Balancing this game is not possible because of SWF, which unfortunately is never going away because if it did, the game would immediately die. Nerf killers and they have even less chance against good SWF teams than they do now (which isn't much). The best the devs can do is to try to keep buffing solo queue as much as possible. Status icons and bots to replace DC'd survivors were a good start. Not sure what else can be done to provide significant solo queue buffs without also buffing SWF.

Buffing solo survivors indirectly buffs SWF

Those numbers are meaningless its an online forum, trust me nobody who matters really knows or cares who you are, its all fake. But its all in good fun so it doesn't matter. gg.

    Count me in!

Now all we need is a petition on change.org!

(I wonder how many more people with thousands of posts will take this thread seriously xD )

Some actually did lol. To be honest though in some of my replies I was telling the truth despite how memish it sounded.

Nobody knows who you are, your tag is meaningless in this instance and the poor satire... satire as it may be, is still drivel.

But its the internet... sometimes you get witty discourse sometimes you get drivel. 🤷

800+ know who I am so you can't say no one knows me about 5k+ also know me. Sometimes you get people who can catch on to things and there are people like you. You should know by now killer mains are all about mind games so, gg.

You're confusing you assumptions, hyperbole and personal biases as facts.

Its very clear you haven't thought this through at all.

I still stand by my first assessment of the main point as what you've written here hasn't built on it or justified it in anyway.

Either it's satire or drivel, I was hoping for satire but I guess it's just drivel.

How could you not catch on? lol I am a Freddy main I literally have Freddy in my name! my god this is easy. All I had to do was take things Survivors say and combine it with facts.

Please don't recommend these things. Even as a joke. Devs could easily take it seriously and start nerfing. You really trust them to make good decisions?

I trust them fully to do what we want them to do if they want to fill up those wallets and get better reviews. If we want something nerfed it will happen all we have to do is boost kill rates vs a specific killer / perk, leave bad reviews, and come together as one in agreement that something needs to be changed in the name of balance. As I said before we will always be right, and the devs will always see it our way because we make up most of the player count in this game. The devs would not want to displease most of the player count now would they? Everyone is might be laughing at this right now but they might not be laughing so much if the next upcoming updates prove me to be right like they have in the past.

I'm not a killer main but you assume what you like if it helps validate your point.

"We clearly need more buffs so good killers can lose to bad survivors." You did read this before you posted it right?

Basically you want to change the game for bad players rather than expect bad players to improve themselves.

It must be great to go through life with no sense of personal growth or responsibility, just blaming everything and everyone else for failure and wanting the world to change to accommodate you as you see fit. Like a warm blanket from reality.

Either that or satire. I stand by my assessment.

Look at everything you said and ask yourself: Has this not been the DBD communities mentality for the past 7 years? Look at Freddy from 2017 all the way to this very day. Was this not why Freddy got nerfed? And Pig? and Hillbilly? and Alien? And the perk nerfs? and unhook nerfs? and just about all the other nerfs? Was it not so bad players can stand a chance? Has this community not blamed everything and everyone else for failure and wanting the game to change to accommodate them as they see fit? Like a warm blanket from reality? Who do the devs mostly side with? Killer? or Survivor? And now you want to say this to me for saying it like it is? I know these might be hard facts for people to accept but this is the reality of the situation.

  • @pseudechis said:

    This is satire right?

In my replies to everyone where have I told one lie? It may look funny, but the only joke at this point is a killer main thinking this game is about balance.

As a Blight Main I think survivors move too slow even with MFT and Hope I honestly think they should move 5m/s base kit and have more perks like Hope & MFT to allow them to go faster

I bet you do Mr. I have no idea why the devs chose you out of all the killers to never touch but don't worry we will get those kill rates higher just like how we are doing that with Skull Merchant right now.

Monstrous shrine IS a good perk now if paired right. Hex: Third eye for blindness is the enemy of SoloQ and makes even bad perks shine like a polished turd!

I actually love Third Seal it usually spawns Infront of me or just close to every generator spawn.

