So many things in this game worth complaining about and 4% imo isn't one of them
I think anything reliant on RNG in this game is just moronic.
Map RNG is stupid, Random unhooks are stupid, random keys are stupid, escaping traps on first try is stupid, escaping traps NEVER is stupid, taking off RBTS first box is stupid, survivors randomly spawning split on 4 gens or all in one place is stupid.
-
I just think making cypress mori basekit would be a good change. If the last survivor goes down they're screwed anyways, might as well let the killer spice it up a bit. Would also allow challenges that require killing survivors or straight up moring people be plausible without just mori off first hook.
-
I still honestly think BHVR made their bed on this one. Add ons are all related to children and the lore literally states he was dead before Charlotte was a teenager. I'm not gonna actually make a claim so I don't get banned just gonna leave that information out there. Also fun fact, conjoined twins biologically can not have different sexes.
-
Just fully revert the basekit and remove overheat. The only issue with billy was dumb addon combos like instasaw and crack billy. Overheat to me just removes the most fun thing that I found with billy. Sprinting everywhere and throwing out random chainsaws until something landed.
-
Not a bannable offense. It's 4 minutes maximum I am confident you can deal with that.
-
Hiya! Red rank blah blah hours killer here. But I have played almost no billy, the way I did this was using the speed limiter. If you REALLY struggle with this one you can always farm with survivors to get it easier.
-
For survivor there's the all time classic, the Houdini build. For this number you'll need Iron Will, Quick and Quiet, Lithe and Dance With Me. The trick here is to enter a chase then vault a window when the killer has no line of sight. With the silent vault, 150 speed and no scratch marks you'll seemingly vanish into thin air!
-
I can't endorse it because they pulled the same "Make a stupid god window and put a breakable wall next to it" two times in that main building.
-
While doing that challenge I managed to 4k with a speed limiter. No idea how.
-
I have had the honor of going down to Tofu's Billy's chainsaw. I got destroyed.
-
They both need to go. I personally think keys are worse for one reason alone. They can be randomly found throughout the match. If you see a mori you know "Oh killer is sweaty I should be too" If you see a key in the lobby you know "Okay survivors are sweating I should too" but finding a key in a chest is a LITERAL random chance at an insanely powerful instant escape tool. It would be like if hitting a survivor had a 0.5% chance to instantly kill them.

I think only Freddy is a killer that would do it, others are silent types.
Not even him really. DBD Freddy is the 2010 Freddy not the Englund Freddy.
-
I doubt that would be a good idea. It humanizes them too much. The killers are super worked to be monstrous, even the most human looking ones have some horrid deformity or injury that sets them well apart. There's a reason we never hear the Alien from Alien speak. A reason Jason doesn't throw one liners. It just doesn't really fit the tone.
-
I sincerely doubt it's a witch or wendigo or anything like that for a number of reasons. First off both those creatures have a very prominent feature that this one is missing. Big ass claws. This things hand looked pretty much normal other than being all grey and crap and there were definitely not claws. As for "Wendigo" you gotta remember that BHVR would be dealing with sony. Call me crazy but I have trouble buying sony would allow a license to a game they hold exclusive rights to especially with no marketing buildup. I mean they won't give up Bloodborne for gods sakes what makes you think they'll let Until Dawn go. As for the witch, see first argument. More than likely this is an OG character. (Also it's worth mentioning that there has never been a licensed killer with a short teaser like this, they generally have big reveals for marketing purposes.)
-
Killer main here: You can do whatever you want but know that for us DS Unbreakable is incredibly frustrating and unfair as it creates even more lose lose situations for the killer. You can do what you like but killers won't appreciate it.
-
People really underestimate legion. I think a single change that would make him MUCH more dangerous would be to simply increase his speed in frenzy to about 150 or MAYBE 160. As it stands if a legion is more than 16m from you when they start frenzy and you run in a straight line, it is impossible for the legion to catch up in time. Or alternatively make it so he gets a 10% speed increase when he stabs someone up to a 40% bonus. It would make the whole chain stabbing thing much easier.
-
You aren't guaranteed an escape my guy. If the hatch gets shut it should be down to luck if you have another chance at all. You already had your chances to escape. Do gens, if that fails, find hatch. If you lost hatch I'm sorry but you've lost. If you get out through exit gates good for you but it in no way should be a guarantee.
-
Because the only similarity cages of to hooks mechanically is taking a hook state. In every other way they are not hooks and therefore do not proc anything relating to hooks. That means DS, BT, BBQ, WGLF, Blood Warden, Dead Man's Switch, Dying Light, MYC, Pop, Camaraderie, Deliverance, Off the Record, and We'll Make It. NONE of these activate from cages.
-
I have mixed feelings. I do think it's a good change, but I don't like BHVR implementing changes without putting it on the PTB or even announcing it first. They did the same thing with Discordance, just seems a bit off to me.
-
Someone explain why allowing survivors to skip what should be the most difficult part of the game with a key is fine? Someone explain why iribelt is fine. Someone explain why DS Unbreakable is fine. Someone explain why spirit is fine or why object is fine. The answer is that none of them are. All these things INCLUDING moris, are ######### and awful. Yet for some reason the priority ends on nerfing discordance. Welcome to DBD, we all hate it here and nothing makes sense.
-
There is a penalty. If the killer face camps a hook you can just go do gens. Face camping is the killer throwing the entire match for a single kill. The punishment is de pipping and getting almost zero blood points. The ONLY way a killer can be rewarded is if the survivors reward them by throwing themselves at the hook before doing gens.

