  • The only reason you see so many keys atm is because there is a challenge to use 2 keys on the hatch in the current tome. Besides, they still need to complete enough gens to outweigh the number of remaining survivors which is still them having to do objectives, if all 3 survivors are alive they still have to do all then gens, just not open the gate. I'm sure the amount of keys you see will decrease after the tome, just keep gen pressure on until then (pop/overcharge/than). I actually tend to die more often than not if I have a key 😂

Crack it up to just being spaghetti coding, I guess. Perhaps, due to latency, his box clipped into you, and so with being inside of his (girthy) box, you couldn't move.

    That's my random guess, anyways.

Yeah, I figured as much but just wanted to make sure it wasn't an actual mechanic that I just haven't run into. Thanks though

  • Anyone who says otherwise is lying to you.

WAIT, I can understand not liking some of those things but are you seriously still crying about DS when it has been completely nerfed? It only can be used if the killer is a tunneler, so it's only an annoying perk if you are an annoying killer, so maybe stop tunneling? 💁‍♀️

  • Holding the game hostage is pointless, you're just wasting your own time. Just moooooove on

  • I think this would be a great idea if there was a match history. I mostly play survivor (because my killer queue time is 40+ minutes but survivor is only a couple of minutes) but I mostly play solo. It is extremely rare for me to play swf as I don't like it but I would still like to be able to see perks and builds for experience

  • I think it is annoying for both survivors and killers. If you're going to give a killer a free 3000bp then wouldn't they give it to the survivors too? It's just as annoying for either.

  • I think it depends on your rank also. At rank 1 (and OCE region mind you) I see sincere gg's nearly every game from every player. In saying that, most of the people I get matched with know eachother.

I'm a survivor main and I hate SWF when I play as both killer and survivor and I don't like to play with 3 other people. But c'mon, saying it is cheating is a bit much. Sure it can be unfun when the survivors are just playing SWF to literally bully the killer and be toxic but a lot of them do it to have fun. It's a bit childish getting salty enough about it to post on the forums and to swear over it. Just accept it and move on to the next game. At high ranks it doesn't even matter if people are SWF of solo queue, most of the time the high rank solo players already know where totems most likely spawn and know how to unhook and do generators safely and don't even need to communicate with their fellow survivors in order to escape. I enjoy playing killer but I don't play it regularly because most of the time I get a 30+ minute queue time due to the high number of killer players in my region so I just play survivor instead but if I do get a SWF as killer I just play it and accept it if I get kills or not because SWF is apart of the game. Again, I personally don't like SWF because I think it can make the game unfun for the killer but that's life, you won't always get the game you want and you just need to accept that.

In saying that I do believe there should be a casual and rank mode where you can only SWF in casual mode.

Cheaters use aim hacks and teleport/invulnerability stuff to have fun to.
Saying that SWF is fine because it's fun for the survivors would by the aame argumentation say that cheating is fine

Dude that is no where NEAR the same thing.... Cheaters are people who hack the game, not people who use mic, that's just ignorant to think they are the same thing...
The majority of people who use hacking aren't doing it have fun, they are using it to get high rank and to have bragging rights saying they are good at the game.

  • I think that the struggle system is fine how it is EXCEPT that the struggle bar resets if you leave the survivor on the floor for a certain amount of time. I've had killers who abuse that and pick me up just before I'm about to bleed out so they get the full amount of struggle time back and still get the kill points. It encourages slugging, which I know is part of the game and is all fair and well but it just makes for a really boring game and I wish I could just give up on the floor instead of having to wait for the bleed out timer to get into a new game.

I've had some issue with BL, but I feel like anyone who's used the perk for more than a game or two has also run into some issues. The drop has to be distanced high enough off of a rock, vault, or building to proc. But then again I've also been held victim to BL not going off from lengthy heights.

I mean, to be real. There's a lot of problems with this game's perks, and this is just another one to throw onto the pile. I think Exhaustion perks can be pretty buggy and often not proc. I mean, to be honest. I'm just happy they reworked BL to what it should have always been. It's a god send that there's no stagger upon falls when using BL. It's what it should have been from the beginning.

I have more issues with Adrenaline going off while I'm in the killer's grasp, resulting in a poor, sad injured survivor upon unhook.

ALSO, let me just mention DS has bugged out on me a lot recently--- Letting me use it TWICE in one match, even if I MISS my DS.

    Sorry
    Rant over.

