@28_stabs Basekit DS/BT? They would need to be seriously nerfed to not be abused; I hear DS is on the table for changes but we'll see. People that proxy camp are really shooting themselves in the foot when it comes to points and pips (for those that care about these things) though, and that's my main point. When I play Killer, I like to spread the damage as much as possible while patrolling the center gens for an easier endgame while also keeping in mind that it's just a game meant for fun. Sadly, alot of people either take it way too seriously and are toxic if they don't get their way or enter the match with the mindset that they need to go above and beyond to crap on someone else's day. Life's too short to be like that, but that's my two cents.
Coming back to hook is ok. I already explained that I dont stand still. I just keep coming back. Well, killing one of survivors or pressuring two is optimal game.
If you like to only hurt survs and you dont care about killing them at all, you shouldnt care about BT and DS. :^)
As I said - it is necessary evil as long as devs allow it. Sacrifices have to be made. 👀

But in your post I responded to, you were salty about DS...which is a perk.
Salty that its a perk. Not because I hate perks. :^) IMO, BT or DS should be base mechanic that shouldnt waste a perk slot.
-
I dont care about perks, I dont care about skins and about who is the obsession. Its about who I find first or who happen to go down. Standing still is boring and unproductive, I dont have to do that, but I do come back and bash unhooked survivors again, and again, and again
until they are dead.
-
I agree, they are fun.
-
somehow we have millions of hours dumped in this game, HMM
-
I like dirt. Im getting dirty Yui's face. BTW, add helmet for her. She has everything but helmet.
-
Yes, its aimed at children who spend all evening in front of pc. We have 18+ and extreme violence tag, but pls dont mind it. Violence is ok. :^)
-
Yes, useless. It still take 3s or even 4s to hide your scratches. If you are in a chase, it wont help you.
-
It's casual game. That's ok.

Myers scratched mirror, wraith all seeing blood, oni renjiro's blood glove, blight compound twenty one what do you mean?
Mirror Myers is noob slayer. He trade everything, including movement speed for wallhacks. He become so slow that I can loop him for 10 gens even in Lery's institute.
Wraith need to cloack and uncloak which take as long as DS stun and wallhack area is only 12m. Doc can nuke whole Pigs map and he doesnt need to uncloak, if someone is near him. Instant smack. :^)
Since survivors can see blood, Oni's thingy is not as strong as Doc's nuke+Illusions that follow survivors.
"21" is only 8m.

Personally, to me it's more of the inconvenience he brings. Yeah, it's awesome to have a mechanic that makes you snap out of it but...then puts you back to it again.
He can lose a survivor and Static Blast to find them again, and you have to have Calm Spirit to counter him? Seems a bit ridiculous and he can be quite oppressive, but I've gotten out of tighter situations against him.
I don't like the Static Blast, if I manage to lose him, I deserve the "Escaped Killer" but 99% he's right back on my ass again AFTER I've already snapped out of it.
No, you cant counter his shock with Calm Spirit. He has his own auras following you (he can see them) and wallhack add-ons that can pinpoint you. The Static Blast give exactly one full madness tier and it always activate his add-ons. Doc, probably, is the most casual game mode, if you combine all wallhack add-ons and perks. He is the definition of wallhack in DBD.

yes and no
an advantage at specific places and when killer has terror radius and a disadvantage vs killers without terror radus or high mobility, because you sacrifice sides of your screen. If you sacrifice sides for top, your reaction time decrease or you can completely miss a sneaking up to you killer. At many maps it can hurt you, because they dont have high walls or walls are solid.
Also, it can allow an advantage only, IF killer like to mindgame. If killer is casually following you and zoning you until you are down, you have 0 advantage. :^)
-
Survs can sabo, get up quick, use protection and DH to escape. I think they can escape anything. =)

Survivors can now find firearms inside chests. Each bullet stuns for 1 second each. There's handgun, six shooter, and AK-47.

I compare only the cooldowns, good bait.
Ok.
True answer is - because Diversion had 45s cooldown. Finally both perks are the same. Both diversions take 45s.
-
why are you kicking my gens?
-
DS is anti-tunneling mechanic that is not fun to use, people only waste perk slot on it to get off hook and play the game a little more. If you think that players must stay on hook all game, you are disgusting.
And PoP- no idea why devs nerfed it. It was ok.
-
I believe new players go after Self-Care or Iron Will first. Then, likely, they go after WGLF. By that time Technician becomes meaningless. I find it meaningless for new players... Is Overcharge overperforming right now? :D
-
POP is op, call the embulance for DBD.

