No way you just did that - it's actually appalling. Speechless.
Guess the people who scream the loudest always get their way.
I'm camping/tunnelling from the first hook. I was maybe considering otherwise, but after seeing that they don't even have the balls to keep healing nerfs while at same time keep gutting anti-gen perks... hard to feel any remorse.
You sound like a bratty 6 year old. Killers got the vast majority of what they wanted, but you didn't get EVERYTHING, so now's the time to roll on the floor and be hysterical.
Also, don't be a cry bully. If you're gonna be toxic and unpleasant to people at least own it. Don't pretend you're a victim being pushed to do things you don't want to.

So... are we not going to talk about the NOED?
Also looking at perks alone I don't think that was a SWF at all to begin with.
Also poor Jane, you literally tunneled her out of the match.
What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?
She got tunneled out.

Hilarious. You have the gal to say killer mains are toxic when you lot teabag at every pallets run the most toxic perks in the game, and flashlight blind every chance you get yet you have the GAL to call us toxic. Don't make me laugh.
"You lot". Right there. I called out a specific minority of Killer players and you generalise everyone. People like you are the problem. You're hysterical. You belong on Twitter.

Deal with toxic survivors for 10 matches in a row them come back and tell me face camping isn't justified, especially on toxic survivors.
So you meeting toxic survivors means it's cool to treat other people like garbage?
Speaking generally about what I see on this forum, the thing I can't stand about many of the Killer players here is that they're rude and unpleasant to people, then start claiming that they are real victim. I'm genuinely glad that the loudest and angriest of you are not the majority.

I have several ideas that could be fun to test, but I know survivor mains just want an easy game and they are always the first to complain... :/Go for it, I would like to read them :D
I want to hear Killer players' ideas too, it just always seems to come with an insult. Like an ugly side salad 😘
I would like some more horror in the game. Wesker is fun to go against but he's not scary. He's too camp to be terrifying. Dredge would be scary if he didn't look so much like a turkey. As far as design goes, I think Nurse, Hag, Plague, Blight and Crow Lady are the creepiest Killers. The sound of Blight smashing into things in the distance is genuinely creepy. I'd love to see more Killers like them.

I think people who are very skilled at the game, often forget what low to mid MMR looks like. Killers don't know the maps or how to play the game well, and they rely on hook camping a lot. It's probably very rare at high MMR as it's inefficient against squads and most Killers don't want to look like they are camping hooks, but for the rest of the playerbase it can be something you encounter match after match. This is why Wraith is so common at lower MMR. He's easy to pick up and destroys new players as they struggle to find him when he's cloaked and can't loop very well.
At lower MMR in Solo Q you know what is gonna happen the moment someone starts hook camping at 5 gens. Nobody touches gens and everyone goes one by one to feed the camper. I can imagine a lot of newer players just give up after encountering these sort of players constantly as it's not fun to play against. Although I did meet a break dancing Booba once who was inbetween two hooked survivors, but it was too adorable to get mad at.
I genuinely sympathise with the host of this discussion. It can be extremely demotivating to play these sorts of matches on a regular basis. But the DC penalty should stay.

You still get the stun from blast mine, just not blinded (and you get the aura read too)
That's cool. I assumed it did nothing to Killers with Lightborn
-
Doesn't Lightborn counter both flashlights and blastmine?

You got a link?
Thanks in advance.

She kind of reminds me of the protagonist of Dishonored 3: A Search for Ivor's Treasure (or something)

I don't think the Killers are too strong. But trying to organise and beat a strong 3 gen setup in Solo Q feels nearly impossible. It requires such tight coordination that you just don't have. Then obviously you have all the random elements like getting 1 or 2 new players who just aren't equipped to play against a seasoned Killer.
I feel like the matchmaking might be part of the problem. I played against a Prestige 18 Cenobite with 3 reasonably new players a few nights ago. It was an absolute massacre.

More dark maps. So I can hide in a bush more effectively.

I remember hearing about this in uni. I was honestly shocked by the outcome of the experiment, but I don't think that's what happening here. Sure, some people are attracted to the role of Killer so they can live out power fantasies (similar to scumbags who become police officers as it gives them the tools they desire to harm others). But I think most of the toxicity is just a result of spending too much time online, hidden behind anonymity.
There's a wealth of research looking into the effects of spending excessive amounts of time socialing online and not socialing in person. Long story short, we read a person's tone of voice, facial expressions and body language to understand if the things we say or do are making them uncomfortable. You don't get this feedback from online interactions, and the online world tends to promote being loud and abrasive, as this is how you stand out from the millions of people you are competing with for attention. The combination of a lack of social feedback, the ability to seek out those who agree with us and block those that don't, behavioural tendencies learned from a place like Twitter and anonymity often results in a person becoming what we would describe as toxic.
As miserable as 5 gen hook campers make me (the only thing I find myself getting annoyed by), I forget them as soon as I meet a Chad Huntress doing an only hatchets run. Maybe if we could focus our minds on the fun interactions we have with each other rather than zeroing in on the bad ones, we wouldn't fall into otherism, where the other side is completely irredeemable.

Why does every discussion of buffs for Killers have to include the insinuation that Killer players are constantly being victimised? Just offer some suggestions to improve the QoL for Killers. Don't preemptively wrap yourself in a martyrdom blanket and throw yourself off the roof.

That's unlucky. I agree they should do something not to face same killer again and again. But to face 3 hags just wow! I have seen maybe one in the past 3 months.
Maybe it's a European thing lmao

Pig. Booping the snoot always seems to melt Pig’s heart
I've never done that. Based on the parodies I assume that's doing the Over There gesture?
There's usually one DC per Pig match, so I usually can't find her after that. I find them several minutes later crouching in a corner and looking depressed.

Worst Thing - 5 Gen Hook Campers
Best Thing - Hatchets Only Huntress (These players are always a good laugh to play with)
-
Slightly off topic, but has anyone else noticed a tidal wave of Nurse players in the last week or so? She's probably the Killer I face the most right now. Last night I had 4 in a row.
-
I miss Oni players. He's a fun Killer to play against and the sound of him powering up in the distance is pretty terrifying.
-
I really like having the seasonal offerings. It's cool that as a survivor I can bring an item that can give the killer player BP. The snowmen added a level of ridiculousness to matches which allowed for some fun non-sweaty interactions between survivors and killers. I think the game needs more of this.
-
At least Killers never complain about survivor perks. They are truly the best of us all.
-
I like the redesign of Erie of Cows but the gens/gate spawns need some tweaking
-
It's not just RPD. I've seen ridiculously close gen spawns on multiple maps. Not only that, exit gates are sometimes spawning in the same corner of the map. Is it to make 3 gen setups / gate patrol easier or is it a bug?
-
I can confirm that Solo Q against Pinbutthead is still atrocious. The buffs have failed.
-
Playing Solo Q is still not even close to being in a SWF. The icons don't help you synergise perks with team mates, doesn't help decide on who is going for the unhook. All it does is give you an idea on what your team mates are doing.
Even with the improvements, Solo Q is a mess. Players doing 3 different gens when there's only one left to do, people not getting unhooked, nobody interacting with anything for 3 minutes whilst some poor dude gets chased. All this does is limit some of the chaos.
I think the best thing is to just wait and see what impact this has.
