Again, that’s why it would be a rework. Perhaps it could be a little less violent, for starters. Only because there are some queasy people out there. And also maybe the Hag could not jump around as much, but that’s what I think.

I agree, bring this back. It felt creepy and much more Halloween like.
What I was thinking that could be done is the sound at 0:16 would be used when Micheal goes from Tier 3 back to Tier 2. It’s soft-tuned, so it could be symbolizing Micheal calming down.

Furtive Chase is a good perk
Please, tell me how it is a good perk (except for Myers with one of his add-ons)
Because it can make quiet type killers like Ghost Face (Myers included) even more stealthy. Combine that with Monitor & Abuse and you have a grand total of only an 8 meter terror radius.

You do realize this perk is useless, right?
Literal waste of a perk slot.
I don't think having the killer hit a survivor to make them obsession only one time won't assist this perk. The effects themselves need to be improved.
Well then why don’t you give your two cents on what needs to be added, after all, I said my idea wouldn’t be a huge buff.

"Your" as in killer's and "hunt" as in them finding their prey. It doesn't really specify it like one person. Because technically the prey is all 4 survivors, everyone else. Being a song, everyone can hear it right? It isn't only to the person you are currently in chase with etc. Which confuses people. That's kind of how I figured it.
Anyways. Sadly I am learning there are a lot of trolls on the forums, I think they just go for reactions. (Shame can't downvote...) Make any suggestion or bring up an idea and its just "GIT GUD" etc etc. Feedback and suggestions mean just that. You are putting out ideas and then a discussion takes place. There's literally nothing wrong or against doing this. Disagree or agree, it's pretty easy to be civil about it..
Also... picking at someones words trying to dissect them and twist them into your own convoluted argument is .... "wow".
I'll say the same thing. There's freedom to speech, but only to such an extent... You are allowed to say certain things, but others not so much. Like hate speech, threats of violence etc etc. That's communication... but not appropriate... I think any intelligent person can clearly understand what was being said there...
And this forum happens to have some rules. Like "Things that do not contribute to the discussion (e.g. baits, etc.)" and also "Be respectful to other members". Just saying.
ANYWAY.
I appreciated your post because it had a very interesting take on a perk, that I certainly didn't think about. And I am sure others that are interested in the lore and what things say/mean can appreciate it as well. Thank you.
Thank you, for being the most considerate person on this post thus far. This quickly turned from a question to a fiasco, and at least there is somebody here who is the voice of reason. I’ll probably just delete this post somehow.

"Nobody is saying you don’t have the right convey what you think, but to do so in a respectful manner which you have not done" This is what you said. I just said what you said and put an example in. I'm not picking away, I'm simply saying your argument or view doesn't look good when you contradict yourself which is what you did.
Yes that’s exactly what I said and I am correct in that statement. I don’t see as somebody telling another person to “Do your research!” and also telling me my ego got in the way isn’t respectful at all. Which is in a word, toxic.

Also, by saying he can't say what he wants in a respectful manner but he can convey what he thinks, you just contradicted yourself. He could be thinking "OMG THIS GUYS AN IDIOT XDXDXD" And you saying he can't convey that directly contradicts your second sentence, finally, it is also subjective to say it is good. I personally like it as it adds extra regression and pairs well with RUIN.
Read what I said again because I never said he couldn’t share his opinion, and I never said that he couldn’t convey what he thinks. Please don’t pick away at what I am saying and be wrong at it at the same time.

Laddie, I'm allowed to post what I want.
It's me literally telling you to do your research. I get it: This post has an opinion, and I have an opinion that your opinion wasn't even thought out.
So, if you excuse me, I'm going to continue to judge and question your intelligence since you asked for nerfs on an borderline useless perk.
Ok first of all I am no lady. Secondly, nobody is saying you don’t have the right convey what you think, but to do so in a respectful manner which you have not done. Lastly, it is subjective to say Lullaby is useless, as it can be quite devastating if used correctly. So if you’ll excuse me.

