From one of the devs on twitter today's update, specifically the optimizations to anims and sounds should have improved framerates
The devs don't play their own game on console or they'd see the same things we're seeing. And then they don't believe us unless we have video evidence and tell us to deal with it when we tell them it's difficult to do on console.
I play on XBox Series X and since the 6.0 update, the game health has been awful. Longer than normal loading screen times (2-4 minutes main loading screen after starting the game, between 30 seconds to 2 minutes loading a match), lag, stuttering, significant framerate drops, audio lag, ect.
Changing sounds does not improve framerates. Animations do very little. What does improve framerates is making sure content is released with little to no bugs/glitches, that locations/maps aren't cluttered with unnecessary objects, and codes aren't trying to overwrite other codes. My guess is there is a lot of codes trying to overwrite other codes. You have 4 players with a large list of possible perks, 1 killer with about the same list of perks, killer abilities have to compete with said perks and vice versa with survivors, while competing with objects in the map (generators, totems, ect). My overall point is the game is starting to get cluttered with code and that can cause some of the most issues in framerates, freezes, lag, ect.
They need to either fix their codes which may not ever be possible depending on how many are conflicting. or start a whole new game from scratch which would be the easier solution.
-
My biggest issue is I used the green flashlight which increases 20% accuracy, with the add-on that increases accuracy by another 40% and still ended up with the flashlight pointing directly at the ground. I had a killer who let me test it out on them. They stood still and I couldn't get it to aim at all. It would bounce off their face and into a random direction.
As someone who is currently in college for my bachelor's in game design, I can't believe this was released being as broken as it is. But I guess the Halloween outfit update was more important than making sure content is released without flaws. Profit over game health.
-
The game is very competitive right now and it's difficult to have "fun" anymore. Killer is much easier and solo survivor is extremely difficult. My only advice is try it out and find out for yourself. I played for a bit recently and had to quit immediately because of how sweaty games get as solo survivor and how easy/boring killer is now.
-
General balance and cheaters.
-
I somehow get matched with really good killers at my skill level but really crappy teammates. One or two survivors always die before 4 to 3 gens are left. I always end up getting hatch, which doesn’t increase mmr. I played for several hours over the weekend and won maybe 4 matches by getting out the exit gates. One was because the killer let me out that way. So I’m stuck with the same batch of players who I generally run into n a weekly basis. Unless you’re in a SWF, you have little to no chance of increasing your mmr as a survivor. Until they change how mmr is gained or lost, this is a never ending cycle of bad teammates in solo q.
-
DS shouldn't deactivate after one use or have 5 second stun. Ruin in it's current state should either have 200% regression or go back staying up until destroyed or blessed.

It doesn't work well enough, which is why I would actually be in favor of increasing it.
DC once? 5 minutes.
DC twice? 15 minutes.
DC thrice? Yeah, you're done for the day.
DC multiple times in your next play session? You're done for a week.
Again, if we can get a good filler bot solution in place, we can ditch the penalty. But until then, drop the hammer on casual disconnectors.
I can think of plenty of solutions that would be nice if they were plausible (like an anti cheat that disables the penalty for DCing from a match where cheating is detected), but they seem kind of pie-in-the-sky.
That's insane. I think we should still have DC penalties but not that harsh. Especially when people want to DC because of cheaters, which they should be allowed to do. I think they should relax those penalties a bit.

I am not an expert when it comes to the technical side of cheating, but it seems like the countermeasure cheaters would attempt to deploy is to prevent endgame collapse from triggering. I think max game time of 25-30 min just nips the whole thing in the bud.
Well, if we knew that most games end at 30 minutes, then I'd say that's a good idea. But like I said, the devs have this information, not us, and they chose 1 hour.
As for end-game, I think the devs are looking to make sure these happen on the server-side which is out of the hands of cheaters.

5 minutes would not be enough to deter someone from ruining every game they are in
Multiple reports on said account that continues to DC might. Something the devs could look into. I'd just hate to see people be penalized because they don't want to play with a cheater.

So it sounds like max game time is going to be reduced to an hour or less. My question is what people think the max game time should be.
My opinion is that there is no reason a game of DBD should go beyond 30 minutes. I am not sure what the global average is, but the overwhelming majority of my matches are less then 15 minutes, most are 8-12 minutes.
So I would set the max game time at 30 minutes. I could even see a case for 20-25 minutes.
They mentioned end game collapse being 5 minutes tops and game in general an hour with later updates. So I'm guessing they already have seen several games go to 30 minutes and figured it's not a good idea. I really think they should just change the DC penalty to only 5 minutes every time you DC, not increasing the amount the more you DC. That way someone who only DCs every time there is a cheater has to wait 5 minutes, but those who DC all the time because whatever the reason (not happy at losing?) would be waiting 5 plus 5 plus 5 and so on.

