without requiring a perk. Michael being able to do it is not an issue either.
-
Mikey is just fine the way he is. He is finally viable now while still having plenty of counterplay. You get both audio and visual warnings for his power. You pre drop pallets just like you do against multiple killers in this game.
He's a sold B tier. He's not even a contender for any changes required. Plenty of other killers out there with real issues, whether being too weak or too over tuned, that need attention. Michael isn't one of them.

Not a Dweet main, I swear :D
If it ain't Dwight it ain't right!
-
Chaos shuffle. A refreshing break from the stale meta.
-
Mine is so clear cut. Dweet is my boy. Always will be.

I play the twins fairly often. There is also the twins main girl, lynxi. We both do what we can.
I love Lynxi. She's so sweet and wholesome and absolutely amazing with those Victor snipes.
-
I quite like;
- The Mikey rework
- The abandon option
- The stats page (even though its not entirely accurate sometimes)
- The anti camp meter being visible to the other survivors
- Its cool to have FNAF and TWD in the game even though there was problems with the launch of the latter
-
They do a health update that is actually worthwhile this time.
-
She's default with level 1 Technician. That's a new player if ever I saw one.
Cut her some slack. We were all like this once.
-
Happy new year everyone π₯
-
After 2025 I feel like the only way is up.
-
Yeah I had one last night. A fellow team mate who trapped myself and another team mate inside lockers. The killer couldn't get us out. Then held us all hostage in end game. The killer couldn't even abandon. We had to close our games.
-
Merry Christmas everyone π π
-
Trapper, Ghostface, Hag.
-
Merry Christmas, everyone.
-
If the loss of Pinhead and Stranger Things is anything to go by then no. He'll be keeping everything he has, Halloween theme music and all.
-
I literally just pointed at a snowman to a team mate and they hopped in it.
-
Mikey's the reason I got into Dbd in the first place.
It sucks. I just hope they get the license back again soon.
-
I was all hyped for the new Halloween game, even with the less than reputable people behind it, I am a sucker for new Mikey content.
But now I hope the game bombs and the license holders have to go crawling back to Bhvr.
-
Its official. 2025 is the worst year of Dbd so far.
Halloween is their og license. It put Dbd on the map. This is so sad.

From my POV for example it was just boring hit and run playstyle with wallhacks. Not strong against smart survivors and not meme.
That's fine. But whether you find it boring or not is beside the point. If they started neutering everything that some people find boring then most of the killers and the meta would be unusable. The add on is only viable on an indoor map. Otherwise it's an iri add on that's worthless.
So it's not unreasonable to grant it guaranteed indoor map if you use it.

Completely disagree, like I said prior - they should have made the map offerings map bans.
Making each map 20% is an inconsistent change. Either retire them completely or make them map bans - neither side should have any decision to bring each other to a specific map. You have one side complaining about Garden of Joy, Badham, and Eyrie of Crows.
Then you have the other side complaining about Midwich, Fallen Refuge (I particularly despise this map), and Hawkins (whatever maps you can think of here.)
Just because you are deciding to play Scratch Mirror Myers does not mean that you should be hand delivered an indoor map. You can talk about specific changes you would want to compensate for indoor maps being less selective, but I am glad that map offerings are now gone to prevent a killer bringing me to a specific map - similar, to a killer feeling the same when survivors would bring them to Garden of Joy or Badham.
Scratched mirror is a meme build played for jump scares. It's not in the same category as survivors burning maps like Badham and Eyrie. When survivors or players in general burn maps like that they are playing for maximum advantage to win.
The scratched mirror add on doesn't work without an indoor map. So to compare it to map offerings in general is silly because generally map offerings are used to get extra advantage. If Myers players want to win they're not going to be turning to scratched mirror. You play that for the memes and fun of jump scares.
YouTube is loaded with videos of players' reactions to getting jump scared by scratched mirror Mikeys because that's why people play it. For the laughs. Something that's rare to see in this game any more sadly.

I'm chill. It's a simple question. Also I'm not in the defense here, but looks like you are.
This community can do better. YOU can do better.
Of course I am in the defense. You take the time to call me out on a harmless joke. There's nothing wrong with it. I don't need to do better with anything. Save the pep talk for something that is actually problematic.
@MrDardon Apologies for the derail of your topic. I won't respond to this person again.
-
An easy solution for scratched mirror is to make it so it guarantees an indoor map if he equips it.

Why is this community so focused on sex, nudity, and suggestive content?
Ok chill it was just a joke. Anyone familiar with me knows in my 8 years here they could count on one hand the number of times I've made that sort of humor.
Not that there's anything wrong with it.
-
Admit it, you all would be fighting about who gets to go into that bed with Mikey.
-
I actually use both. But if I had to choose one it would be Bond. Dwight's finest.

Iβm aware, but Lerys is especially awful.
It does have more annoying structures, but every type of killer has maps they struggle on. For example stealth killers generally don't do as well on open maps because they're easier to see coming.
-
The PTB version wasn't very good. He actually had more nerfs than buffs. He received his current buffs post PTB.
Mikey is just fine the way he is. He's a solid B tier killer now. You get plenty of auditory and visual warnings for when he's using his power.

Stealth/Trap sure. Dash, Projectile or Mobility Characters. Its pure hell.
That goes for indoor maps in general though.

Hear hear. I never liked the bubble even back in the old days.
