Nice pc elitism you got here. PC Isn’t the only place with good survivors or the only platform that matters. Then again, some people will try to find any reason to invalidate someone’s opinion.
Not even PC elitism, the amount of control you get with a keyboard and mouse compared to a controller is unreal, if you told me that you did all that on a PC I wouldn't believe you, I will believe you however on a console. Believe me I've been there, you can't argue that point any further.

Best proof I can give you is screenshots (which you won’t believe) since I’m not allowed to record/stream my gameplay.
I fail to see how it is a “bold claim”, you can do good once you learn how to play certain killers, some killers just require different strategies to do well (kinda like how survivors have to adapt to different killers).
Btw, if ruin is required then people would never 4K without it, saying it is kinda shows that you probably (I say probably because you might actually be good) aren’t as good as you think. I have no proof that you are good at the game so I’m gonna go with my gut and assume you aren’t.
You claim that you regularly 4k with LF using no addons and not using ruin, however what I didn't notice is you playing console.
Try that on PC and you will get demolished quite quickly, claim anything you want on console and I'll believe it.

I regularly 4K without add ons as LF, don’t use ruin. It is the truth, your choice to not believe it.
Show proof then, I don't believe you for a second. Making bold claims like that without a SHRED of proof to back that up makes me inclined to go with my gut and not believe you.
oh yikes you play on console that explains it lol

If you play at red ranks without ruin just expect to have a hard time, regardless of how long Ruin lasts you need to run it to stand a chance at slowing the game down so you can try and win.
It does make me laugh when people post their screenshots of them stomping red rank survivors with less perks/addons or whatever because this doesn't actually prove anything. You can easily hash it off as a one off game because I'm not going to sit there and believe you regularly 4k games with crappy perks and addons with a low/mid tier killer.

Doesn't help when Nurse and Spirit can break the game and turn the Survivors best assets and use it against them, all I fight is Spirit nowadays and I've gotten better at playing against her but I feel like with her you never really get better at playing against her more so you learn to take 'better' guesses against her.
Because that's all the Spirit is, a guessing game, if you want to stop seeing them buff the weaker killers.

That last one happened to me a couple days ago, ran the Hag around for a good 5 minutes while Kate hid behind a tree the entire time waiting for me to die for an easy hatch.
You better believed I walked to her location and set the Hag on her.

Reduce the range he can be detected at and or increase the amount of time it takes to actually reveal him because sometimes it can be a bit stupid to just get instantly revealed.
- From the wiki: This means the Ghost Face has to be out of the Survivor's sight for 0.3 seconds to stop being revealed.
- If a Survivor spotted the Ghost Face for 1.2 seconds or more before he hid from them, he'll be revealed anyway.
1.2 seconds is way too quick and there you go that's your ENTIRE power gone just like that, an actual blink and you'll miss it moment.

Inability to use a window more than once makes killers broken?
It's what comes afterwards that makes killers broken if that was the case, imagine being only able to loop every window once, it removes a lot of potential to mindgame people all because bamboozle is now baseline? Just simply vault the window and now they can't use it again. Windows in this game are already really jank and you end up getting hit through most of them even when you shouldn't anyway.
-
He's an extremely weak killer with no map pressure or gen pressure, his chainsaw however promotes a camping playstyle, so if you see 2-3 gens done with the Leatherface not being able to get a single hook you can guarantee that when he does get one they won't be getting back off.
-
If bamboozle was a baseline effect it would make killers so broken and the gap is being closed more and more, it would turn the shack into a one loop scenario and make a lot of other loops obsolete, removing counterplay against killers and making it so no matter how well you play you gotta waste those pallets.
-
And yet he still insists that Blood Lodge is unbeatable as killer.
-
I can't believe the ability to kill survivors off one hook exists in this game.
*laughs in dull key*

