Noed allow bad killer to get kills they don’t deserve and they feel they’re semigods in this game. Then they play with better survs and get 0k and come here crying and complaining. I can tell you some killers here that use noed for sure

Hello, dictep; I see you're still screaming complete lies. Ever get bored of being wrong?

we're just both repeating ourselves now, its only not fun if you tunnel, if you don't, it's irrelevant <<<<<<<<fact

if they interject themselves in the chase, then it's on them if you tunnel them.

if they interject themselves in the chase, then it's on them if you tunnel them.

Not when you gave them an utter broken 48 second BT. How do I tunnel them when they can literally keep BT for nearly a whole minute?

It's clear you have 0 idea how game balance works. Everyone has told you the idea is broken, and yet you keep ignoring them and screaming you know better than everyone else. It's getting tiring.

  • Divine Intervention: Broken AF. Imagine Nurse with her power disabled for 40 seconds. No.

Divine Protection: Broken. Survivors now believe they should REGRESS hook stages? Rofl. No. Can Killers regress an already-completed gen? Why should Survivors get a hook-regression mechanic?

Hook changes: Giving Survivors free hook time? That was abused in the past. No.

Dead Hard: You're literally keeping the broken, unintended part; DH for distance.

I had to stop reading there, sorry.

  • Keep whining about perfectly-fine perks. Have fun never learning form your losses.

So wait you’re suggesting to me that I believe perks like Dead Hard is fine? It’s the same lazy second chance perk that gives you bugged for nothing like NOED. And someone can use those same arguments for Dead Hard is fine. So you think DH is fine?

1.Just do bones, just wait it out both aren’t consistently plausible

2.Just a strong perk combo, so DS and UB and DH and IW are acceptable too.

see the issue can’t say one is acceptable the other is not. There shouldn’t be such second chance perks on both sides especially when they give you so much for doing nothing. What does a killer have to do for NOED nothing. What does a survivor have to do for DH nothing.

I'm done here. You're ignoring facts to suit your narrative.

NoED. Does not. Reward. Doing. Nothing. This is not up for debate; this is fact. NoED punishes lazy survivors. Again; this is fact. Ignore it all you want; it will not change this fact.

DH does not reward doing nothing, either. It punishes Killers who get too greedy. If 'DH for distance' was not a thing (The devs have said this was not how the perk was intended); it would be perfectly fine.

I feel like maybe you don't understand how bad console dbd is.

This is a clip from @DarKStaR350z

    https://youtu.be/k7t-uITZPyI

The game can and WILL cuck you out of hits, downs, chases, skill checks, vaults and even entire matches.

How is it possibly fair that they get to miss a skill check because BHVR can't fix their game?

That does suck but that means BHVR should fix the game.

Removing DS's skillcheck literally cucks Killers out of misplays and possible kills.

  • @WishIcouldmain said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2918615#Comment_2918615

There shouldn’t be such a perk where it can give you such value for literally doing nothing and in close games where there simply isn’t good time to do bones then guess what it’s a loose loose paired with say No Way Out it’s devastating

There shouldn’t be such a perk where it can give you such value for literally doing nothing

I will say it again: NOED DOES NOT REWARD 'DOING NOTHING'. IT PUNISHES SURVIVORS FOR NOT DOING BONES. How is that hard to understand? How?

in close games where there simply isn’t good time to do bones then guess what it’s a loose loose

Oh WOW! The Killer brought a strong perk and in a close game it tipped it over into a win!? How OP! Better nerf or remove it! Killers cannot WIN! That's not how the game works! 😱

paired with say No Way Out it’s devastating

Strong perk combos?! Not on Survivor's watch! Only Survivors get second chance perks and perk combos! Nerf anything that gives Killers these things! Second chance, end game, and combos are Survivor-only concepts!

I apologize for the sarcasm but it's the same tired 'arguments'. Killers can't have second chance perks, Killers can't have end-game perks. Killers are 'failing' if 5 gens pop. Killers 'do nothing' and get rewarded.

And none of them are at all correct.

