If I'm playing solo I only play killer. Thankfully, I've got a few friends I play with regularly and imo Survivor is more fun in that regard.
Solo though? Definitely queuing killer.

No high quality game like this who has this high of a playerbase releases a DLC with huge problems and bugs like this.
Agreed. But that's a separate issue

No game let's you try out paid DLC for free. Not sure why DBD should be held to a different standard.

Yeah, I would say there are a good number of perks that are almost never used. I think the question becomes whether every perk should be buffed to the level of DS/Save The Best For Last or should these be nerfed to be like Alert/Butter Murmur. Personally, I would like to see everything be like Alert/Bitter Murmur, where it is useful but not game changing.
While i dont disagree, i also think think there's a bunch of killer perks that do the same. I think its easier to buff weak perks than it is to kill strong ones

There's a lot of perks that are used to make up for poor balance.
Decisive strike, borrowed time, undying, ruin. I don't know why they havn't addressed the core issues instead of band-aid fixing things.
Here's to hoping they actually overhaul the base game.
I think all those perks would be fine if there wasn't soooooo many perks that are just borderline useless. Like honestly does anyone use Red Herring? Left Behind? No Mither? Lucky Break?
And then there's a whole pile of perks that are so close to being used but just arent quiiiiite good enough to justify taking out something else for.

Add a progress bar. A green key takes say 10 secs. A purple one, like 8. And a red one like 5. Then it's still short enough that keys are useful but not so short that killer is 10 feet behind them and watches the whole team open it and bail out right in front of them.
But if we're changing keys then moris should be looked at too.

It’s meant to be used with Babysitter.
Babysitter tells you straight away whether or not it’s safe to immediately heal at the hook (to meet the Second Wind conditions), or to leg it and use your aura to lead the killer away from who you’ve unhooked, while they take advantage of the 8 seconds no blood/no scratch marks to follow.
But even then, it's hardly reliable. And still not a great perk. I personally combine Babysitter with Distortion so I see the killer but he doesn't see me and then neither of us leave scratch marks.

I immediately combined them with Deliverence in my head and then made myself sad. Still, I'll give Second Wind/We'll Make It a go
I tried that too! Was disappointed when it didnt work lol

The best way to buff second wind is to remove the prerequisite, have the perk activate once you are unhooked. Think about it, you can only get unhooked twice in one match, you can only use second wind twice. It's not even that strong, even when you take away the prerequisite it's still not that strong.
Agreed. I can see them wanting some kinda requirement for two free heals but you're right. Even with no condition it's not like it would suddenly become meta.

I mean.. I thought that is how it would work. Never used it again after I got Steve’s adept, because even with that change it’s too situational for me and I would rather take Inner Strength..
For sure. It's not super powerful perk at all, which is why such a difficult condition to meet takes it from "hey this might be decent" to "throw it in the pile with no mither"

I personally try using weird perk combinations when I'm trying to have fun as survivor. Stuff like lithe + dance with me or ace in the hole + plunderer's instinct which, while not being that effective, sometimes result in new interesting experiences.
You should try out Distortion + Babysitter. Everytime you unhook someone, you get to see the killer's aura for a few seconds, distortion blocks the killer from seeing yours, and both you and the person you unhook leave no scratch marks for 10 secs.

Self healing without a medkit should be a passive for all survivors.
The sound from whispers should be a passive for all killers.
Make that happen and so many unused perks would start to see play.

Or just make moris for fun. Ya know? After second hook it activates this way it doesn't affect gameplay much. Just a fun thing to use sometimes.
I don't mind it being really powerful. How it is now though just encourages tunneling. Hook someone once and then tunnel and youve removed one player a minute or two into the match. If they changed it to what I suggested, it'd actually promote NOT doing that and to go after everyone.

Torment doesn't do anything but give him the option to use his cage, I don't see why this needs to be removeable by other means. The 3 killers you mentioned have a bunch of hinderances or potential death from using theirs.
As others have mentioned, you can still play around him and good old juking or dodging can also be used if he tries any risky shots.
Disagree.
I play a decent amount of ph and I usually hook people who are tormented just so i can skip the last hook/cage and use final judgement on them.
I've always felt like torment should be cleared after being caged OR hooked because it just becomes so powerful late game.
-
They should just make it so red mori only activates after all 4 survivors have been hooked once & for keys, give it a progress bar like healing & gens. But shorter. Rarity of key affects how long it takes.
-
I'm a survivor main but I've never understood this mindset. Killing everyone is being sweaty?
It's the killers job to kill everyone. The only time I have an issue with that is when they facecamp hooks. Everything else is fine.
If we have a leaver and they trash us all in a couple mins, whatever. Onto the next match.
I survive so often that idc when i dont cuz they went at us hard.
