What about change your hands and improve yourself?

Why Survivors don't enjoy playing againts Freddy?
Never heard or seen anyone utter this sentence, but why do you like spreading disinformation so much?
Were you running out of threads to create today?
-
4 stages to the end, I'd say this billy really deserved this pity kill, straight from the hand-holding bhvr company.
-
@Reinami said:
They nerfed him so he can't curve anymore. So he just isn't fun and his skill cap was signficantly lowered, along with his power.
Now the "best" way to play him, is to just save his power, go under a pallet, and get your free m1. But that is boring.
Nerfed? You mean fixed, of course those insane and stupid flicks were non intended.
-
As a killer I respect Glyphs and sometimes kobe's + I always let Megs escape unless I have a tome challenge.
As a survivor I usually give my item / object to the killer at the end + I offer myself to the entity if the killer had a very bad game.
-
Neither of them should be banned in this situation, since both can free themselves from the 'game-hostage'.
Was the survivor petty? Yes
Against the rules? No
If I were him, I would have jumped out of the locker and ended it, I certainly wouldn't have waited 1 hour without doing anything, but that doesn't take away from the fact that everyone does as they please.
The killer is not entitled to demand the kill, and the achievement is no justification, in fact technically since his aim is to kill survivors he should have been the one to end the game first.
-
I don't know what's going on but it seems that the more games I lose the more good killers I get.
-
Disagree. The only problem is Background Player which currently makes flashlight saves / pallet saves uncounterable.
And you as a killer can still equip Lightborn if it bothers you, expecially if you see 3 or 4 flashlights in the lobby.
-
They should refund all the cakes / bp offerings people brought in the trials.
I personally wasted about 15 of them.
-
Of course I know, I was sarcastic
-
Has anyone said 'pretty good job so far' yet?
-
I fear that +200% will only be reached a few days before the event closes.
-
My condolences only go out to all those poor SoloQ survs in Pubs who were faced with and died at 5 gens from the blight or nurse main, being used as ego-boosts to raise a counter that absolutely nobody gives a damn about, except to prove (as if it were still needed), that the game has never been so unbalanced.
-
It keeps getting worse... pt.2
-
I think that his UVX is sometimes a little inconsistent and I'm still figuring out how it works.
It seems that if you shoot directly at survivors, the bullet bounces off and doesn't make them weakened, whereas if you shoot them behind walls they somehow get hit.
Overall I think he's a solid B tier which is not bad.
-
I've never yet witnessed this mysterious moment, unfortunately.

It’s funny how all those killers here still say it‘s survivor sided and too difficult for them (you see most people in this forum only play killer). This map is so terrible to play on as survivor. I would just dc everytime, when I wouldn‘t get a timeout.
Almost everything is a deadzone, bad main building misplaced in the corner so that the last potential it had is gone, two jungle gyms WOW and mostly 50/50 pallets aka free hit pallets.
This entire 'Mapping the Realm' is a joke.
People give ratings and feedback completely opposite to the objective reality of things just to throw the developers off track.
There are maps with a very high kill rate, yet according to this forum they are balanced or even surv sided (because maybe they have one god pallet that bothers them).

idk that I find him weak as others mention nor is he strong but I find the play style of zoning someone while your power recharges just to get the down or weakened to be pretty bland. If I'm at an unsafe loop I'm dead cause he'll hold me, if I leave to another loop I'm likely still dead before I make it cause he'll just hit me with generous splash damage....like guy in my last match just stood there and waited til he could use power...
between SM, knight and now this guy this play style is becoming so common and feels awful when you go down cause it's like ######### am I supposed to do at some of these tiles?
That's how BHVR designs killers nowadays.
Knight, SM, Chucky, Alien, and now this Unknown.
This one seems to be more like an Artist 2.0 which is another killer with the same characteristics as those above, where you feel you have no chances at loops because it doesn't matter what are you do, you'll keep going down for "free".
Sad.
-
I don't see any explanation for voting "This map favour Survivors".
The only bad thing for killers is that the map is too red, which makes the task of tracing scratch marks and pools of blood very difficult.
Apart from that, the map has become literally awful for survivors after the rework. It spawns huge deadzones expecially in the main-building zone (which is kind of a joke itself) and most of the loops and pallets are ridicoulous.
Also, even in this case the map lacks of high-loops so good luck facing Huntress / DS / Trickster and more on...
Why are you unable to balance the reduction in mape size and its strenght at the same time?
-
This map is very similar to the new one : they are both big but very unsafe. Jungle gyms seem to be missing pieces / walls making them particularly difficult to loop.
But the very infurating thing is that the map is missing of high-wall loops which can be a problem against certain killers.
I'm not a big fan of the main-building as well, since it seems to suffer of the same Midwich's problem : straight corridor and bad pallets.
To conclude, the both the basement and the "shack" are too dangerous.
-
I hate this map.
As @GoodAvocado said, it's very difficult to distinguish loops and tiles (which are very very unsafe) from the real fauna on this map, so the navigation is quite rough. I have difficulty distinguishing colours as I am also colour blind, so it is also difficult to trace scratch marks and pools of blood.
Moreover I think this map is a little to small and that's one of the reason why the gens setup is very rough sometimes, they can spawn very close in the main-building zone.

