I've been in red many times, I hated every second of it, you might aswell stay purple/green ranks for some decent games if you even have that kind of luck.

yea. i played with my friend hes red rank and hes omg hes cool but when it comes to dbd hes such an arrogant lil prick honestly. sometimes itll match me up with ppl in his skill range and omg its even worse than just me playing solo. im sticking to my purple rank and even green. my friend who streams dbd but has stopped and done other games subbed someone to his channel every time they got me caught by the killer so i dropped to 9. i was even mad tho cause i had so much fun going back and forth with the survivors and killers with the banter. the killers were legit confused and i was trying to outrun everyone it was so much fun. like its so hard to enjoy games which is what sucks. like if you look at these comments. no one says anything about the enjoyment of the game. its about loops and pallets and dumb ######### like ugh. its frustrating cause i used to have a blast sitting on my ass on the weekend playing dbd whether solo or swf. before swf became an issue

What you are having is an argument, what I would like to have with you is a discussion. In order to do that, you need to know my opinion and I need to know yours. I feel like the game is in a good spot, the only thing I'd like to see changed is QoL stuff.

If you just want to be angry and rant, go for it.

Yet here you are again. Engaged in a conversation/discussion/argument on MY post. Lol. If you want someone to care go make your own post sweety. It takes two to argue. I dont feel like im arguing with you so if you feel youre in an argument thats something you need to take up with thyself. Last but not least i dont need to know your opinion. I dont care to. I mean look at your comments. On a thread about DBD youre trying to tell me how i should discuss things cause im arguing and you dont argue but here you are lol. You look silly. So let me show you how its done when youre a mature adutl and honestly dont care about an opinion vs just wanting to come off as whatever it is youre trying to do. So until you post something useful youve been dismissed. Enjoy your week. 😀

oh no! the game is getting more balanced! D:

imagine needing skill to survive... horrible...

Also ive survived plenty of times. The game isnt balanced. If it is please explain how so? Anyone with eyes can see witht he new update it is not. The games are getting worse. There a good chance youll have a ######### day and you might get some good matches. And by ######### day i dont mean losing i mean games that are enjoyable. Everybody know what that word means? When did this just become about win or lose? Lil baby ragers whining cause they dont get a 4k every match or cause someone looped them? AKA it made me mad i couldnt get that survivor change something so i can next time. But we need skill? Lol. This update isnt for us. Its for you. So lets rethink that next time you want to put this bs us on survivors.

    not exactly.

im more of one of these guys who play both sides ar red ranks and notices the major balance issues this game has (yes, godloops are one hell of a great example for that).

also, here i literally just took that one:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/361/5M9KD59HDZPQ.png

    cause some always need proof..

thanks for the proof. people always say that to try and make you feel some type of way as if you dont know anything. Meanwhile im usually in purple rank now. i wont go to red. i heard thats hell on a stick and it is when i play swf.

  • @GrannyonAcid said:

I play both and I'm excited for the changes. Don't know why people can't be a little bit excited for change. Right now I think the game is pretty survivor friendly. If this balances it out why is that a bad thing? People are entitled to have opinions rather then make posts about how the game is unplayable because of a patch.

Youre right. Maybe i misread something. How exactly does this balance the game out? Every single match i play in its a slug at the end. Too many gens done? Let me slug and tunnel. Its an easy takeover for a killer especially if the survivors practice altruism which is how we gain points. So either we try and save each other for some bps or were all dead and weve still gained no bps cause were all being thrown in a pile in the dying state. Even though thats not even the objective of the game lmao.

  • @Pulsar said:

I would like it if Legion got some QoL changes.

Also, views have likely gone down due to the PTB having been out for some time.

Finally, try to calm down and present your argument in a calm and logical manner. Then perhaps, we can have a discussion.