I changed my mind. Survivors should move at 1.0m/s. That would be far more fun!!

That would be a killer dream come true speaking of dreams how's Freddy doing? I forgot he was even in the game after we got done with him.

  • @Crowman said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3577732#Comment_3577732

If that's the case. I don't like that survivors run at 4.0m/s. It's unfun to have to run around until you get close to hit a survivor. We should make survivors move at 2.0m/s as that will drastically increase the fun of catching survivors.

Is my name Alien? I do believe it is you who moves at 2.0 m/s for hitting a Survivor with the tail attack. You need to know your place, you are the killer, we are the Survivor, we are the majority, you are the minority. This is not about your fun, it is about our fun, and has been a proven fact for the past 7 years. Why do you think it took them so many years to give our Survivor perks a slap on the wrist? A minor don't do that again while we roll our eyes at them? It is because they know not to take it to far with us. They do that to give you the illusion you are being treated equally. Prove me wrong.

  • @appleas said:

I bet unrelenting would be nerfed if enough people complained about it.

It would get nerfed if we wanted it nerfed. The only problem is not many people use it so it would be harder to get that nerfed. It is the most used perks that are easy to get nerfed because we find them to be just a bit to oppressive.

Just because the devs think so doesn't make it the right change or fact. You place a team full of comms against some randos in ANY game and most of the time if the comms team actually wants to do well they will do better 9 times out of 10. The only people who get the same view as you are literal greenies to the game which usually shouldn't be taken as seriously as people with experience.

Is every match a SWF? No? I did not think so. The devs know to keep us happy and that is the right change or fact. You said the team on comms will do well if they want and this is true, an actual fact. That is how it should be because you the killer are here for us to have fun with, to enjoy. The people who have the same view as me are the people who see the game for what it is, a party game. It is us greenies who make up most of the Survivor side of the community and that is also why the devs listen to us more than they do the killer side of the community. We are the majority, we give them money and they listen because they know to listen. No one wants to walk out of the office with an empty wallet now do they? Since when has the devs ever listened to anyone from the community with experience?

  • @Crowman said:

You want to nerf your opponent, because your teammates are bad. I'm sorry, but that's not how balance works.

That's not how balance works? Since when? Balance has always been based on how much we like going against something. That has always been why killers get nerfed. If we don't like it, it gets nerfed until we do. But honestly that nerfed killer just becomes boring to fight against because now its just to easy.

  • @Astel said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3577695#Comment_3577695

Killers are also here to enjoy the game. They are not survivors' playthings.

Killers are not Survivors Plaything's? I don't you have been paying attention lately. See, this is how it goes: If we don't like something, it gets changed until we do. That's just how it is, and how it has always been for the past 7 years. People need to get with the program and learn how this works. How many of us Survivors like Hex: Ruin? Not many right? What happened to Ruin when they discovered us Survivors was not enjoying Ruin? It got nerfed right? We did not like you regressing our generators did we? What happened when the devs saw us Survivors not enjoying Regression perks? It got nerfed right? You say the killers are not our playthings since when was they not our play toys? Last I remember when we don't like something it gets nerfed so please prove me wrong.

  • @Brimp said:

    That's a solo q problem not a killer problem.

You think so? Don't worry there are more updates on the way. We will see if the devs think it is a solo problem. I am sure they will see it our way, it might just be a little too oppressive. 😉

  • @pizzavessel15 said:

so you want killers nerfed because survivors arent playing right

Yes, they need to be nerfed until they can no longer win a match. It is about the Survivor experience, we make up most of the player count. For every 1k killers there are 4k Survivors, so it sounds like a very poor business choice to cater to the minority of the player count. If they want our money, they have to keep us happy. So, when we say something needs nerfed it needs to happen. It is about the fun of the majority, not the minority of the community. And if they refuse to listen, we will review bomb this game until we get our way that is just how it goes. If you are a killer main, you should know this by now. If we stay happy, they make money. If we are not happy, no one gets to have a good time. Killers are here for the Survivors entertainment, we don't like challenge, we just want to have our fun with you while chatting with friends because it is a party game. So, if you are the entertainment for the party, you need to be fun to play against or it is not a party at all is it?

