  • Same here! For hours now! And I'm sad I didn't get to stream today because of it. I'm on PS4 with active subscription.. and good internet.

I hope it can be fixed by time I wake up.

    I NEED to PLAY! LOL

  • Killer having trouble getting through doorway???

Bc the wiggle of the survivor??

You think in real life it would be so easy?? Lol.

Some of these killers seem to want it easy.

I'm a survivor and I ain't going down, or letting anyone else go down, without a fight and a plan to survive. I think if it was real life, some people just get saved that way. And it's as rare(maybe not so much now after this post) as these occurrences in the map. Not every time a killer attacks a team, will he kill everyone.

In my eyes, good always wins. Or at least provides a good fight. Maybe it's just my gameplay. I don't always escape but I'm usually top survivor.

Every game is different. Some easier than others, some faster than others. Each one a lesson. Each one an opportunity to learn this very thing that has been found.

Idk man... I just feel like maybe there is something you haven't noticed or learned yet as killer that can find a loop for this rare occasion. I feel like I bet you can discover a way to beat ish.

Im going to attempt to see this, the build and offering, but as a survivor, I will say, nothing is more enjoyable to me than the unexpected. I don't setting up and planning against killer that way. It's not realistic to me. So I purposely try to stay oblivious to topics like this hahaha.

I love this game and the more the unexpected the more fun I have. Lol

  • The whole point of survivors is to survive. In a real life event, would this be possible? I mean, couldn't there possibly be a fault or weakness in the killer's plan? Not everything would or could play out to either one's favor. And wit a lot of the comments agreeing that this "abuse" is so rare, and I think bc many still aren't aware, that as killer, just learn to work around that. I SURVIVOR main and didn't know this, but that's probably bc I am usually solo. Not often do I swf and with comms. And I don't entirely understand it all, the struggle, bc I survivor main. But this doesn't seem like an issue worth fixing unless all the sudden people (survivors) decided to only play swf +comms.

THAT WAS SUPER INFORMATIVE!!! AMAZING! THANK YOU FOR SHARING THAT!

  • I am a team player all the way except for when I see or notice clear self-concerned actions by other survivors. I tried to pay close attention to every survivor's motives. For those who are aiming more for rituals being done and getting out I just accept it and help them if I can, and still try to get everyone out. I have often sacrificed myself by taking those risky yet oh so fun actions at the end game. And I also try to encourage good sportsmanship and teamwork by trying to lead those stray survivors LOL. I love this game immensely and I love benevolence.

How tf doesn't fit with her lore. Im tired of this sterotype bs. Yes because a introvert book worm can't dress in urban atire? Her fashion sense isn't mentioned in the damn lore. The devs gave her her look. Not her lore. And this goes for the other characters. Im tired of people perpetuating stereotypes. Just because she likes urban clothes doesn't make her any less of her lore. She doesn't "match" her lore. Yall sound so ignorant and uncultured. Im glad they finally have her an urban outfit. So if people dress a certain way that's how they are? Is all im getting from these ignorant comments

For this specifically, not seeing it to be "fitting" I feel isn't about the urban concept, but the underwear. We don't have a problem with baggy sweats and a hoodie. A relaxed Claudette was smart and I personally think the artwork was great! Gave artist kudos when they posted it...

We(those who loved her innocence) just don't agree that her g-string showing fits her character. I love Claudette's lore and greatly appreciated a female survivor who didn't have mostly sexualized cosmetics. There are enough flashy outfits for the other ladies. My Jane Romero Red Carpet Event concept( which obviously didn't win lol) had her mid-drift showing. So I'm not even entirely against revealing garments. We just have a certain appreciation to ones characteristics and lore. And G-strings weren't in the books for Claudette. Literally. Lol.

I know it sounds so closed minded, but I just want to protect her purity. Just hers. And maybe Dwight's lol.

And the killer you played before exiting the game is the one at the campfire.

That one I actually knew. So why I didn't pay attention to the survivors, I have no idea! Lol

  • @brokedownpalace said:

Also I don't like Claudette in a g string. I don't think that fits her personality at all.

I absolutely agree!! I even told the artist on the original post. But g string won. I was also displeased with the Jane concept that one. As fitting as it was, I was better ones. But that one I'm also bitter about bc my concept of Jane didn't win lmao

It is clear as day that this patch is.... Eh, pretty bad for Survivors. The map changes were necessary but not the deadzones. Hooks are even more viable due to how open the maps are with zero structure for defense. How do we work around this guys? Lets try to help each other adapt to these awful changes because we know this isn't going to be addressed anytime soon.