  • @WishIcouldmain said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2918602#Comment_2918602

That’s the issue teammates I was chased close to endgame gens pop downed by NOED it was in the corner of the map they couldn’t find it I’m camped to death or when it’s in a spot they can defend

Then the Killer got lucky, seeing as he can't pick where NoED is and Survivors CAN.

Literally do bones unless you see one in an obvious area; leave that one. 5th gen pops; go look and see if it lit up.

If your entire team used their heads; this totem would be NoED, if it exists, and can be cleansed.

Heaven fregging forbid the Killer get value out of an end-game perk that spawns on a random totem. That's apparently not right, I guess.

  • @Tiufal said:

    Killer mindsets are really worrying.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

If you can't down a survivor in under 40 seconds with the NOED speed boost at the end of a game when the resources are somewhat used, I don't know what to say about that.

If you can't find one totem after popping 5 gens when the totem spawns are incredibly easy to memorize, I don't know what to say about that.

NoED is fine. Only Survivors who don't want to leave gens complain about it.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

The semantics are whatever. It doesn't necessarily reward bad play. It's just bad design to have it be a Hex that only activates at end game. A team isn't beating any good killer if they spend time finding and cleansing 5 dulls. And then you get Leatherface players who slap on NOED/Deadlock and facecamp two survivors while the gens are up, then NOED a 3rd if the timing works.

Just put NOED on a 40 second timers or something and actually notify players when it activates. It feels like BS. Your players have been overwhelmingly saying it feels like BS for years. Change it.

Your players have been overwhelmingly saying it feels like BS for years. Change it.

No. Lazy Survivors have been saying it's BS for years. Not the entire player base.

Just put NOED on a 40 second timers or something and actually notify players when it activates.

    And that would be useless.

    1. Survivors can easily run most the Killer roster for 40+ seconds. So much for hitting anyone.
    2. If Survivors are told when it activates; they will go totem hunting or leave. The Killer will never be able to actually get value out of it.
  • Survivor input controls NoED, but instead they claim it 'rewards doing nothing' instead of the more accurate 'Punishes Survivors for not doing bones'.

Because one sounds like a flaw (It rewards NOTHING!), and the other sounds like a balanced perk & Survivor's fault (It punishes us for ignoring totems!).

But as we all know; Survivors are never at fault and even Killer's winning is toxic, so Survivors run around screaming the perk is OP, or unfun, or whatever. 😁

An agreement is something that is agreed in both parties. Did you ask every player? No? Also, if we are starting to talk about it. That's called circumstancial evidence... it means it only works from your point of view. Who are you to tell those players didn't have an issue? Who are you to say that those people are not suffering from illness and the click click actually hurts them? Oh no, because FOR ME those people are crybabies, then it must be so.

Also, social agreement has nothing to do with murders, those are laws, if you break them, you have a punishment for doing so (laws are rules made in order to being able to live in a society)... that's not social agreement. You're mixing apples with pineapples.

The agreement is implied by logging in. You agree to not be a jerk to your fellow players. This includes:

    1. Not treating them like crap
    2. Not being racist, sexist, etc.
    3. Not DCing because you're losing.
    4. Not being a sore loser or winner.
    5. Not cheating.

Why are people so thick that they can't understand this? Instead, people sit here and go 'Whaaa! Whaaa! Only I matter! Show me where I have to be nice to everyone else! Show me where I have to care about anyone but me!' 🙄

  • @Aurelle said:

Yeah, I wouldn't mind the skill check being removed. Why add a difficult skill check to a very situational anti-tunnel perk is beyond me. I can understand why for it's previous versions, but not it's current one. Missing the skill check means you're not getting tunneled, apparently.

Why add a difficult skill check to a very situational anti-tunnel perk is beyond me.

    Because you failed to hide.

Your team failed to take protection hits.

Your team failed to heal you or otherwise help you.

And you think you get a free 'No hook for you'? for all that?

