Elden Ring could never "kill" dbd. No other game will. Elden Ring is also mostly a single player experience, which tend to have a shorter public lifespan than a live service game such as dbd.

I bestirred myself and the Entity, who was temporarily playing Civ 5, and together breached the shadow realm to watch the 8th Anniversary stream, so the casual players mains didn't have to.