@Cyro your point about tru3 is correct, but it doesn't mean killers are op in some situations. You are using examples of him making mistakes. That shows that both sides never play 100% optimally. Therefore even though what you say is true about that video of tru3's, you can't use it in an argument for killer's are overpowered in some situations. This is also dependent on like you say how the survivors play. There are way to many variables. I am also not saying your opinion is wrong at all, if you personally have experienced games where the killer has no counter play at all, you have the right to your opinion. You also have to remember the positives that come out of the matches as well. Sometimes you will be paired against a group when killer that make the match intense and interesting cause both sides give the same amount of mistakes which can make it interesting to watch. Compared to the killer never making mistakes and the survivors making mistakes. You know who is going to win and vice versa. Those games where you barley outplay your opponent as well are highlights.
I hope this makes some sense for what I am trying to say. Hope you have a good day/night
That is correct, both sides never play 100% optimally, but I was more touching up on the fact that Tru3 tends to be outspoken about his opinions and due to his influence as a big player in Dead by Daylight he has a lot of power to give proper thought out opinions and create discussions on how the game should be. But he tends to be emotionally driven at the same time which creates situations where he is being 100% biased towards killers without even thinking about survivors which is generally the problem I have with him. I do think in that scenario of him playing the Plague does put her power on display considering he made a lot of mistakes but the survivors in that scenario paid more for their mistakes compared to Tru3 while being at red ranks.
But I do see where you're coming from when I stated that certain killers can be overpowered in some situations. I do agree with you though that I do get thrills out of certain games and the matches can be really intense and close and hard fought, for me most of the time as survivor I'd be happy if at least one person escapes, sometimes I don't mind straight up losing as a survivor if the match was hard fought on both sides but this is becoming more and more rare as the game balance shifts drastically and issues not being addressed.

What are.you happy with, and what irks you?
I read good, insightful ideas every day on this forum, along with some garbage ideas too.
Post yours!
I'm happy with how the game became more balanced for both sides (even if it took them years to do so) so that both sides stand a chance to win, but I think the more and more issues in this game aren't addressed the more difficult it becomes to eventually balance it fairly for both sides. I'm also happy about the fact that they are trying to address the issues, I just hope they are addressing the proper issues first. Obviously you know what irks me in my rant but I'll touch up on things I didn't mention in the rant here.
Maps in my opinion need a good looking at as well, certain maps can destroy certain killers but some maps can completely go in a killers favour, and some maps can be littered with safe pallets and some can be littered with unsafe pallets. I think that there should be more consistency with maps so that it can be more balanced for both sides.
I'm still thinking of ideas on how to make this game more fair/fun for both sides while also trying to be realistic about it rather than just throwing out a bad idea that won't go anywhere, but like I said it is becoming a more difficult thing to do as the game progresses and more perks/maps/addons/offerings/killers/survivors get added, a lot of variables to consider.

Hey I’m not a fan of using someone else vids to try to make a point. What I wanna read is your experience playing match’s. Why you feel the way you do and how you come to your conclusion. Based on your time playing. =p hope you take me up on it and I’ll be glad to read it in full.
My experience playing matches in this game and I play at mainly red ranks is that how a lot of people describe this game isn't strictly true, I used his videos as an example because he is the most popular Dead by Daylight player and a lot of people listen to him. My point was to point out that he does make a lot of mistakes across his killer games and that people should actually try to form their own opinions about the game and work together so that we can come up with proper balance for this game.
I see a lot of people throwing out random ideas but they never get taken anywhere because they are quickly dismissed, like a secondary objective for survivors so gens don't get completed too quickly, while I see this idea being tossed out a lot nobody ever really comes up with an idea as to what this objective could be. I think that's because a lot of people in the Dead by Daylight forums tend to complain and scream rather than band together and work out good changes for this game, I have spotted a few threads that have this goal in mind but they seem to be a rare thing.
I'm not trying to gloat or anything when I describe my experience with Dead by Daylight at mainly red ranks but I do tend to win most of my games, granted I do lose games as well due to my own mistakes with viable/meta builds. I do play a lot of Ghost Face and Huntress, used to be mainly Nurse but I started to get really bored of her. I rarely run into these killer games where I get gen rushed 4-5 minutes in and I instantly lose the game without an ounce of offense from me the killer. I think it's because Tru3 gets sniped a lot and his opinion tends to get more soured when he bumps into these snipers more and more.
I came to my conclusions and opinions because of well my experience in this game, like I said I mainly play at red ranks and I'm forming my opinions based off of me playing at those ranks. But I also pay attention to the survivor side and frequently play at red ranks there as well. And I try to be fair and consider the strengths of both sides and try to come up with ways to balance both sides while remaining fair, but the way I see it certain things that certain killers have access to can heavily shift the game, but survivors ALSO have access to these things. However I think a lot of people have the opinion of survivors will always gen rush you at red ranks due to people like Tru3 streaming live for hours on end constantly bumping into teams, it will happen eventually but I don't think it is as common (from my experience) as people will have you believe.
I also think certain aspects need buffs of course, like some of the killers genuinely not being viable at certain ranks without the use of addons, something I covered in my rant. Addons in my opinion as well as items should be small benefits to you/your team if you're a survivor and not completely turning the tide of certain games, it should be skill based and not because you have a certain item.