I'll tunnel if the survivor is already injured and I feel like I have a chance to down them, but I don't go on for too long. Or if they are the weakest survivor and I'm struggling with the others, I'll work towards getting them out of the game quickly for pressure. I also proxy camp if my build or killer relies on it. I don't face camp and I ignore survivors who want to be chased instead of doing gens till the end of the match. I also play both killer and survivor so I know when it's acceptable and when it's not. As killer, if I see someone get unhooked, I don't usually go for them unless there is an opportunity to down them again without just endlessly chasing them. For example, accidentally running into them again not to long after being unhooked, which is usually what happens. Some survivors get mad because they think I'm tunneling when I'm not. It's just bad luck on their part.
Very few times I'll face camp when I down the a survivor after all 5 gens are done, but I don't literally stand their face to face with them. Also, they'd have to be hooked near a gate and I sort of face camp/proxy camp in a way. The only time I'll literally face camp someone is after I wreck their team and they are the last survivor and I hook them... AND they were constantly clicking their flashlight the entire game, being outright annoying and not doing anything productive. Play toxic? Get toxic back. And lose in the process.
-
First, I don't think blindness stuns should be stacked. Flashlight with stun grenades and such can really run a game, plus it can hurt the player's eyes if they are sensitive. I don't think a basekit Lightborn is the solution, but there needs to be work done on this because it does end up being abused at times. Maybe have a cooldown after the killer is blinded. Like 1 second after it's over, they can be blinded again. Not too long but not to short. Just so it doesn't stack or chain into what seems like an endless blind.

Whilst I completely understand the points you are making and appreciate it's not always the easiest thing to record video. You can do this from consoles (unfortunately not Switch), following the procedure here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/66835/recording-evidence-for-your-player-report
Thanks for the info! I'll play around with this. I'm also glad you understand and hopefully someday this won't be much of a hassle. I really think one of the main issues is that I can send a report via Edge on my Series X, but there's no copy and paste function which is what makes it more difficult. Of course, that's an Xbox issue so I don't fault BHVR for it. If I was able to copy and paste things with much more ease on the console, I'd think it'd be less of an issue. Plus now I know how to easily upload videos to Youtube. Thanks again!

I think we're pretty clear in the post, that we don't want to give too much information away on things that can assist people to cheat. Giving an anticipatory timeline on what we're working on and what we wish to implement is probably as much information as we're able to give.
Keeping things vague, is something that we sadly have to do - we feel the frustration with regards to cheating the same way you do, we play the game, we see these matches happening. It's a never ending circle, and one that we're doing our best to counter and improving a lot of our own procedures to deal with things in the process.
I would say you guys gave good information, if not, more than I expected. I think most of us just wanted clarification alone that it was being worked on. Simple as that. We're glad to know that this is an ongoing process and we hope to have a lot of these wild and crazy cheats out of the game. Like spamming multiple survivors and killers in a match like I saw the other day. Regardless, what was provided was more than enough. Thank you!

We do state about our reporting procedures in our game rules https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules for players that you suspect of cheating, video evidence would be required to supplement the in-game report.
Unfortunately, that's not really possible with most players like myself on console, especially for those of us who don't stream content. There needs to be a better way of reporting cheaters or even suspected cheaters than needing video evidence. I've played other competitive games and never was required video, so I'm sure there's a way. I really hope you guys get this fixed because the reporting feature is part of the problem. A lot of people are reporting without video, mostly because they can't or like me, don't feel it's worth spending 20ish minutes to report a cheater because we don't have easy access to provide video evidence. There has to be a better way.

