Or maybe we should claim these "fashion-statements" back, saying we won't tolerate these types to even say what we can or can't wear?
-
I never bothered looking up what luck does but to me it should obviously increase chances for better items and bigger skillcheck-zones where the added part is placed in the "great"-part
I'm kinda disappointed it only influences the chances to unhook yourself even if i never use these offerings
-
Call me oldfashioned, but I don't think dabbing your way through the gates would fit the game.
It's called "Dead by Daylight". Not Fortnite.

Wouldn't that be too late? What use is it to see everyone's perks during the loading screen? You won't remember 4 perks on 3 different people and you cannot change your own perks anymore.
I'm not against it but I'd rather see the other survivors' perks in the lobby.
I'm sure I'd remember some key perks such as deliverance or build who would only benefit that sole survivor. I like the idea.
Seeing the perks in lobby is just to powerful

Why is your pfp Doctor
Because it was my first main killer. Always seemed to struggle to find the survivors. Doc showed my their habits so he'll always have a special place in my heart

I’ve never heard of Hunt:Showdown. I will have to look it up 😊
Binding of Isaac is the first game that got me into Roguelike games. They’ve really taken off! I love them.
Hunt is awesome, we should form a team ;)
-
I feel like ghostface and wraith should be switched with billie and doc
Why?
-ghostface is basically a teenboy
- wraith doesn't know what legday is
- billie, if I recall correctly killed all cattle with his club ... Those skulls are thick man!
- doc always seemed huuuge to me, never got why but man those guns!
-
I've never seen a post where the replies were so on the same side!
Mid MMR for life! :D

I would be all for a rework that made the conditions for opening hatch more difficult while still allowing team hatch escapes to be a possibility. It was a fun objective that added variety to the gameplay and shouldn't have been completely abandoned
What about having to find a number of relic-fragments as a team. Add lots of chests (mostly empty and take longer to open). Perks to get items from an empty chest don't give fragments and would need a long downtime ofcourse
-
I actually think the key is still pretty strong just because it's so low-key now (get it ;) )
If I have/found a key and ma the last survivor, I try to spy out where the killer is going from afar and when the countdown starts, I know I have all the time in the world to reopen it and make an easy escape since the killer will just be checking the gates back and forth
-
I must admit the general posture of our buff males is a reason I mostly play female survivors. Not that strong in chase so I try to sneak around
-
Ryan Reynolds, how many cool skins he could have if not trademarked
Or maybe Scarlett Johansson, for obvious reasons
-
Bikini skin
-
Oh yeah! Perk: scooby snacks - every 8 seconds of uninterupted gen repair gives you 1 scooby snack. Get 10 scooby snacks when the endgame starts and you can set a trap which will tie the killer to a chair and rip off their mask to reveal it was 1 of the survivors not in play all along.
-
Usually my opinion in these cases is basically: "suck it up", but you really got a very very short end of the stick here.
A possible mechanic I thought about before, which might be somewhat a solution of somekind is this: if someone gets 2nd hook without any other survivor being hit during the game (I'm talking about hooked not suicides), the amount of time in 2nd stage should be upped expontentionally to the number of gens left + an amount of tries to escape the hook by yourself without any penalty at anytime equal to those gens left.
This combo would also prevent camping (because to time consuming, on 5 or 4 gens left this should about always mean at least 3 escapes) and with the killer leaving, the victim can have his tries whenever he/she feels like it is safe enough

Haha survivor Vic. xD I do agree though, he's a cutie. I would LOOOOVE BHVR to give him cosmetics, he would be so adorable.
Can you imagine him as a little sailor :p
-
I feel quite bad for you and am wondering what happened to make you shift this hard from good survivor to bad survivor and same for killer.
From the survivor's side, teamwork goes only so far. You need to survive, if that means throwing teammates under the bus so be it. I only think it's sad that this is a plan A instead of plan C
Being bad killer I can get somewhat better since it's about the side's objectives but even there there could be some honor in it ... Also plan A and B,C,...
-
Victor!
Not only is he alive, he can run really fast and has a jumping range even professionals can only dream about. He's the one true survivor in the game to me, hence also the cutest!
-
I agree with numbers 2, 4 and 5
However number 5 could become a relic hunt playing a bit too much in the killer's hand.
If by number 3 you mean that the killer could set up a trap so he/she gets a warning (alarm or something) that could be fun. But I feel like the killer should only be able to set up this trap manually and when no1 is hooked in the basement
-
Yes! Omg yes! Feels like x-mass!!!
-
Strongly disagree!
Maybe you try not to tunnel, but A LOT of killers do ... You don't want to remind them who's the target at all time
I solo q most time and love teams mimicking 1 skin just to try and rule intentional tunneling out and even that's not a guarantee