.... I can only guess that you ran into someone running Huntress Lullaby with full stacks. Ego came in, and then here we are.

I didn’t ask for you to be toxic on my post.

The only thing I would recommend is change your perk idea from “Every time you grab a Survivor that isn’t in the dying state” to “Every time you perform an interrupt action on a Survivor” the perk idea is nice, but grabbing a healthy survivor is relatively hard to do, and would be too much of a work effort than it is a reward effort.
-
I don’t understand this. This would make STBFL, Remember Me and Dying Light useless. Having 4 obsessions would be unique, but a waste of a perk slot imo.

@Cetren said:
It's totally different than urban though. Urban evasion doesn't speed up your character. Makes you a lot more stealthy sure, but you move at the same walk speed. Fixated makes you actually move faster than you normally would, without leaving scratch marks or loud footsteps or heavy breathing. With that added benefit of being able to see your scratch marks while running. Leaving the uninjured requirement on is justified.
You can still run faster than you can walk. The counter to using this perk is using it to walk 20% faster versus using something actually beneficial to the match.

I just suggested on my forums that Mindbreaker should be buffed from 1/2/3 to 3/4/5. And that anytime a Survivor works on a generator, above or below 50%, they suffer from the exhaustion. Mindbreaker has potential, but was probably nerfed last second before it’s release.
-
I always imagined that the survivors would be around the campfire, but then a big wall of smoke would approach and embody the four of them. The survivors would not see anything for a while, but once the smoke passes, they find themselves in a completely different environment.
-
If they could buff blindness so that you can’t see people hooked, generators done and gates being powered then this perk would become viable. I think Oblivious and Blindness would be a great idea.
-
Here is the perk description;
You look over your friends even in dire situations.
Survivors within 8 meters of you are aware that you have this perk. Once out of range, this persists for 15 seconds.
You may take a Survivors negative status effect if there is less than 20 seconds of the status effect. You additionally recover from it 20%/25%/30% faster. Negative status effects cannot stack. Points for altruism are increased by 50%.
Only one Survivor can use Vigil during a trial.

@Hoodied said:
This is more of a nerf than a buff
You have a knack for finding medicine.
Searches through Chests
are 40/60/80 % faster and the noises they cause along with their hearing distances are reduced by 8 metres.
Pharmacy guarantees an Emergency Med-Kit
on your first completed Chest search.
I got this off wiki but current Pharmacy is kinda better as Tier 1 always confirms a Rare medkit, and after that you can get other items at a fast rate, hell I used to run this perk to try to open chests for everyone to get an item at random.
The moral of the story is some people prefer having other items than medkits out of chests
I understand why it might be considered a nerf, but at tier 3 it guarantees a minimum rare med kit with a chance of getting a ranger med kit. I’ve changed the description since but the perk makes it so you have a chance to get a really good med kit, and get basic ones afterwards.

You can absolutely leave while someone is hooked.
I’m just referring to SWF, almost 100% of the times they will stay back to rescue their friends.

@NuclearBurrito said:
The Survivors aren't on a time limit to find the totem. If the EGC has started then they can just leave and ignore NOED.
Unless if one of them is hooked, in which case not only are they on hit downed, but they can’t leave either.

I do mean 3k before the exit gates are powered.
Practically you just need to 2k before the risk becomes very low that the gens will be powered (baring 1 gen left of course).
Basically there are very few games where the exit gates are powered via the gens yet I am still able to keep the gates from being powered in time. It does happen sometimes sure, but it's rare enough that this kind of build wouldn't come up too often against me.
Meanwhile it's a nerf to perks like NOED due to shortening the endgame and Bloodwarden is uneffected due to needing an opened exit gate to work anyways
Well I don’t see how this nerfs NOED, and as a matter of fact it might be considered a buff because of a time limit of finding the totem before End Game collapse runs out. Blood Warden has always been a situational perk. Sometimes you get no usage out of it, or it may work but bad timing, and there are also the rare cases where you go from a 2K to a 4K because of it.