I know a lot of ppl talking about how powerful Xeno is but every match I have had with it has been miserable. Tonight alone I had 10 matches and you know how many kills I got in those 10 matches? 0, none, zep and barely got 2 hooks in any of those matches. I'm so tilded so bc I didn't know what I was doing wrong. I have been trying my best to get better at Xeno all this week and I'm at the end of my rope right now. I kinda of want my money back because right now I'm not having fun anymore with them at all. I am not running that bad of a build on him either, Eruption, Pop, Tinker, and Discordance. If anyone has some advice I'm open to it. I'm having a hard time landing tail attacks mostly, esp close-up ones. I just can't end chases fast enough and apply pressure at all. I'm thinking about taking off Tinker bc I think it's hurting me more and helping bc I get panicky when I hear it go off esp when I'm in the middle of a chase with someone. I just don't know what to do anymore, I wanted to main this killer but at this point, I'm going back to Legion which saddens me.

Edit: Against my better judgment Im adding a playlist of my worst games as xeno for review. I'm not happy with the idea but someone asking for it so here we go. I say right now I don't want to see any toxic and unhelpful msg. I will report those who do, either way here it is.

    https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLtMgsO7L31RX32rLC-gheFXSu2Y3VMAFG&si=iaE_UvuDBctRhofc

Also as a few notes, all builds are Otz builds for Xeno. I'm bad at doing builds myself and always use his builds in my 1k hours of the game. Another note on the first match in Thomson house I know what my major mistakes were aka picking up the ash when knowing the Steve was nearby with a flashlight and hooking the ace in the endgame knowing I haven't hooked him before and there was a good chance he had Deli. Anyway, Ill continue to add games to the playlist.

We know that you love data as much as we do, and it's always something that raises a lot of discussion. We're sharing with you of some of the top used perks on both sides.

This is across all MMR ranges, and across all regions - remember some regions can play in a different way and therefore there might be perks that you personally don't see in your games, but we can assure you they are used.

With saying that - here we go:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/DVFZ01XB0AGN/killer.png

In order, they are: Jolt, Sloppy Butcher, Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance, Pop Goes the Weasel, Barbecue and Chilli, Lethal Pursuer, Corrupt Intervention, Nowhere to Hide, Save the Best for Last, and Hex: No One Escapes Death.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/OEA9JED3MVDL/survivor.png

In order, they are: Windows of Opportunity, Adrenaline, Resilience, Lithe, Self Care, Sprint Burst, Prove Thyself, Dead Hard, Bond, and Spine Chill.

This is something we'd like to do on a regular basis going forwards, so you can definitely expect to see more of these on a regular basis.

We know this is going to start a lot of discussion and as ever your feedback around these perks are invaluable!

    The Dead by Daylight Team.

Awesome more killer nerfs incoming because something is worth using... Can't wait.

He needed nerfs? What!? He was the worst killer in the game. F Tier back then literally stood for Freddy Tier lol.

Hey, I was only repeating what every survivor main and every killer main says to me when I talk about the balance of the game lol. I guess now that Sadako is doing a bit better it's not just a game anymore huh? don't worry she will be nerfed in a week or less we can't keep the survivors unhappy for to long. Killers, enjoy every moment while you can because you know the nerf is coming lol.

  • @SirCracken said:

Everything I feared has come to pass. Cheesing people with condemned has never been more brainless. It only takes 5 easy steps:

    1. Equip Iridescent Video Tape + Mother's Comb.
    2. Spam teleports until someone picks up a tape.
    3. Intercept and hit them before they can dispose of their tape thanks to Mother's Comb revealing where they are. And Iridescent Video Tape forcing them to run to the furthest TV.
    4. Go back to teleporting until that survivor is fully condemned. Then kill them.
    5. Repeat steps 2-4 until everyone is dead.

