    1. Her RBT's ensure that a survivor stops focusing on doing gens and has to run around for up to 2 minutes trying to get it off of their head.
    2. If they don't get the RBT off of their head before the timer runs out, it kills them.
    3. Pig can bodyblock the jigsaw boxes to ensure an RBT will kill a survivor.
    4. Jigsaw boxes skillchecks are affected by Unnerving presence.
    5. She's stealthy.
    6. If she has 2 or more survivors with ticking RBT's she can focus on the survivors doing gens instead which stops survivors from doing them efficiently, resulting in slowing the gen progress to a crawl, and hands her an easy win.
    7. RBT's = same slowdown as "old" Ruin, except it can't be destroyed in the first minute of the match, and it's her base kit so it doesn't take up a perk slot.

    "PiG OP, pLZ NeRf!"

Pretty much what every pig does when i go against them there are a few pigs that go stealth and camp but i would say this is a good reason

If the hitbox didn't feel like she was throwing a mini fridge at you they'd be okay.

As someone who loves to play huntress this is funny cause you're not lol

  • Probably like the ruin nerf only new players complained about it lol i as a survivor had no issue with pop nor old ruin it was nice to hit those ruin skill checks and kept you on your toes but idk if the changes bring new players just mean new wallets lol

  • I know this has been said but the shrine exists and im pretty sure they have to pay to get those rights for those killers to be in their game so i just don't see the issue making licensed killers being locked only by a pay wall if you don't wanna wait for the shrine do what i do for my friend i own all the dlc he wants a perk from a killer or survivor have him grind 1mill and log into his account and get him the teachable if you don't have friends then well your SOL

That might work but I find it's difficult to get someone tormented in the first place. Unless I leave a lot of trails everywhere or were looping the same structure. They usually don't get tormented during a chase.

Yeah its difficult but usually when they get torment on someone that's when tunnel vision kicks in and im glad hook perks don't work on him or surviours cause its fair to say gettimg easy hope and huntress stacks will be ridiculous

  • @EvilJoshy said:

As a killer main. Personally I wouldn't mind if BT worked with cages. I would really like wglf to work for when I farm but then what is the point of cages then? The PHs that cage and run straight to it does feel like it promotes tunneling, by the way there is nothing wrong with tunneling even though it sucks when it happens to you. However if all your hook perks worked with cages than the only reason to cage someone is to avoid DS or if your in a hurry and want to chase someone else. PH is already suffering by sending someone to a cage and he isn't getting pgtw, stacks for DH, thrilling tremors ect. Unless I'm trying to avoid a DS it's often better for me to hook someone over a cage. I do feel the current cage system can be abused but how can it be fixed to work for both parties is my question?

Make it so theres other ways to get rid of torment instead of unhooking someome from a cage cause most ph players save it till death hook for that easy mori

  • I like the map but finding gens is a pain and pyramid head the only reason why ppl gonna think he's op cause he can hold torment till death hook and get a easy mori and there's no way to remove torment unless you unhook someone out of a cage but idk i think he's fun and is the noise bug on pc? cause on xbox i can hear surviours just fine and when i play as a survivor

  • I see more ebony moris then ivory ones in my killers blood web i think my huntress and doc have 10 plus moris on them heck when pyramid head came out dump a mill bp in him got 8 ebony moris lol just luck i guess

No, it has no limits. They said that was how it was supposed to work but it’s not. Even then, if it was working as intended it should only be 3 up and down at the most.

Ahh i see that's what i thought would be fair 3 up and 3 down so At least you'll get ranked with some ppl in your rank but hey a man can dream huh lol

  • Isn't the matchmaking still 6 up and 6 down? If so then you're right in that requirement it's still bs imo if it is still 6 up and 6 down

Well if you are sporting and they feel like they have a chance to make a basement save and actually get to play the game instead of hanging in a basement, it is less toxic. But really, most killers are not like that and like I said - it starts to feel very toxic when you run into several killers in a night trying to do it. You know most of them also need repeated attempts.

That's i how usually play is fair and etc unless they start being toxic when i did it was rank 9 and went against a full squad of red ranks cause one guy was rank 3 so he could match with me since the whole crap 6+ 6- so it's just depends if got ppl who aren't salty, potatoes and map + basement location only challenge i feel bad about doing was the noed one don't like using noed and took awhile to do

  • The only toxic part is the surviors dcing when ur going down to the basement and as for killer its only toxic if u do sit there and proxy camp but i did it without camping and 3rd try with traper on the doctors map its map depending and if u get altruistic players which i did lol

I saw a few clips from people who were about to complete the six feet under challenge but surprise one survivor DC's just because. In the post game chat they say things like "No challenge for you lol"

Credit to u/CaptainRikkai on reddit for screenshot after one guy Dc on last basement hook

How in the hell is this funny? One thing is poking at someone and irritate them a little to have a laugh (like bodyblocking someone in a corner for a little while) but this is just being a ######### thinking its fun.