Simple. Don't run an endgame build and stop the exit gates from being powered.
One does not stop the exit gates from being powered, unless you mean kill the survivors before the five generators are done that is. I wish there was a killer perk that could actively regress exit gate progression, but that’s another topic for later.
-
Ok, a couple of things. This perk is in the PTB, which means that and literally anything else in the game are subject to change. And because it is in the PTB and not in the actual game yet we cannot judge this perk so soon. And my own opinion, this perk counters camping so I welcome that in open arms.

If every Survivor was having 2 perks dedicated to shaving off 8 seconds from the gates then I would love facing that as Killer.
That's 2 less slots being used to stab me or tank hits.
Well then good luck with that, because then with Wake Up everyone knows where the exit gate is, and you’ll have a hard time protecting just the single exit gate while the other survivors go to the next one, also knowing where it is. But your funeral I guess.

Meta is not a synonym for it being bad for the game.
There will always be Meta perks regardless of what perks there are and that isn't a problem, we want as many perks to be Meta as possible because that means they are getting used.
Thus 33% for 15 second gates.
Great, then somebody can bring Leader and the exit gates can now be opened 58% faster as opposed to a maximum of 50% with Wake Up and Leader. And yes, meta does not necessarily mean OP, but then literally everyone will be using the 2 perks. The game needs diversity, not the same formula.

No Killer is going to run Remember me just in the off chance that the Survivor is running a very specific endgame build.
25% speed increase is only a 4 second time save, it's great if you're the last survivor but not a game changer and its outclassed by leader in a lot of situations.
Then what do you suggest? Anything more than 25% would become meta
-
There is a solution to countering DS, and its quite a simple one too, don’t down the unhooked survivor.
I know instinctively it makes sense to hit the person who is the most vulnerable, but there is actually a perfect perk that isn’t a hex perk, and it punishes SWF and altruism abroad, its called Make Your Choice.

I don't know, I just want to be able to run this and a hex perk so I won't hear a totem break during corrupt intervention
Yeah, i'm talking to you devour hope
Well I definitely like this idea but if you want your hex perk to be covered, then use Hex: Thrill of the Hunt. Otherwise Corrupt Intervention will become more of a meta perk then Ruin. And as a matter of fact Corrupt Intervention would probably have to become a hex perk too, if your idea were to be implemented.
-
You suggest instant-blinds, yet you’re saying it doesn’t have to be instant. I get the idea that because the killer is shifting their focus to their charging ability, it would theoretically leave them slightly vulnerable. But it would make a top-tier killer Huntress in the mid possibly low tier depending how smart the survivors are with utilizing their flashlights and knowing proper timing on how to blind. This would change how killers would be made, and would need some sort of failsafe if the killers do get blind when in transition, checks and balances in a phrase. Maybe instead of an “instant” blind, the blinding rate would be accelerated by a certain percentage. Because instant in this case literally means not even a half a second, so maybe not so much instant but faster than normal.
-
I think this perk would be really good with other obsession perks like Dying Light and by itself it is a good tracking perk. I also believe this perk would have really good synergy with my Play With Your Food perk rework and would promote you to higher speeds. But to come to think of it, one change I would recommend is if the Obsession were to change for whatever reason, I think all your tokens should be refreshed to their maximum amount. That way people who use Decisive Strike can be punished for stunning the killer.

It's due to licensing issues. They can't exactly get the rights to change a character's appearance or add new cosmetics to them without the owner's permission, and that takes awhile. Since they managed to get cosmetics for Pig, however, this means we might be able to see the possibility of Freddy, Mike, and Leather all getting some new cosmetics in the future, but don't quote me on that.
Well yes there would have to be licensing needed to be done, but if the Pig and Tapp can get new cosmetics (even though nobody asked for them) and now, with Dead by Daylight getting the arguably biggest licensed contract this game has seen, getting new cosmetics for Micheal (and maybe an older looking Laurie, maybe with her jacket and wearing glasses) should not be so much of a problem other than a however long time consumption. And money of course, but that shouldn’t be a problem because this game is going to get a whole lot more players pretty soon.