It keeps getting worse...

75% of surv perks are literally pure garbage.

That just confirms a change not a rework. For all we know it's just adrenaline not activating on hook anymore.
What's the point of this change? Punishing the survivor for what reason?

I'm sure we'll get a Legion buff one day. I mean, BHVR are buffing every other Killer in the game. Even The Huntress and she didn't need any buffs.
We'll just need to wait until after The Twins rework.
Maybe...
(And to be fair, they were probably at their worst during the MFT days).
Actually Legion got many buffs and a full add-on pass not long ago.

I too have stopped playing SoloQ for at least 1 month now.
I only play games occasionally to complete the tome challenges, otherwise I play killer which is currently much less frustrating.
To continue playing survivor I found some people (from my own town even) who have been playing together for years (they are always the same) and I joined them through one of them who I knew from outside the game.
I've tried in the past to use reddit, the 'official' DBD discord forum of my country and also the official discord DBD forum with poor results, since as you already mentioned people aren't always the same and moreover the group experience didn't seem particularly different from the solo one, since many of them were really newbies, so I left it alone.
I suggest you check out the DBD socials in your country (discord, reddit, telegram etc..) and start there, otherwise try sending a few requests at the end of the trials to other teammates and see if you can start grouping.
-
Same as the West Wing.
Very 3-gen-favoured (the hall is very problematic), loops are underwhelming and hooks too easy to defend as killer. Overall the gameplay experience is quite bad.
-
This is the least map I want to play as survivor (and sometimes even as killer).
I just think this map is not adaptable in a game as DBD unless it is redesigned from scratch but this would entail a loss of fidelity to the original game.
-
It is the killer version of Badham.
Indoor map, pallets too unsafe, gates are too close, hooks spawn 5m from each other, hallways are very dangerous, basement is a death sentence, map's too small, strong gens setup.
-
After the rework it feels way better, however the back of the main building is problematic for both killers and survs. There is nothing there and you are either dead or safe if you run boil over.

Why not? Hag can put a trap right on the hook lol
Yes and that is another problem indeed.
-
This is the best time to be playing Dead By Daylight (for killers)
-
He shouldn't be able to spawn hallcinations around hooked survivor.
-
If you think Adrenaline is unfair, you'd better to stop playing this game ASAP.
-
I don't kill Megs.
-
I dislike the map for both sides.
50 unsafe pallets, impossible navigation, stealth killers, 0 gameplay.
-
Too many pallets and only 2 windows, the gameplay is boring for both sides.
-
The most killer-sided map of the entire game, but obviously trolls are gonna vote for survivors.

If the slow down gets an across the board nerf AGAIN, then gen times need to be increased again. Its really that simple
Wake up man, gen times have already been increased and slowdown has never been so strong.
-
According to this forum every map is surv sided 🤣
Yea the map feels a little too big but there is literally 0 safe pallet.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTwNRCTQ8AU&t=877s
In this video Arinad, a famous Clown main said that there is no point in breaking pallets so that they are useless, you just lunge them at the drop and you get the hit.
-
Very underwhelming and questionable perks overall.
Weaving spiders : the time spent in the basement + the broken effect for the rest of the trial is just not worth it for so little. Reduce the time it takes and also let the broken status lasts 2 mins.
Strenght in Shadows : very very mid, also in this case the time spent to travel into the basement and heal at a modest 70% is not worth it.
Wicked : probably the best of the three but very situational, it needs to be activated at the second stage as well and denied in the end-game.
-
Revert the other two Huntress buffs, none asked for them and they are not warranted. Try to add more lockers in the map instead.
Scrap and rework entirely the Clown's Pinkie Finger add-on, it's more than useless now.
Blight keep getting buffs?
The Doctor can literally spam his M2 preventing survivors to unhook now even more easily. I'm ok with the buffs but, what about this?

I mean, if they are going to allow me to unhook, can we at least have a fair range? This way the killer can stay at a safe distance and only get close to hook when chasing a survivor.
I just wish I had a perk to pause my struggle. Problem solved. Anti-camp perk. Balanced. Healthy.
The fun fact is that bubba can still camp in this way without any "penalty".
PGJSF.
-
Yes but with shards.
-
Since the size got changed it's fine, the only problems are the hitboxes and too much clutters.
-
Terrible map for both sides, except for stealth killers and the Doctor.
For survivors the map is too small, it may be a pain finding gens and most of the pallets are unsafe.
For killers may be even impossible to use the power.

We'd like to know what you think about the Temple of Purgation map, part of the Red Forest realm. Please leave any feedback you have concerning this map as a comment on this thread. Your feedback can be as brief or detailed as you'd like!
With the rework the map has become incredibly killer sided, also it spawns too much clutters.
-
Too RNG dependent, it can spawn either deadzones or strong fillers.
The main building is very sad and weak.
