If it was voice chat, its not something BVR can ban for, as its not through their system.

Any of the corn, red forest, and some of the Macmillon or Swamp maps are just bad in general and depending on the tiles that spawn certain killers dont stand a chance against competent survivors on them. If you get a God window on M1 killers and the survivor know how to abuse it, good luck. You get Townhouse survivors who know they are going down, just go to the 2nd floor tap a 99'd hook and now you either pick them up and they get a guaranteed free wiggle or you leave them and they get revived or use unbreakable.
Even on S tier killers some of the really bad maps are almost a guaranteed win for the survivors depending on the tile, gen, and player spawns. Back to back jungle gyms by a fun bus with the killer shack and a hill nearby, good luck with that. 3 gening works against randoms or poorly coordinated SWF's but an optimal SWF won't let you 3 gen.
-
It needs a rework. Its the most broken perk in game atm.
-
Already been a strat, you go in to locker with DS they either wait the time or pick you and getted stunned. Same strats with Head On and DS. Its how I usually get the "x" stun killers per match. Get focused, run to locker stun killer, loop till you need a pallet get pallet stun, repeat until you get downed or chase is over, then use DS if you get hooked and refocused after unhook or run to another locker. You will probably get facecamped after that tho.
-
Detectives hunch is better and so is a map. Small game is okay but you need to know common totem spawns. Then if you already know common totem spawns you dont really need the perk. Totem spawns in general are pretty #########, to easy to find and make hex perks not particularly worth it unless you can protect the totem.
-
Git Gud.
Sorry, been playing survivor more recently.
-
Yeah, lets give survivors more loops before you know balancing the game.

I play killer quite often too, i never use NOED it's like running a noob tube in call of duty, definition of noob.
I like running it on one hit down killers for the extra salt. Its just that lil extra something that sets survivors off in end game chat.

This nonsense of face camping someone over half way through the game because they're good has got to go. This can no longer be a supported "play style?" because it's the epitome of trolling. You legit have the power to make me sit there and do nothing so that's exactly what you're going to do. Because you're upset. No one should feel entitled to kills or escapes. However the way this community acts in game is as if that's how they want things to be. like bubbas chainsaw rev that grants loads of camping, or spirit still being able to go half way across the map every 20 seconds
Post like these make me want to main toxic facecamping Bubba. Like I am already starting to play toxic in targeting players trying to complete survivor sided rift challenges and tunneling them out. Davids and Janes be getting first hooked mori for the next week and a half. Maps be getting franklin'd. No playing Anne Frank in the lockers when you are exhausted on cooldown. No mither just ######### themselves and their team as normal.
You know, playing toxic is kind of fun as killer.

I have no idea how you run into Kate's and Claudettes that know how to loop.
Do we even play the same game? 😂
Peak weekend hours you should run into a few swfs with these characters. Kate, Feng, and Yui tend to be the most used survivors from personal experience so you are bound to run into a few that can loop. Then you have the odd p3 Quintin looking scarier the actual killer. Speaking of that, they should give Bubba a Quintin face mask.
-
He is very easy to hear especially with how bad the sound bugs are in game for killers atm. He is also very easy to spot. Whenever there is an Ash in my lobby i dont specifically target him unless he is running OoO, but he does tend to draw the players that want to loop all game. Ash, Ace, Nea, Feng, Kate, and Claudette tend to be the characters that most of the loopers i run into play as.

Happened 2 times in 1 day btw..
Happens way more then two times a day if you play for long sessions. Its almost a guaranteed if they are SWF, hell ill have 3 dc first 2 min of match to give the last hatch because they didnt like that they got outplayed and 1 on hook and another slugged.
Yesterday I had a lobby of TTV's, 3 dc on each of their first downs as i go to pick them up, they try to give hatch to last but they were all downed and dc'd fast enough it didnt spawn until only last survivor was left. i got the hatch and got the 1 kill with entity displeased. Another SWF lobby 3 toolboxes with BNP and a key, I bring a mori, outplay the TTV at a god pallet hiding my red stain and mori him, he dc's mid mori and his friends dc after him. I go to his stream to ask if anyone clipped that he bans me from channel and starts ranting on how any killer that brings a mori is trash. He ready's up for a new game, brings a skelton key and plays toxic as hell against a billy and ask why he is getting tunneled all match.