If you're going to try and be a smart with the whole calm down then we can have a discussion probably dont add your opinion first then tell me what i need to do to have a discussion. Youve already joined the discussion by posting anything. Lol but that was really cute the whole "i know your demeanor through your computer bit". Played out. Tired. Unoriginal. Try harder next time though and then I might care if you do or dont join this discussion. As you can see ill be having one with or without you. 😂

  • So i just got attacked by all survivors on my team cause i didnt go get the last person on his dying hook even though i knew the gunslinger was waiting. Every time I got close my spine chill went off. He was waiting for me. They were all like wow did nothing the entire game. I had more points than the killer did but i did nothing the entire game lol. They get so salty. And the killer started slugging trying to find me but he hooked Jane (who by the way was the reason two people got hooked in the first five minutes cause she blew the same gen three times and had the least amount of points) before she bled out. Every time I amde a rescue that game gunslinger was right around the corner waiting. Fine but im not going to let you get me at the end. Then he gets all pissy telling me oh i went across the entire map just so you could grab him (yea sure you did) and you didnt. Bullshit you went across the map lol. He was mad cause i ruined his 4k. They hate it when you do whatever it takes to win just like they do.

I think I see that it’s EZ 4Ks quite frequently people still think this games survivor sided 🤔 all they gotta do is capitalize on survivor mistakes which don’t require much other than spawning in next to the killer. Survivors fault right? Right. Blame it on him for not having a Vigo’s Shroud. Blame it on survivors for poor hit detection that it’s possible to go through vaults, get both feet on the other side, take a few steps and get smacked only to turn around and see the killer behind the vault you went through 🤷‍♂️ Why should the killer need to vault or go around to get that down? He shouldn’t right? Right. Of course not. But Blame your survivors buddies for going down because lag rubberbanded him into his death, blame survivors for going down when there’s an extreme lack of hiding Bc of knee high crates and paper thin walls and trees on some of these maps as well as just blatantly obvious locker locations. I think there should be multiple adjacent hiding spots everywhere.

the game is definitely killer sided. thats not to say you cant win or its hard to win but slugging isnt necessary at all. well slugging for a 4k isnt. slugging to get ppl off gens yea but every single game now its slugging the last two cause killers feel like we shouldnt get hatch which is just another way of taking over the game to try and control the outcome. its so stupid. if i cant get the doors open ill waste the entire time lol so you cant hook me and the entity gets me.

You literally cant close hatch till they're fully dead what? No the hatch is not survivor sided, nor should it be. There should not be a free escape for the last survivor just because, hatch needs to go. Yeah exit gates spawning right next to each other is dumb, and needs to fixed, but we can fix gates and remove hatch. I was just saying that is the reason WHY the second to last is slugged. Lets say if the killer got a 0k by the time gens were done, the exit got blocked until SOMEONE died and everyone became exposed. Survivors would flip out. But if we're going to give free escapes to survivors we should give free kills to killers. I'd rather we do neither.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1180860#Comment_1180860

GOOD. The hatch should NOT be survivor sided nor should the EGC. The hatch shouldn't exist, all it does is screw the killer out of a kill they should have gotten, in no possible way does a survivor deserve hatch, that's just entitlement. "Oh look I was LUCKY enough to find hatch first, screw you bye." Yeah you totally earned that escape, not just a coin-flip on who finds it first. Also killer closing the hatch first was in BEFORE dedicated servers, its intended. Do more research next time before you blame everything on the servers. The EGC was just a solution to survivors holding the game hostage because they are salty, killers have no way to hold a game hostage without bugs or map design mishaps. However, its a better solution that the hatch just screwing killers more than they already are.

When I play survivor (which is most of the time now) I just sit near an exit gate and wait for hatch to close, 50% chance of getting out for free, even though I don't deserve it since you know, my team failed their objective.

why do you austomatically feel you should get the 4th kill. no your work for it. period. this is what i mean. slugging for a 4k. you think this should be easy i should be easily able to take over the game when i want to turn the tables in my favor. NO. you will work for it. survivors are catching on more now and being a bit more stingy which is good sometimes. and you want them to take hatch away? if thats the case maybe killer isnt for you.

  • @xenotimebong said:

Yeah it’s the most boring gameplay possible. You know they’re using the downed guy as bait, the downed guy knows it, the killer knows you know it. So it becomes a tedious waiting and sneaking game.

