Wasn't this an issue that happened a while ago?
How do you do the same thing again?
Also, why all the shadow-changes? I'm really not liking this trend.
maybe? I honestly do not remember if it was. I remember that it existed if you broke a wall...
All I remember is an infinite being mentioned in Dead Dawg Saloon, but I think that was back before I ever took my break(s). So around Knight?
It is. Pretty much identical.
It is most likely not a shadow change. More likely a result spaghetti code, just like the Windows of Opportunity perk description.
That's fair - I doubt this is an actual change.
Still, how do they manage to do same exact thing again?
Lerys had also some changes
At this point I dont get why they havent just removed the window entirely. It causes the most issues, just get rid of it.
W take
I was on a break during knight so...
I was too. I took about like a 3-4 month break when Pinhead came out, then took 6-7 month break when Knight released.
Pretty sure it was during that time.
there is reason why nobody breaks those doors. downing someone inside room means you only break the right door. the front door should never be broken. same with bottom door next to the basement. those two breakable walls are there to prevent infinities.
Just destroy breakable door, case closed.
The breakable door doesn't help here 💀
You know how this loop works, right?
Great. One more reason to play Nurse.
Ngl this gives me Flashbacks to rpd library and how survivors would abuse it
Dam 💀
Not only this, but they also added a lot of infinite loops with MFT being added to the game. They balanced distances based on standard survivor speeds. How on earth a long term survivor speed boost got passed QA is beyond me. Has completely broken loops.
Wasn't this why Dead Dawg was changed a while ago to have that window permanently closed? Why would they bring this back?
Original Crotus Pren flashbacks....
I genuinely cannot understand how 7 years into this game, maps are still being designed with these problems…
Another one
Ahaha
At this point I'm sooooo curious, how the hell BHVR manages to break so much unrelated stuff with each update
i break them all and never have any problems
There are infinites in a lot of maps, to be fair.
Well they did touch up on the distance fog in both dead dawg and ormond to be thicker. How that would correlate to a door not spawning there? idk.
IS IT ALWAYS OPEN???????????????? oh god. gas haven and now this. just remove all breakable walls at this point then
Not always, according to the video. They said 50% in it but I haven't actually tested how often it's open
hopefully it's not a feature
Considering the amount of infinites they introduced to the game thanks to MFT and kept it untouched even after numerous feedback about it on the PTB, I'm going to assume it's a feature.
I'm expecting another rpd library scenario where they are going to take multiple times to "fix" the issue
Well....
I guess this happened.
Good to know where I should not go then.
