The game has had over 60m sales. Yet only has a peak player count of 100k. That is telling in of itself. The game is fundamentally not fun from the side that it needs to be. Killer mains will never go play anything else because there is only one game that you can bully 4 individual people ad nauseum. Meanwhile survivor players and their friends they would want to play this game will have hundreds if not thousands of games that will both respect their time, and they will have fun playing.
That's just on Steam which doesn't show the total player count on other platforms.

Just want to chime in and say that even though I see at least 1 survivor DC every couple of matches, my escape rate is 39.5%. Plus, usually when one DC's, the others are likely to follow and I feel like I lose a lot of matches so I was worried that my escape rate would be lower. Kind of glad it's near 40%. Oh, and when someone DCs, we're likely to lose the match.
As for kill rates, I'm at 58.33%. So I'm hitting the 60%/40% rates that they are balancing towards despite all the DCs.
One thing I don't get is why players DC since there has always been a penalty and the fact that they do it on their first down/hook makes no sense. I get downed quite often at 4/5 gens and I push through to the end. Like, don't play the game if you're going to DC early in the match. Sometimes you have to change your strategy, or the killer messes up majorly and the match shifts in the survivors favor.
Regardless, DCing does count as a loss and it affects your escape rate. So either push through and do your best to help the team win or play something else. Not trying to sound harsh but that's the reality here. I couldn't count the amount of times I died playing a Souls-like game (Dark Souls, Elden Ring, etc.) To me, giving up means I can't learn how to face the challenge and I'd never get any better.
As for MMR, it's there but not entirely what decides who you play with or against. There have been several surveys in the past asking if we wanted to wait longer for a match so that MMR could be utilized to its full potential or if we don't want to wait long queue times meaning we are matched with people of any MMR just to play matches quicker.
I strongly support what the devs are doing, even if it feels like they aren't doing anything at all. Like I said, I didn't expect my escape rate to be so high. It felt like I was always losing but apparently I'm not paying attention to the wins I've gotten as much as I've focused on the losses.

Hello folks! This morning, the team deployed a fix for the stats discrepancies we were seeing on the Stats Tracker. We're happy to report that the fix was successful and you should now see results that are much more in line with what you would have expected.
I'll be setting this issue to FIXED, but will hold off on closing this thread for now, as we continue to monitor.
So, I waited a day thinking maybe it would take 24 hours to update per it's regular update schedule… Well lo and behold it updated with the correct stats! Thank you and the dev team for working on this!

My stats are still showing only the past week of stats and not for the past 4 years of gameplay. I used to play on Xbox but I don't anymore and now I play on PS5 and PC - Steam. Below are my stats and my account page showing my accounts are linked, which they've been linked since it was implemented.
It seems to only be showing stats since I joined the Official Stats Tracker.

The DC timer doesn't count down unless you're running the game.
This is weird to me. Do other PvP games do this?
It makes me think of those URL shortener sites that show fifty ads before letting you go forward and you have to have the tab active or else the timer stops counting down.
Is someone sitting waiting for the timer to count down included as an active player in DbD's stats?
Yes. Other multiplayer games do this. PVP and coop alike.