they have no faith, they know they´re not good enough to win that game or they´re just tired of the game, but they want to play it, they want to have fun, or they´re bad, or maybe they wanna to poop sooo hard, remember, we are all humans with real life problems, but i still dislike when it happens
Ah yes, those surprise-poops can really get to you!
-
In this case: no, it's just bad gameplay by the killer putting all eggs in 1 basket.
However I get why a lot of builds hold at least 1 or 2 of these perks. Example: when I play killer I usually put in bbq&chili just to see where we're at in the game, is someone coming to the rescue, do certain gens need a quick intervention etc. Only real exception I make is with plague but you can be sure I'll be watching you whenever you vomit. Same reasons there
-
Nope, you're a good survivor dealing with a killer who has a bad mood. Don't let it get to you! <3
-
Huntress, not willing to struggle with the axes and getting made fun in postchat for it
-
Tyrion from GOT, but also would love to see him paired with Joffrey. You'd always get mixed feelings seeing him killed, right?
+ Would pair great with a white walker/ direwolf or the mountain as killer
-
Sure I don't like being bled out, but I don't expect killers to smile in delight when I use lithe to take off ... This isn't a game about being nice to another, it's about getting tortured to death and smacking pallets against teeth to prevent that from happening.
I always try to play as nice as possible both as killer and survivor, but expecting everyone to act like that is just a utopian desire

It doesn‘t help you much. 20s later, after the first one got distroyed, another survivors runs right past it and distroys the other one.
Depends how hidden it is and where it’s located.
I get your argument, but to me, it seems valid for all ideas regarding this subject, except for making the totems indestructible which doesn't seem fair for neither side to me either
-
I'd love a beast-like killer: a bear, werewolf, hellhound, ... Whatever'll growl at me and wants to tear me to shreds really
I'd even be happy with beast with Belle as the survivor counterpart ;)
-
Isn't undying kind of there to make sure the hexes are kept intact for a longer time?

I was thinking about this the other day and in game voice chat would be cool but only if it worked when in earshot of each other.
Think about it, you could share information with a team mate but you'd have to be close enough to talk to them rather than just announcing over discord all the information other players need to coordinate.
So many things in game are hard countered simply by being on comms it almost ruins the fun for both sides.
Yeah the sad truth is relinquishing control over who has the ability to talk to you, coupled with the anonymity and the ability to engage in just plain disgusting behaviour anonymously. Means I often turn off most in game voice chat when playing in a PUG.
I like MWO's system where I can mute other players individually so that one guy who's screaming at everyone like an armchair general can just be silenced while still enabling me to hear the team.
I think built in chat would shine if it had an element of realism to it.
If you'd introduce the nearby option, it'd be only fair to also introduce the possibility to hear survivors for the killer at the same range. But in that case you're giving away the position of hiding survivors, certainly if they have some background noise (such as the babymonitor which is active during most of my games playing white noise) :D
So nice theory but I don't see this working personaly

I would 100% disable this feature if it came to the game. Thanks but no thanks.
Besides, it wouldn't work so well on European and Asian servers anyway, since there will be lobbies with multiple different languages. If we're going to have added comms, I'd much prefer BHVR add a few more simple gestures beyond the pointing and come here gestures we currently have.
I don't even use these 2, and I'm about 95% of the time playing solo :p