I've never felt less deserving of a kill since playing new Sadako. You no longer have to care about distance, timing, or risk-reward when going for condemn kills. It's so bloody easy now.

Condemn Only Onryo is now stronger but also much easier to play. Effectively making it so you get better results for less effort. Making Sadako feel extremely unsatisfying to play.

Oh. And Reiko's Watch is still nerfed. Because despite Onryo being dead she's still getting beaten like a rented mule.

Chill man its just a game

You’re right, Freddy’s power is very difficult to make lore accurate without it being busted or just impossible to implement.

And I honestly have no idea how to rework him. He’s in a very awkward position right now where he’s weak, unfun to play, and unfun to play against, while also having the worst add ons in the game AND having the problem of the community being split between which version of his power was better.

But if we go through what his main issues are:

    • When survivors are awake, Freddy has no power
    • But his power in the Dream World isn’t even good enough to make up for his lack of power against awake survivors
    • He loses an entire part of his kit when the gates are powered (he should just be able to TP to every gen once they are all completed)
    • His add ons are the worst
    • Oblivious kills a lot of perk synergy with him, so he is limited in his perk choices
    • He can’t really control when someone is put to sleep, he has to hit them or wait sixty seconds

So he needs something to give him pressure in the Dream World.

So a few ideas could be:

    • The longer a survivor is asleep, the deeper asleep they fall. The deeper they are, the weaker they get. So for instance, everyone 30 seconds or so they fall into a different tier of Deep Sleep. Deep Sleep 1 - Functions as now, Deep Sleep 2 - Survivor is revealed to Freddy, Deep Sleep 3 - Survivor is exposed. Maybe then make it so you don’t fall deeper asleep while in a chase.
    • Give him the ability to freely put people to sleep like he used to have, and then give him a bonus for each survivor asleep, so Freddy can control when people are asleep and doesn’t have to commit to chasing them. You mentioned an Action Speed boost, that’s a good idea. Or maybe increase the Hindered penalty for each sleeping survivor. Or when everyone is asleep Freddy gets a massive boost like aura reading or a speed boost, would be hard to keep everyone asleep and he could be rewarded for that.
    • You could make it so he can jump in and out of the Dream World, so he’s gains different abilities in each world and he’s invisible to survivors in the other world, giving him some stealth and allowing him to decide if he wants to torment those who are awake or those who are asleep. Not sure what the different powers would be though.

Not saying these ideas are good, but something along these lines that make survivors want to wake up. You’ll probably be able to come up with something better haha.

And then of course, an add on pass.

Try looking at this then I just made this and have been working on it all day.

The Best Possible Old Freddy Rework — BHVR

  • @BlightedDolphin said:

I don’t think this really solves his biggest problems.

Giving the ability to teleport anywhere on the map at anytime with no requirements is a bit much. And more mobility isn’t what he needs. Maybe give him the ability to teleport in end game, but other than that he doesn’t need more.

This also doesn’t address his biggest issue which is that there is no point to waking up. In fact with these changes it would be better to stay asleep, because I can trigger Snares and cancel his teleport. He needs something that makes you want to wake up.

Are his Dream Pallets base kit now? I can really tell. I think that would be a decent change.

    For the add ons changes:

    • I don’t agree with real pallets becoming Dream Pallets, that would just cause a bunch of issues such as an awake survivor is looping a pallet, but his teammate falls asleep so it vanishes and so he dies because of RNG.
    • An Undetectable add on is kinda pointless since he already has Oblivious and a Lullaby. This would only affect awake survivors, so more reason to not wake up.
    • Making him invisible to hooked survivors just makes camping stronger, we don’t need that.
    • 5 second Incapacitated when triggering Snares is also no very useful. 5 seconds is nothing and you’re pretty much always going to be triggering Snares when you aren’t in gens, so there’s no point in using it.
    • I like the Z Block and Class Photo changes

It’s an interesting idea, but I don’t think this is what Freddy really needs or should be.