I spend a lot of time doing gens or in chase and there are times towards the end I'm not doing much if anything at all and never get a crow over 20-30 seconds.
Usually because others are on the final gen and I can't find them, or two people are at the exit gates, or I'm trying to find hatch for example. But the whole match is spent doing stuff.
So, does doing things almost all match extend the length of the crows appearing or is it just an endgame thing? Because I keep seeing everyone else say they get crows 10-20 seconds in but I haven't gotten one until after 30 seconds.
-
I wouldn't really call it teaming. You're not really friends with the other players since they are randoms. Also, you decided to play nice towards the end and respectful towards the other players when one player (Leon) decided to not be supportive and go for any unhooks.
Basically, some survivors think they get to control how the killer plays when really it's up to the killer. Some play nice, some just want bloodpoints, and then there are others that want a 4K. Even some are just plain toxic. I think what you did in your situation was fine and nothing to be upset about. The Leon was clearly upset because he wanted to control how you played the match. It's not like you were good friends with the survivor outside of DBD and helping them to secure a win. You just didn't think it was fair that Leon wasn't helping his team.
Nothing you did was wrong. You play how you want to play and sure, some players will be upset by it. As long as you aren't breaking any of the actual game rules (not the made up ones), you're fine. And you didn't so no worries.
-
The only thing I can think of that needs fixed is the fact that he can use his power through objects. I'm not talking about over objects. Literally though trees, barrels, walls, etc. I'm sure it isn't consistent but there are times I'm behind something and I see his target indicator pop up on me despite having an object between us.
-
I think the cooldown is fine, and I've never played as Ghoul. Only against
My biggest issue is that the Ghoul can use its ability on you through objects. That needs to be fixed.
-
What if players had walkie talkies with predetermined messages that could be selected and then shown to all survivors? Similar to using emotes, they'd have one where it brings up the walkie talkie and then they can somehow select the message or use an auto talk feature that gets data from the game and converts it into a message? Like saying "The Killer heading towards Shack" or "I'm going for the unhook".
Something like that wouldn't be hard to script and since communication is lacking in solo q, this would be a great way to implement better communication without having to add voice chat where someone could say some offensive things that then the devs would need to figure out how to better monitor (Call of Duty using AI on voice comms for example. It would be costly and take a long time to implement).
The issue for solo q is that even though we have icons next to our names saying what we are currently doing, there isn't a system in place to say what we plan to do next or update what is happening (like killer is chasing me towards shack). A walkie talkie system with one button press that takes in variables from the match, even if it just says "Near Shack" while the player icon shows they are in chase would be enough. I'm sure the devs can figure out something along those lines. Most games have something similar. It's not performance heavy, could take about a month or two to fully implement, then another month or so of testing and refining before adding to the game as a whole.
The game uses Unreal Engine 5 so they can use a combination of blueprint and c++. I don't see why they can't do something like this. No aura reading, no perk, just adding a small message box in the top left or top right corner, press a new emote button and let the script do the calculation and present a message to all teammates. I think it could work.
-
Have you tried syncing your PC'/Console date and time? Or verifying the integrity files for the game in Steam. On console it would be Restore Licenses.
These can fix the RTM issue although not guaranteed so you can play without a VPN. You also might want to try another VPN or changing your DNS settings as those can also help. Not guaranteed, but at least some options that might fix the issue.
Hope these can help.

You don't seem to get it all of you there condoning boosting The Killers constantly every patch are the reason the game is going to die what do y'all not understand about that? If you don't balance the game eventually it'll just be a game about Killers playing bots. At least old Dbd was a 40% win ratio for the survivors. But I'm done trying to get through to anybody I'm just ranting I already know this toxic community.
Despite my stats being wrong because I have been playing for 4 years, my most recent stats over the past few days show I have almost a 40% survive rate.

Ghostface, the Pig, Chucky, Onryo, and Myers are all stealth killers. But this killer should be nerfed because it has too long of a stealth ability?
Seriously though, other than the invisibility bug, Springtrap is fine. You can even hear his footstep as he gets close and he's not always in stealth. When you get hit by his axe, you get a speed boost and Springtrap has a cooldown about the same length as the huntress. And he can't insta-down you, like Myers or Ghostface can.
Plus, if you've ever played FNAF, all of Springtrap's abilities are taken out of the game. It's why he's is the jumpscare killer.
When I play against him, his footsteps are about as loud as Nemesis, meaning he isn't hard to hear when he's coming up behind you. His doors also have an indicator of when he's teleporting to them.
I don't get the fuss about him being too silent or not having any cooldowns is what I'm saying. Especially compared to other killers. He's a new killer and it takes some time getting used to playing as, or against him. Like, I definitely don't win all my matches as survivor against him.