I’ve slugged for the 4K a couple of times but I just can’t be bothered anymore. If the last guy finds the hatch, whatever. If I find it they probably die. A 3K with hatch and a 4K are literally the same to me, by that point the match is already over so just get it finished.

yep and then even if he does hook the survivor 9 times out of ten hell swing take him down then come straight after me. usually those killers who do that have slugged already during the game so unbreakable has been used up. i think its such a simple minded thing to do for a 4k honestly but hey whatever thats how you do it i just have to start thinking bout winning that much too if the killer is. i definitely dont mind switching places with someone who is better fromw hat ive seen but sometimes its just not possible and the best option is to just hide and sneak around and hope you find the hatch. i dont think killers really assess that its easier for me to get hatch too if youre slugging. i dont have to wait for the entitty to completely consume the body for the hatch to open. while the survivor bleeds out ur looking for me and im standing by the hatch. then they swear up and down thats a good reason for the hatch to be taken and its just not.

    No. Just no.

They're saying that they're not falling for your stupid bait that killers use to cover up a lack of skill in tracking. It's not about being let go, it's about recognising a dumb strategy and avoiding it.

Thank you! People like this are the ones who use this technique and clearly took offense to what i said.

  • @LALYTHIA said:

"GOOD. The hatch should NOT be survivor sided nor should the EGC."

You are right, it should be 50/50, and it is not - by a long shot. So the idea that hatch in general should be removed is down right ridiculous...it's already WAY more killer-centric.

It also doesn't screw the killer for the survivor to have a SMALL chance of getting the hatch. This game is not a battle royale. It is not meant to be played 1v1 because Killers have total advantage and if it were made to be an even 1v1 when its Killer vs Solo Survivor, killers would never win in a 4v1, let alone a SWF. If with that small chance a survivor finds the hatch, against the odds, they deserve to leave. You're assuming that the killer played well the entire match, so he should get to pick off an easy kill, while completely ignoring that the last remaining survivor likely played extremely well themselves, despite their team or whatever disadvantages had arisen to result in three people dying. Personally, I dont think the hatch should have changed. I rather liked it being a test of will. shrug

I also don't need to do any research. I have played this game for years and I know what I'm talking about. EGC was the solution for survivors holding the game hostage, but its implementation, in conjunction with the hatch changes, was outrageously killer skewed. I beg to differ. I have definitely laid slugged in a match for the entire duration of bleedout or EGC because a killer would rather make me wait and stare at them doing nothing than hook/kill me in end game. So, killers have their own methods of wasting people's time. And there is no such thing as "screwing killers more than they already are", because they aren't being screwed in the first place.

I highly doubt you play much survivor and the idea you have a 50% chance of escape, even if you're humping a door when the hatch closes, is bullshit. There are too many high mobility killers in the game for this to be true and door RNG is such that usually they spawn together. This has even been recently changed on maps like Lery's - where the doors always spawned on opposites sides, to the doors now being able to spawn on the same side to further reduce chances on already one of the smallest maps in the game.

thank you lol. the hatch doesnt even open automatically until the body is completely gone. ive been in matches where ive stood right on the hatch as soon as it opened and the killer somehow closes it. i agree it definitely more killercentric. most survivors dont even go for the hatch. they go straight to an exit and push open the doors the moment the hatch is closed. youre just not that good of a killer if you really think hatch is just some freebie escape for a survivor.

I never said that either side was FAIR, I said that you should earn your damn kills, and give a survivor a false sense of hope. As for items on Survs, I DON'T! There are heaps of survivors who don't use squat except the perks they bring and the occasional BP offering because we're awarded sweet FA in terms of BP.

I'm just so sick to death of the slug "fer meh fer keh". Killers wonder why survivors bring Unbreakable, Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, Dead Hard and Adrenaline. It's all in response for the trash "tactics" that they all employ, and it's hurting other killers, like me, who don't follow that way of thinking or playing.