  • @Pepsidot said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2918321#Comment_2918321

Should survivors have to complete a difficult skill check to use Deliverance? Or For The People? Or when picking up a pallet with Any Means Necessary? Etc. The skill check for DS is just an old, outdated relic from 2016, no other survivor perk requires you to hit a difficult skill check.

If you equip a perk and the situation occurs where it activates, it should be guaranteed to work. Like every other perk. External factors like lag shouldn't play a part (yet they currently do).

The difference being; DS literally saves you from a hook state and stuns the killer so he can't immediately re-grab you.

The value of DS means it needs a skillcheck that can be failed so you don't get away 100% of the time.

  • Yes, let's make it free so Killers can never take advantage of a mess-up and Survivors never have to worry about failing it. It just becomes an free 'get off the shoulder now' perk with 0 fail states. 🙄

I do. Though if Survivors abuse RPD and certain perks/items; they can't whine when slugged.

I think DCing is never OK unless there's an RL emergency.

  • Realism? In a game with a villain out of HP Lovecraft's wild dreams?

With a demogorgon? A ghost nurse, a literal oni, a spirit, Freddy Kreuger...

and I also said there is no such thing as winning or losing, how many times do I have to say that before you listen. clearly, you can't have an adult discussion unless the person agrees with you, when they don't, you twist their words in all kinds of directions to suit your opinion.

You may disagree with me but at least I have been consistent with my posts, you consistently twisted my words and now accusing me of going to edit my posts when you clearly can see I already edited my first post and another post before you posted I would edit them.

I stand by what I said, the fun in DBD is trying to get kills and escapes, tunnelling is not fun and you know it, most players have known it for longer I have been playing and Borrowed Time needs to become base kit, stacked with BT perk and doubled in time. Also, this actually will help killers out in the long run as well.

If it does happen, then it is people like you that are at fault for it happening and remember, before I ever posted here, Patrick already alluded to base kit borrowed time in the last FAQ.

Borrowed Time needs to become base kit, stacked with BT perk and doubled in time

No it does not. Your idea is terrible. Everyone has told you it's terrible. You wanting to make Survivors completely OP is not 'balance'.

I play to have fun, that is why everyone plays games, to have fun, putting your own need to win ahead of other people's fun is wrong.

Heaven forbid your opponent tries to win if it makes you sad. What a weak take. You heard it here, folks! Killer can't try to win because Survivors get sad! Stop trying to win a PvP game! Think of Survivor fun!

Also remember; this person said Killers should NEVER win because movies. 🙃

it really isn't that big a deal if borrowed time became base kit and stacked with the perk.

Yes it is a big deal. It's OP. You seem unwilling to hear opposing points of view on this because, to you; you're right. And if people disagree, you will stick your fingers in your ears to ignore them.

edit* I'm adding in, that there is a balance shift needed for the killer side and killers need some love for sure, but that doesn't mean what I'm saying about borrowed time is wrong.

Yes it does. You're wrong. It's broken. OP. Abusable. It's a bad idea. You. Are. Wrong.

You don't have a duty or whatsoever. You get punished just because people can't get the fact that others will decide to DC if they want to... besides if I play a bit of devi's advocate. Aren't you doing the same thing? Calling other people selfish whene you want them to play just for OTHER people's sake?

    so·cial con·tract

    /ˈsōSHəl kənˈtrakt,ˈkäntrakt/

    noun

    1. an implicit agreement among the members of a society to cooperate for social benefits

For example: Agreeing to NOT DC like a baby, because it ruins the game for others. They make the same agreement so that your own game is not ruined by THEM DCing.

How are people unable to understand this? Social contracts are not someting you sign. They are an agreement.

Kind of like the social contract to not murder each other because it would make the victim's family sad.

Or to obey traffic laws because that's safer for the complete strangers in the cars around you. Unless you folks are telling me you'd slam into other cars, speed, run over foot traffic, and run red lights if the law did not prohibit it? Because you don't believe in social contracts?