It is not fun for anyone to have a player DC, either as a survivor or as the killer (although the second case would work on their favour) and specially when trying to complete a master challenge like this.

And dont come at me with a "oh why should I stay in a match that is not fun for me?" Because 90% of the time you Dc because you got caught in due to your lack of skill. If you can tell me to git gud as a killer when you escape by hatch after I destroy your team then Im in all the right to say that you should be the one to get better and stop ruinning other's fun

Oops this turned into a rant much faster that I expected, my bad. Just dont DC please many people are really struggling for that challenge and its already hard enough without people DC'ing to screw up the killer for no reason

Happened to me lol it was very frustrating cause they were a swf group got 3 and right before i hooked the last one he dc'd but what can you do about it sadly :/

    You can't stop me! 😂

It's the only way to have actual fun i do this with micheal ill set there and stare at ppl and watch em scattering like bugs lol rift grind is horrible

  • Probably not since the grind is awful atleast other battle passes give extra xp and etc bhvr just being greedy cause extra xp means shards and shards are some free skins or characters which means less money and i understand you get the 1k back if u do all tiers still is a grind thats doesn't seem worth it imo

I find it so annoying that the only feasable tools survivors ahve to create distance and play mindgames, more often than not end up getting me killed eventhough im pulling them off correctly. i've noticed it more recently. i always knew in the back of my mind playing survivor that it's killer favoured in terms of what counts as a hit and what doesnt but its really making me mad after 250 hours.

I know i sound like an entitled survivor but the game isnt fun when you vault the window and get skullF*cked by an oni m1 or billy's chainsaw. every game feels like a nurse game.

I cant see myself playing any more survivor without friends untill this gets fixed or something is done about dedicated servers. i'll be playing killer and waiting 30 minutes for a game againt people 6 ranks higher than me.

My favorite is when on the doc map and go through the window upstairs and while im falling down still get hit/chainsaw

I usually am not against the Rift or Tome that much, they are just abit too bad rewarded but overall cool and nice for the game for my opinion. But This one challange where you have to hook 15 survivors in a basement or a second survivor while someone is with monstreous shrine already in the basement, obviously this challange is for basementcamp made, you dont really need insidious but I saw alot of leatherfaces with this for those challanges. You cant blame those killers that much because they are forced to play this for this challange, but I question myself why does the Devs support such unfun gameplay?

They are trying to make anti camping and tunneling perks and say it is a strategy even if its UNFUN and FRUSTRATING but they do challenges that REQUIERE this? I never saw something that hypocrite and controversal in my life xD

Probably cause its easier to do that way sadly and leather face usually win the camping game but yeah kinda dumb

Nerp. 9/10 killer has on ruin or BBQ&C nowadays and so survivor mains KNOW what to look out for so with that being said, I don't consider it "rendering a killers perks useless" when every killer uses it. People almost instinctively hop in lockers nowadays because killers tend to run BBQC. Are survivors expected to play idiots more so than they already do? Ijs when people run the same perks every match you start to catch on to trends and, in a sense, survivor instincts start to kick in.

Exactly like when killers expect ds and exhaustion perks from survivors its just common sense and meta base perks on both sides

NOED is a perk for killers who expect to lose all 5 generators. Now what kind of killer expects to lose all 5 generators? A good killer or a bad killer? You tell me. The only time I used NOED was when I was completely new to the game 2 years ago. I was terrible and literally turned 0ks into 4ks thanks to NOED.

I didn't deserve ANY of those kills and quite frankly every hate message I received for winning only thanks to NOED was justified. That's my opinion. NOED nullifies any type of skill since you get increased movement speed AND a cheap instadown at the when most of the pallets are gone (endgame) leaving no chance for survivors near the gates.

Obviously there's counterplay by cleansing totems but that doesn't make NOED any less "cheap n cheesy".

Just my opinion. Take it how you want.

You forgot the fact you get the full expose effect on t1 noed instead of t3 now but i agree to this

There's literally no skin aside from the pig one for whatever reason that costs more than $10 in auric cells. Anyone who says $10 is overpriced obviously hasn't seen the cost of skins in other games. There's no deception, they're not hiding anything from you or forcing you to buy the cells. Also with the price someone stated the obvious above. each piece of an outfit is 400 cells and there are 3 pieces. So the total should be 1200. But if you want the entire outfit you get a 10% discount on it.