But if I am on my last hook why should I care? If I'm gonna die anyway then there's no point in fighting. Thats why I'm saying this. It helps to keep hope alive when you're close to death.
If you're on your way to last hook there's a chance your team mates sabo or bodyblock, if you aren't wiggling that will mean nothing. Also you have to remember though that at that point you've had your chances. Your hope was everything leading up until going to final hook.
-
Wiggling is NOT meant to allow survivors escape. The wiggle mechanic exists to prevent a killer from bringing you to the basement every time you go down.
-
Ormond and Haddonfield both exist my friend.

Lullaby change was just to make it consistent so that lullaby doesn't scrws with future features. = Less chances of possible future bugs
And second of I barely saw anyone using Lullaby in fact that not affecting an DS skill check wasn't problematic at all and not affecting Snap out of it anymore isn't that bad too because not everyone runs doctor and you also don't reset the snap out of it meter anymore. So, whatever?
Also, 99% wouldnt run Lullaby at all. Just sayin: Undying, Ruin, Devour, Noed, Haunted Grounds? Way more effective.
And now you have to realize that there is a big yellow aura within your screen. Big nerf.
Oh btw
12% escape rate
The stats BHVR posted are incredibly unreliable. There's simply too many factors to take it seriously. Did the killers bring moris, what rank were the killers, what rank were the survivors, did the survivors bring keys, were there disconnects/suicides, did the killers bring stupid add ons, was either side just ######### around, were the teams farming/memeing. There's no way those stats can be accurate due to how many factors there are.

Killers could just join a game and find The Entitys flame to earn the halo, survivours had to find AND survive while glowing brightly! but Killers Halloween event item being limited shows bias. 🤔 Did The anniversay event show the survivour bias...
pfft.
There's a difference between a cosmetic crown and an item with an actual gameplay effect. Getting a speed boost in chase is HUGE
-
You catch up to the survivors by using your blink. Blink is the entirety of nurse. It's your best movement option, it's your best chase option, it's your best patrol option.
-
I genuinely think now that at high levels Blight is Harder to play than Nurse. Now don't get me wrong I think Nurse is significantly stronger but with Nurse the learning curve is essentially memorizing where the blink will land you and getting used to predicting survivors. For blight though you have to be pretty aware of your surroundings and have to like plan out your movements rather than just going straight to the survivor.
-
Sebastian Castellanos I think would make for a good one.
-
Same question can be asked about keys, moris, OoO, the entirety of Haddonfield and so much other stuff. The answer: Who knows lol
-
Should pop goes the weasel activate after every hit?
-
The issue is in DBD there are WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too many variables for stats like this to mean anything at all. What rank were these survivors, what rank were the killers, were there moris, keys, what addons were used, were people memeing were killers memeing were people afk, were people screwed by DC's the list of stuff that makes theses statistics meaningless goes on and on and on.
-
Q&Q + Dance With Me is gorgeous. Slap Lithe in there and it's even better.
-
Bring detectives hunch. For the price of one perk slot you can completely nullify two of the killers perk slots making the perk ratio of killers to survivor 15:2 if you can't be bothered to actually try to counter it, don't complain about it.
-
There is a punishment for it. It's the fact that by facecamping you aren't stopping other survivors from doing gens. A killer who facecamps a hook is throwing the match for one kill. The punishment is a depip and getting a small amount of BP. A facecamper can only be rewarded for facecamping if survivors decide to moronically throw themselves at the killer. If a killer wins by facecamping every hook then I'm sorry but it's on the survivors for throwing themselves at it instead of finishing gens.
-
Fun Fact: BNP's used to INSTANTLY finish a gen no matter what percent it was at! Imagine 4 survivors bringing that then mid chase you see the survivor you're after snap to a gen and it finishes instantly
-
There's a very rare thing you can do if the killer facecamps. Work on gens. Facecamping is effectively throwing the game for one kill.
-
The issue now is that killers are 100% aware that every second they spend chasing one person is 3 seconds of gen time. If they chase you for 10 seconds that's 30 seconds of gen time. If a killer doesn't they'll be able to down you in a timely fashion the best bet is to just drop the chase. All that's changed is killers realizing how much time they're wasting.
-
just do bones lmao

Oni all day every day
Myers: Completely sacrifices the early game and has to give up on attacking people to build up his power. Power can take ages to build up and once activated gives insta downs, a slight lunge increase and a slight vault speed increase
Oni: Has to attack survivors and be relentless just to get his power up, power becomes usable more and more later into the game as more blood accumulates, once power is activated oni can instadown, move at incredible speeds, down multiple survivors at once, instantly destroy pallets, has an extremely increased lunge distance.
It's not even much of a competition
-
dunno how many times I have to explain this to people. if a bubba is facecamping he can never pip. Facecamping a survivor to death won't even get you a safety pip 90% of the time and unless you were dumb enough to run into basement without a plan against a bubba he can't facecamp 2 people at once
-
I hit people on hook just because I find the scream kind of annoying and hitting someone cuts the scream off.
-
Slinger already has a compromise. He has an insanely strong chase but very little map pressure.
-
I mean in all seriousness a good survivor team can completely deny an oni of his power for a super long time. Slinger has insanely good chase, but his map pressure is so terrible that the great chase is all he really has.
-
It does have a consequence... He loses his stealth and can't stalk anyone for at least 30 seconds...
-
I don't know man I still think just making EGC start when the final gen pops would be better.
-
This wouldn't be a terrible change but it would still have to only work once or be completely deactivated during endgame collapse.
-
WHY IS EVERY SURVIVOR TRYING TO DO GENS?!?!