    A few thoughts:

    • Dodge TTVs. Just...trust me. Unless you want to bring your best addons and builds and have a massive sweatfest, multiple streamers in a lobby are a no-go. I've also met some of the most poisonous groups I've ever experienced going up against streamers.
    • In games where I want to earn some extra BP (or well...in any games) I go in super hard at the beginning and once the game is mine to control, I can choose to ease up. Nobody thanks you if you play nice from the start - and they can be outright nasty. However, I've only been BMed twice for easing up once I'm winning.
    • I've never seen anyone banned for AFKing, even anecdotally outside of obvious botting. It's not something to do often, but in games where you're clearly dealing with trolls, at least you spare yourself a penalty. Don't make a habit of it and you'll be fine.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2917447#Comment_2917447

I play no differently if someone brings streamers or not. I'll generally ease up if I'm stomping face and let people heal/unhook/do gens before I end things, and that's something I do in most games.

Yeah, I hate to say it, as someone who very infrequently TTVs (but never puts it in my name); people who put 'TTV' in their name tend to be the more toxic TTV people.

I don't know why, but in every game I've ever played where someone has 'TTV'; they tend to be right bleepers. Even in freaking Guild Wars 2; I ran a world event in Maguuma Jungle last week, and a TTVer who admitted it was his first time running it was demanding the veterans do what he wanted. He was pausing to type, in the middle of time-sensitive events, to order people around, and complain when no one listened to him.

Of course; when we won it, the dude had an utter meltdown about how we would have won better if we listened to him. Blaming the veterans for him dying while he was standing still to type out commands. Insulting the other groups in the North, South, and West areas. When, at the start, he said 'This is my first time doing this'. Oof. 😑

  • Killers would riot as they lose most their useful slowdown perks and games end in sub-5 minutes.

  • Rofl. Back when Huntress was new, I randomly found someone in a locker when I went to rearm.

Dude SCREAMED that I was hacking. That I had no way of knowing he was there. Why did not pick the other locker to rearm? CLEARLY I knew he was there.

It was like, Dude; I had a 50/50 chance of finding you because there were 2 lockers that HAPPENED to be near me when I needed to reload. Chill. 😂

That was your first mistake. Don’t assume someone who brings BPS are doing it for anything besides getting themself extra BPs. Personally, I think BPS are cursed. I always seem to have bad games with them so I never bother anymore.

I hate BP items because this is how it always plays out:

    1. I decide to farm. Survivors (Who brought the BP items) slam gens. Leave. Insult me in chat as if it was their skill that won.
    2. I decide to play normally. Survivors (Who brought the BP items) decide to farm. They assume I have to do what they want. They insult me in chat for not farming.
    3. We both farm for awhile. Survivors decide they have farmed enough. If I let them go; they insult me for not killing them, as if they required any skill to live. If I hook them; they insult me for not letting them go.

There are many reasons why I completely stopped caring about 'survivor fun' anymore. 🙃

  • If two were TTVs and streaming while being toxic; go to their stream, and report the videos. Try to find the time stamps for your reports.

Twitch is VERY fast to remove toxic people.

Still think that hate speech and harassing others should deny you any rights of your own to peace of mind like that, but sure

The problem being, on platforms like Steam; a player can easily change their name to be someone else.

IE: Someone could become 'Otzdarva', then say a take like the one you showed. And then you show it with 'I can't believe Otz said this!' or even just 'This person said this!' and people see 'Otzdarva: <toxic take>' and he starts getting flak.

Plus; naming and shaming starts witch hunts. Where people will just see the name, look for SOMEONE with the same screen name, and start attacking them, regardless if it's the right person.

Edit: And before people say 'That's rare!'. It's not. Example:

When New World launched; a forum troll changed his name to some famous FF14 streamer who switched to New World, and started saying the most VILE things to get that streamer in trouble.

When another forum-goer said 'This is not the real streamer, but <troll>. He changed his name.' That troll made FOUR accounts using the good samaritans' name, and variations thereof, and spent an entire 3 day weekend flooding the forum with porn, gore, and insulting everyone in an attempt to get the user banned.

It's more common than you'd think.

  • Honestly; the only reason I hate the 4% is because salty Survivors can, if they don't like the killer/map/teammates, just attempt it until they die.