In this specific instance, it could be due to Devour sometimes not deactivating when it's cleansed. This is a bug, not a cheater's work.
That I did not know and I hope they are aware of this then. We had 1 gen left and everyone else was on second hook state, one dead, and I hadn't been hooked yet and I'm not great at looping but I figured I'd try and keep the killer busy so the last gen could get done. Died instead. 😪
-
I just wish someone would tell us if in-game reports on console alone are enough for BHVR to investigate a potential cheater. I decided to jump back in the game last night and went against a Pig who had Pimento and Devour Hope. We literally cleansed all the totems and despite doing so, Devour Hope was still active. When I finally ran into the Pig, I was downed instantly and killed. 8 totem cleanses, Devour Hope triggered at 5 tokens after we already cleansed all the totems. Pimento was triggered after we destroyed all the totems. Not to mention the Pig knew where everyone was without haven't any aura reading perks.
I say this because a lot of cheaters are subtle and yes, maybe this wasn't a cheater, but I'd at least like to know that my in-game reports matter alone. Many of us players aren't going to have video evidence or can't send a ticket on the website as easily as PC players can. So if someone from BHVR can confirm if the in-game reporting feature works by itself and we shouldn't have to do all this extra work to report cheaters or players who are sus, then I'm fine with the direction anti cheat is going in.

Actually the math is additive, not multiplicitive. It works like this. 45s/(100% or 1.0) and if you get +200% bonus from Unbreakable and Exponential that becomes 45s/(300% or 3.0) or 15s.
If you honestly expect people to run UB/B:E/NM and say Soul Guard or Power Struggle as their 4th perk, then I got this sick trick to counter that. It's called the spacebar. You don't even need a perk like Shattered Hope to counter it. It comes basekit with every killer.
Duh, lol. I was going with both based off of the 45... 4.0 Not thinking that adding the second perk would be half of the first half. But I get what you're saying and that sounds about right. I'm not really great with these percentages on percentages.
I do expect people to run them, but I didn't say without concensquence. If you have a trick, then go for it.
-
There should be a basekit cooldown if it's going to be 45 seconds base, 22 with Unbreakable, 11 with Unbreakable and Exponential, and so on. The fact that they can pick themselves over and over will be abused. People are saying they can free up a perk slot... Do you really think they will at this point? Did killers user other perks when they increased gen times and gen regression with kicking them? Nope. Don't see survivors doing anything different here either.
Either it should be 45 seconds regardless of recovery perks, or have a cooldown because the use of recovery perks is going to ruin the game.
-
@Gamall said:
45 seconds is enough time to press the space bar to pick up the survivor and bring him to a hook, don't you think?
It's actually 11 seconds with Boon: Exponential and Unbreakable together. Add No Mither, 10 seconds. throw in a survivor being downed next to a pallet and other survivors are crowding it. Happens more than you think.
-
I wouldn't mind it if it was longer than 45 seconds, didn't synergize with recovery perks and maybe couldn't be used all the time throughout the match. With Exponential and Unbreakable, you can get back up in 11 seconds. There's the new meta right there. This wasn't thought out seriously.

These questions are a bad joke right? They are not serious right? Because if not then this is a really hard a** move.
"When playing as a killer how frustrating is playing with a survivor who is hacking?"
Oh no issue at all why do you ask? It's totaly fine to play against someone who can end the Match with 1 Button press or hold me hostage bacause the game is programmed by 5 year olds who can't program a anti cheat that works.
I want to take the survey. And I too hope it's a joke because that's just out right stupid.

Basekit slugging changes were necessary. The PTB is here to test and balance it accordingly
These changes were needed because “Certain killers” were far too strong at slugging
Basekit, fine. But 45 seconds and then with Unbreakable and Exponential bringing it down to 11 seconds is to meta. They already gave meta BT basekit with stackable perks. Let's just add another meta basekit to survivors and I'm sure survivors will still complain.
-
So, with Unbreakable and Boon: Exponential, they can get up in 11 seconds? Wouldn't that be meta? Imagine a bully squad.... Oh god this is terrible.

Perhaps a stupid question: Isn't there anything within the data of the match, even without video, that would show cheats in action? Like some kind of extra or altered code that would be a red flag?
There should be. There should literally be rules in place in the programming logic that dictates what is in bounds and what is out of bounds, what's allowed and what isn't, ect.

I very rarely encounter cheaters, I have maybe 3 times in my 4 years of playing. Depends on the region I guess, idk where these people encountering all these cheaters are playing but, I never see them.
I mostly cross paths with players with TTV in their names on both killer and survivor, thus there's bound to be a cheater in the match. I'm in the USA and most are usually subtle cheaters until they're caught and then they go full throttle. If I had to guess, I'd run into at least 1 cheater a day if I was to play daily. I quit playing last week after running into 3 in a row which I believe was the same person although not sure why they were matching with me, another survivor, not streaming. But they used the same name and outfit. Who knows. It's probably region and who you're playing with/against.
-
@Reddy said:
I play for 1-2 months and I got red rank last month, and I didn't meet even one cheater. What do you have to do to meet them?
Ranks mean nothing. Winning a lot of matches so your MMR brings you to mid to high tier is where the cheaters are. Ranks don't raise your MMR. Escapes and kills do, plus the matches have to last longer than 5 minutes. I've played for a year now and I've been running into them for the past 4 months. I also run into SWFS and bully squads, which some also use cheats. Once your matches start to become difficult is when you start to run into cheaters. Some are subtle cheaters who don't want to be caught because they're playing to win. If they get caught, then they hold the game hostage. Others are just blatant, out in the open cheaters who are doing so to promote the cheating software so others will buy it. If you're not a streamer, you'll most likely run into subtle cheaters. The best way I gauged it is when I started playing with other survivors with TTV in their name. That's when I started noticing cheaters almost every match.

