  • Sverkern (twitch Huntress, and nurse) is easily the best I've seen on twitch and youtube. Zubatlel (twitch) second, but there is no competition between them. Not many people even close to them. A distant third, but only for huntress is ScottJund (twitch). Monto and Tru3 etc, although decent, are left in the dust by the previous three.

@Lowbei what part of "This thread isn't about the ban" don't you understand? Mentioning does not equal discussing. In fact, I don't think I even mentioned the ban in this thread, just the fact that he was dc'ing to derank. I'm not discussing it, I'm not contesting it, I didn't even mention it. I was simply using the situation to prove a point.
Also, I believe what @GrannyonAcid was trying to say wasn't that the game was too competitive, quite the opposite. It's too easy to rank up, so getting to rank 1 isn't a real achievement. Anyone who is halfway decent and plays frequently enough can do it, so in that sense it's not very competitive at all, because you don't really have to compete to get there.

Ignore him, he is trolling you, and he's just trying to get the thread closed.

I think unlocking them with event currency should be a option as should paying cells. However does it even count as a event if you can just flat out pay $60 in cells for all of them?

I agree, it's just another cosmetic release like any other. Not really an event like expected.

Well people who would want to buy the skin. Doesn't matter if it is exclusive or not. A skin is a skin

That does not address my questions, and it's not clear what point you are making. It was fun to get the Huntress mask and Feng t-shirt.

They could have the event exactly how it is now. All they would need to do is add one or two event exclusive cosmetics (earnable or buyable) to add much more rewarding depth.

  • I assume the same reason a disturbed toddler might hurt themselves, like head butting a wall when upset. They are harming themselves for a way to hurt other people. It's a mostly involuntary, emotionally immature response to a situation when you cannot get your own way. Plus, a lot of people want to depip, so that makes it even easier for them to do it.

When someone older does it with premeditated thought, it's the same motivation, they just have not the sufficient emotional development not to react and act on it in such a childish way.

So How do y'all feel 'bout twitch streamers that does stuff like this:

    • Facecamp (Killer)
    • Generally Camp (Killer)
    • Calls out another DBD streamer out for behaviour
    • Does nothing else but trolls the killer (Survivor)
    • Has a premade team of full decisive & flashlight (Survivor)

I mean, I myself want to become a Twitch streamer & when I see people do any of the mentioned things I get pissed no joke.
I got facecamped earlier and apparently this streamer was pretty popular and instantly banned me for ironicly saying "Where did you get those facecamping skills? Mind teaching me?" (I'm an ######### I know - but I get pissed that he gets to be popular and well I don't)

I know that you can't just get popular outta nowhere but I feel like facecamping isn't the way to earn fans on Twitch or am I wrong?

Please tell me your opinions & your own experiences with this.

I don't think AngryPug is popular because of his toxicity. He is popular because he can interact with his audience, and keep them entertained. He just happens to be toxic and intolerant of perceived contradiction or criticism. For example, look at Bahroo, he is the fosters a welcoming and tolerant community, without attacking people, and he has greater success than pug.

  • It's a bonus cosmetic for buying the leatherface DLC.

  • I don't like to run the three gen build, I prefer to maximize Blood Points, without torturing the survivors (Although if that's your thing, go ahead).

    I run:

    • Distressing
    • Nurses Calling
    • BBQ & Chilli
    • Overcharge

    With the Addons

    • Order
    • Range extension

With this build, yo can easily keep track of the survivors, and put decent pressure on them. I find order to be great, as I don't tunnel, so with the Illusory pallets, it greatly reduces looping for my newer targets, and this effect snowballs the later into the game you get.

Nurses is definitely optional, as good survivors wont heal near you. The same goes for Overcharge, as better players wont have much issue with the skill-check, but often they will fail it.

Unfortunately, for higher level play, with good SWFs, you might find the 3 gen build is much better.

  • The only thing wrong with camping (apart from it being boring, and a weak strategy, most of the time), is survivors.

    1) It's your fault as a survivor if you all hang around the hook, wasting generator time.

    2) If you kil yourself on hook, you are punishing your team and rewarding the killer.

Both of these behaviours reward the killer. One should punish the killer, and finish gens quickly, and get to the next game.

The killer is a killer, they kill stuff. Punish the lazy killer, don't reward them.

  • Also, I could care less if they removed the block/loved feature. But I understand if streamers would want this feature, as good, successful streamers are often the subject of excessive harassment and stream sniping. But that is not good enough reason to keep the feature. But its no big deal anyway. Who the F cares.

MLGA? MLGA!? M [BAD WORD] LGA?

Who in the WORLD takes this game that serious? Before the game displayed the ping to players it made some sense. Now that pings are displayed...who the hell uses it?

The in game indicator is inaccurate. It is also slow. MLGA gives constant, quick ping, plus MLGA lets you know how many people are in end game chat.

  • Agreed, it feels awkward and clunky now. Every time I down a survivor, I have to micromanage my position to simply pick them up, EVERY single time. It's irritating.

MLGA, a tool that people use to dodge lobbies, is no longer whitelisted, which makes it just a 3rd party app being used to affect the way they play the game.

By this logic, if MLGA is only acceptable because its not detectable, then any 3rd party apps should be acceptable as long as they arent detected, right?

The point, is that if you are not willing to blacklist MLGA, which is ONLY used to dodge lobbies of killers who have beat them in the past, then you cannot be upset at players using any 3rd party apps.

Where do you get your information on how many people use it this way? I've been using it for well over a year, yet I've never dodged anyone for their play style. Nor have I blocked anyone except 1 person in thousands of games i know was lag switching, I don't even block the toxic POSs out there. The only thing I use it for is to avoid people with bad internet connections, jumping from 30 to 250+ constantly, and to know who is still in post game chat.

I doubt I am an unusual case, and any issues you think you are having because of it, may just be perception, not a depiction of reality.
