the game is balanced around certain speeds and rates. NOED breaks that balance entirely and gives the killer a massive advantage. Its almost a guaranteed activation and it requires little to no strategy. I rarely use it because I also play survivor and have empathy for those that out play the killer for 5 gens and get killed on first hook because of a totem. but for the end game collapse sacrifices RIFT its essential.
-
the skill level is the problem, and cant be balanced around. A optimal survivor is going to be unfair to a killer and vise-versa. The game is really balanced for what it is.
-
NOED is a creative way to tell the other players your bad at the game.
-
my SWF team rocks kindred, dead hard and borrowed time. there's nothing better then a baby bubba disconnecting after a well played basement save. throw in object of obsession and hunch and you have a weak noed-less leatherface crying at the exit gate.
-
when does the hatch actually appear on the map?
-
someone needs to NERF your HEART!!
-
if you FIND them, YOU should be able to travel them yourself. and if you run into a demogorgon in the tunnel you get the "this is awkward" Debuff.
-
Ive been pipping and not getting ANY kills. I just try to hook everyone twice then i goof off. im a pretty lousy killer.
-
severely broken. a missed hook is an automatic depip/loss. its the new flashlight apocalypse.
-
i don't play Freddy anymore because its a reliable 4K. only use him for Rift challenges. when i solo against him he wipes out my team really fast. seems a little overpowered (although in the movies hes overpowered).
-
in the time it takes to wipe your blade a survivor can drop a hook. its basically as if all gens are 99%. did it to killer over and over yesterday, its BROKEN. if you're killer a failed hooking is an automatic loss in purple to red ranks.
-
this reminds me of the flashlight apocalypse. Everyone and their mother is going to exploit this. it will just be face camping, tunneling, moris and long lobbys.

Welp, I did it... All my Killers, meaning all in the current game, have now all perks at level 3 🥳
The last Killer to get all perks was Billy. I never played him that much, so he got the last in line 😉
On the Survivor side I've finished Kate and David. Currently woking on Nea and after... I don't know which one I should give all perks.
Anyway... it was a long road to get all killer perks. The change for the bloodweb helped a lot 👍
you're a hero in my book

is sabo being nerfed? i thought it had a cooldown but was just a few seconds to do, depending on perks? .....Sabo teams ive faced if coordinated are usually great at the game, so loosing hooks is the least of my problems.
-
low ranks hes a beast. high ranks he gets looped endlessly. His shocks cause a graphical lag/hitch though for survivor and that's not fun.
-
I brought NOED on the "two endgame collapse kills" Rift. Boy, did i feel like a hunk of garbage.
-
all weekend trying to get rifts done. just face-camping ghostfaces. Running kindred helps, but more that likely they have noed and go for kills at the end. but the killer ends up with like 5k points at the end. Whats the point for the killer doing that? nobodies impressed, you got no points and you de-piped.
-
just remember your playing the heel. your the bad guy in a horror movie. Keep in mind the killer rarely kills everyone. The game is designed around that.
-
insidious is a hilarious perk, and can scare survivors. Also, i hate when it gets used on me.
-
there are so many counters to camping. when it happens now its an easy win.
-
with ruin you could have a beer and keep up with the survivors. now you cant
-
i'm a killer main, but i do play as survivor for daily's and rift. after the Ruin nerf its all face camp all the time. the killer gets one kill and the least amount of BP.
-
how do you think BEARS feel?!

I turned my steam profile to private as soon as someone got weird and stalkerish during endgame chat once... When you start using my real name in chat all threateningly...yeah...
As far as the GG thing goes, I always say GG whether I win or lose. If someone gets salty, dont gotta slink down to their lvl with namecalling or something. This is my typical way of responding...

Point being, dont let it rile you up. If you go in with "WELL YOU USED _____ and ____ PERKS SO..." then give them the response they want.
Sidenote... being overly nice to someone whos trying to put you down is great. I remember screw around with Bubba and just Facecamping everyone. 1 guy got out that game and proceeded to start bashing me in endgame chat. My endgame chat was just alot of "GGs everyone, that was a fun match, I thought I was only gonna get a tie with a 2k, but I managed to get a 3k win...yay". The got who escaped then pointed out that he got more points than me. My response "Sweet, we BOTH win, go us".
are you the master of the GLOW?
-
the less effective killer gets, the cheesier the tactics they will use get. EVERY killer seems to face camp now that ruin is gone.

