Matchmaking is definitely all over the place. I have ~4k hours myself. I'll have killer games where I sweat to 4k, and then the next game I'll 4k at 5 gens with ease. There's no consistency at all. As I've said in other threads, it seems like the devs have goals about queue times that were handed down from higher up, and they're going to hit those queue time goals at all costs.
As far as camping and tunneling goes, I feel like those mechanics need to change or solo needs some baseline communication/information of some kind to play around it. It can't be neither one. Kindred isn't a good answer to camping because it becomes exponentially less useful for every survivor that has it up to a total of 4, and you're severely lacking perks as a team if all 4 have Kindred.
Yeah but it's not really easy to get any points if the killer hooks you or your friend and just stands in front of you and - I guess that's the game now

There's been quite a few good suggestions to disable killer powers or make him weaker around the hook, or just disable hook grab, some of that could solve the issue with a bit of balancing and good thought about some system, but honestly, it seems like nobody really cares, mainly cause all the big streamers play killers and everyone listens only to big names out there

Why would I be? I mean if you become a streamer, it's a risk you gotta take.
They gave private profiles, hidden names and anonymous mode and even delayed matchmaking, idk... seems like streamers issue, 1% of playerbase. Rather deal with camping and tunneling, devs, that touches entire playerbase.

I play for 1-2 months and I got red rank last month, and I didn't meet even one cheater. What do you have to do to meet them?

Since there just aren't enough survivors, and killer queues take sometimes longer, especially the higher in mmr they go, the game just... gives them newbies. As a treat. To fill the needed spots to complete a lobby.
The game sees it as more important for queues to be fast rather than for the match-ups to be actually fair.
As for your first issue, another thing to know is that mmr has nothing to do with ranks. You can get to red rank through playing a lot, not necessarily through being thorough or extremely skilled in your games. (Though achieving it fast is a mark of dedication for sure.)
The game has its own way of judging who to pair you with, and it depends on how much you escape as survivor, or how much you kill as killer. So you might be red rank and still in a low-to-middle mmr if you don't escape a lot.
As for camping and tunneling, yeah. They're endemic to the game right now, and sure are not fun when you're on the receiving end. That's probably not a debate you want to get into here though.
Yes, I played a lot last month, I was having so much fun :) However, this month, it's awful, as I said, every single game, new killers or experienced, me or my friend always experience being camped... sure I can start a gen before he dies, or go get grabbed to the hook... but where is fun in that? I am so annoyed :/ Then you just keep trading until the end of the game without any progress on gens...
So the way matchmaking works, it doesn't put the same ranks together? I just randomly grabs 4 people from all over the place?