Yeah, I agree with you completely. Adre sometimes goes off when you are on the floor but it bugs out and you don't get up for a few seconds so the killer instantly downs you again

I compiled a list of these 4 that I could remember off the top of my head. I'm not 100% sure if Up the Ante is one of them but I think it is and I can't remember if there are anymore. Hope this helps!

    We'll Make It is one.

    So are Streetwise and Vigil.

Oh I didn't know We'll make it showed in the bottom, thanks!

You have to make sure it’s a high enough fall. Sometimes it does not register small ones like how lithe doesn’t proc during chase at times. Just keep using it and you’ll learn which falls will be escape routes. By far my favorite exhaustion perk and even more in love now with the recent buff

I know all this, I have been using bl for a long time but sometimes it just doesn't go off and sometimes I even get a stun which is weird. It's only been happening since the buff :(

    Hi.

I noticed that in game, certain perks will appear towards the bottom left of MY assigned perks and on the right side of the screen. I am aware that these are perks other players have assigned (the bottom left being the Survivors' and the right side being the Killers' (I assume)) but I am wondering if there is a compendium of these perks so I can memorize them specifically and know better what the hell is going on around me.

Memorizing the corresponding pictures to every perk is a bit of a task for me, so I trying to start out with the ones that appear in game because of other players.

    Can anyone help?

Play more, you will eventually get it.

My dude, they are trying to learn, why not just help instead of saying to play more? I'm sure they know if they play more they will learn but they are asking for a bit of a helping hand.

uhhh....the new leveling system where at minimum you get 150 shards per level...???

I currently get about 235 per level since level 20, it goes up the higher level you get I think

  • Can you stop making this post over and over, this is the 3rd time today you have posted this. No one cares.

  • PC
    Red forest
    Killer
    Hillbilly
Using chainsaw and tiering up bloodlust

  • It really depends for me, usually I will want to just play the game normally because I don't really enjoy farming but if it a game where people have DC or I can tell that someone is just trying to get a ritual done, I don't mind helping them out.
  • I think the killers getting buffed will mean more killers will be less obliged to camp/tunnel and less obliged to get salty over survivors taking items they don't like.

  • The devs said it themselves, killers are MEANT to be stronger than survivor's, that's the whole point. It isn't meant to be a walk in the park for survivor's, they are meant to have a difficult time escaping because that's how it would actually be.
I am a survivor main and I completely agree with the decision to keep buffing killers because they need it, especially with the amount of SWF you see, survivors have it easy at the moment. This is why killers are resorting to camping and tunneling, they have to in order to deal with all the SWF and perk combos such as Urban evasion/sprint burst.

  • I like to run Bond, Balanced landing, borrowed time (for some reason not many people take BT) and the 4th is just dependent on how I'm feeling really

  • @Lowbei said:
camping is legit. stop whining about it.

The reason I don't like camping/campers is that here in OCE I have to wait 10-20 minutes just for a game then either the game is over in 5 because I am being camped, I don't see the killer all game because they are camping or I don't actually play the game because I am camping (which I only ever camp if the exit gates are open and the hook is near a gate)
    Solution- Borrowed Time, ez

  • I find it like walking a tightrope, I can understand camping and tunneling in certain situations but I find it very boring and a bit toxic when you get face camped or when someone unhooks you and the killer walks past other survivors and goes straight for you.
Like i said, I can understand it in certain situations, for example when the gate is open, the game is pretty much over then and I always understand camping and tunneling at that point.
I am not a fan of the killers who down you with 2 gens completed then throw a hissy fit and stay at the hook to "secure at least one kill", I just think that makes the game unfun.
In saying that, there is a good way to counteract camping and tunneling which not many survivors seem to take.. BORROWED TIME. I take it nearly every game because at the end of the game it is extremely useful to help your teammates.

  • From what I have noticed, the higher level you get, the more shards you get rewarded.
Pre level 20 I was getting 195 shards for every level up but post level 20 I am now getting 245 shards every time I level up.

  • I think that the nurf to SB and DH is well deserved as they can be used over and over if you draw a chase out. The change to all exhaustion perks is unnecessary in my opinion as the other exh perks are very situational (ie BL needing to be in the right place and maps in order to use it)
The fact that you see a very high number (I see at least 1 person per game) of survivors running Urban/SB is a testament to the fact that it needs to be tweaked.
Even as a survivor main I don't like to run SB because I think it is kinda unfair to the killer when it has pretty much no punishment towards it except having to walk (which most survivors do anyway)