Legion, at the time was very broken. His ability made looping essentially useless with no counter play whatsoever. Legion unfortunately was not given enough time and thought into his power, considering his ability is literally a mirror image of Borrowed Time, get hit, survive but with a time limit. His “rework” (if you can even call it that) was done to calm the community that was in a huge uproar at the time, I know I’m not the only one that still remembers everybody saying “Remove Legion from the game”. Legion is a very disappointing case, because in my opinion Legion should be the most interesting killer of them all, but it’s looking like now that Legion is gonna become another Freddy type killer and not receive any major rework/buff until another year and a half. But I have a few simple ideas that could very easily be implemented in Legion to make him a little better;
When Legion stabs an already injured survivor with Feral Frenzy, they become downed.
Legion cannot open lockers when in Feral Frenzy, much like when Billy cant open lockers with his Chainsaw.
At the very least fix the button add-ons. Stabbing another survivor again with Feral Frenzy in order for them receive the afflicted status effect is not worth it and is already discouraged to do.
But those are only a few quality of life changes. Frankly, like I said before, Legion didn’t spend enough time in the oven. I believe the only solution for him/her is to actually remove them from the game to fix them. Because Legion is now, for a lack of better wording, pathetic. Any killer that uses does not use their unique ability at all during whatever point of the game to provide some effectiveness is bad design. Especially more so that Legions power forces him/her to run away from the person Legion is chasing.
-
I think a more simpler thing they can do is to fix the protective hit effect, because currently you only get points for that if you, a healthy or injured survivor, get hit for a different injured survivor. And change it so that if you get hit rather than the other person (who would be healthy in this case), it would count as a stack for MoM. And also, change it so that instead of receiving 3 protective hits, make it to 2. Because even if they were to fix protective hits, 3 is quite a lot, making the perk still useless. And come to think of it, maybe remove the Obsession status effect you get when using the perk, because it also made it somewhat ineffective, because then the killer would never go after you.
-
Because unless you are playing in a SWF, getting healed by other people is not so easy as you think. Sure, you can run Bond so you can find other people, but that comes at the risk of the killer using Hex: Third Seal or some other perk/add-on that makes you suffer the blindness status effect. I’d much rather heal myself in a corner with both angles covered and with my back against the wall then getting healed in the open with the chance of getting stabbed by a stealth killer. Med-kits sometimes works, works until the killer uses Franklin’s Demise, and now you have 10% less charges then before you got hit, also also running the risk of somebody stealing your med kit too. I agree it is a crutch perk, but that’s why like you said it takes roughly give or take 30 seconds to heal yourself to full, much less underwhelming then before the patch when you could heal yourself at normal speed and not 50% less.
-
I agree that Ruin is very annoying to deal with because of RNG, but the catch it that it is a Hex perk, and Hexes can be destroyed. Other than fixing totem spots Ruin is in the spot it needs to be. And also, there is a perk that allows you to see totems in the game, it’s called Detective’s Hunch. Perhaps buffing other generator/regression related killer perks will actually solve the problem? Thanatophobia is a prime example of this, as its attributes are very underwhelming, and only really serve as a psychological rather than a progression effect. Or maybe we could buff certain survivor items like maps, because even though they are classified as rare, they are pretty add-on reliant, and I’m pretty positive that everybody here can see a generator within 8 meters without using a map. Maybe fix it so the numbers are buffed and can also track totems as well.

"Hitting your Obsession with a basic attack earns a singe token" -> "Injuring your Obsession earns a single token"
Current wording will cause you to gain a token at the same time as downing them which I'm sure isn't the intent.
Yea, that definitely solves the contradiction there of thinking hitting the Obsession with a basic attack would still preserve a token.