If that last survivor finds hatch before me, good on them! They earned it! I've already got 3 kills and iri Gatekeeper. My rank's not going down, that's for sure.

it really does. ive been in games where survivors will DC so the last player has a chance at hatch and then the killer says inc hat he wasnt gonna slug and all the survivors are like man we dont know we cant read minds. you cant ttell anymore. i just assume the last two will be slugged to prevent hatch and play accordingly. one killer just got mad at me for "wasting his time" cause he was slugging so hard i beckoned the downed survivor to me and picked em back up and we just crept around trying to finish. then he got her and hooked her killed her because by then he found hatch. i cant get to either door cause its the doctor and hes spamming tha electro bullshit so theres no way in hell im opening either door without getting caught so i just look for totems. now hes mad cause he didnt get to hook me and he entity got me lol. its always something. me personally i dont play killer much but 90% of the time ive seen the hatch by the time i get to the third so i have no problem hooking them. im a crap killer and i say what i do about slugging because if i me on a freaking LAPTOP TOUCHPAD (i have a gaming mouse just hate the feel) can get a 4k without the toxicity then so can anybody else. im not that good at all at killer. but people are sweaty try hards so you know how that goes.

  • @ThisGuuy83 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1165482#Comment_1165482

Same could be said on survivor side. You gen rush and knock out all the gens, killer hasn't even gotten a kill. Do one of you volunteer to stay behind and let the killer kill you? Didn't think so...

i have before once. just once. we knocked those gens out so fast. i dont think the game lastedt more than 5 minutes. it was boring and way too easy. i think once person got hooked. i believe he was trying to complete a challenge. it was the cannibal i dont think it was his main but i still felt bad so i let him one hit me at the end. literally walked back in from the exit and stood there. ofc he still talked crap lol but yea i really dont know why they nerfed ruin. it wasnt necessary

  • @MrPenguin said:

yes this is the obvious choice, don't take the bait. You can't blame the killer for wanting the 4k and trying to get it the same way you can't blame a survivor for seeing bait and not going for it.

The main reason (to my understanding) killer slug the 2nd to last is because hatch exist.

It really sucks when you are destroying a survivor team, or worse, are barely coming out on top, just for the last survivor to be like "lol, nope free escape, screw you". Remove hatch and put EGC in its place and maybe it will change.

killers always act like hatch just pops up in all its shining glory right in front of us the moment the 3rd dies. lol like stop. 9 times out of 10 you find the hatch and before you even get the third and by the time you hook the survivor youve closed the hatch before the entity has even taken the body. And then the gates are 90% of the time so close you can stand between them and see both exits. And lets say you didnt close the hatch. You have a better chance of finding it before i do becaue you dont have to duck and hide and creep and crawl. You want to slug the last two and take the hatch away? Lol. Id be all for that if the exits always spawned on either side of the map. But we both know that isnt the case.

  • @Yamaoka said:

Quote: "at least one of us can win".

How can you possibly consider a 1 person hatch escape "winning"? It's more like a "ok your team got completely destroyed - you're free to go now" kinda escape.

Youre aim is to kill all four survivors. As a survivor my aim is to escape. If i escape ive won regardless of if anybody else does. IF youve failed to kill all 4 survivors yes you made some progress but ultimately ya lost. We can sit here and pretend that killers are okay with a kill or two but as much as killers camp, slug, and tunnel im going to call it like it is. Im a terrible killer. Im trapper main cause traps are good at injuring people so ultimately i only have to hit someone once. I still have never camped tunneled or slug and i can get a 4k. "Ez" like yall say. But me personally i like a challenge. Iwant to enjoy the game not just end the game as soon as possible with a 4k.

I don't mind if there stealthy. I hate when they urban evade and do nothing.

ha. yea. i like urban evade but i still keep playing at the end. but i totally agree. ive been down to the last two and all i see if the other person crouching around the map waiting for me to be found cause im working on the last gen instead of us popping it real quick and us both getting out. makes no sense.

  • @ThisGuuy83 said:

It's called bait. If there's only 2 left, of course I'm gonna slug him and wait, or hook him and camp. The chances of me finding you are slim to none. The chances of you getting the save and both escaping if I go searching for you are very high. Take the win and escape, or suffer the consequences for trying to save the BAIT.

