Divine light telegraph
Is it just me… or is Divine light far too telegraphed? I dont know if its just a skill issue - which it may well be, but it feels almost impossible to catch people off guard because they see it coming a mile off.
If you think im wrong, what do you think i may be doing wrong???? I do try and hide it behind walls and such before just launching it out but no luck….
May also be me but I feel like cause she quadrupedal she feels so clunky to move on some of the tighter maps

You don't see it coming in indoor maps hence why indoor maps is by far their map of choice and why they wanted the on screen visual for survivors.
Well in indoor maps you just listen when he starts to use his power you move away from the gen or do some random movements. Its not really that hard to avoid still.
"Listen" acting like everyone who plays DBD has the best hearing. There are many players who are hard of hearing or deaf that can't simply "listen" for the power up.
and still that is a counter to it. I am not responsible of someone elses body, life or anythign else. You don't need to take things personally when I am stating that he has a counter even indoor maps.
I mean if you want to remove her ability to injure with the beam on first hit then sure, I guess it'd be fine to remove the warning.
Ah yes, make her a worse Artist in every way. Truly a unique and well thought out idea. /sarcasm
It is, they nerfed Judgment from PTB.
Result? Everyone runs aura builds because half the perks don't have synergy with her power.
Well yeah, the attack is telegraphed because it does damage instantly. If you don't want that then you need to nerf it. Also low key hilarious thinking that she's a worse Artist since her attack can handle different elevations.
Whats the point in making random movements if you dont even know from which direction the beam is coming? Its basically like playing against old Spirit. No counterplay at all. Also I feel like they made the delay to get off a gen even longer. So if you dont randomly look into the direction of the beam at the right moment its already too late to move.
Like most of open maps are rough for her as your light will be visible from so far away before even sent.
Because it makes it harder to predict where you are going. If they see your aura they have harder time to get it to line up as Judgements beam they needs to lead the beam where survivor is running if you aren't literally running straight away from them. Without aura when you play Judgement you have to play them like you would be playing Artist you have to estimate where survivors are running so you can line the shot up. So you have to use prediction and estimate its not point to direction and get a hit. Its also harder to line up when for example survivor does something you would not expect like even double backing closer to you as its not the easiest to turn around and you would have to take your eyes off the survivor as you need to look behind you to be able to shoot it back towards you.
it's extremeky telegraphed with directional audio the redicle and beam all tells not to mention she's huge makes lots of noise and glowing she doesn't really hit people if they're paying attentiom
It's like artist crows where you can basically always avoid it but gives her a ton of map pressure. They can nerf sniping gens for unaware players more go for it just make it more reliable or have more outplay potential at medium-close range (fully or partially revert curve window). Feels like a lottery machine way more than any other ranged killer
More than enough time to see that you’re about to be hit.
Why are they playing this game then? 95 % of this game is related to visual and audio queues.
It's hard to hit good people on gen I always try to predict where they dodge and get more hits from that than sniping gens. But bad players will be demolished by perkless trapper. So being OP killer in this game is irrelevant. Only OP killer was prayer beads gengrabbing spirit and 5 blink Nurse with old ebony mori.
If you're aiming directly for a spot, its easier for survivors to dodge, but it SHOULD be. Its a six second cooldown that goes through all terrain. If it was highly accurate or hard to dodge it would be busted. If you nail 1 out of 4 shots that's a hit every 24 seconds from often times insane range.
What gets hard is when you're on a gen determining when to run. Is the initial beam a fake out? Because most killers at high MMR have just unerring accuracy even with a fake out. Having to get off a gen has a chance of it exploding. Not to mention the possibility that the gen gets locked depending on perks and hook state. You can dodge 3 beams easy, but its all over if that fourth beam hits you. Now you need to go repent.