Here is a list of things that I have tried that the community said was not good enough, or said it was to op.

1: Dream Totems, I have tried Dream Totems that would allow you to hide Hex Totems and would proc certain perks such as Retribution for a free aura read on survivors for cleansing a Dream Totem.

2: Dream Generators, I have tried Dream Generators that tricks survivors into seeing a completed generator as a non-progressed generator and allows them to progress the completed generator only to find out that the generator has already been completed.

3: Fake Generator Progress, I have tried fake progress while in the Dream World that regresses generator progress but shows them progressing the generator on the survivors screen.

4: Dream Tokens, I have tried Dream Tokens that limits the number of times survivors can wake up.

5: Oblivious while awake. I have tried giving survivors the Oblivious Status Effect while awake instead of being Oblivious while asleep, and while asleep Freddy has a Terror Radius. This was to separate the Dream World from the real world, allowing him to be more powerful in the Dream World but weaker in the real world.

6: Wake Up Exhaustion, I have tried giving the survivors a temporary Exhausted Status Effect for waking up to be more immersive, giving them that I just woke up and now I am exhausted because I just woke up from my sleep.

7: Action Speed Buff per survivor asleep.

8: A limited number of random real pallets become Dream Pallets in the Dream World per survivor asleep.

9: Dream Snare teleportation, I have tried allowing Freddy to use his Snares as extra teleport locations so he can use them more strategically instead of just throwing them around the map randomly.

    10: Exit Gate Teleportation.

I have made 10 reworks for Freddy and every time its either not good enough or it is to good. What does this community want from Freddy other than being some meme based free win slasher? The rework ideas have to fit what they intended Freddy to be and improve on that. The rework ideas have to fit the mechanics of Dead by Daylight gameplay. So what do people truly want? because Freddy was all about Trickery, and environmental manipulation, and bending reality the stronger he got from stealing the souls of his victims and spreading fear. What are we going to do make him another Dredge? and make him spread fear through injuring survivors, and the longer they stay injured it builds a meter that is tier based and makes him stronger over time? Dredge already does stuff like this, So, what can we do? What is good enough to work? Because I am officially out of ideas.

It’s an interesting idea, but I don’t think this is what Freddy really needs or should be.

Ok, since what I suggested is not good enough. What can we really give Freddy from his movies without overpowering him? I own the collection and have watched every movie, wrote everything down he did, and in terms of DBD gameplay this is all I could really come up with and if you reply please don't say "Exposed Status Effect" for falling asleep, or a chest eating someone alive. I have thought about fake totems, but it would not really work when you fully think it out. I have thought about fake generator progress while in the Dream World but that would be figured out in a day and no longer work on anyone. I have considered Dream Tokens in the past where survivors can only wake up a limited number of times, but survivors said the idea was to op which would be accurate to the movie where Freddy said "I had to keep you awake long enough so when you finally slept you would never wake up again." I have tried reverse progress while in the Dream world people complained about that. I think at this point no matter what we try to give Freddy no one will ever be happy with it. It seems like this community has this extreme bias against Freddy and just want him to remain a trash killer, or revert him back to the meme killer he once was but I don't find waiting 7 seconds to become a basic attack killer as very fun to play as or against. Maybe you can come up with some idea because I am running out of ideas, either it is to op or its just simply not good enough.

What if I added this to his Dream World?

For each survivor in the Dream World, The Nightmare gains a stack-able action speed buff by 12.5%

    1 Survivor asleep: 12.5%

    2 Survivors asleep: 25%

    3 Survivors asleep: 37.5%

    4 Survivors asleep: 50%

I left this idea out of my rework because I thought survivor players would say it is to op.

I got this idea while thinking of old Freddy's 50% slowdown to gen speeds. Since slowing survivors down was to op, I thought about Freddy getting stronger per survivor in the Dream World.