I'm so tired of killers deciding to tunnel the first person they hook as soon as the game starts, since this last update I've seen killers tunnel non stop(we load into the game and someone gets tunneled as soon as they get unhooked while there's still 5 gens remaining so no one can say that "they had no other choice"). The new killer is strong as it is, I don't think tunneling is necessary but that's all they do. Behavior needs to do something about this because lately all they're doing is just slowly killing the game so many just want to have fun playing.
According to Behavior, tunneling is a legit strategy. As long as it is never made a bannable offense, killers are going to continue to use strategies like tunneling to help them win.

Either, it's a bug, or cheaters are still able to mimic being on other platforms. Only the two logical explanations I can come up with.

This is so weird. Especially since I caught a glimpse of your earlier reply and you completely misunderstood or straight up misrepresented everything I said.
No one was putting words in your mouth. When you say:
Even though the game wasn't that balanced early on, it was way more balanced than it is today.
I'm sorry but "early on" is not 4 years ago, and "early on" even as close as 4 years ago… the game was extremely survivor sided. That lets me know you'd rather have it when it was survivor sided because, yes it was. The game was not more balanced and equal. The changes to killer that alleviated a lot of that pressure were much more recent changes.
Before those changes, it was as I described.
I think it's disingenuous to act like when you say "early on" that can't easily be taken as "early dbd". If that's not what you meant, then please try wording it a bit better and understand where I'm coming from when that is what you said. If that IS what you meant, then yea… the game was hyper survivor sided early on.
Throwing your hands up and saying "you're not worth arguing with" over absolutely nothing and seemingly just because you don't want to have a discussion… why be on a forum? Forums are based around having discussions.
I said it wasn't entirely balanced early on and I know this from watching older youtube gameplay videos. Then, when I started, it was more balanced. Not perfect, but better than what it is now.
I'm on a forum for discussion. Not arguments or being belittled by someone who thinks they are better than everyone else.. Like what you said to the OP. So yes, you're not worth arguing with. I don't do arguments with people who think they are better than others and clearly belittling them.

Here we go another survivor player who got to used to having immensely broken things and a lob-sided game so now that they don't have those tools or the immensely lob-sided game, the game is now just "unplayable" and "What has happened to my precious dead by daylight!!! The horror!!!"
Like look I get it'll take some time to get used to, especially if you're coming off a break but it's genuinely not as bad as you make it out to be.
Yeah, it's not bad for killer mains. I play both equally and can say that killer is much easier to play than survivor, especially solo. So far it's June and Behavior has done nothing to address the solo issues other than punishing players who are fed up with the constant tunneling and camping. Sure, they supposedly put in fixes for these things but they don't work. Killers don't have to be right on top of you to camp (especially when you're hooked in the basement) and none of the anti-tunnel perks actually do anything. For example, Off The Record… If I wait 60 seconds then I'm flagged as being AFK and risk getting banned. Not to mention if the killer hits me, I don't gain enough distance to stop being tunneled and downed. How is that fair to survivors? But when I play killer, I don't have to worry about penalties. I can tunnel, camp, and just play casually and still win without any repercussions.
I used to like the challenge of killer but now it's too easy and I really want to play survivor more often but I can't because every match at least 2 people are dead in around 5 minutes. When 2 players are dead, there's really no point in playing the rest of the match because you can't finish the generators in time with 90 seconds each and only 2 of you doing them while trying not to be caught by the killer. Even then, if we weren't trying to rush to get the generators done, which most killer mains complain about, then we'd be flagged as AFK and get crows showing our location.
Even though the game wasn't that balanced early on, it was way more balanced than it is today. The only time killers struggle in a match is against a SWF while most matches are against solo players. Solo needs to be heavily rebalanced because right now it's almost unplayable.

the door itself gives a visual notification
Not all the time. Just played a match where the door didn't give any indication, it didn't even open, and the Springtrap was invisible. Grabbed me right off a gen. Pretty sure it's a bug but still, there isn't always a notification and having the doors literally right next to a gen doesn't help either.