Your right want over priced skins go to smite lol want a old t5 skin gotta donate $1000 to there charity thing dont kno if its still a thing but yeah

  • @lynelmane said:

I know that people are going to try and throw arguments at me, or try to say to 'just ignore it', but this salt is too much. I'm going to have a stroke at this point.

So if you're a survivor, and you decide to tbag at every pallet and click your flashlight in the killer's face a million times, please don't be surprised when you get facecamped. When I play killer, I don't camp unless the survivor really deserves it. But I end up regretting it because in the post game chat, they decide to be as salty and toxic as they possibly can. They say 'gg ez' when I get the 4k, and then say that i'm bad at the game, among a million other insults and curses.

Now, this might be easy to ignore for some people, but for me, it's not as easy. I try to have fun and be a decent/nice killer, and the one time I try to punish a toxic surv, I get salt up the ass from them. Why? Because they don't understand how to play nice. And when they get called out, they explode.

This also goes the other way. Salty killers, why do you do what you do? Why can't you just play nice? I don't expect the killer to let me escape the hatch or even let me live. What I do expect is a little bit of maturity. When you get the 4k, or when you proxy me until I die, please dont be a ######### in the pgc. Don't say that i'm an ass for using adrenaline, or for stunning you with a pallet 3 times in a row because you're too cocky with your lunges.

I guess what i'm saying is that the salt/toxicity is unneeded. I just play for fun, and i'm sure so many others do as well.

I wish everyone luck with their games, killer or survivor. But when you feel the urge to say 'nice noed' to a killer when they get you before even needing their noed, please think again. When you feel the urge to say '######### you' to a survivor for recovering from the dying state and escaping because of their adrenaline, please think again.

This game should have some pleasantness to it. Thank you.

Im the same as killer usually dont camp or anything unless they start t-bagging really no need for it tbh plus most of those survivors have friends in low ranks just to match with noobie killers find it funny

NOED has been rampant lately primarily that nice little green emblem that allows a killer to insta down you without much work, lately in the forums people have been telling each other to work on totems. Sometimes that isn't so easy to do without wasting too much time, now this is where my favorite perk which is severely underrated because not many killers ran NOED before but now..... IT IS FANTASTIC.

I get a lot of hate mails from killers for breaking all the totems, the sadness killers experience as that NOED isn't popping up. Small Game is a life saver and a time saver, I'm glad this perk has finally been useful and doesn't feel like a waste of space. I highly suggest you run this perk for those pesky totems.

Us small game users unite xD always have this perk on same as calm spirit

  • @TheRockstarKnight said:

Because as of now I'm really underwhelmed.

Like, even Left Behind has a purpose: it exists to make Escape easier as the last Survivor. It's useless now because the Hatch always spawns but it has a purpose; a reason to exist and for you to use it.

Comraderie increases the duration of struggle state when a Survivor is near in order to...? Do what?

If a Killer is camping you they aren't exactly going to leave because you're taking a little longer to die (definitely not if they know this perk exists), and those extra seconds aren't going to make it any safer to unhook you while the Killer is desperately trying to figure out your eye color. So it doesn't help you if you're getting camped.

If your teammates are super immersed or gen-focused and just leave you to die it's not like this perk will save you or help you. It only triggers if someone is nearby and it's effect only helps if someone is actively attempting to save you. So it doesn't help if you get left to die by your teammates.

As far as I can see this entire perk seems to exist only to help save your life if Nea misjudges how much time she has to get to you before you get Sacrificed.

Someone please correct me if I have this wrong.

"Figure out your eye color" 😂😂😂 thats the best thing i have ever herd of lol

consoles lead to issues with patches and updates..

(Basically BHVR gives the update it goes to sony/microsoft , they receive it. Now they have to get it live to be updated which could be a few days later from when they actually received it which also means it's more expensive for BHVR to go out of their way to do this .. even for PTB's)

Long story short consoles suck and lead to bigger problems, just wait.

BTW The devs will never put PTB's on consoles

Could be like clown and take like a month lol cause they wanna Microsoft and sony wanna take their time lol

Once again. If you let survivors get points following a Killer disconnecting, you're gonna get a lot more survivors who're hellbent on trying to make the Killer DC.

That's the problem of it all.

I mean killers get points when surviors dc

  • My only issue with billy is the hit box with the chainsaw but theres alot of killers with very questionable hit boxes other then that dont see a issue with him

  • I think the time out should be longer smite does like 30 mins if you dont pick a god make ppl think is it worth dcing and taking a 30 min time out or not. just my opinion

  • I would think only reasons why dc and suicide counts cause killers gets points for both of them could be wrong

I'm not counting select add-ons that low tier killers may or may not be running. An add-on is not reliable counter play, nor is it a drawback of the perk.