And if they succeed; they just run up to the Killer to be hooked again.

But having a hail mary play can mean the difference between winning and losing, and I like that aspect.

  • Because some few Survivors DC against anything they find 'unfun' (AKA: Any Killer they lose against 😁)

  • @steezo_de said:

The only counter that I really want from this is a mechanic that gets me out of a game that's obviously over, so something similar to the hook mechanic where you have to hit a skill check to stay alive. Leave my husk and have it only activate after everyone's slugged if that's a problem-- I just want to move on to the next game.

I agree that if everyone is dead/hooked/carried/dying; there should be a 'Give up' option.

I just disagree that Survivors should have a way to give up & give their buddy the hatch.

  • @Vampwire said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2917232#Comment_2917232

There is a huge difference here. The killer is playing the game in those 4 minutes, the survivor is not able to play the game for that whole time and will 100% die. It's not about "screwing over the killer". You're only circumventing a game mechanic, which you're not entitled to do consistently. And while you could say the same for the slug bleed-out, again the difference I stated comes in. The mechanic doesn't prevent you from playing the game, it only means your fourth kill isn't guaranteed. The dude on the ground can't do jack. It's about consideration for the other person. Survivors helping their team survive isn't a personal spite against you. They aren't griefing your experience by not letting you get the 4k.

There's nothing that can make you choose either rather than yourself. Be nice or be a cock, whatever you want. Just remember the next time you have a bad match, what goes around comes back around.

You're only circumventing a game mechanic, which you're not entitled to do consistently

    Who says? Survivors?

The mechanic doesn't prevent you from playing the game, it only means your fourth kill isn't guaranteed.

Yes; it's Survivors demanding a new way to steal the 4K away from the Killer because THEY feel it's toxic, or unfair, or boring. Because THEY want to spite the Killer who they feel is spiting them. Because THEY have decided 'Slugging for a 4K is toxic, thus, it should be changed'.

It's Survivors saying 'I think the Killer should be happy with a 3K. Allow me to enforce it no matter what he does'.

The dude on the ground can't do jack. It's about consideration for the other person. Survivors helping their team survive isn't a personal spite against you

And Killers slugging for the 4K is not a personal spite against you.

They aren't griefing your experience by not letting you get the 4k.

And the Killer is not greifing yours by wanting a 4K.

Once again; this is just Survivors deciding 'I don't like this. Cater to us and spite Killers with a new mechanic baked in to allow us to change it in our favor'.

  • @OpenX said:

I will never understand killers who waste 4m every game slugging for the 4k. I only do it if someone BMd me, I got sent to a trash map, or I have a really good idea where the last survivor is. 4m is already halfway into another match

Because they want the BP? Because a 4K is achievable? Because a 4K in the current META is, if your MMR is proper, almost impossible?

Who cares WHY; it's part of the game. A goal Killers can reach for. And I'm sick of Survivors treating me like ######### for trying when I have the rare chance.

I don’t think it’s bs on that first part honestly

Fair enough. But it's still a mechanic Killers are trying to avoid so they can get the 4K.

And then Survivors sit here and snivel 'This unfair! I'm bored! Allow me to do THAT EXACT THING on the ground! My friend deserves the hatch more than the Killer deserves his 4K! Selfish Killer should just hook me so I can do that EXACT THING on the hook! How DARE he go for a 4K!' Insert more 'Be happy with the 3K' dribble Survivors love to say.

Can you tell I'm tired of being told I'm selfish, the villain, etc. for going for the 4k? Survivors sit here and act like everything a Killer does has to pass Survivor Quality Standards for their opponent.

  • @Vampwire said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2916729#Comment_2916729

Why should somebody have to do nothing for 4 whole minutes in a video game just because the other guy wants an invisible trophy? Usually you're faster than survivors anyways and can down them before hatch. It's really not much of a problem, and even if they escape so what? They give a few bags, leave and the match is over at the worst. The 4k means nothing and slugging someone for it just screws them over irl because they either DC and get a penalty or do absolutely nothing for next 5 minutes anyways.