Demo is my favorite killer, but also my worst unfortunately. I would love to see those Portal changes. I also think letting him have some sort of control during his thrash move would help with breaking the painful loops he gets stuck in during chases. Allow him to curve his path a little during thrash, kind of like billy's chainsaw.
He is the only licensed killer I do not currently own but have the auric cells on account to purchase him. I know I wont play him solely for the ear ######### every time he screeches. They need to lower his screech relative to the sounds in the game. Sounds in the game overall need work. ######### Demos screech and ######### the chase music.

I run POP, Dying light, BBQ, and a flex spot usually something like Discordance, Corrupt, Thanto, Overcharge, Franklins, Whispers.
BBQ and Freddy's power just go hand in hand, then POP and Dying Light work really well together with BBQ. The flex spot is usually either to help slow the game even more or to help find survivors fast. Corrupt can screw you over if they hide so I tend to run Overcharge if im running a regression build or Discordance for early pressure. Securing that first hook early game is essential on Freddy for how I play him.

Tunneling as mentioned above is from tunnel vision. Meaning ignoring all things in order to get ONE SPECIFIC person. That's what I was trying to describe.
Only if it is detrimental to your overall objective. Otherwise its only focusing.
-
You realize you did not correctly define tunneling at all?
-
Hmm, ive been going after people who are doing specific challenges for the rift and tunneling them out first.

Hi devs and community dbd, when i play with Doctor in ALL MAPS after i use his new ability and start a chase i get a HUGE FPs drops. I can t even play with it or have fun with him. In their last Q&A they didn t even talked about it... Plz guys tell if its just me or if it happens to you guys to... I had to let the survivors escape 2 games because i couldn t hit a survivor with that HUGE FPS drops...
PS: DEVS LESS CONTENT plz and more FIX BUGS/ISSUES. I prefer stay 1 year without a new content and give you that year for you guys FIX the GAME... Thank you i guess.... -.-"
LMAO, 1 year without new content will kill this game and the company. Ahh yes lets operate a business with zero positive cash flow for an entire year.

I just tell them that they can't get better if they just camp and move on. Can't tell someone how to play but you can tell that they aren't skilled
You will develop slugging and juggling skills when you face camp an over altruistic swf at red ranks. Its harder then you think if they are an optimal swf.
-
Wut? You don't mind game with Freddy? HIs mind game potential is huge, the no red stain when in dream world alone makes him a pain in the ass for survivors trying to loop the new and old jungle gyms. His snares are best at simple loops or mid mind games at larger loops. Then you have the tp to catch them off guard when they try to get to the next loop.

We aren't directly mad at the players, we are more mad about this flawed ranking and matchmaking system and I'm afraid that the MMR system won't make it better but worse.
It wont. Trash will be trash.

Ok...so I ain't exactly the best at mind gaming, looping, or even hiding.
I do okay sometimes, sometimes I dont.
But the way the points work with this emblem seem so vague to me.
It shouldn't be too difficult to get a silver right? What am I missing? What counts as a lost chase. How many extra points is a pallet stun? Does head on count?
Getting hit/downed.

Just get a mouse with dpi settings.

The test was done last month on pc.
Hardly anyone was dcing so it worked the only issues were the false timeouts which was part of why the test was needed.
No incentive will stop someone dcing if they want too. At least stopping them from playing will mean the rest who accept the game for what it is can enjoy it more.
Stopping too many playing kills the game. People are going to DC, giving them non punitive incentive to not dc is a stronger motivator then a punitive one.
And as im typing this game crashes loading into a game. Yeah they better fix that before implementing DC penalties.

They were suggesting a buff. I guess people aren't given special profile icons for no reason. Red icon users are very helpful!
Yeah to buffing the obsession which is a nerf to the perk for the killer. You already try to keep your obsession alive and they want to give them a 35% bonus to gens for the obsession.
-
How about you all stop asking for nerfs to killers and their perks. Git Gud.