True but still exhaustion doesnt go down mid chase so ehh

  • @ClogWench said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/589378#Comment_589378

First I want to clarify that I'm not claiming any of these perks are broken by any means in their current condition.

Listing things these perks DON'T do means very little, since those aren't drawbacks. Like saying a drawback of NOED is that it doesn't reveal survivor auras. It's just not relevant.

These perks(and most others) all have their own restrictions but not drawbacks. The survivor gets a wholly positive outcome with 0 cost and typically minimal effort. The big difference being that the killer has little to no way to actually counter or stop these. Which is fine. NOED is a risk free perk because even if cleansed, the killer gets extra time during the match as a result so you're guaranteed to benefit at least a little.

Theres ways to counter the exhaustion perks some killers have add on that gives it like doctor huntress and a few others i think could be wrong

@Papamodzz If I could give you 1000 likes I would.

I have no issue with what NoEd does, I have always had an issue with how it is activated.

I agree the issue isnt the one shot its how its activate aswell the fact it got buff so killers can walk around with kmart noed and enjoy lol

  • @Johnny_XMan said:

Survivors have to do all 5 gens to activate No Ed.

Survivors have to cleanse totems in order to counter it.

Survivors get no other benefit from cleansing all totems (aside from BPs), even though it took time away from doing gens/healing others.

What exactly do killers have to do in order to active it? Nothing.

That's the main problem I have with it. Say whatever you want about perks like Adrenaline, but survivors at least HAVE to finish all gens and get to the end in order for the perk to take effect.

So I definitely agree that there needs to be a condition (At the very least) on hooks that needs to take place before it activates.

Not to mention the reason why MOM got change "cause survivors had to do nothing but get hit" but noed gets buff exposed on all levels

  • Also depends who you were playing cause some surviours hair glitch and you can see it from a far

  • The way I see it they are both crutch perks but people have been meta slaving so hard Ruin is their life blood.

Tbh ruin i don't see a issue i use small game n break all the totems to begin with noed i do understand since Metal of man got rework why can't surviours have a nice strong perk aswell? i honestly think if a killer has a insta down capability through add ons, perks and abilities they shouldnt be able to use noed thats my opinion

    Open to friendly debates

  • Lol i see killers who think someone has ds and slugs them n moves on for the 60 secs surviours dont bleed out within a minute and as said before dont tunnel lol its made to punish tunneling and that's what it did to you 🤷

  • @SoylentPixie said:

Totem placement should have been sorted a long time ago to be honest. Some of the spawns are actually really tricky if you don't have a map on hand, but others might as well be waving their arms and jumping up and down for all that they are visible. I've had more than one game where i have spawned literally in front of one.

Usually have the map in my head and remember where some sneaky hex spawns like the game in the ice room in the corner is very well hidde imo

  • The only issue i would see with him is the stalking while in chase when a surviour is looking back at him for some time doesnt knock him out but i could be wrong ( i play on xbox so havent experience him yet) just wondering if that a actual thing if someone can clarify for me please and thank you.

  • i would say just fix the totem spots tbh i play surviour mostly theres been many many games where i load in and small games go off while its loading the match and boom ruin in the open or on a side of a hill like a dam beacon lol

  • @SoylentPixie said:

I'll be honest, I'm one of these freaks that doesn't mind ruin because I treat totems like a second objective, though I'm quick to admit it's not the most interesting one. There has been a lot of ruin and NOED lately (and i do understand why, so not complaining that people are using them) and in response I started using small game and the occasional map. Its worked well so far.

    However...

I do agree another objective would serve better to slow down the game. As pointed out, slowing down the gens just isn't going to be all that interesting, and yet I also agree that having to allocate one perk spot on a hex just so you don't get gen rushed is something that needs to be looked into. Because eventually that ruin is going to be found, and sometimes that might be less than a minute due to bad luck or a sneaky little bugger like me.

More objectives would slow down the gen rush, and will be preferable to gens that just take longer. Nipping the gen rush in the bud will give killers a better chance and free up that perk slot used for ruin. Some might disagree, but another objective is a bit of a no brainer for me, because it's clear that not everyone wants to hunt totems. I've even had people yelling in my messages about my totem hunting despite the killer having both ruin, and a NOED that didn't proc in the end game.

    Shrugs

Sometimes you can't win whatever you do lol

Yeah its not a nice feeling when your doing so good in a game just to have the killer hit you with that noed lol i use small game treat totems first cause usually randoms dont care for them and aswell for ruin or devour etc

  • The only way i see this situation being a issue is if its a fast moving killer and the exit gates are on the same side which would make sense which i think they should make exit gates not able to spawn on the same side next to each other
