The Hidden Issues with a Higher Bloodpoint Category Maximum
With the new midchapter, both survivors and killers can get up to 40,000 BP per match. This is overall a net positive, however, I did not see anything to address specific areas to allow survivors and killers to get up to that maximum 40,000. I personally have issues with almost all of the BP categories, for killers and survivors.
On the killer's side, the Sacrifice category is dependent on hooks. Currently, if you miss even one hook out of 12, then you can't get 8,000 in your Sacrifice category unless you get a hook during EGC (which essentially gives you the point equivalent of 3 hooks). With a new limit of 10,000 in this category, can any killer realistically obtain 10,000 in sacrifice? One way would be to gain two hooks during end game, which is already assuming you have 10 hooks already. I believe the larger issue here is how sacrifice points are distributed and earned. Giving extra sacrifice points during EGC is fine, but it shouldn't the only way to reliably get max points if you get 9 or more hooks (based on the Emblem). My solution is this: The "Caught!" score event is now 1,000 BP instead of 200 BP (hooking a survivor for the first time). If a killer gets all 4 survivors hooked for the first time, their Sacrifice category would be at 6,000 points ((500 + 1,000) x 4), instead of previously 2,800 ((500 + 200) x 4). This basically rewards killers who are able to hook all survivors at least once. Furthermore, if a killer knows he cannot get all 12 hooks, he is at least able to gain some extra BP from getting the first hooks on all survivors. With this, killers only need at least 10 standard hooks (non-EGC) to max out on the Sacrifice category, which I believe is a fair requirement.
On the survivor's side, the Survival category is based on actions that allow you to survive. Currently, it is difficult to max out this category because escaping only fills 5/8 of the category. With this new update, now survival will be even harder to fill because escaping will only fill 1/2 of this category. My recommendation would be to transfer the Boldness category's "Escaped" score event of 400 BP to the Survival category, while keeping the chase duration event in the Boldness category. This would be one of the simplest solutions that also would make intuitive sense since escaping the killer seems to belong more with survival rather than bold actions.

Those are good changes, I hope Bhvr implements them
Idk about your suggestions but i agree with your main points
40k with no bonus multiplier is less than 64k with a 1-2x multiplier to the rate of earning up to that cap. its an attempt at lessening the blow of BBQ/WGLF's bonuses, nothing more.
There are actions to max out Survival besides escaping.
Sacrifice would require late game hooks.
For survival it's really DIfficult to do.
For sacrifice it rewards killers who lets 2-4 survivors survive to endgame