Yea i dont camp. Not my thing. Ruins the integrity of the game especially since you dont have to camp. And yes its hard to find a fourth at the end as its hard to find the hatch or get the doors open in time. Plenty ways to stop a fourth from escaping without having to slug. The question is if thats in your skill range. No shame if its not all im saying is im going to have to let people bleed out more cause its better if one of us gets out.

Ever since the ruin nerf killers be slugging left and right. Sometimes its the only thing to create pressure against a deathsquad.

which is bullshit. There was NOTHING wrong at all with ruin. It didnt need to be nerfed. This coming from a survivor. It took longer yea but it wasnt like holding up the game. With detetctives hunch you could easily find it or with the thing i forgot what its called but where you can see the killers marks and stuff. Usually theyd put something by their hex totems. So now because they nerfed it every game is some try hard sweaty fest of slugging. That was so dumb to nerf ruin.

  • @Hoodied said:

    EDIT: Applied context

you dont need to apply pressure when theres only two people left. At that point youre using them for bait for your 4k so lets cut the were applying pressure bs. yea i really like the demo. i find him creepy on any map really especially with his loud ass feet nd the music that comes with it. and when he goes into the portal and his sound fades off i freaking love it. i havent played against it on hawkins since the ptb before it came out. still good to play against tho but yea not many play him unfortunately. sucks man. such a good dlc to me.

Love the map from both sides, it's similar to Lery's but easier. The layout is consistent, with the rooms always being in the same places, and that allows for ease of navigation.

Can't find a survivor? Check one of the 'safe' rooms for where they are probably sitting immersed.

Can't hold yourself in chases? Go to one of the 'safe' rooms that are heavily survivor sided.

I would say two rooms in that map are inherintly 'safe'. No I'm not going to describe because it would be hard and most people know the rooms I'm referencing. But it's almost like an indoor Coldwind map. If you get caught away from a decent room (and lets be honest, aside from the two 'safe' rooms there is only one other) you're out of luck. Coldwind follows that similarly, if you get caught at a bad jungle gym or in the corn, it's game over for you.

What makes Hawkins more difficult is survivors like myself who run Iron Will. There is more line of sight breaks (making it a good map for Ghostface and Silent Wraith) which allow survivors who have a bit of a boost (getting hit, Sprint burst, balanced landing) to hide around a corner and take advantage of the lack of sight.

It's a fun map for both sides and I don't get why people hate it so much. It's not like the new Yamoaka that's a Blendette's wet dream. Just take the time to learn the layout a bit, where to run as a survivor and how to cut it off as a killer. It takes more practice, but it makes it rewarding.

me either. i love the map. i dont get why ppl hate it so much either. or people say its too easy but still slug everyone instead of just playing the damn game. like i HATE blackwater swamp but i wont kill myself on hook and ruin it for the survivors. i just play my best and when its done its done.

  • @shmoul said:

It's my most hated map as killer and as a survivor. Everytime I get hawkin's I just slug all 4 as soon as I can so I can just end the match. It's an incredibly boring map with an insane amount of unsafe pallets, you can practically win every match on it with no power.

yea see every time i get that map i usually get killers like you. which would be fine cause there's so many diff killers but it just seems like most of them really dont like the map. which is also fine but its like damn can u just freaking play it so we can enjoy it for once. even if that was the case then its the survivors who dont like it and kill themselves on hook. either way its just always something it seems like. either its the killer or its the damn survivors or someones farming so its not an actual game but a killer wanting us to stun them or step in their traps or something. drives me crazy

Yeah every time I use an offering someone DC's or kills themselves as well.

I like that the indoor maps prevent the killer from being seen from miles away, which allows the killer to apply more pressure as they don't know exactly where he's at all the time and they play more cautiously.

They allow for more mind games and stealth on survivor side which I like.

