it works as long as you are injured and unbroken
-
if you are asking for why thats a question only the devs can answer
-
i dont mind sadako you going thru pallets you need to add a coodown to manifesting and demanifesting (15s?). You also have to increase duration of them (+1s each?) and maybe she should move a bit slower while walking thru a pallet (-10%). so that the surv can make a couple meters distance. Also other aspects of her need buffs like shorter TV cooldown and more
-
joe biden survivor when
-
some aspects of sabotaging in general might need buffs but if sabotaging ever becomes viable in average play its probably gonna be the most unfun game for the killers
also yeah some perks need less cooldown or smth

Honestly if you can only keep a chase because of scratch marks. that's a skill issue, no offense
^ this. and if its ever abused just make a 30s cooldown so at the 2nd pallet onwards you can follow easily
-
i dont mind but killers may or may not need a buff to balance that. Eg: kicking a gen now insta regresses 5% instead of 2.5%
-
getting a hit shouldnt last over 32 seconds. holding W only works against m1 low mobility killers (that admittedly need buffs), but those killers have ways to somewhat make up for it, like setup/stalk killers. even after a sprint burst gives 18m of free distance (hold W gives 12m in those 3 seconds) can be caught up by a noob standard 115% killer who doesnt know how to zone survivors within 3.91 and 2.61 seconds respectively. of course theres other factors (survs dont start running only when you breath in their face) but you should catch up to them within 10 seconds and there they are forced to start looping, where a successful mindgame will end them.
Also btw as for too many loops and pallets and too big map sizes thats just map issues not prove thyself. those are real issues that should be addressed

People always say "spread the pressure" If the survivor literally holds w, the amount of time the killer spends getting the hit is twice as long as the time it takes the survivor to heal and then they are back on a gen.

So, you get there. Start chasing one, maybe land a hit or 2 on the others. And they all slam a different gen while you chase the other one. Even if the other one just holds w and doesn't use pallets, you are still gonna take 35-40 seconds to down them, pick them up and walk them to a hook. After which prove thyself and 3 other survivors have just finished another gen and are probably already working on the 3rd.
thats why you spread pressure and use slowdown perks. and 1 hook at 2 gens complete (and using your logic all other gens are at 0% cuz they slamming all together on a single gen) usually leads to a 2k in my experience (a fair result). Once you start getting hooks 1 survivor will be off getting a save and you chase the other, leaving 1 survivor to go gens instead of 3-4. From there you can start tunneling
-
survs gen stacking at the start a the corner of the map is good for killer. if they spread out its harder to pressure all of them at once when they are in differnt corners of the map. PT is best used for hotly contested gens (middle gens and last/2nd last gen) as well as bp gain. If you see 4 survs together its a bonus for some killers as well

They said it was for queue times, not to help with the grind. So unfortunately that won't happen.
@Zeon_99 said:
One of the BHVR people said they wouldn't do that since the BP incentive was only for queues. Sucks that they went back on their word about part of the purpose for the incentive but oh well.
damn that sucks, shame

a large amount of <side> charms should be for both sides.

You mean the team with 2 killers that might use iron maiden?
yep, that was before the question was rephrased to improve on clarity so i changed it to team 7 after it was made clear that the winning team was not the team that would survive the longest, but instead get flashbanged the fastest. either way OP if youre reading this big congrats to you for completing your mission
-
move deliverance up and small game and breakout down
-
my honest reaction
-
- Hooking in front of a killer is always a free hook because the rescuer goes down within 3-5 seconds for free. From 1 healthy and 1 hooked survivor, within 10 seconds you have 1 newly hooked and 1 injured survivor,
- Bodyblocking? use STBFL, with buffs to killer attack cooldown, its an absolutely goated perk. Also its a free health state which works well with new thana. Also bodyblocking under a hook only works 20% of the time from my experience as a killer, killers actually have generous angles to hook a survivor.and you usually only need an additional 1 second to reposition. (wriggling takes ~13 seconds, after hooking 8% slower you can immediately start chase with that bodyblocker. Also starstruck is an A tier perk that shreds bodyblokers
- hook sabo: Slugging, infectious fright. even with unbreakable its not hard. I rather them use gimmick playstyles than do gens. yesterday i was up against an RPD offering + Hook offering. They wriggled out 3 times so i decided to play dirty (im generally a "mr. nice guy" killer) and slug all of them. Result was a 4k at powered exit gates. (my build with trapper, one of the worst killers with no counters to hook sabo, was couldraphobia, distressing, unnerving prescence and sloppy.) Nothing to counter hook gremlins
-
I'd Change it to "increased to 6/8/10%" probs, to make it more in line with most perk tiers. Good idea anyway,
-
3 gens can be countered easily from the start of the game. If you still get a 3 gen its still possible to win if you have 4 survivors alive, or 3 decent survivors. You will need to pressure 2-3 gens at the same time, keep running and force the killer to spend those 10 seconds running back and forth between 2 gens to chase you guys away and utilise it to do the gen. also merciless storm isnt hard to complete (if you have decent fps).
-
ohhhh, alright then. hmmm... 5, 7 or 2. Id go 7 probably
-
team 3 because a flashbang locker save might be hard, but finding a twins and freddy is harder 🙃
-
Just leave the game after a round without reading end game chats, or stop going to forums for a bit (or choose wisely which forum topics you click on)
-
Its fine dw
-
go to a very obvious spot in the map and start spinning around and swinging your weapon wildly until you attract attention from the survivors.
you can use corrupt intervention as well to encourage survs to move towards the center areas of the map, where you will be behaving like a madman, so that more of them will get the message faster
-
i think they should add more totem spawns in the corners to make them generally harder to find but keep the the obvious ones as
1) the risk and reward aspect of hexes
2) boons for survivors
-
opinion on your creations:
Reduce, Reuse, recycle: I assume 1 plank per broken pallet? if so seems fine, should get 2 uses on average per game, somewhat map dependant tho. Overall not bad.
Light the way: useless tbh
Immediate action: Not bad, an exhaustion perk that isnt a chase perk other than head-on. sounds good but still kinda weak compared to other exhaustion addons. Comfortable B tier
Locked in here: can be abused to troll, bad. its like repressed alliance (bad perk design)
Cold Blooded: the concept of punishing killers for taking very long to down you is interesting, but your method is very weak and needs and overhaul
Boon: interesting, seems balanced on paper but i cant tell for sure
-
i think it might be a troll instead of an idiot idk, anyway you cant really do anything except find another locker and announce that you are using bult to last in pre game chat. and no i have not witnessed or experienced any survivor on survivor locker harassment before
-
Wouldnt mind since survs have an option to coordinate via pre game chat. However language barriers and stuff are still a thing so it would be nicer if we could see each others loadouts and coordinate from there.
-
im open to survs of different eras (in fact i think that would be really cool) but as for chapters without killers, BHVR wouldnt do that cuz killers are a bigger highlight than survs
-
gate rollback would be an interesting perk, i doubt it should be basekit tho