I also don't understand how it's BS to try and give the last guy alive the best chance of surviving in the, y'know, survivor role?

Why shoudl the Killer be denied his 4K because Survivors can't wait 4 minutes, or assume their time needs priority over the Killer's?

I also don't understand how Survivors think they need a dedicated 'screw the Killer' button by forcing an early death to help their friend. Because Killing is the point of the, y'know, Killer role?

I will say it again; If Survivors could not completely shaft a Killer going for a 4K or Adept by giving up on the hook; the Killer would not slug (Barring toxic trolls). Why should the Devs give Survivors the EXACT mechanic Killers are trying to avoid, just because they're selfish and demand a way to bone Killers out of Adepts?

lol I literally say there are no such things as winning and losing but you try to say I'm saying the only option is to play to lose, if I meant that, I would've said it directly, I did not say that. I literally said trying to get escapes and kills is fun, that is another option.

By all means, keep twisting my words but you clearly desperate to prove me wrong, when you know I'm right.

You ALSO said Killers should never win. Keep trying to dodge your earlier posts.

I fully expect you to edit them and pretend you never said it, next.

But there is winning and losing:

You lost if you die as a Survivor. Personal views aside; the game says you lost. It is a lose condition.

You lose if you get 0-1 kills as a Killer. That's what 'Entity Displeased' means.

So you're wrong. But keep screaming about how you're smarter than everyone. 😂 Maybe someone other than you will believe it if you scream loud enough.

that is a great argument there, way to prove me wrong, oh wait no you didn't, you can see the anger in your post, if its a biased and horrible opinion, then the biggest percentage of people who play DBD are biased and horrible in your opinion, also I actually heard a fog whisperer earlier today talk about tunnelling in a not so flattering way. I've also heard an ex fog whisperer many times saying that tunnelling is not fun.

the simple fact of the matter and something you all know, tunnelling is not fun for the person you do it to, hard camping is not fun for the person you do it to and it's selfish to deny someone's fun all because you want to win.

also, I was trolling when I said there should be a blood point penalty for a killer who hooks the same survivor twice in a row, I trolled because I knew the reaction to borrowed time changes would get, this thread and the posts prove that BHVR needs to do something about tunnelling, so thanks all for the replies.

it's selfish to deny someone's fun all because you want to win.

What about the Killer's fun? Oh right; that does not matter. Only Survivors matter. Killers MUST stop trying to win if it makes the Survivor Overlords sadge! 😥 Never do anything as a Killer any Survivor finds mean, or not fun! Because only Survivor fun matters! So sayeth the biased!

Ah yes; the reply of every scrub called out on their BS 'I wwas just trolling! You fell for it! lol!'

Sure. Sure. You were called out on your utterly horrible, biased, and garbage takes, and you were clearly mindgaming everyone! You're playing 3D chess while everyone plays checkers! 😂 Whatever, mate.

I never said played to lose, I said there are no such things as winning and losing, I also said the fun is trying to escape and get kills, not actually escaping and getting kills.

playing killer is already not fun for most because of SBMM and boons. unless you play like I do and don't care if everyone escapes. doing what I said with borrowed time doesn't change that and doesn't effect any killer at all. Unless they tunnel which we all know is not fun for the survivor who is being tunnelled.

I never said played to lose, I said there are no such things as winning and losing

    Ahem:

    @Notretsam said:

I'm just going make one more blanket post to cover the complaints and excuses that people will make in this thread, even though they know I'm right that tunnelling and camping aren't fun for the survivor you do it to.

    Do the following

    1) Borrowed time base kit and perk will stack together, and increasing it from 12 seconds to 24 seconds, disable both in the end game

    2) proximity to hook penalty is tripled

    3) deduction of blood points if you hook the same survivor twice in a row if there are 3/4 survivors in the match

    This achieves the following thing

    1) It removes tunnelling from the game which is one reason why new players leave, I had 2 friends leave because of this and is 1 new player who posted in the thread.