Dream Pallets only work on survivors who are asleep, so pallets would only be fake to those who are asleep, and the more people awake the less Dream Pallets are on the map. And his Dream Pallets are only able to be used with the Add-ons that allow him to use Dream Pallets. The issue with the current Dream Pallets is no one falls for them unless they are new to the game. If the survivors bring windows of opportunity, they can literally see you placing them through walls and now you will never get use out of them and if they are on coms guess what? Now everyone knows you are using them so enjoy being powerless all game.

Making him invisible to hooked survivors would prevent a SWF from telling the team where Freddy is going after the survivor is hooked.

5 seconds of incapacitated would help prevent item usage in chase such a Styptic Agent, and would also help you protect totems if you decided to bring a totem build. Totems take 14 seconds to cleanse. now this would notify the killer and prevent them from working on the totem for 5 seconds making it take 19 seconds in total, giving you time to actually protect your totem. This was meant to be used in combination with Swing Chains. I am sure with a 5% increase to movement speed making movement speed 120% while taking 19 seconds to cleanse the totem would buy you enough time to protect a totem if you needed to. This would force them to use an Alarm Clock to counter the Dream Snare and with my concept in mind, forces them to play into your power.

You said to give him the ability to teleport at end game and I did that with being able to teleport to Dream Snares, if you use them with a strategy. Simply place one at each exit gate, Adrenaline activates at end game everyone wakes up, no one can take away the exit gate Dream Snares for 60 seconds, you teleport to the exit gate and let the plan unfold.

You said there is no point in waking up. Well, you could deal with generator skill check zones being reduced by 50% with an 8% regression on top of a regression build, or you could have a 50% reduction to healing skill check zones with skill checks that move faster than normal letting the killer know where you are if you fail one, you can stay asleep and reduce his Dream Projection by 80% allowing Freddy to teleport every 9 seconds, you could stay asleep and don't know which pallets are real or fake, you can trip Dream Snares that slow you down by 15% while speeding Freddy up by 5%, you can stay asleep and never cleans a Hex Totem if the killer brings one. I think those are some very good reasons to wake up depending on the build you bring in combination with the Add-ons.

You said you could take away my teleport by tripping a snare. Sure, if you wanna move at 85% movement speed while the killer can move at 120% for 5 seconds while it only takes the killer 10 seconds to get his teleport back. Sounds like a bad trade to me.

Think about this, The survivor is at a god pallet, and you place a Dream Snare through the wall while the survivor is awake. The survivor cannot hear Freddy teleport while they are awake, and they cannot take away his Dream Snare while they are awake, and they cannot see the Dream Snare while they are awake. Combine that thought with my Add-on rework for Class Photo that suppresses the husk while using Dream Projection on a Dream Snare, Now tell me that is not Freddy strait out of the movies. This would actually pair very well with my Undetectable idea.

Now apply the same concept to an asleep survivor. You can literally use the Dream Snares as teleport locations, or you can use them as mind games in a loop.

While awake Freddy is as he should be a ghost, the spirit of a dead child killer.

While asleep he will truly be a Nightmare making the end game harder to achieve, and when you finally get there, its what he wanted all along.

  • No, I mean it works better with stealth perks and stealth killers but it's still not worth using because you won't be able to down anyone due to healing speeds because they just run off and heal instead of looking for the totem. So currently it is a perk that gets no value.

I was asking about your changes...

And I was asking cause I don't know

Yes Undetectable takes away the Terror Radius and so does Oblivious I was using it on Freddy and it literally served no purpose other than helping Survivors not get downed until I started playing normally.

  • @RaSavage42 said:

Does Hex: Face The Darkness: effect Undetectable???

Cause if not then you'll see this perk along side TOTH, Undying and Devour Hope (or any other Hex perk or M&A) being used by Killers like Wraith, Mickey, Pig and Ghostface

But then again it'll help Hag and Spirit more

Ok then where is it? I sure don't see that perk combination right now. I have used it with PWYF, FTD, and Dark Devotion so I would be rewarded for letting the obsession live but I very quickly noticed how much the perk was preventing me from downing anyone because by the time I hit anyone the Obsession was healed so I said screw it and just played like I only brought 3 perks instead of 4.