Just to add some more info to hopefully help the devs:
I started playing on PS5 last year, then switched to Epic Games within the same year, then Steam this year. All of them are linked to my behavior account. I linked PS5 and Epic at the same time, then Steam a few months later. All of the data I'm seeing are very likely from my last linked account, Steam. Because the hours lineup in the stats tracker and in Steam. My PS5 and Epic Games progress weren't linked from what I can tell.
I too used to play on Xbox, then PS5, and now on Steam. All of my accounts are linked and have been since day one when they implemented it. Just got an e-mail thanking me for my 4 years of time in the fog.
But yeah, all my data seems to only be from my Steam account. It just finally updated with most recent gameplay, but none of my Xbox or PS5 gameplay was ever recorded. Only what they had on my Steam account when I initially first started and then this week.

One important caveat here is that if a Survivor is actively moving or close to the Killer, the rate at which these AFK points accumulate behind the scenes is greatly slowed. This means that players should still have ample opportunities to opt for stealth where necessary.
It's not lost on me, though, that we're seeing some reports of folks who say they're receiving crows in the course of regular gameplay. The best way we can help relay your experiences to the team is through concrete evidence, so if you've encountered this, please do share video footage of this with us, ideally including the 2-4 minutes of footage before the crow shows up. This way, we can provide much more detail on the specific gameplay that led to this circumstance.
In case anyone working on this needs to know…
I received a crow just before working on a generator and unknown to me, the killer was really close but in stealth mode. As so as I got on the gen, the crow appeared. I saw the killer a few seconds later, got off the gen and got downed. The crow went away when I was downed. Not when I got on the generator, or being close to the killer in stealth mode. All my other matches from yesterday, I didn't get a crow. Only when I went up against a stealth killer.
It might be possible that playing against a stealth killer (or anytime they can be stealthy) could have a role to play in this. just thought I'd bring this up so it may help with getting it fixed.
-
This definitely needs to be fixed. There's no way I played Nea in the past few days and I definitely don't have 0.6 hours. I've been playing for years on PS5 and lately Steam.
Also, Are we not getting Survivor/Killer grades anymore? Third screenshot in game shows no progress but I've been playing for the past several days since the reset.
-
Same issue both on PC and Playstation 5 since the update. First heard it on PS5 and didn't know what had happened. Then confirmed on PC - Steam that it was the same and narrowed it down a bit. So far only noticed on the new Five Night's of Freddy Map. Other player noises (panting, grunts, etc.) would be heard in random places away from where they are. For example, I was near the shack and the killer was chasing another player. I was healing behind a rock and some bushes, and it sounded like the other survivor was right next to me. The killer's audio was fine. Then, I went to go do a gen, but I couldn't find it because I was following the sound of it already in progress and based on the sound, it wasn't where it should have been. Then I moved to the gen and the audio sounded like it was to the left of me. I was facing the gen, slightly angled with the gen to the front/right of me.
Finally, after going through one of the doors and coming out of the other, I heard the killer like he was on top of me but I saw him in the distance.Attached are my player logs. I'm also using stereo headphones and never had this issue before the update. If you need additional information from me, let me know.
Update: I can confirm that it only happens with the new map and killer. I played another match against a ghoul on the Laboratory map and didn't have any audio issues whatsoever.

I logged in today and it looks like it's fixed showing 4/4 completed. Not sure what happened but I guess closing out of the game and restarting (even almost 24 hoirs later) fixed it?

The game hopping engines from UE4 to Ue5 was a miracle in and of itself, quite frankly I was surprised the game wasn't buggier and how quickly BHVR dealt with all the actually serious problems
BHVR can also not simply take a few months off from making a character to fix the code, because then everyone would have a fit and whine about no new content however good of a reason they might have
They should have different departments that focus on character creation and bug fixes separately. Just like how they have a different department focusing on cosmetics. They can push out bug fixes, especially for all the major bugs we've seen recently, new characters, and new cosmetics all at the same time.

that's not exactly accurate. There's no shortage of survivors in this mode, it's just that there's a massive increase in people who want to play killer with a friend / teammate. The bonus is there to encourage those to play a few matches of survivor to help with the queue times.
Unfortunately, that's not working. I really want to play killer but I'm not going to wait 30 minutes for a match, which has happened. So I've been playing survivor this whole time and whenever I do try to jump onto killer, it's the same issue. I think a lot of people are playing survivor already for this reason.
-
It's survivor sided when they are actually doing gens, which is maybe 5% of the time. Most survivors aren'tdoing gens in every match.