    2) It gives BHVR accurate kill stats that they can use to make balancing changes to help the killer's chances of getting kills, as right now it is difficult as the game is heavy survivor friendly.

    3) You become a better and more skilful killer as there is no skill in camping and tunnelling

    4) In the end game, you don't have to deal with borrowed time anymore or the unfair proximity to the hook penalty

    To cover excuses for tunnelling/camping

    1) I play killer as well and have both legendary killer and survivor achievements but sure call me entitled all you want.

    2) Most horror movies on which this game is based, don't have the killer killing everyone, so no, 4k and killers winning shouldn't be a thing, the fun is about trying.

    3) The changes I suggest only prevent you from tunnelling the survivor on the hook, you can still chase the survivor who unhooked and snowball

    4) Yes, I realize the game is heavily survivor sided right now, but that is no excuse to put your own need for what you perceive to be a win ahead of the fun of other players, it's selfish to do so

    5) Yes, survivors can play in a cheap way and something needs to be done about that as well, but a killer can play around that for the most part.

    6) This isn't just my opinion, its a fact that many players agree with for longer than I played DBD

Now I leave y'all to it but finally, you know I'm right about tunnelling/camping

killers are not meant to win and there is no such thing as winning/losing in the game,

    2) Most horror movies on which this game is based, don't have the killer killing everyone, so no, 4k and killers winning shouldn't be a thing, the fun is about trying.

In those two quotes, which I took from your other posts; you say Killers should not win or 4K. That means they should play to lose, as it's the only other option. Either you win, or you don't win.

Whatever you view as a win is a personal view point, and your own personal viewpoints on how to have fun should not be forced on others. Killers should not have to lose because you feel, PERSONALLY, that 'just trying' is more fun.

the total amount of time is irrelevant. if one person has borrowed time and used it 4 times, it is still the same thing as what you saying.

it's still 48 seconds and I said it should be disabled in the endgame, it only matters if you tunnel the person of the hook, a simple counter to BT and DS is not to tunnel.

It's still 48 seconds, per Survivor.

Even if it only procs once each; the idea is OP, biased, and not worth considering.

Your whole idea, every idea in this thread, is based off your 'I don't like tunneling' stance.

Borrowed time base kit and perk will stack together, and increasing it from 12 seconds to 24 seconds, disable both in the end game

    Biased. Horrible. No.

proximity to hook penalty is tripled

    Biased. Horrible. No.

deduction of blood points if you hook the same survivor twice in a row if there are 3/4 survivors in the match

Biased. Horrible. What about Survivors wearing the same cosmetics to screw Killers? I guess that does not matter, because 'Killers evil'. No. No. No. No.

Most horror movies on which this game is based, don't have the killer killing everyone, so no, 4k and killers winning shouldn't be a thing, the fun is about trying.

    Biased. Horrible. Irrelevant. No.

Do I need to go on? Your entire stance is 'Screw Killers for breaking my fake rules'. Nothing is valid. Nothing is balanced. And your only defense is 'I'm right because I said so.'

News flash: You're wrong. Camping, tunneling, and slugging are valid tactics. You can't report for them. Even the most well-regarded fog-whisperers do it at times.

    You. Are. Wrong.

3minutes 20 seconds? No idea where you getting that from, it will always be 48 seconds no matter how many survivors have borrowed time

clearly, only one survivor can unhook at a time, so therefore one borrowed time base kit and perk would be active at a time.

If every Survivor has BT, and every Survivor uses BT, the total amount of immunity is 3:20. They don't all go off at the same time, so they are not all counted as the same 48 seconds.

Either you have 0 idea how balance works, to not know this, or you're ignoring it and obfuscating the issue by pretending to be unaware.

The idea is horrible, biased, and should never be added. Ever.

  • So you basically want Survivors to get hand-held a win while completely screwing over Killers?

I've seen some pepega takes on this forum but 'Auto-complete every generator' is a new low in entitlement.

  • Pets? Really?