They are also just more aesthetically pleasing as well.

yea me and my bf have like an understanding of if we play together and we happen to use the card we never take anything in with us anymore cause we know theres a huge chance that itd be wasted. i dont mind dying its just i miss the ptb before it came out when ppl were playing the demogorgon on it. i dont get to play against that killer much either. a lot of ppl use nancy and steve but the map and killer dont seem to be too popular with ppl in my experience

  • @OtakuBurrito said:

The only time it's unfair when both gates are on the same side is when your the last one left and the hatch was closed. At that point it's damn near impossible to open the gates. Some killers like billy and spirit, it might as well be impossible. But if the killer killed 3 people, you didn't finish the gens and he closed the hatch before you found it, they probably deserve it.

Yea thats what i mean. Like we were just on coldwind farm and there was one and literally i could stand in front of one door and see the other. i can do that a lot actually but people are saying the doors are random so if thats the case then cool. at least some times they wont be by each other. for me most of the time they are though.

  • @Divinitye9 said:

Yeah, you rolled some bad gates, nothing more.

    RNG is RNG.

Okay. Cool. I notice on bigger maps theyre always like on one side like lerys and hawkins so i just assumed they were like placed in the same areas.

Have you seen Starbucks? I don't think they erect those without two more on the same street.

Lmao true. We have a starbucks here in our target then one literally down the street.

    Just bad luck man

Edit: You gotta remember the map is randomized.

Okay youre the second to say that. Ok wait. Do u mean the map choice or the map itself? Cause if it randomized cool. I thought the doors were just liked placed close like that on certain maps like purposely.

  • @HawkAyeTheNoo said:

Exit gates are fine, everything in this game doesnt have to be survivor sided. If you cant open them go farm points till death comes.

"everything doesnt have to be survivor sided". God. You sound like a 8 year old girl. no one said it had to be survivor sided. i didnt ask for anything to be taken away or given. i just said why are they so close. killers walk faster than we run 90% of the time and you get a notification for the doors lmao but thats surivor sided.

Gates are meant to be a reward for a team that does well. Unfortunately this game has the stupid hatch which generated hatch standoffs so they fixed that with the egc. The only reason to be upset about gates spawning close is when you're the only one left, which means the gates are only powered because the hatch was closed, which means your team totally lost and you do not deserve an escape, but if you're lucky you just might anyway. Try playing killer sometime and youll understand.

I do play killer. Lets keep the assumptions to ourselves. they make you look like an ass. And if the gates are right around the corner from one another its not easy for me to get the survivor. Also if its a reward then why power them at all if their most likely not even going to be open considering theyre right by each other. Use your head. Thanks.

  • @Carlosylu said:

It's randomized, that's just bad luck, and by what you're writting I guess the killer closed the hatch on you as last survivor or you were playing solo? Cause if you're a SWF you can open those no problem with 3+ survivors alive

Really? Cause when i play most maps are always usually by each other except like hawkins and lerys and occasionally ormond and the one with fathers chapel. Most of the time I just give myself a goal to get the gate half open lol before the killer comes cause there usually isnt much chance of getting away most of the time once they figure out which door your at. And I rarely play with friends. Most of my friends are red rank and the games at that level when I play with them are atrocious lol. so toxic. But the match I was referring to yes I was playing solo.

  • @hex_genrush said:

So the killer has a chance to catch someone lol ?

? The whole game is the killer catching someone? Lol. Um but thanks? for the input? 🤦‍♀️

One of the reasons I disabled messages on ps4. People can't take a loss and love to blame everyone else for it.

my friend did it to me yesterday. Actually quite a few times ive played with him. Very bossy cause hes a red rank and thinks hes an all knowing master but cant even remember the name of a simple map. All i hear when i play is go for the save do this do that but yesterday when i went to save him the killer slugged the girl and came back to his hook and got me before i could finish the unhooking. Then it was wow you should of stayed on the gens blah blah. And me personally im usually the last one alive. I can make it through the entire game without being hooked. Im better at being stealthy than being chased and every time i got caught it was to save him and he bitched at me cause id get caught sometimes trying to save his ass being a toxic looper and getting caught. I was like you know what im playing how i want. Get over it. Stop getting caught and expecting me to die for you or give you my flashlight cause you can use it better.