Survivors need something to be added to these incentives, such as Double XP
In fact, double XP for the least played role in the normal game is also more than welcome
Please devs
I'm finding it's also slow at finding other survivors, so I think the issue is the fact that team killers are being prioritized. On top of that, 2 of the same killer can't be picked and with a very small selection of killers, you're right. This was a bad design.

Hey folks, I see a lot of questions and confusion so I'm going to do my best to clear up as many as I can.
About the program itself:
- This program is not new, it has existed since shortly after the game's release. Previously consultants were not able to confirm they were part of the group without breaching their NDA. We have recently restructured the program and allowed members to say that they are members.
- Consultants are asked for opinions on upcoming changes and invited to closed playtests where they can give feedback.
- While the program itself is now public info, the details of what they are playtesting and/or giving feedback on are not. Please do not ask them what's going on in there, they cannot tell you.
- There is no public list of all consultants, nor do we plan to share one. We leave it up to each person to decide if they are comfortable disclosing it as it could attract unwanted attention and/or scrutiny.
About consultants and requirements:
- Consultants do not need to be content creators. While some are, others are not.
- There is no application process. We select and invite people who would be a good fit for the program and fill the needs we have in terms of experience with specific aspects of the game.
- Being selected as a consultant is not simply a reward for being a die-hard fan. Consultants are contractors who are paid and have certain responsibilities.
- Consultants have varying experience (e.g. Killers they've mastered), preferences, playstyles, and skill levels.
About the consultants role & responsibilities:
- Consultants must participate in closed playtests. Inactive consultants would be removed from the program and replaced with someone who is able to participate.
- It is a consultant's duty to give feedback on upcoming changes that are presented to them.
- Consultant feedback is used to help make informed decisions, but it is not the sole deciding factor. We need to keep in mind that consultants are highly experienced players and that their impressions may not always align with the wider community (though they often do).
- Consultants do not come up with balance changes and are not responsible for how things turn out. It falls on us to decide what needs to be acted upon. (Please do not harass consultants if there is a change you do not like.)
- Consultants are not QA - it is not their responsibility to test the game and find bugs.
Qualities we look for in consultants (among other traits):
- Trustworthy, as they are given information early
- A wide range of experience within the game (and ideally experts in certain areas)
- Able to provide constructive feedback
- Able to maintain a civil discussion with people who have differing opinions
- Able to set aside biases when giving feedback or acknowledge that their biases may be influencing their opinions
Most importantly, none of this means that your feedback doesn't matter. This program helps us gather feedback for changes early on in development and make adjustments before they are revealed. Once they hit the PTB, feedback from the wider community is just as important.
So this is why we got terrible perk reworks, terrible new perks, terrible new killers (Skull Merchant), terrible killer reworks like the Twins, and terrible maps? I'm with Spookyloopz and Hens.

If you have over 1k hours on this game you've probably experienced at least a couple games in which there will be two survivors left with 3-4 gens remaining, and instead of trying to do anything, the survivors just hide all game and keep you in the match. It is very frustrating and petty.
I have this happen from time to time and it is a big problem. Im making this post because I just experienced it again, and while I did find one of them in the end and get the 3k, it took 20 extra minutes and I never want to deal with it again. There needs to be a mechanic in place that reveals their positions to you if they dont do anything for 5 minutes
Oh, and then the survivors will message you afterwards and try to say that it is YOUR fault they acted that way.
The person who got the hatch in the game I was just in messaged me trying to say that he wouldn't have acted like that if I didn't "camp at the start" grown man btw, I checked.
There needs to be something done about this or it will just be a last resort option for the survivors to troll a killer because they're salty they got obliterated with 5 gens left
Survivors get crows above their heads if they aren't doing gens. Not really hard to miss...

