Why do survivors always ragequit
In 600 hours of gameplay, i've only ever disconnected once because it was my third game in a row against the same leather face using insidious (i mean ######### is that luck). I don't understand why people dc as you double depip and you get no points. often people will dc when they're getting picked up to be hooked for the last time. WHATS THE POINT? You get no points and you were about to die anyway. Instead you end up ######### over that nice survivor who was attempting and failing to flashlight save you because when you dc the killer goes straight for them. Killers do it too, often DCing when survivors are tea bagging at the exit gates when you could just hit them out and get your large amount of blood points which killers can get just for being in the game. Can someone please just tell me why you lot dc and maybe stop doing it as often because it ruins the game for the killer and your teammates.

I assume the same reason a disturbed toddler might hurt themselves, like head butting a wall when upset. They are harming themselves for a way to hurt other people. It's a mostly involuntary, emotionally immature response to a situation when you cannot get your own way. Plus, a lot of people want to depip, so that makes it even easier for them to do it.
When someone older does it with premeditated thought, it's the same motivation, they just have not the sufficient emotional development not to react and act on it in such a childish way.
Plain and simple, ragequitting is a sign of immaturity and entitlement. Survivors ragequit because they feel they should have won despite making bad plays. Killers ragequit because they feel they should have won despite making bad plays.
• being tunneled for no reason
• being camped for no reason
• having a ######### team that won’t cooperate
• being found when you literally just spawned 5 seconds ago constantly each match
Reason for Killers to DC:
• swf team trolling
If they didn’t DC because of these reasons, then they’re just cry baby entitled killers that can’t handle losing and have to pull the plug on their internet to ensure no one gets points if they can’t lmao
Yupp apparently in a video game, everyone has to be the winner. What happened to when people actually thought about themselves possibly losing and just taking the lose cause they messed up..
Because they aren't punished for it.
Wait let me rephrase that, because the game reward them for pulling the plug.
If they dc by cutting of their internet not only will they keep the item they brought in (as long as they still have it on them at the moment they dc) but they'll also get the point they accumulated that far will denying the killer the satisfaction of having a kill.
I play on PS4 and last night I was playing SWF and we got a Freddy on a Haddonfield map. he was a decent killer and didn’t camp. He managed to get a few hooks from all of us now and then but towards the end of the game, he managed to down one of us right when the exit gates were powered. He made the mistake of hooking my friend right by the exit gate. We all rushed in, grabbed her off the hook, and all 3 of us body blocked for her all the way to exit. He couldn’t put her in dream world fast enough to try and actually hit her, and as soon as we got into the gate entrance... instant rage quit before we could actually escape and get our points lmao, and we didn’t even BM the guy.
Because they are entitled children who think they deserve a free win just because they chose survivor.
What is however 100 times more sad than the DCing is that devs actually try to cater these idiots, just look what piping has become for survivors now
It's nice to see a fellow player who thinks it's never ok to DC. Its unfair to ruin everyone elses fun because you're having a bad time.
It's a dirty maneuver, even if you get hooked first/soon after match. You could get rescued. You could help the others, and yourself, escape. Now, you're giving them a full game with less players to pull it off. It's not fair to the other survivors, and they don't seem to care at all. It sucks getting found right off the bat, but that happens sometimes. You play a lot of games and encounter a lot of situations.
Because some survivors are entitled.
Not really the only reasons, but alright I guess? Game glitches and bugs, people using exploits, toxic survivors and killers can all contribute to someone quitting out of a bad match. There is more nuance to it than "people are immature and entitled because I say so and that's the reason".