Also please stop de-pipping on purpose, it ruins the games for newer players.
-
Redacted.
-
In short, just play how you want to play the game at the end of the day.
-
I feel you. I've actually been trashed in this game simply just for playing it. I have a few stories if you're interested in a read. I'm a killer main. I'm rank 2 right now and oh boy once you get into these ranks you meet some of the biggest ######### this game has to offer.
I was doing the event hoping to get the pro-pain weapon for Hillbilly. Everyone in my random lobby had used Barbecue offerings. So I just played the game how I normally do and I won. Of course comes the end game chat, of course they were with a SWF group but that's besides the point. I got completely trash talked at the end of the game for simply PLAYING it and not letting them get points. They were extremely altruistic and would crowd around me the moment I hook someone not even letting me blink away. Of course I got hate for patrolling hooks when I knew for a fact that they were right there hiding. I took some screenshots as it goes because I wanted to solidify this moment.

Another time when I prestieged my Nurse I faced a crap ton of hate for seemingly no reason. I played a Rank 2 game with nothing but one perk because I really like the Nurse, so people of course called me completely trash and a loser because of this. I had done nothing to them, no tunneling no nothing. People are toxic because they choose to be. If you're a killer play this game how YOU want to play this game.
-
I feel you, but it's completely random. Reminds me of when I was trying to get BBQ&C on my Nurse, damn thing didn't appear for ages until it finally appeared.
-
Once you get good at Nurse you really don't need NOED, so I'd stay away from using it, you'll get hard bodied for your first games but you will become better because of it.
-
I prefer Monitor and Abuse because when you are just looking around sometimes you might see a survivor so I like to get in close and pretend I don't see them for the free hit, then get the free blink down on them. And Monitor and Abuse messes around with their perception of the terror radius, so if they run to the end of your radius and heal you will be able to see them with Nurse's Calling. Allowing you to get a free down, the amount of Rank 1's I see falling for this is unreal.
-
I'd stay away from things that add extra blinks if you are new to the Nurse. Because you first want to develop your muscle memory for her as she is all about the muscle memory, and MOST addons can mess around with your memory if you aren't a skilled enough Nurse to adapt to it, which most beginner Nurse players aren't. Of course Barbecue and Chilli is an amazing perk on the Nurse, Nurse's Calling is also a really good one. Make your Choice is another good perk as the Nurse is extremely fast to the point where she can capitalise on the exposed survivor. At the end of the day though BBQ&C and Nurse's Calling is a must run in my opinion. The other two perks is just your choice at the end of the day, I think of them as quality of life changes. I run Nurse's Calling/BBQ&C/Monitor and Abuse (because pulling people off generators is really fun) and the extra FoV is nice too/Make your Choice (sometimes I switch this perk out for Ruin but I rarely do that as I don't like running hex perks). I recommend addons that increase your max blink distance if you are new.
Sorry for the wall of text.