I'm sorry but that's as bad as 'Add dance emotes'; It just ruins what little atmosphere remains. Let's have small dogs or cats or dragons or ferrets following Survivors around. That in no way completely throws what little horror atmosphere remains into the junk bin.

Unlike survivors, who routinely try to just get 2 escapes, right? Lmao. Now trying to kill all the survivors is "bullying"?

Totally unrelated, but I found these two boards and these nails, did you drop them? Seriously, if the game is that bad to you, just go. I play survivor 80% of the time and all of that time I queue up as solo, your "poor me" attitude is so off the mark it's comical.

Don't go look at the Feedback forum; someone in there said Killers should lose BP if they hook the same Survivor twice in a row, and their logic? 'Killers don't win in the movies, so they should not win/get 4Ks here.' 😂

  • @Vampwire said:

Honestly there should just be a bleed-out option. Bleeding out for 4 minutes because the killer couldn't find one dude is annoying and a waste of time. I get that they want their kill but having me play floor simulator for that is dumb. It's the only thing that I would willingly dc against.

I have to disagree. It's already BS when a Survivor off themselves on the hook to give their friend the hatch. Why should they be able to do the same thing on the ground?

Hell, it's BECAUSE Survivors can hook-kill themselves that Killers slug to get the 4K!

Now, if EVERY Survivor is dying, dead, being carried, or Hooked; THEN they should be able to bleed out faster. To avoid spiteful 4k slugs.

Yeah i guess basic gameplay is even to hard to understand for you. No way to discuss something so simple if you just wanna ignore it.

I understand basic gameplay just fine. You're the one demanding 'This is how it goes because I said so!' and then getting all insulting that I disagreed.

Basic gameplay is 'Killer tries to kill via approved means (these include camping, tunneling, and slugging, even if you're angry)' and 'Survivors try to leave through approved means (this includes hiding, using pallets, perks, the exit gate, and the hatch.)'.

You, AGAIN, don't get to decide what is 'basic gameplay'. The devs have decided camping, tunneling, and slugging are allowed. Therefore; they are basic gameplay. End of story.

This will be my last reply to you, as I don't deal with people who get insulting when they have no valid points.

  • @Tiufal said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2916517#Comment_2916517

The intended gameplay is seek and catch. Camping and tunneling overthrows seek. Slugging overthrows catch. Cant be more basic, but you guys are willingly ignoring this.

So, in essence, you're saying Killers are not meant to kill, just seek and catch?

Because Killers intended gameplay is TO KILL. They don't win by 'seeking' or 'catching'. They win by killing. They have many different ways to kill, including: seeking, catching, slugging, camping, tunneling, etc. You don't get to decide how they kill or what is 'intended gameplay'.

You are willingly ignoring this to complain Killers are not playing how you want them to play. Survivors need to stop thinking they get to pick & choose how Killers, THEIR OPPONENTS, play or win.

  • Borrowed Time should never be a basekit & 48 seconds. This is such a biased, broken take.

4 Survivors having this would be a potential 3 minutes & 20 seconds of immunity. If you can't see how that is a problem, then I don't know what to say.

There is no such a thing like social contract. People can quit even on a board game, get over with.

Wrong. There's a reason quitting gets you punished. When you log into a MULTIPLAYER game, you have a duty to NOT ruin it for your fellow players. I mean, unless you're completely self-absorbed and selfish and don't care about anyone but yourself.

    @HexDaddyissues said:

hey man. if my girlfriend is feeling frisky, i don't care how well the round is going or whos match im ruining, no "social contract" matters at that point.

also: there is no social contract. If people wanna quit, they have every right to do that in just about every facet of life. Video games, board games, jobs, living in general. theres no fine print anywhere that states you HAVE to stay.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2915193#Comment_2915193

Wrong again. See my above statement. When you log into the game, you have a duty to not be a jerk. Hence why people get punished for griefing, cheating, and DCing in most multiplayer games.

Social contracts are a real thing. Also; try getting your friends together for a board game night every weekend and quit playing when you begin to lose every time. I bet, in short order, they'd stop playing board games with you.