Forget the shrine. Perks should be purchased from the Store just as individual characters are.
500 AC / 9000 IS for a character.
160 AC / 2900 IS for a perk. (discounted from the character cost if you later choose to buy them, e.g. you buy a perk for 2900 IS, that character now costs 7100 IS for you, but still 500 AC. Or you buy a perk for 160 AC, characternow costs 340 AC, or 7100 IS.)
Licensed characters perks can be bought for IS, after a few months (considering they can be in the Shrine anyway)
Then have the Shrine as a way to get random weekly perks at a discount for 2000 IS.
Yeah I'd be in favor of a shop-like system where you can just buy all (older) perks for IS with some of them on sale each week aswell. Could've made some of my friends who quit big fans imo
-
Nit quite what you asked but I once was treated very rudely because I played Bill and didn't use borrowed time. It was maybe my 5th game ever so was still kinda figuering out the good perks ... I'm still glad he died because of my noobyness

the reporter shouldn't be a baby
That's toxic
How's that toxic? I don't think a report saying "you ######### this game up" should be looked into for consequences. However a "you f* piece of #########, I hope you get hooked for real" and stuff like that ... Now that's something else.
Lifting the censorship would increase reporting ... Which could only work if the reports get to be filtered because otherwise it'd be way way way to timeconsuming
-
I think this is a fun add-on. Once the survivors figure out this add-on is in play it could be very benefitial for them. Miss the shot and huntress is close to useless...
Because of this only good huntresses use it imo, so I do get why it feels unfair sometimes ... From that perspective maybe the time to charging the throw or getting the hatchets could be increased, but overall: fun game changing add-on
-
@Pulsar said:
Because some people literally couldn't help themselves and absolutely had to spam slurs and other horrific #########.
The few ruin it for the many, be upset with them.
Shouldn't reporting help right there? You can use the same filter they're using now to censor to automatically filter which reports should be looked at and in which the reporter shouldn't be a baby

Once you hit the half way point of bleeding out then it should activate.
I like this
-
Win: I had fun/ completed a challenge
Draw: it was just ok
Loss: should've done something else with my time
This worls on both sides for me. The rest are details
-
I like how you said "sry about the rant" in the 2nd part to just keep raging!
Now I'm not trolling, I do hear you, but that made me lol :)
-
Why? I'm only going to talk surv to keep this post limited to a 2 hour read:
Kindred is general, start with Bill to get left behind and bt or Meg to sprintburst and adrenaline. After grinding one level on 1 of these characters you can move to the other and you've got a decent set of perks
+ If I remember correctly just getting started and doing the tutorial gives a lot of bp to get you going. Sure it's overwhelming at the start but every starter character has at least one nice perk I still frequently use:
-dwight: prove thyself
- meg/bill: see above
- claudette: selfcare
- david: deadhard
-
I like tapping, both as killer and surv.
Is it worth going back to the gen and kick/tap it? Both hold risks for both sides. Adds just a smidge of strategy depending on where you're at that game
-
I like Chucky, nothing as fun as doing a quick u-turn around a tree when you hear the yell coming and seeing them hit that tree or just go straight past it.
Also love the attitude, killer's not yo friend yall!
-
Really like: Chucky, Wesker, plague, demo, twins
Really dislike: skull merchant, legion and hellraiser
Reasons for dislike are about all the same for all killers in that category for me: the games just seem to be so endlessly stretched out sometimes that it becomes a funsponge
Rest are ok
-
Yep, this is a hard one because it's such a personal subject. So here's me 2cents, I'm not saying this is the correct answer because there isn't any:
I'd say the killer should have at least 6 hooks with min one on each survivor or 2/3 kills if the escapee didn't got through hatch.
For survivors I'd base myself on the points in endgame evaluation, best players should have max the double of the weakest (keeping escapes in mind). I think an average of 20k is about right. And at least 1 should get out through the gates.
Nothing against hatch-escapes, but they can be a big sign the match was unbalanced
-
Hello mister sunshine! Enough people seem to like and care about this game. You posting gives me a clue you do aswell :)

Could be trying to do "blind the killer" tome challenges and not willing to play out a whole game unable to do that. I've been there. Haven't DC'd over it but it's a bummer.
Indeed, not worth to dc but worth a big sigh