Idea: Like the trapper, there will be a few gas tanks around the map. The clown starts with 1 gas tank (along with his regular bottle ability), and can set it down and turn it on. The canister will disperse a large cloud of gas for 2 minutes and will slow survivors with the hindered status effect (with the equivalent bonus of the Flask of Bleach). Canisters can be refilled by the clown as well as picked up and placed at strategic locations.
What do you all think?
i like it, he needs a buff
-
if you facecamp, the survivor usually DCs after the struggle ends. you get zero kills, and your bummer doesn't get quelled. then you have to face a fleet of tbags at the exit gate. its not good for your mental state.

I enjoy my 4k under 3 minutes as spirit too
killer should get an insane bonus for pulling that off.
-
play with your food and nemesis. don't extend chases and know when to let them go. There are unwinnable infinite loops that you will have to recognize. try to defend an area that has less loops as opposed to closer gens. you hopefully get some chase action that way.
-
the flashlighty guys seem to be having a laugh riot. i might give that a chance.

So that's why killers bring moris...
moris cause survivors to "gen rush", they also don't want to be in an unwinnable situation. its a whole cycle of violence, man!

No More than 2 min matches from a camping Bubba.
camping is the opposite of fun. hence the sprinting away from survivors even after the gens are done.
-
you will encounter more unwinnable matches. the chases are longer in the beginning because of the amount of unused pallets. most games revolve around the 2 gen mid-game. just accept the fact that half the time you will have zero chance.

I think working as a team and being efficient is fun. I think escaping and winning a chase is fun. I don't bring in toolboxes because I feel that is unfair with the Ruin nerf.
Unfortunately with efficient survivors the game can go fast. For me I want to escape and get my team out. If I don't pip and still escape that is more of a win than pipping and dying, for me.
Also as a team mate I feel I should optimize my time in game for the team. So if there is a long chase going on I am going to pound gennys and totems. I see and know how this can be frustrating for killers, in the games current state. This is the reason I think we should not be bringing in toolboxes for the time being.
So to answer your question, minus the toolboxes it is fun to escape IMO. Although I would prefer it be in a game with some chases and hook rescues.
as a killer i don't get upset when everyone escapes. as long as chases happen win or lose. Its great when I've hooked everyone 3 times, but that's rare in the higher ranks.

To me, a game is about how many BP I get, not necessarily pip'ing. If the game is going by way too quickly, I'll farm a little. Whether that means baiting the killer, cleansing totems, etc. To me, a fast game isn't fun, it's just a waste of time, ironically enough.
i think opening the gate prevents the bp farming? maybe ill stop doing that when i get demolished.
-
i never go after the unhooked survivor, i go after person than farmed them. Even if it costs me Gens, playing survivor gave me that empathy.
-
Camping isn't fun, chasing and downing survivors is fun. Campers get destroyed when they move up the ranks.
-
i just went against some ranks ones that ran in straight lines and prematurely tossed pallets. least red rank killers are red rank killers.
-
as killer, all last hook survivors slugged with 3 gens left. let one get up to rescue his friends to get more BP (bloody party streamers, blood hunt). dropped em all after the gates opened, but carried each one out. got messages from all the survivors calling me names and talking about how EZ it was. should have known better.
-
man, that's really cool!!
-
i'm rank 9 currently on xbox and i am going against red ranks exclusively. but i think a lot of those are unearned, so it balances out.
-
Noed should be part of the base kit. The ending of the match should be the most tense part (as the whole match ramps up the tension as gens get completed). instead, its just time for toxicity and teabagging.
-
i used to get enraged voice messages from murdered survivors on Xbox. all sounded like 11 year-olds. its typically dumb kids that should be doing their homework instead.
-
i only care about bloodpoints, so as a killer main i try and keep the match going as long as possible. kills don't really matter, only points.