So I wanna watch DBD and then when I watch it I see many streamers not playing dead by daylight because of cheaters ruining their experiences. So they are not playing DBD until you fix the anti cheat. There is a lot of cheaters that target other content creators like YouTubers, fog whisperers, and even twitch streamers.
Its time that you fix this damn bug or else DBD will be dead unless you fix it. If you ban a hacker they also have alts too.
It's finally time for these people to be heard and I wanna see that anti cheat to get fully developed BHVR. The cheaters are ruining the content creator's experiences, and we need these fog whisperers to do these videos or the game will be dead.
I've literally given up at this point. They're not answering anyone on this other than telling us to report the player in game and send a ticket on their website with video evidence. I quit playing last week, and I think everyone should follow suit. There's no point in playing a game rampant with cheaters and no response from the devs, not even a mention that they are working on it. If the devs can't communicate to the community that it's simply being handled, then why should we continue to stress ourselves out playing the game with cheaters.
Also, there are really good anti-cheats out there, and I'm not sure why they aren't being utilized. Some developers even have teams dedicated to finding and resolving cheating in their games. For a game that has so many licenses with major franchises like having Sadako, Freddy, Myers, ect... You'd think they'd put game security first and foremost. But I guess new content is more important? We'll never know because the devs won't be open to communication with their consumers. So as consumers, we shouldn't have to keep spending money to keep the company afloat and definitely not waste our time using a product that has a HUGE security issue on its hands.

game reporting alone does literally nothing, for some reason. so yeah i would just give up
I figured. I actually quit playing about a week ago because the cheating is getting ridiculous and it's to much for me to report every single cheater. Fact is, I don't even stream, nor should I have to just to have video evidence and go through the hassle of reporting cheaters. Game developers should be pleasing their consumers, and right now this game is not in a pleasing state. I really hope they have something in the works to fix this because I've seen games die because of rampant cheaters. This is one game I do not wish to see go down the same path.

Anonymous mode doesn't really change anything with regards to reporting.
You still need to make an in-game report against the player - this flags the match to us and links us the player.
Then send your additional evidence (the video) to our Support team as normal - you do not need the ID of the person that you are reporting in order to complete this form. We are able to find the information that you have previously given us in-game.
What about console players such as myself? I can't provide video evidence every single time I run unto cheaters and right now there are too many. Sure, if I wanted to spend half an hour per report but that's really just a waste of time. Is in game reporting alone enough, especially with the amount of cheaters right now?