@Xzan said:
Yeah would be nice if survivors would stop tunneling gens. They should be forced to search for a new gen even if there is one at 50% right before them.
In short: Tunneling happens because the surv made bad plays or got hookfarmed. A Killer can be nice if he sees a poor surv getting farmed. But don't expect it.
There are cases where a Killer ignores everything else and goes after a specific survivor. That's tunneling.
They should tap gen only once and move to a new gen. :^)
-
Yes, it is.
Solo<casual or bad SWF<Killer<good competitive SWF
-
She is designed for vomiting over tbaggers in exit gates. She is the only one who can make them sick. Definitely not too bad. :^)
-
oh no
brown rank survivors are so nasty :^)
-
No. If its good enough to be sold and keep you playing for 2h, until you cant refund anymore, thats enough. May be improved only to hold you a little longer so that you buy few dlcs. :^)

i think he's weak and trash tier at red ranks against constant 4man swf's with discord.
I agree, he is trash tier. I play them only to farm bp and meme around, to extend noob survivors games into infinity, if they like to self-care against Sloppy + Thana.. oh, wait, Sloppy now apply only to basic attacks. Devs nerf all fun.
-
All solo players should have Kindred (never waste time going for unhooks, if its doing someone else. If nobody is doing gens, you lose) and BT (never let your fellow survs to reach 2nd hook stage, if it can be avoided. BT will help to avoid completely not safe unhooks and "borrow time" for everyone). One of the last two perks, I agree, can be Spine Chill. And the very last must help you to deal with injured state. It must be either Iron Will or Self Care, or any other healing perk. Sometimes you are forced to do unhooks. If you instantly go down after unhook, it can become a meaningless trade. It is good to be able to tank damage.

And why is it arguable?
1) I prefer Billy, Oni and Hag. Good end game Hag has 9999 speed. The whole map is dead zone. You make a step, you die. She will be summoned from the other side of map, if she take teleport add-ons. :D
2) Again, he cant beat end game Hag. She will teleport in your face and slap it good.
3) Again, he has good add-ons, but they cant make map wide dead zone as Hags teleport add-ons. :^)
4) And again, he is almost as good as Hag, but cant teleport around and nowhere near as Nurse, because Nurse doesnt even need to put traps to activate map wide dead zone.
I'd say he is A- at best, when his lucky stars align. 🚬

I mean, even when they try not to, they still end up breaking something else that they didn't touch at all. But Generators working as intended? yes. But balance wise and gameplay wise? not so much
Balance kinda works, so I believe its marked "OK". Acceptable.

So he have...
The best mobility in the Game
Can use this Power to end chases fast
Relly strong add ons, even If you use only two brown you get a 4k
So he is like nurse for not so good Players.
Only weakness dead hard while rushing -_-
1) arguable
2) arguable
3) arguable
4) arguable
I win. Topic closed.

They have so many broken things that I doubt they will touch what still works. :^)
-
Almost useless. Useful only if you dont have any other perk to equip.
-
You must be good at guessing to be a good Nurse.
-
Good question. Im veteran FPS gamer and in fps games devs somehow manage to deal with few milliseconds long crossfire duels. The winner avoid damage and stay alive. In DBD you can die 2s after vaulting a window... :DD

You must be at rank 20 if bitter murmur is scaring anyone
Its 35s of unavoidable wallhacks and 10 of it is at the end, when everyone hope to escape. For me its an extra kill, an extra bucket of salt. :^)

If you can always hear survivors, it must be doing its job.

Holdup those are the perks that scare you? And doctor and plague?
Thats my favourite combo of perks and killers to annoy and 4k survivors. I forgot to include Infectious Fright for Plague. If you are a noob who cant play them, Im sorry to hear that. Dont worry, you'll eventually git gud. The game is easy compared to Rainbow 6 Siege or other competitive games. Often, I go perkless Legion and survivors still cant escape. :c
-
good man
-
It take forever to charge them, tho.. what should be fixed is matchmaking, because a team is as strong as the weakest chain of it. Well, yeah, if you get players who feed Myers his power, your match is doomed.

You ruin the game for your teammates
Nobody really care about other players. I'd say even devs dont care about us. Instead of making BT and DS default game mechanics that would prevent not fun games where you stay on hook all game, devs locked these mechanics in perks. :^)

Those are meant to be in the game you will never learn how to play if you use crutches to fix mistakes. But idc what survivors run I run them myself just in case it’s a spirit or something where skill doesn’t matter. I’m more asking bhvr to do something to change things around.
Yeah, sometimes skill doesnt matter..