I would do anything in my power to save another survivor if that means I won't be just down and hooked without saving that person. If there is Noed and enough time left i search for the totem and then try the save. If there is not enough time to do that i will probably leave unless i'm sure the killer is not camping. It's all situational and that makes is interesting.

Me either. Like its nice when people come back especially with borrowed time and we make an escape but I dont get salty when I know the killer is camping and they cant get me. And then when ppl do try and die I wish that they hadnt. Id rather someone get out than all of us dying.

Right. But if it involves me being downed and hooked then I reserve the right to leave. That's all.

Sounds boring game style but each to there own i guess, gen jockeying and leaving. Wheres the excitement, the thrill of pulling off that impossible save.

Maybe reread and then come back when you've comprehended what I said. Take your time.

This is called smart play never feel bad or let others bully you for doing the most smartest logical choice. I've experienced similar things misplays on both sides that caused me a win or a killer that I am playing against a win just because of bad choices and over aultristic actions.

Bravo for having your own mind and game style 💖🐷

Yea I used to. Like yesterday I was playing with friends and could of left but i went to go back and save and i did but got hit and them mfers left me. Im sick of that #########. It happens so often. You go back for someone to save them and then they feel like they dont need to try and just like yea thanks bye so I definitely think it through more. Cause if theyve already struggled theyre not coming back for you.

  • @Skelemania said:

I will say, I have definitely seen more instances of where people 99% the door becoming a detriment to people surviving than being helpful.

I get it, you're trying to wait so that the end game collapse bar doesn't start. But what happens more often than not, is that extra second of opening the door and then having to back track to where the door opens makes the difference between someone surviving or dying - especially if they don't have Dead Hard or they're Exhausted.

Not a fan of that strategy at all. I always open the door all the way & then people have that EGC bar to get out.

Exactly. Like even if we all get to the door the killer walks about as fast as we run and someone has to do the last 1% of the door someone is going to get hit. And then what if they have that one perk the blood thingy perk where we have to wait a minute before we can leave. There goes at least two of us if not all. One time I opened the door not realizing this girl had 99ed it and she got mad at me cause I left cause she got noed hit trying to go back to save the 3rd survivor. If I go back for you and I get hit we all dead lol. If you couldnt save them successfully why are you expecting me to? Like sheesh people need a clue.

  • @AsePlayer said:

Eh depends on the situation. If I don't have an item and I'm going to safety pip anyways (rank 1), I don't mind doing a sacrifice every now and then if that survivor helped me out earlier in the match.

Right but you're never obligated to.

  • @Mikeasaurus said:

Agreed. I always try to assess the situation before playing hero. If NOED is active, I'm outta there. I always run Kindred, so I always see if a Killer keeps raoming the hook, and if they are, that's a big old nope from me. I had a match earlier where 2 survivors were playing hook trade, only to be both downed at the same time by Bubba, who proceeded to camp at the killer shack alongside the basement. I got called an awful player for not rescuing, despite the fact I could clearly see LF standing in the shack waiting with Kindred. It annoys me so much when other survivors demand you down yourself so they can escape despite the clear situation.

Yea like I was playing the doctor and this girl got hooked and I tried my best to get to her before time ran out but I had to hide a couple times cause he was chasing someone around me. Eventually he got that survivor and i ran to get the one on hook but he was on the way cause obviously if i go anywhere its to save her. So I ducked and ofc he used the shock thing and found me so I ran and she died. Like ######### if i had ran to get you id have taken the hit and you might of left me on hook or we both would of died. That doesnt benefit me at all lol

  • Okay so thanks for all the feedback and the other stuff. Yes I have less experience than a lot of you if not all of you here. However my mind wont change about one person having the ability to take over a game at any given time. That was my issue with slugging. Not applying pressure or giving some survivor you feel bad for another chance but taking over the game. Its been a whole weekend so I probably wont reply anymore. Enjoy yourselves!!

With such passion? Thats your choice of word? Passion. Aww. Im going to go out on a limb and say you should refrain from using a word for something you have never experienced. I cant be inexperienced in the game but also passionate about a game you said i was inexperienced in. Make up your mind. Anyway thanks for the feedback enjoy your weekend.
