Why can we not see people's number of posts anymore?
I logged on to the forum today and realized I couldn't see people's number of posts (discussions and comments) next to their account names. For some people you can still click their profile to check that number, but if the user just privates it you have no way of knowing.
I don't know why this change was made. Now we have no way of knowing if an account was created just to troll or spam discussions or even back up their own posts posing as a third party. This is just a change for the worse.

I was curious about that too, seems like a odd change as it really just told people which members are most active in the forums which is a good thing imo.
I'm hoping it's a bug.
What's the point in privating your profile anyways?
this community can't handle prestige being shown in the pre game lobby I guess we can't handle a post count.

I hope this is a bug and not an intentional change.

Was going to say your profile still shows when you joined, but then saw you joined 2018 so yeah you could probably get away with this lol

Most likely again some forum update from the forum provider broke it.

Balrog recently identified it as a potential bug, but I could see this as a legitimate reason.
I've seen posts/people dismissed because their low post count suggested inexperience with the game. On the flip side, I'm sure there are people that look at frequent posters and assume "you play too much, you're out of touch with the average player."
To be fair, a lot of 1 post-complainers are most likely Alt Accounts. And then their opinions are questionable, because they either have been banned before or are just trying to bring a certain narrative.
If Vanilla won't cut it anymore can we try Strawberry or maybe even Chocolate? 😋
