"A good player or a subtle cheater" - my paranoia right about now.
So for about 5 days or maybe a week in my killer matches, I'm getting such survivors, that makes me question myself about the legit statement of DBD.
There is always exactly 2 or 1 survivor\s in each match, that doing things so "SUS", that only subtle cheaters could do.
Things like:
- Suspiciously fast doing gens, even if you actually pressuring the whole team, and keeping them away from gens.
- They are moving almost the same as 4.6 killers, but covering it by equipping MFT. It feels like each time you lose LOS (line of sight) with injured survivors, they are getting distance on you out of no where.
- Injured survivors make 0 sounds or groans of pain, unless you literally looking right at them.
- They are ALWAYS know where you are, they make 0 mistakes or hesitates at loops, they are impossible to mind-game, despite the HUGE wall, that makes it impossible for them to see you.
- They don't have Light-weight, but their scratch marks are so weird, it makes me want to equip predator.
- After you hit them, they are going SO FAR AWAY, that it breaks the chase almost instantly. <--- This one were sus as hell.
- They are either teleporting or completely disappearing right after gen got completed. (I was right there, when the gen got completed, and there was no one, no scratches, no sounds, no breathing, etc...)
It's either the game is broken (sounds and some perk's stats), they are legit cheating, or they are SO INSANELY GOOD, that just makes me think that I'm really bad at the game.
Hell If I know, gonna keep playing, but definitely something better, than M1 killers...

Unless I see something blatant, I just assume they're good.
Keeps me in a good mental state and pushes me to surpass them.
Congrats on 19,000.
@OP Do you have any video of these things?
Yeah, I think this is the only proper decision on this topic.
Because I noticed that I'm starting to "nitpicking" each small suspicions, instead of actually concentrating on the game.
Yes, I find that I'll get in my own head and start second-guessing everything.
Much better to just buckle down and assume they're better until proven wrong
Thanks, I honestly didn't notice lol
No, I'm recording only moments of blatant cheats (right in my face), in order to properly report these players.
The problem with "these things" is that - I'm not sure, if they are cheating. Each time I'm suspicious about their movement speed - I see MFT in the end game lobby, and being like "Huh, they might be not cheating".
But this "Might be" - makes me paranoid.
Congrats on 19 000!
"Yeees, it happened on my post...!"
The thing that makes me really suspicious is when they're getting every 50/50 right on a mindgame, W'ing away from things perfectly when they don't have a checkspot, but then also ridiculously misplaying the tile if I maintain LOS on them. But they become demigods every time there's no LOS. And MFT just makes you question everything when you're not catching up to someone. I personally think the cheating on both sides is a lot more prevalent than anyone realizes, and people would be shocked to find out how common it is. I've reported 5 teammates in the last week or so alone for instant gens.
I actually was not paranoid, I'm actually playing against a subtle-cheaters, today was the day that my first match I went against obvious cheaters.=)
Without any video, it's hard to say either way.
I'm responding here because your other discussion is 100% going to be removed for not blurring players' names.
The fact that you went against not-so-subtle cheaters doesn't confirm that everything else you thought was suspicious, was also cheating.
3) That's due to BHVR's ######### sound design.
I have suspicions every now and then but I don't let it interfere with my enjoyment of the game in general. Cheaters will eventually be caught and banned, so in the long run it won't pay off. It's a game, it's not that deep, and if they need cheats just to get a kill then I just feel embarrassed for them.