Who said anything about only survivors should be able to DC? No one should DC just play the game as it is.
Harsher DC punishsments are being worked on. We saw the capabilities of them so good luck as after 6 dc's its a 6 hour timeout which takes a while to go down or you have to play a set amount of game to remove it after the timeout.
If thats how they plan to implement it they are going to have a rough time. I can already tell how thats going to be abused. But its better to reward not DC'ing then to punish too harshly for DC'ing. But it is BHVR, so i dont expect much from them lately.

Well, if you were offering, that would be extremely nice of you. I'd even consider not DS'ing you! 😂
Nah I like saving peoples DS if I need to focus my obsession out of game early on so I can keep my Dying Light stacks.

@twistedmonkey said:
It would be a mechanic which would be abused by some for any reason they deem worthy.
Some examples
Map they don't like, Hit with a perk or item they dislike (DS, Adrenaline, flashlight), Looped, 2 gens pop quick.
Hows that any different then just DC'ing. Like ######### all corn maps.

While this is a solution, it's not really fair to the survivor whos stuck on the hook for 2 minutes losing out on a match worth of BP, and just having a crappy time overall
Oh im sorry, I guess as a killer, I should ask you whats fair before I kill you.

Wow. Honestly surprised people dodge over skins and characters. I only dodge if they have 2-3 toolboxes. In the state of the game, especially trying to learn Clown and Doc with terrible perks, there is no way in hell I'm going against a SWF group with toolboxes.
I can understanding dodging a lobby where all four are running the same character and skins. Can make it almost impossible to keep track of who has how many hooks each survivor has, who has activated/deactivated DS during the match, who is running what perks after having chased/hooked them and moved on to another survivor, etc..
If they are all running the same character and skins its not the end of the world and I will usually still keep the lobby, but if they are doing that and they are bringing in 2 toolboxes, 1 key, and a medkit, im finding a new lobby. Not dealing with the character and skins with all the items they are bringing in, its almost a guaranteed toxic match with a 4 stack swf. It's usually all Claudettes running an immersed build and bringing a Yamaoka Estate offering when it happens.
-
Hag is still bugged from before 3.5.0 and the introduced the new bugs with 3.5.0. Tried playing her again today, after not having played her since the day 3.5.0 went live with the bugs, and she is still bugged to hell, making here not playable. Clown is in a better spot then Hag with these bugs.
-
Id tell you what I really think, but ive already been warned twice this week.
-
The stun is brief and has to be timed right. Like they are running through a pallet, you hit them with shock and they either run through trying to drop the pallet and it doesnt drop or you smack them before they can get the pallet to drop. If you hit them before they pass through first side of the pallet the stun from actions may be over by the time you are able to pass or attack through it.

all i know is every freddy i go against they use paintbrush swinging chains or jump rope with slowdown perks
Its almost like generators get done fairly fast and killers need to slow down the game to have a chance. I know its a crazy idea.
-
Build: Play a different killer.
That is if you want to consistently play well. He will get destroyed by bad map rng and half way decent team of survivors.
-
Sounds like you had a bad game but nothing they did was reportable outside of the end game chat, which depends on what they actually typed.

@Regionlock said:
Survivors are only OP versus killers with a SWF or a super efficient red rank team on a survivor favored map. Killer is not a suppressed role like people make it out to be. My solo queue survivor matches at red ranks on PC can testify to that. It's like a 80 percent favored to killers at rank 1 atm because matchmaking is so bad.
That's because most red ranks are boosted.

Probably tired of dealing with the backlash to their decisions.

Borrowed gives your teammates extra chances to avoid getting hooked. If you want to escape, you want your teammates to live as long as possible just to stall the killer if nothing else
Just as easy to let them die and find hatch.

OoO, DS, DH, Unbreakable or Adren.

@bloodshot said:
Killers should get what ever BP they already get but if a survivor is tunneled they should at least safety pip
lmao, survivors safety pip is ######### easy. I can hold a 3 gen vs a 4man swf for 30+ min and barely safety pip while getting 2 hooks on each survivor and 1 kill. Max out all points minus a few hundred on sacrifice and still barely get a safety pip.
Survivors ease of safety pip or 1 pip is one of the reasons that rank doesnt correlate with skill and why red rank survivor pool is diluted of skill.
-
Because they do, especially on large maps with broken tile spawns, and an assload of pallets. They get done.
