  • i can only see swf being stronger than ever and solo survivors get hit very hard with these nerfs.

  • i will never be stronger than before because the distance effect has been removed and the only thing that's there is the borrowed time effect of 1 second which is easily baited. this perk has been totally destroyed. along with some heavy survivor nerfs and big killer buffs.

  • Yeah solo survivor totally ruined now. holy cow they made some fat nerfs to survivors this time. as if repearing gens isnt boring enough and survivors can't bother with it unless u're in a group of 4. gonna be some fun times ahead

I truly want to see these survivors that want to waste their dead hard for an extra 3 seconds of looping, instead of dropping the pallet earlier and saving the dead hard for later, when it could potentially extend the chase for much longer than 3 seconds.

Your story is absolutely not my experience at all. I get survivors that dead hard towards my rushing Blight, which might as well be an automatic 3rd health state most of the time. I get survivors that wait until my Nurse blinks directly on top of them before they dead hard. I get survivors that run from one tile to another, and use dead hard if they need the extra distance to reach the next tile. I get survivors that dead hard when they misplay a loop.

I also get a lot of survivors that can magically dead hard my lunge attacks, even when they are looking forwards. Since BHVR is aware of the dead hard hack, I’m hoping the rework will be something that isn’t hacked so easily.

what is the dead hard hack?

  • i have almost no problems during the event. maybe because i'm in europe and people aren't even close to the toxic levels as in North America.

Buffs/Nerfs aren't the problem here. The design is just straight up bad and that can't be fixed by tweaking numbers. Ultimately the current design means that Legion decimates newer/weaker players and is near useless on competent ones.

How so? To down anyone unless the other side really screws up the Legion depends 100% on m1. You can loop or do whatever you want to Legion more so then any other killer provided you are wounded. Not saying you are wrong because of course it is a solid option but by that definition many killers are played against the same way.

strange cause there seem to be a lot of players that love to play legion as killer.

To be honest I think that some survivors don't really understand how to play against him. I'm a Legion main for like 2 years now. So I know his all weakneses and strenghts. The biggest counter to The Legion is just holding W. I played something about 3 days ago 3 games in a row against The Legion and I got hit by Feral Frenzy once.

    How to counter Legion:

Holding W, Doing some type of Window techs (which are really easy to do against Legion, because he has no collision after vaulting in FF), Pallet techs. His lack of tracking is really powerful for survivors. You just need to break line of sight, make him confused a bit and he doesn't know what to do.

When you are doing gen with other survivor, when you see just Legion is comming just split up in different directions. When you do it, It's almost impossible that he will chain your both. The problem with Legion right now, is that he is too much reliant on how survivors play.

against Bad Survivors: Legion is strong

against Good survivors: Legion is really bad

Also I think that something should be changed with this spillting up. I don't think that survivors should be able to make a killers power actually unusable, especially when it can't down. Maybe giving an ability to start it when 50% power gauge is charged? Less map dependence, Doesn't change anything when playing against bad survs, but will for sure help when playing against good survivors. Also changing fatigue to 3 seconds, and Legion would be mostly fine then. At least I think so. Oh and also Legion has a really big TR, you see on HUD when Deep Wound has been applied, so you always see when He is in Frenzy.

So, why survivors hate to play against The Legion:

    • Doesn't know how to counter them
    • When they don't counter them, they have to hold m1 pretty often

Why killers get frustrated when playing The Legion:

    • Map Dependent
    • His power is all about survivors making mistakes
    • Too long fatigue
    • Long power charge time
    • He is not that fast comparing to some other killers, for example victor.
    • Very easy to counter chaining his hits.

didnt they already buff legion recently? his fatigue time got reduced and he can down someone after 4 stabs if i'm right

  • so, either show us the portraits of the actual survivor faces and killer face, AND/OR show an indication (in the form of colors, visuals or numerical) of our MMR rating. that's what most people want. why is it so hard?!?

  • Just show us the hot darn MMR score. so we know who we lost against. what score that dwight had who did nothing in the game. and the nea who was looping the killer... it's not reall y that hard. you don't even had to give us super concrete numbers, give us visuals that indicate the rank. i don't care. give us something

  • i dont care about surviving, cause it will only increase my mmr and then i will encounter sweat lord killers, no thanks, i rather have teh games fun on the survivor side. so yeah if i can loop the killer aound and have some flashlight saves i had a good match most of the time

  • i'm curious to know why everyone hates dead hard now. it's been around since the beginning. i heard killers just say "bait it out" it's no problem for me. and now i only hear how frustrated they are....what has changed? you can still bait it out why is everyone on the hate train?

Im only playing Dredge and yeah he is Good but get stomped by Good SWF Teams ppl know how to Counter histeleports and also know how to Counter Anti Loop

    He is mid B Tier

i don't know but his remnant "anti" loop power feels a bit weak. when i teleport to it, it always get disoriented and the survivor is out of my way. any tips on how to place it the best way

  • Another problem with this already pretty weak (but fun) killer is that the selection of lockers is very annoying because there are so many highlighted lockers to choose. I've often misclicked because of this. extremely annoying. Also a lot of dead zones where no lockers are in a wide area. also very annoying. the 1 lock trick for double lockers is just as u guessed another annoying feature. but guess what the devs like to add a lot of annoyance to the game because of "balancing"reasons.

  • he's pretty weak against decent survivors. has a lot of maps where lockers are very badly placed around the map. even have many deadzones where u can't teleport because no locker. he's fun to play against but he's weak.

  • he's very map dependend because a lot of maps dont have good locker distribution and it's very annoying to play when all lockers are totally out of reach of gens. he's very weak against competent survivors. a good noob stumper but that are most killers imo. low B tier at best in Mid-High mmr

  • Just give us an Alien chapter already and include Sigourney weaver as the survivor. done

  • regarding the dredge, i saw that when you teleport to a locker and a survivor was close to it, it grabbed the survivor. I didnt see this in the description of his power?

Just run noed with 3 gen defence perks. Strategically camp, slug and make sure to tunnel someone out early. That's how they do it in comp, where there are 100+ rules to make the game somewhat balanced. Survivors dont give you anything when you're having a bad or unfair game. You'll get tbagged and 4x 'gg ez baby killer' in the endgame chat.

I'd love this game to be designed around chasing people. But then people just say "You're called a killer, not a chaser" or a different empty argument like that. It's unwinnable. Just join the dark side, play to win.

The chase is the best part of this game. it's all about the chase, cause then both survivor and killer is having a good time. Survivor doesnt like to hang on a hookr for minutes on end and then just instantly get downed and put out of the game. When survivor gen rush, killer will hate his life and the game. So yes i agree that it's all about the chase and it should be promoted in every possible way

Using it for distance is uncounterable with most Killers

But why do i only hear this perk being so problematic in recent times, and not in the first years of the game? the perk hasn't really changed except for the hit validation

  • all new perks are mediocre at best and garbage at worst , these perks have a combition of the forementioned

  • it depends on what they are gonna change exactly with dead hard.everyone automatically thinks it's gonna become useless.. but it might just be "different" but still very good
