How to play as Killer in the Event!
I've been spending some time theorycrafting and I've figured out how as Killer you're meant to work around the incredibly powerful abilities that Survivors get more or less for free during the Black Banquet. Here's my top three tips!
- If a Survivor suddenly gets a free heal or sprint burst or teleports, simply play Blight, Nurse or Ghoul! They don't care if a Survivor gets a health state back because they can chew through them so quickly. What's more, they don't really care about free distance or unbreakable pallets!
- To counter the extremely strong invincibility and increased action speed bonuses that can come later in the Banquet, try tunnelling people very early in the game. That way you don't have to deal with it. And to reduce the chances of all 4 Survivors being able to supply Morsels to the Banquet Tables quickly, don't forget to aggressively slug and camp!
- Trying to use the poison feature to prevent Survivors from using their new powers? Here's a quick tip: don't interact with the event features! Trying to apply an inconsequential debuff that at most affects a single Survivor is simply not worth your time when Survivors can activate them more or less for free!

This sounds like normal Killer gameplay during events to me.
I would say poison the table if you can and have extra poison. It will cause them to lose one plate if they try to place it down so it does slow them down and it will also slow down the person trying to fill the table as they get poisoned too.
I don't like throwing the poisons unless I'm at point blank range but I've had some success staking out a territory and poisoning the heck out of everything. I was able to get some pretty quick downs poisoning everything whilst defending a 3 gen with Legion.
Playing a Killer that can injure quickly, vault the unbreakable pallets and catch up with the mini sprint bursts helps counter a lot too.
4. Do your killer tasks and enjoy survivor for the rest of the event. 😁
I'm not gonna lie i played my last killer match in this event in badham and survivors had portals + invisibility. They just kept line of sighting me and disappeared. Refilled their items and kept healing. I'm not proud…i dced…and i havent gone back to killer ever since. Got my tasks done so im good.
The Legion is far too strong in the event. Since players aren't stupid, the usage rate is 70% for The Legion and 30% for Jason.
There is no point in playing as a Survivor in this event because Legion is way too strong.
It might get hit with a kill switch, haha.
You can hold it like snowballs and see your trajectory of the poison so this can help with aim.
Yeah legion, ghou are great they injure fast, then one tap with poison and even global heal wont help if chased survivor is in deepwound, can both deal with unbreakable pallets and ghoul can catch up with leaps especialy slowed survivors from poison which is great.
Billy,bubba,mayers everyone with very reliable one shot is great too I palyed billy yesterday and had 8 games ending 4k with ruin,no way out,COB and bamboozle with no addons. Then I tried blight and they get the best effects the pallet rebuild with invincibility and it was almost 1k but they were not so careful so 2k but it was pain bigger then with bubba. Today I will try mayers and I believe that with poison it will work maybe better then bubba also I kinda think I will be able to stalk invisible survivors Idk but I feel it will be possible.
I've been using blindness and IDK if that is helping me or not, can survs see tables if blinded? I usually use it to stop them seeing my apparitions on unknown so I can get oblivious value.
I’ve been playing Bubba and using the poison to get free downs.
ngl, I never quit but I did so once with the invisibility. even playing vecna 1 for the orb I was still losing people.
the invisibility reminds me I despise chase music.
I never DC unless my game crashes, but this event and that 1 game in badham..the best map in the game cough.. something just cracked and i got enough. Very disappointing event in many ways. I was looking forward on playing both sides equally and getting cakes.
Just to reiterate that this was sarcastic in case people didn't realise, though there is a kernel of truth here that you have to play like an absolute scumbag and do all of the things Survivor players hate to encounter just to have a shot of securing anything as Killer. Happy Anniversary, we're going to make everyone miserable for no reason!!!
I sincerely hope that the dev team is listening to all the negative feedback they're getting about this and either have a fix in the works (let Killers eat Morsels and do goofy bullshit too!) or at least have a big apology waiting on the other side of this massive disaster of an event. Overwatch got a lot of flak for their anniversary event, but they just gave out some mid skins and overestimated how much grind people would take; BHVR is really punching above their weight lately to be able to compete with Blizzard in unforced errors that burn goodwill.