Any tips/advice you guys got from playing today? What did you find deemable to compensate for the lack of structures?

Interesting. I do survivor main, but have only done 4 killer matches since the update, and my bf complained about survivors being able to better loop. I didn't do any worse than I normally do so idk. Lol. I'm about to start survivor and keep this in mind.

  • I'm rank 7 seven right now. The highest rank I've been so far with a little over a year of playing experience. So I wouldn't consider myself veteran at all, but I do play better than my boyfriend. Lol... I imagine the only real problem with the rank matching would be a 1-4 rank killer against 13 and up rank survivors. It has happened but not often. I don't mind who I'm ranked with ever bc I try to learn from each game. I pay attention to other survivors and see if they're at least as altruistic as I am. If not, I stay away until I find a time to help. It's not ever my goal to not help a survivor. But if they are playing stupidly, I keep a distance. As for being matched with a higher rank killer, I learn their techniques for each one. Well at least try to. Sometimes they are unpredictable. Sometimes it's absolutely frustrating, but i usually find myself upset at the other survivors for lack of good game play or getting kicked out of a match that just started. I think to myself, if this was really happening, these killers should and would be doing anything they want to get their kill. Even farming and grieving. I don't complain about those types of things. Behaviors. Although it sucks when you find a Dwight pointing in your direction for the killer to get you. If it was real life, I wouldn't doubt someone giving up the location of someone else, so that they themselves would escape. You know? Just take them as lessons. And always remember it's just a game. There is always that next match to do better in, to pay better attention to and learn. But again this could be a biased opinion because I absolutely love this game. I play damn near everyday and it's the only game I currently play since finishing God of War. Good luck with your matches!! Don't give up!

I'm tired I really am of being bullied and taunted by these toxic survivors who have infinate magic power over killers.

Facing people 15 ranks away from me. 3 minute gens are done I only have one hook... screw this. I watch this guy on the hook and they dead hard and tank hits for saves and even if I outplay them and pull the next guy off its Decisive strike again ! Its sprint burst and adrenaline again. Heals heals heals mindless scooby doo loops around a hay bale and I cant run stab puke or hatchet anyone because like a superhuman they dodge every wind up. They tbag past every throw

I sweat and I sweat and follow every youtube I win chases faster I use ultra rare add ons i slug I tunnel i camp i play dirty oh so ######### dirty. I practice shots in kyf

2 healthstates with 4 perks and a tool each that instantly heal someone who already has 3 hookk lives and I'm suppose to kill people who can literally waste an entire minute circling an haybail.

i tape my tv for hatchet sights

Theres no end to these second chance perks and saves.

I set timers for hooks. I poor over every inch of these forums and the wiki and memorized perks.

    There is no horror anymore.

    There is no balance.

    Loops are frustrating, gens fly.

I've got 2k-3k hours since launch longtime player longtime payer and I'm out.

Your survivors ques just got alittle bit longer

    Use Mmmmmbear Trap Boy

all of them have a unique animition that fits to their personality. Thats pretty cool to see and shows how much love is giving to each individual survivor. I bet noone noticed that xD. What is your favorite or funniest survivor that sits there?

Mine is quentin where he almost falls asleep and then wakes himself up in the last second, its just funny to see that :D

Or kate where she is bobbing the head at a rythm for a new song she probably planned to make.

Also I would like to see this at a closer look honestly!

Of course we noticed!! I love seeing Feng And Jane. Feng with her laid back chill, almost seeming ready still to make a quick movement though. Jane with her great posture and nail checking.

Dead Hard and Sprint Burst are probably the most used Survivor perks in the game.

The main two I always use is urban evasion and spine chill. I have escaped a good number of matches with those two. Tenacity is awesome, but you still need another survivor to help unless you have Bill's unbreakable perk. Which I do not have a survivor with all 4 yet.and I stretch the word yet! Lol

  • @PapiQuentin_ said:

What the HELL is wrong with you randoms? I've had 4 games in a row now when I've been constantly being chased and they're all hiding.

Do a goddamn gen for god sake!!!

Why is everyone wanting to hide nowadays? Just do a gen whilst someone is constantly being chased.

My most recent game started off with me doing a single gen through Ruin against Oni. Me and the random Steve were constantly being chased and taking pressure off the others to the point where Steve died on his first hook because I was busy being chased and the other two hiding. I then go down to see both of the randoms hiding. I get saved by a Nea and then she Urban evades away. The Oni is now back on me, I go down again to see them STILL HIDING. Because nothing was gonna get done I let go during Struggle to then spectate and see that they both went down straight away to his Blood Fury.

