It just isn't a fun mode because all of the try hard killers who aren't confident enough without playing with their massive slow down builds. 2 out of 3 matches killers just proxy camp the hook and go straight for the tunnel. I did all of the tome challenges and won't be touching again.. If I get tunneled in regular mode at least I have DS and OTR for back up

Dude, Thanks a bunch! There's still over 2000 keys left guys. It only took about 3 minutes to make an account and get the key code. Why they make the keys available for only a day is ridiculous though. I'm guessing there will be a few more times to grab one so k keep a look out

The FOMO argument just doesnt make sense to me. I still don't quite get why a limited edition virtual T-shirt is such a hard thing for people to pass up on... The hilarious part to me is, it's not like you even own it, even if you do buy it. You merely are renting it for life, as the moment you die, your account is lost and all your content goes with it. This is standard across all online media purchases.
In the real world, diamonds are the biggest market manipulation example that's ever existed. They're actually extremely common, but the amount released to the market keeps their value up. The people who own the diamond mines have such an excess, they actually burn them like coal.
Thing is, people still buy them, and we're talking about thousands of pounds/dollars... If you don't agree with this market manipulation, guess what? You can just not buy them... I respect anyone reading this post enough to trust you are able to handle the decision on whether spend £3000 of your savings on a lump of carbon or not, and by the same token being able to handle deciding to buy a £5 limited edition gnome hat in Dead By Daylight.
A limited edition skin at seasonal holidays is not something you are entitled to have just because you want it. If the item is too expensive, you should have the self control to accept it... and it's better you learn this now before you have to make some really hard decisions.
I never have understood it myself.. I guess it messes with people OCD or something. These online service games are so over bloated with cosmetics as is even if you miss one there will be plenty of opportunities to get others. I have 35 pages worth of charms that I don't even care about

I have never played another game where the devs struggle putting out major update patches like BHVR... Remember last year's anniversary patch? The console players were left with a game that was pretty much unplayable for months due to frame drops, lag, and rubber banning. Seems these things always happen when anniversary is looming

The charm has to be completely random RNG at this point. All the clues seem to point that gameplay has nothing to do with it and it's a random day to day occurrence if you get..

I feel the same, I also have everything you said. As well as owning the game on multiple platforms (steam, epic, switch, ps4, ps5) so as a completionist this is annoying. Hell I even paid $60 for both the killer and survivor editions for the two charms. Sad.
Those two charms are the only ones I don't have but at least I know how to obtain them if I want them at some point. Hopefully we all get the Sadako charm but BHVR being so quiet about it isn't helping

This whole ordeal has soured my mood to play the game completely. I have every charm through all rifts, dlc, logins, and codes so this is annoying as hell. Punish the people who spend time and money on the game but give charm to people who hardly play the game doesn't make much sense to me

I purchased on day of release and nothing. If this is the case of unlocking it sounds like it's bugged unless you need to open game at the hour you purchased dlc. Nothing makes sense since people who haven't bought chapter got charm.. hopefully we get some answers soon

I don't believe there is a secret method at this point. It's a completely random day to day login event or it's bugged.. Too many people who hardly play the game or didn't buy dlc got it so gameplay doesn't look like it triggers the scene.. this has been insanely frustrating for me because I login and play everyday still nothing no matter what I do.. hopefully they just do codes from now on

I have personally played a killer and survivor game everyday besides one time due a super busy day at work since new chapter release. It has to be bugged but we can't get an answer because BHVR want to keep this a miserable secret

The fact their saying there is a way to trigger the secret scene is what annoys me the most.. How have people who have not logged in for months or bought the chapter get it but people who spend time and money on the game don't.. they didn't think this over well especially if it's only a limited time deal

Just logged in and still nothing. Saw on Twitter and reddit that some folks got the charm today so it look like it's still obtainable at least. Maybe it will happen during this random log in rewards at some point. This has been such a headache that I don't even feel like playing the game

Same maybe more, during the around the campfire live steam deathbygiggles talked about the charm. This was around the 18 minute mark. From what I understand, the cursed tape should appear after 7 days from chapter release. Unless I misunderstood. So maybe it is bugged for some people?
If that's the case BHVR must not know the requirements because it would have unlocked for most people on Tuesday. I'm feeling like it's a bug and we may get left out.. Nobody from BHVR can give any sort of info on this? I guess at this point I need to send in a ticket and see what happens since we can't get an answer here

I purchased Sadako on the 8th when she was released, right from the PSN store. Still have not gotten the charm, thats why a lot of people think this is bugged
Still hasn't happened for me and I bought chapter day one. Wish BHVR would post requirements on how to get it or say if it's bugged or not. This charm is driving people crazy

Been awhile since I posted here because I misplaced my password and just made a new account and everything because of the confusion on how to obtain this charm. I bought the full chapter day one on PSN store and can not get the scene to trigger for nothing. I logged in everyday besides Saturday and maybe Sunday too so maybe you have to log in 7 days straight to get charm..... I have every single charm besides the exclusive ones like the fog whispers program so it would be annoying to not get this one so can the devs chime in on how to obtain it or if it's bugged for some folks please

I will play DBD on PS5 over PS4 if the game runs better. I could care less about graphics to be honest, it's all about the game play for me
I don't plan to buy a PS5 this year though so gonna wait and see

Derank and burn a Hawkins map. I was able to get all of my adepts easily on that map.
It's not worth trying to get killer adepts in red ranks. It's just way too tedious and rage inducing since you will be playing SWF constantly who stack DS

I turned it off.. It's pointless until the devs optimize console, which is probably never gonna happen at this point

I turned it off after about 5 games total. PC players have way too much of an advantage over console killers and survivors.
I was playing against 4 PC survivors on Lery's and it was insane how much the frames were dropping

It's awful. Every single game is a lag fest.. I turned it off after 5 games and have noticed no queue differences

When I make attempts towards this trophy I use Devour Hope tier 3 because it lights up as soon as you're 24 meters away the hook. Camp the hook with your hatchet and let it go as soon as you see unhook notification... I personally have better luck hitting the unhooker most times so IR head may not be a bad idea.. Maybe you can try to initiate farming games too but it hardly ever works out for me
Yeah, I know it's a pretty scummy tactic but this trophy is ridiculous at 100 downs when it's 20 on Xbox and Steam.

MMR was not an improvement. Why do red ranks ALWAYS get stuck with a brown rank.
My team almost got a 4 out vs a red rank killer but there was a Nea that did nothing the entire game. Think she finished with 4000 points or something.