Valtiel is not a killer tho... He's the helper of god and the symbol of rebirth...
Another Silent Hill would be nice, and tbh I would like to have Alessa as the killer. Her power would be as in the first movie with the barbwire + Being able to move to the Otherworld. Even if not Alessa, the possibilities with Silent Hill are endless, yet it needs to be handled with care since Silent Hill is paradise and everything about it should be perfect.
True, but I was thinking as the Entity as God, so Valtiel helps God? He's probably my favorite character from the series which is why I picked him. Definitely a lot of choices to pick from and I hope we see more content as well.
-
SpookyLoopz also put out a statement agreeing with Otz, all while being held hostage for over an hour by a cheater. I quit playing after cheaters and overall toxic messages I received after each match. Not worth the stress.
-
I'm really sick of the misuse of the term "toxicity". Are they messaging you with hateful, inappropriate messages? Are they sending you death threats or telling you to harm yourself? If not, then it's not toxic. Yes, the community is toxic. But not just killers, and it's not about camping or tunneling. Yes, those are frustrating and if you have a decent team, you can actually turn the game around in your team's favor. I've played countless times where I've had a camping killer and the survivors swarm the hook together at full health to get the survivor off of it. Tunneling, someone at full health should run in and take a hit slowing the killer down. Especially someone that is good at looping. Learn to play as a team and stop this nonsense of the game being toxic only because the killer is camping or tunneling. It's a winning strategy if played right but there are counters to it. Toxicity is the hateful messages players send each other after the match has ended. Done deal.
-
Both Otzdarva and SpookyLoopz came out with statements in the past 24 hours hoping the devs will listen. Right now, I won't play the game due to toxicity and cheating. Both suck and I'm tired of being stressed out over a game when I should be enjoying it. I'm not even a streamer or a fog whisperer and I get sniped, cheaters and just overall toxicity like they do. I'm sure many others do as well. SpookyLoopz gives some great suggestions and I really hope the devs listen because until cheating and toxicity (meaning hateful messages after game including wishing harm on others) is taken care of, I can't play this game anymore. I'll stick around in the forums from time to time because I do love this game without these two issues. I could care less about game balance, new content, perks, maps, bugs, ect at this point. Cheating and toxicity need to be dealt with and I hope these messages make an impact.
https://youtu.be/txc2EQtD2yY https://youtu.be/UcWlJBf5XuQ -
Hopefully they'll fix the cheater/hacker issues first. Since they promised us this last year and never truly delivered because it's still happening and all we're told is to record video of what happened and send in a ticket, which I have yet to find another game that does this with hacker issues.

-
Even if they don't communicate it, just do something to stop it already. Even just saying it's been handled when it is would be enough. We don't need to know the details, just know that it's being dealt with, and right now we clearly see it isn't.

In a way I'm glad he feels the same way I do about this game nowadays. Not glad that he feels this way, but the fact that I don't feel alone. I also don't stream and I still ran into similar issues he complained about. And I get it. He tried to be the voice of the community and the devs ignored him (and many others) and it's frustrating. I really hope the devs hear him out because this is where we all are with this game. Fed up.
I'd love to keep playing but the game needs some major overhauls... Cheating overall. Auto dead-hard, stream-sniping, subtle cheats in general... This is how games die and I would hate to see DBD die as well but here we are. Not enough is being done to quell the cheats and it feels like it's not a priority. But like I said, I hope the devs have something up their sleeve.
Then there's the killers who have never been fixed. Freddy, Sadako, ect. And solo Q is a mess. Hate messages on console that never stop (and won't without anonymous mode).
Main point, I don't feel safe playing this game like Otz says. So now I'm playing solo games as this game has literally ruined my online gaming experience.

The Borg from Star Trek.

Other - Another Silent Hill Chapter with Walter Sullivan as the killer. Or maybe Valtiel or God... I don't know who would be best suited.

Occassionally I'll encounter survivors who do this after being the first one downed with 2 gens left. At that point, I'm even more confused. The game is looking like an easy 4-man escape and they just throw it for everyone else.
If I had to speculate, people who do it because they were hooked first were either already tilted or have pre-conceived notions about a particular killer and are not interested in sticking around to have those notions proved right or wrong.

This is some next level victim-blaming.
Where am I going to "take it up with the devs?"
I'm not an influencer. I don't have the type of platform that would catch the devs' attention. Even if I did, it doesn't seem like that would work.
The Feedback section of these forums is a wasteland. If you post directly to Feedback your post just dies with zero traction, invalidating the issue by making it look unrelatable and/or unproblematic.
People don't feel like their voice is being heard, so they take action.
We see this in the real world; verbal outcry turns to protests turns to rioting. It is a natural escalation process, and it is all symptomatic of a larger problem. In this case, the game.
Submit a ticket. They literally have this feature and it's more than just for reporting bugs or cheaters. And if you don't like the game because you keep getting downed/hooked/killed, then don't play. Why spend so much time ruining the game for others? Multiple reports will result in a ban against an account for griefing, which is what this is.