Is anyone else having similar circumstances? I can't be the only one right?

No, actually. When I'm killer, all the survivors are super altruistic, gang up on me, and taunt. Lol. It's annoying but I don't give up. As survivor, it's different. Some are helping, some are hiding. Some DC, some make decisions that help kill everyone. I stick to myself as long as rituals or challenges don't require me too, and of course when another survivor needs help and if it isn't a bad idea. Lol

The best things to use, imo, are the Yellow or Purple sacks so that you can carry more Traps at once and the Tar Bottle so that your traps are extremely hard to see. The biggest trick with Trapper though is to place your traps in no traditional places. Instead of placing it right next to a window or a pallet, place it where the survivors are going to run their loops. They'll jump the window or not drop the pallet, take a right, and bam, they get trapped. Also, being able to carry 2 or 3 traps at once is very nice when you have a survivor hooked. You can place 2 or 3 around the hooked survivor and usually catch someone just after the unhook. Especially if there are only a few avenues for the rescuer to take to get to the hook. The Tar Bottle, or a weaker trap darkener, really really helps.

    Good Luck!!

    Yes!!! The loops!! Lol

    Hello Trapper Pros

I am about to do this challange and i am wondering what i should use as addons and offering? Please give me some input how you would do it / how you did it.

    Kind regards

Add one that darkens The traps, and one that allows an extra bear trap

  • I agree. I don't care what kind of dodging or disconnecting that's happening, it needs to be handled. I wait longer in the lobby just for someone to DC shortly after it's started. It's ridiculously annoying. I still win sometimes as survivor main, but that's besides the point. Lol. Sometimes the match is way longer or really short without all players. Just makes me sad.

  • @SpinZard said:

Just Had a game with one of my friends and we were falling into traps left right hand centre because you can basically not see them.

Does anyone else have a problem with how dark these traps are I find them pretty much invisible.

They are so noticable without the add-on and can be detected using a perk, so this is helpful. Doesn't always work, though. Not with survivor perk. The trick any how is to distract them with a chase.

I just completed the killer path in tome 4 and none were too bad except one the last one (5 basement hooks in one game) which would probably be the worst one if not for the fact that you didn't need to kill anyone so...

But that challenge and the one im on now both have a similar issue, although its not impossible, although ive done it before, it is incredibly annoying. Not only will the survivors just start avoiding the basement because they know what youre doing, but every single time theres a DC. Theres a DC in MOST of my games, when im just hooking people in the basement most goes up to 99%. I not only have to hope that the survivors will stay around the basement but that they will also not DC before their final hook. Oh and of course youll have to be able to get them down there in the first place

My only other issue is the one where you have to finish 4 gens with dark sense.....why. The only way i can possibly see this happening is if the killer is afk and no one is rushing gens. You could play really immersed but then youre hiding from the killer while your team is likely doing gens without you, you have to hope the killer stays on someone else that wont go down quickly

ALL of these challenges would be fixed if they didn't need to be completed in 1 game, even if you doubled it to 8 basement kills or 8 gens with dark sense it would still be doable, but right now both of those challenges are noy do much of a "challenge" as they are just hoping other people do what you need them to do.

I dont except a change before the holidays are over but maybe, hopefully in time for the double BP event

My only complaint are all the DCs. I keep saying there needs to be a bigger penalty.

Whether or not @GrootDude provided a poor example, the point still stands. Haddonfield is terribly unbalanced. Anyone that believes otherwise is a fool.

    Feng cuz cutie

    Jane cuz dat booty

We call Jane "Thickness". Lol she's the only one with a nickname. That chest though too, my gawd. Lmao

  • I dig the "unlikely to survive" type. Dwight, Claudette, and Jane. I love the noises of each one, for all their actions. Falling, getting hit, hooked, cleansing. I love their cosmetics, and their back stories. I personally like looking at Dwight out there in the field, Jane is a bad mutha, and sweet Claudette can be brave. I main Dwight and Jane at the moment. Before it was Nea and Jane. Then before that it was Nea and Feng. And before that it was Feng and Jake. Francis, Jane, Laurie, Yui, Jake, and Feng have the best personal perks though in my opinion, for my type of game play. I just love this game so much. It's literally the only game that will be on, practically all day, even when I'm busy cleaning. Lol. I despise Yui's nails. Lol.