I am not arguing hexes are OP. I agree they should get buff. But I am pointing out flaw with his FTD buff creating scenario that can't be countered in any way (and telling that you should have brought perk X or you have no chance at game is not healthy - for same reason as boil over - which I already explained).

I don't see how all I said was take away the health aspect that is literally the only change I made to it. Who even brings Thrill of the Hunt? I have not seen a single killer bring Thrill of the Hunt in months if not an entire year. I have only come across FTD like once since its release. All they have to do is cleanse it once and it's like gone for the rest of the trial. Do you honestly think a killer is going to get value out of FTD by camping and proxy camping FTD Totem? That is not even how you use it. You literally have to hit a Survivor and let them get away so that hinders you, then it takes 25 seconds to even do anything, and currently, if they heal you literally get no value from it, then you hit another Survivor after they heal and now you can't down that Survivor or FTD deactivates, so, that is literally 2 chases that you are forced to give up, with no hooks on the board, as generators are being completed. Due to the healing aspect, it is literally useless on certain killers and taking 25 seconds just to get value once is stupid because Survivors can heal in what 4-10 seconds? And it takes 25 seconds just for the perk to do something? So right now, it is a useless perk that does nothing nearly all game unless you are Legion or Plague.

Easy. You create dhope that literally can't be cleansed. Because timings. It's the exact same thing

Survivors would say that it is not fair

No. I can bring nonmeta perks that help me in special occasions. Like potential energy, autodidact, soul guard and deserate measures - all perks that are niche and none of them good in regular game. And still have 0% chance if you decide to go for thrill of the hunt + this new FTD.

You are creating situation that can only be countered by predicting weird build. That's not ok. Same way as old boil over+ no mither and old rpd library just wasn't fair. It was good thing that the thing got patched away. Now let's not create same stupid thing on the other side

How can you compare the 2? One has to do with the wiggle meter and the other reveals locations for like 2 seconds where Boil Over literally granted free escapes to the point you had to slug for a win or maybe even a kill.

Undying has aura reading. This part is already useful in some niche situations. I think this part could be even buffed. Make the area 16m for dulls instead of 4m. That's an interesting buff making the perk possibly good on it's own (it is also a nerf to boons, because it would show boon location with quite a lot of time to spare to actually intercept it if u want, or snuff it without search time). Making undying that strong sounds like way too much.

Argument about perks that increase cleansing speed is about as bad as some survivors claiming old boil over was ok, because killer can take iron grasp. No it wasn't ok. Killer can't change his build during the game, because he found out he needs it. And this works the same for survivors.

But really. Stop defending things where you went overboard. You made suggestion about 9 perks where for 6 perks everyone agreed it's a good idea. Leave those 3 problematic be a d you already get 6 more interesting perks (if devs cared to do that of course).

So don't debate it? Just take the info and move on? I'm not built like that. So, if it prevents Survivors from bringing the usual every game DH, UB, OTR, PTS, and every other meta perk in the game its just a little too oppressive I guess.

  • @Bwsted said:

That's old undying on steroids, they will never do it.

Remember Me absolutely not. With high mobility killer you would effectively get in situations where survivors couldn't progress gates faster than you can push them off of it. And they already tested regressed switches and said no go.

That FTD could effectively get in situations where it's uncleanseable with certain builds.

The others look fine. I have mixed feelings on the Insidious one. I think I would make it that you get your TR back when you're within 8m from the hook.

So, Undying a perk that literally does nothing other than bring totems back after 80 seconds of a totem being cleansed, and resets tokens back to zero so as long as a Dull Totem remains on the map, is a perk on steroids? And infinite Boons are fine?

Survivors have more than enough perks to increase cleansing speeds, the perks are in the game to be used.

It seems high mobility killers are really holding us back from getting any kind of fun perk for killer and if they are that powerful to the point we can't have anything fun for all killers these high mobility killers need to be nerfed.