...why should people that play aggressively toxic be given a haven in this game to express themselves? I mean, I don't want an overlord to protect my fee-fees in the game but if someone is just olaying for the sheer enjoyment of crapping all over the experience of others, why should this be a haven?
I can report that seal team 6 swf is a thing.…as well as tunnel/slug monsters. Very much a reality and while I often can play long stretches, I find it more difficult lately. Yes, doing such can make me grouchy, so perhaps my vision is a bit obscured at the moment but I can't help but think it would be nice to see those types grouped with one another. They could troll one another to their heart's content.
There is no ambiguity about who they are.
First of all, tunneling and slugging are legit playstyles that the devs have already stated they aren't going to aggressively punish because inherently, they are not toxic playstyles. Both sides are playing to win, and a killer will do these to win if need be. Second of all, they've dealt with toxic playstyles as best as they can (flashing lights constantly at players for example). Third, all PVP games typically have their own way of t-bagging, etc. and there's really nothing the devs can do about it. If you see something that is offensive, record video of it and submit a report on their website. They already said they aren't doing anything on reports when there is no video evidence. This includes cheating, griefing, etc.
Get video evidence. Submit a report. Move on. It's just a game. You getting angry is only giving them what they want.. A reaction out of you.

You can't really cater a game built around casual gameplay to SBMM/MMR. This game either needs to go back to the old rank system with a few fixes, or have two separate modes: ranked and unranked. Some casual players are just good at playing, but when they are forced to sweat to win, they are being forced to play in a way they do not wish to play, thus pushing against player agency. Many killers resort to slugging, camping, and tunnelling because they are general casual players who are tired of losing and found a simple way to win matches with the least amount of effort. I bet most players are casual, thus why SBMM/MMR is not adequate.
Also, skill is not determined by wins/losses. We don't look at a hockey/football/basketball player and say they aren't skilled because their team won a lot of games. When players are traded, they don't look at their wins. They look at how many shots/goals they make, how well they play, etc. Basing skill on kills/escapes is just lazy development and needs to be removed or changed back to the original rank system which actually determines skill. Right now, skill is limited to two options, where some players are skilled at looping, others are skilled at healing, doing gens, etc. Player agency is lost because SBMM/MMR only looks at 2 variables instead of all the variables that make up skillful plays. It's just blatantly lazy and the devs should have listened to the community when everyone said it was not a good idea to implement, but they went against their CONSUMERS and did it anyways.
So I ask, why do you all still play if you think one side is better than the other, or the game is unbalanced? Do you really like losing a lot of games? If you really don't care, then why complain about SBMM/MMR or how unbalanced things are? Seriously, the devs won't do anything until they see the player count drop significantly because that's all they're going to look at is the numbers.
So yes, SBMM/MMR is wrong, in fact it shouldn't even be a thing in an asymmetrical game, based off of team wins/losses. But nothing gets done about it because the player base continues to play and keep the player count in a decent range which is all they want to see. Either quit playing or stop complaining because it's inherently useless. Even other games base skill on what players do, not whether they win or lose, such as KDR. I could play 50 matches of COD and lost more than half but because I have a good KDR (not tracked by wins/losses), my MMR would be high. This game doesn't track that, except for pips/bloodpoint ranks which is inherently useless.

