QTC #1: What Are Your Expectations For The Anniversary?
I wanted to start something called "Question the Community" or "QTC". Any and all opinions are valid here regardless of how outlandish or different they are.
I also intend to bring back "Guess the Perk" or "GTP" in a few weeks or so, Ive been busy with college finals so Ive been unable to come up with something for that.
Just overall trying to do fun things with the community, maybe bring a bit of positivity, but I digress.
Question: What are your expectations for the Anniversary Chapter (if any)?

I'm hoping it will be licensed and for it to be "Alien". It's not that I'm expecting it to be "Alien", but after "Silent Hill this was my second dream chapter and feel it would be a great fit. Also, we could do with another stealth killer and having the Xenomorph could bring back a bit of terror in that respect.
Other than that, it does need to be a license really. The Dredge was a great killer and is a hoot to play, but especially after the Skull Merchant chapter bringing such an unpopular killer, they need a popular killer which is well known.
Don't care about new characters, I don't have money to spare to buy every new DbD DLC that comes out. I just want a fun event to play in that gives me good rewards.
Something that shows innovation.
A new mechanic, a new game mode, something.
Um, the entire forums are "question the community". People literally ask questions and want community feed back here all the time. Don't act like you created some series. You just decided to ask a question and thought you might ask more in the future. It's a lot like my series I started/invented/founded called "Sometimes I ask my pharmacist about medications"
Im not re-inventing the wheel, moreso that I want to organize my posts a bit.
A lot of the discussions I make can make it harder for me to dig through and find serious topics/posts, so having some way of separating them helps.
Also a lot of posts you see, people are really negative and critical of other's opinions, I want an area where people can express themselves without worrying about condescending responses.
Well I support that vision but I don't think we're gonna change the nature of internet forums. I"ll be rooting for you!
The least I can do is just led people down a positive direction, of course I cannot actually control people (nor would I want to), but promoting a positive environment for those around is one step towards making this community a better place for everyone.
I’m really hoping it’s FNAF. I used to play a lot of FNAF a while ago and I just wanna see the community’s reaction lol.
General disappointment
Sheeeesh, dude, chill ^^ Its not to be taken THAT serious, but I like a more focused series of posts like this in contrast to the chaotic jumble of your regular forum activities. Its not re-inventing the wheel, but its a series, and people love series, especially when they are later collected and linked in a single post so that you can binge-read them all in one go.
Also, I am hoping for an Alien chapter, but on the other hand, I am concerned how they would pull it off. The Alien would be an awesome character and could bring some really scarry chace music to the table, but besides that I am a bit concerned if they would make it really cool, or another wasted potential. For example, I love Pinhead lore-wise, but his kit and power feels very underwhelming and you could have done so much more with him.
I've always wanted either Slenderman or Jason Voorhees as a killer, but I doubt either of them will be part of the new chapter. I'd also wish for a new gameplay mechanic to be added to the game so that the matches feel fresh and new. Overall though, I'm excited for the bp offerings to make an appearance during the anniversary event. I love getting bp.
What I want out of the anniversary?
A cool liscensed chapter with map changes and QoL additions.
What I expect?
A liscense no one wants, and BHVR bought it bc it was cheap. Alive-Hard, just Dead Hard but hinders the killer. Tsunami, just eruption but injures survivors as well. Boon Square of Healing, just CoH but 100x100 in space and double healing speed. And of course, Call of Pine, CoB but regresses gens at 300% speed.
The new killer will hold 4-gens! To stop the complaints about 3-gens, as they can chose where to set 4 of them at the start.
Edit: All of these new perk ideas would start from the base of the pre-nerf version, and OFC, since its liscensed... PTW!
Oh, also make it leave after 6 months and the perks can't be gotten again.
Overall low expectations in general.
It's the best way to avoid disappointments while hoping for the best.