Then you are the problem. If you have a problem with some part of the game, take it up with devs respectfully. If you take it out on the other players by disconnecting, suiciding on hook, AFKing, sandbagging, etc, you are the problem in that game.
Blatant cheater holding a game hostage? Sure. Game-breaking bug like being permanently stuck in a hill? Sure.
Because you dislike the map? Because you dislike the other side's build(s)? Because you dislike the other side's character(s)/cosmetic(s)? Because you dislike something that happened in the game (eg, downed early/flashlight saved/gens done quickly/etc)? Because of literally any other non-cheater/game-breaking bug reason? You are the problem.
There's a really, really easy solution if you hate facing a part of this game that badly. Don't queue up.
By DCing/suiciding/AFKing/sandbagging/etc, you are actively ruining this game for the other 4 players just because you are incapable of handling facing some part of this game. Sure, you paid for this game for your own fun and aren't responsible for others, blah blah blah. But guess what? If every single person gave up the second they faced a part of the game that wasn't how they wanted it, you would not be getting to play out any games either.
Want to take up what you see as an issue with devs respectfully? Sure, go for it. All the power to you. When you're in a game? Either suck it up buttercup, or don't queue up at all. If you care that little about the experience of anyone except yourself, go play a single player game and don't ruin the game for the people that are mature enough to play through a match they queued up for.
Don't forget, "because you got hooked for the first time". I see this almost every single match where they suicide on hook instantly after their first down. It's like what is the point? Didn't give anyone time to go for the save. I mean, i'll do it if I don't see someone coming for the save just to see if I can get off but by then I realize my team doesn't want to save me which is another issue. But those who just trigger it into 2nd stage and miss the skill checks so nobody can get them is beyond me.

Hatch doesn't spawn until there is 1 survivor left. 2 really good snitching, hiding blendetts that did nothing the match can still be found. If someone isn't doing anything the entire match, killers have perks to be able to find them. There's also the crows. Plus the killer still won because they took down 3 survivors. That's +15 MMR points out of a total 20 you can earn in a match. Killer's earn MMR much more easily than survivors do. Survivors have to complete all 5 gens and escape out the gate to earn 20 points. If someone could confirm that hatch allows the survivor to gain any points whatsoever, then I'll retract my question. Until then, it still stands. A survivor who hid the entire game played skillfully according to the devs because that's how the game is programmed.

No. Hatch is consolation price. That's good enough.
Making it win would hurt the game especially in soloQ. Because playing better would mean getting meaner Blendetts that sabotage your chances to win as a team (ruining the game for everyone else).
You should play to win. Not play in a way to help killer
I'm talking about in terms with MMR. MMR is awarded up to a total of 20 pts per match. I think a hatch should count towards earning MMR points so a player isn't stuck playing with the same players who aren't as good as that player is. However, hatch rewards no MMR points leaving the player in the same spot they have been in. It also takes time and skill to find the hatch before the killer does. So no, it's not just a consolation prize, unless the killer gives said player the hatch. Plus, it'd bring back some use to the key which is basically dead in water right now.

I had teammates who would get killed at 5 gens, because they would divebomb a hook to unhook someone while the killer is still there and the killer bodying them all while Im across the map trying to do a gen (I see the shenanigans go down due to Kindred). Sometimes I have no choice but to try for a hatch.
Honestly, it doesnt matter what the game thinks is a win or not. You can consider the hatch a personal win. The killer didnt kill you and you got away despite all odds.
The game doesn't even determine it as a win when in those situations it should. I see teammates just leave others on the hook to die or suicide on first hook. One player shouldn't be punished because the other 3 players performed badly and it's not like we have a choice who we get queued with. I'd at least like this implemented until they have a fix for solo q's lack of communication and planning that SWFs get.

Hatch is a pity escape that is more about luck than skill. Being able to hide until you get hatch doesn’t mean you did well.
You honestly cannot hide waiting for hatch. The killer is literally looking for it as well. 9 out of 10 times it spawns either right by where the last survivor died or near the shack. A survivor shouldn't be punished for getting their first hook and dying on hook after everyone else has died. I was also suggesting that this be implemented until they fix the solo q issue.

Probably because it's not that important. SWFs arnt nearly that unstoppable as people make them out to be. Just because they're SWFs. Doesn't make everyone a god looper. You come across that VERY rarely.
Actually it is. They have comms and can plan out perks before the match. Solo q you have no idea who you're teaming up with, what perks they have, what they're doing during the match if they're being chased by the killer unless they are the obsession, you have a perk to see their aura or they are hit/downed. In a SWF, if a player sees the killer somewhere, they can announce where they are. It's not possible in solo q. Lack of communication is a huge hindrance to survival. Second is lack of planning.

I play both sides and my solo matches are fine for the most part.
I really don't think I'm in high MMR.
Yes teammates can be bad, but that's part of any team based game. It doesn't mean the games unbalanced, it just means people are dumb or just not god at the game, which isn't news.
Well, when 3 teammates die while 4 to 3 gens still need to be done, it's kind of hard to win at that point. I'm mediocre at looping, which is harder to do on console with a controller. But still I manage to escape chases more often than going down. But I wish they'd let the hatch count as a win because I end up getting that more often then just giving up.