There are actions to max out Survival besides escaping.
Sacrifice would require late game hooks.
For survival it's really DIfficult to do.
For sacrifice it rewards killers who lets 2-4 survivors survive to endgame
-
Idk about your suggestions but i agree with your main points
-
true, unfortunately this "WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD RUN x NOW OVER y? y is an upgrade of x is nearly every situation" is common in BHVR balancing.
-
Worse sprint burst

what

lets say you played 4 games, earned a normal amount of BP each, (6000bp x 4 categories x 4 games = 96,000). In those 4 games, you completed a daily ritual as well as a tome challenge. (30,000 x 2 = 60,000). With BBQ bp bonus, youd get (96,000 x 2 + 60,000 = 252,000) total in those 4 matches., bonus is 96,000 of those bp, so bbq takes up 38% of your bp earnings that day
Remember that this value is 4 games. the percentage will only increase as you play more. After all, you only get 1 daily ritual every day, and tomes usually take 2-5 matches to complete depending on which level you're on.
Example: 12 Games where you also get an normal amount of bp, (6000 x 4 x 12 = 288,000). get a 30,000bp ritual to complete and completed 3 tome challenges (30,000 x 3 = 90,000). Your total bp with BBQ bp bonus is (288,000 x 2 + 30,000 + 90,000 = 696,000). BP bonus is 288,000 out of this, aka 41.3%
Also do note that i am excluding BP offerings, if i included them the percentages will increase even more.
TL;DR = BBQ bp bonus takes up 30-45%% of your BP earnings, this increases a lot once you bring good offerings and play well
-
TV cooldown can be longer than queue times on some days
-
thats much better than you suggesting nerfing a B tier perk + forcing it to be ran with another non-free perk to make it not a nerf. I agree with increasing skill check intensity
-
lol no
-
play normally, hook all of the remaining ones until all are dead on hook. I see from context then on whether i'll kill how many of them (eg: archive challenge, want kills, feeling nice, etc)
-
youre not in the wrong if you kill them, youre only an ass if you say, for example, slug all 4 of them and let them bleed to death etc. However you are a nice person if you take their offer

ye quite a few people agree with that, i do as well
-
survivors starting together is a good thing for killers
-
you have a very valid point but honestly the easy fix to this is your teammate taking a hit, even if their on death hook (they'll take longer to die than you, as well as that if hey are good in chase, they can hold out for you to take a hit back for them) granted that may not happen in soloQ
-
lmao no your suggestion makes having friends a worse thing lol. you shouldnt be forced to pick a friend to play when with you have 3 others that just makes having friends harder. also 4 flashlights isnt that bad as flashlights are worse than medkits and toolboxes. SWF does have issues tho but flashlights are unimportant and 2 people max is bad. it would be better if there was matchmakings for swf which pairs them with better killer players and such
-
depends on how they got oblivious. eg: hysteria + nurses so you can catch injured survivors off guard if their healing in the next 30s. but in general you can use aura reading perks like bbq or patrol gens

Nurse strongest killer-Free
Dead Hard, COH, BT, Iron Will, Unbreakable, Sprint burst, adrenaline, Prove Thyself Strongest survivor perks-Free
Hex Ruin, Tinkerer, Enduring, Nurses calling, Devour hope, PGTW strong killer perks-Free
plus let’s not forget the shrine of secrets giving away perks for free.
Need I say more
indeed. a more accurate statement is "wait to have fun/win" as you gotta wait for shrine to refresh. you can get an A-Tier build on both surv and killer for free within a couple months of playing tho
A decent amount of characters are locked behind paywall to its also "pay for variety"
but def not pay to win