I get so much anxiety when I am about to play killer. I hate and I don’t even know why I get so nervous. I have over 2k hours in killer but I still get nervous as all get out and I wish I didn’t.
Any suggestions? I know it’s silly and it is, truly. I’m trying to work on it, but I also love playing killer so much.
I'm the opposite. I get nervous playing survivor in solo queue. I always end up losing or getting a tie (hatch) because my teammates either don't do gens and/or die at the start of the match. None of my friends play DBD so I can't team up with anyone I know. The game used to not be like this. I used to be nervous playing killer but not after the past year of updates. When I play killer and I come across a SWF team, I usually just play casually and have fun with them. It's kind of difficult doing the same when your playing survivor, having teammates who won't cooperate and you don't know the killer's intentions. However, I try to play nice with the killer to at least get the hatch if they give it to me. They end up still winning because they get 3 kills but I'm forever stuck playing with the same people and killers. It's more irritating, but at least for killer, you have the chance to move up and have the option to just meme with the survivors.

I don't know what else BHVR can do without completely gutting Killers at this rate.
Well they gutted survivor. Might as well gut killer and finish off the game for good.
-
Survivor used to be strong till they not only nerfed their perks into the ground but they also went and buffed (and continue to) buff killer. Now killer is stronger and its going to be a never-ending cycle unless the devs actually give each survivor an ability similar to killer.
-
They keep trying to balance the game around perks and not killer abilities or giving survivors abilities separate from perks. That's why the game can never be truly balanced.

Survivors already have basekit BT to prevent being tunnel straight off unhook. There's not really more than can be done for survivors, because the survivor is the 4 man team and the killers main objective is to kill them.
It only lasts 10 seconds and goes away after one hit. Killer can easily catch up. The devs could be doing so much more than just focusing on perks to balance the game. They proved it with stopping gen tapping and face camping. Although the killer can still face camp after the last gen is completed or proxy camp basement for 4k. I get that the game was heavily survivor sided but now it's heavily killer sided because they still think the game should be balanced around 1v1v1v1v1 instead of 4v1. And a lot of games were balanced for 4v1 metrics in the past, just not for PvP. Final Fantasy for example started with 4 characters against a different number of enemies, including just 1. Had this game actually balanced with stats in mind since the beginning, it would be easier to keep it balanced today. Instead, they chose 1 to 2 huts on survivor and stunning killer. There is no way to balance this game efficiently the way that it is.
-
So much gen regression, crappy exhaustion perks, slow heals, it's almost as if Behavior decided to punish survivors and forgot about proper balance flow. Yet players continue to play despite all these complaints. I'd just quit playing and find something else more fun because this game isn't fun anymore. And that's for both sides. Killer is too easy. Survivor is too hard.

This is just from today. There are two possibilities regarding solo queue right now:
Something with the matchmaker is completely bugged and needs to be fixed.
Matchmaking is working as intended and these are the results for my killer games. It needs to be reworked/fixed in that case.
Either way, this can't go on. This matchmaking is atrocious.
That is every single game, no matter the killer, for the past several days. This game needs a major overhaul. I'm surprised anyone is still playing with how unfun this game has become on both sides.
-
Solo queue is seriously unbalanced. Behavior should be ashamed.
-
They nerfed solo survivor queue into the ground. So yes, they should buff survivor perks. But they won't because they cater to toxic players like you. I'm done with this trash game.
-
This game has really tanked. The devs don't understand game mechanics, proper flow and balance, or how to make a game fun for everyone that plays. 2 matches in a row against Billy. All team members downed at the start of the match while we all were at different parts of the map. Thought this was a good time to come back to this game, but it isn't. It's a waste of time, money and the devs don't really care. Not to mention the toxicity of this horrible community.

Stupid question, but since everyone’s settings got reset, is there a chance your graphics settings got put on ultra?
Console doesn't have this setting. Never had an issue before the update on my Xbox Series X.

I’ve seen it once out of 20+ matches since Wednesday. Really hope it does not start to trend. Talking players who literally slug everyone and then make them wait bleeding out.
Wednesday is when I had maybe two matches, but by Friday it was about 9 matches with some back to back.
And they weren't just letting us bleed out from the start. They'd let one get another survivor back up and then slug that person so we were swapping each other out just to make the match longer. I really don't know the mindset behind it but thats what it was like.
I do hope I am wrong so I can come back, but until then, I don't have have the time and energy to just play a game where we just get slugged over and over and can't do anything.
