We do want emotes, you should plan to add them pretty please

I don't understand why in the recent AMA you outright shutdown the possibility of emotes, the game could really use more interaction. You acknowledge the request for such a feature, and you could make money off it easily. So why not?

Please put them into your plans!

Emotes don't have to break immersion, you know?

Such a bad answer from BHVR on that one, so bad.

  • It's definitely not something in our immediate plans as we said, we do have our reasoning and it's not a widely requested feature right now, we do believe that other things have a much higher priority - it's why we did pepper the answer with the "never say never" just because it's not on our plans right now, that doesn't mean it will stay like that forever.

  • I personally fall into the group of people who doesn't care about emotes and would prefer the devs spend their time elsewhere.

"Never say never" is nothing new. You did answer that when we asked for a map based on the All-Kill chapter a long time ago. Yet, still nothing. And that's one example. So do not blame the community if answering "perhaps" is translated into "nope, never" in our ears.

Perfectly said. They seem to love saying that bs.

I'm not blaming the community in the slightest, never have never will.

I've explained our reasoning and our "never say never" is because it's not out of the realms of possibility that we will do it at some point but it's not going to be anytime soon and it's not in any of our roadmaps. I can't really be clearer than that on this. It's not something we have planned.

  • No emotes pls, there are certain things i'm 100% against being added and this is one of those.

maybe people shouldn’t expect an ‚absolutely yes‘ out of a ‚never say never‘?

like.. you bring one example and a ‚yet, still nothing‘ is completely in the scope of ‚never say never‘

  • I desperately don't want emotes.

  • We don't need tools to intensify trolling.

I don't think it's widely requested because people just expect this sort of customisation in live service games these days, look at how much fun people have with emotes in fortnite for example or Overwatch when it was in its prime, it's player expression.

Anything can be used maliciously, it wouldn't be intensified, just give more context as to what is trolling and what isn't, players can already point at pallets nothing would change.

Anyways people do want it, my friends want it, we just want to goof around and do silly emotes when we accidentally blow up a gen, or when the killer decides to meme and interact with them like when they nod and be friendly lmao It would make the game funner to watch also. INTERACTION IS ALWAYS A GOOD THING

  • Ace finger guns when?

  • I'd like them, interacting and being more social is always welcome imho.
