Yes, and don't you think that should change? Surely if the community was more welcoming on the whole and more fun to be around then surely it would be dying a lot less. Nobody wants to be exposed to this kind of stuff over a draw.
I have screenshots of people's names from a couple years ago that I don't think I can share here, but they're pretty...bad.
The game has gotten better in that regard, imo. It's a lot less overt, at least.

Anyway, it’s pretty pathetic that some people behave this way. It was probably some idiot teenager with an underdeveloped brain. Just ignore and move on to the next match.
I love when I see this about survivors but the number of times I've seen smooth brain hook campers talk crap is more than I can count. Why is it always killers that complain about toxic survivors? I can assure you by percentage there's likely more toxic killers than survivors.

People run into more toxic survivors than toxic killers because they run into more survivors in general, 4 of them 1 of killer. That's why

I never run into toxic killers when play as killers. Killers have my respect.
To be fair, toxic people dont know they're toxic. Play as Killer and you never run into other killer, while there are 4 survivors (100%). Play as Survivor and you run into 1 killer, but 3 survivors (75%).
Switch is the worst of the lot but at least I don't have to deal with endgame chat. People like that are why I would leave if this game ever got proximity chat. I don't need to hear that sort of rubbish.
I agree with you, the toxicity from other players is 100% killing the game. Killers are highly dehumanized and antagonized by survivors for their amusement, it’s gross.
Highly doubt that. Would love to see proof of that. Killers kill and move on, we don’t care about insulting you after game.
Oh trust me, they exist. As much as Survivors? Of course not. Because as a killer you have 4 different people who have the chance at being upset, and as Survivor you only got 1 person.
i've seen worse... a lot worse (including death threats)... happen to me on a daily basis (i still have a comment in my comment section on steam about wishing my death in a painful way, just to remind me to play in a certain way when i start see something that i don't like) and despite in the past i reported everyone who acted in that way, noone of those idiots were banned whatsoever... i just stopped caring about it and even enjoy it under certain aspects (if they keep blaming you it means that you did well most of the times... sweet salt).
Yes, though as killer, I've seen survivors rarely be toxic to each other. I wonder how often survivors encounter toxicity from teammates.
This is literally how every round of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 ends. Just a flurry of every curse word and phrase in the book shouted by 11 players at the same time, lol.
For some reason some people play this game as if there weren't actual people behind the screens, or remember that there are only to grief.

BHVR does ban people für insults in chat, but only temporary, so you can't see it on their profile and support doesn't tell you if they ban or not, but one player I reported shared a screenshot of their ban, so I know that atleast sometimes bans happen.

Well that's what online anonymity and the missing of consequences, and with that the feeling of being untouchable/invincible, do with some people.
I would also question their upbringing and their mental capacity to remind themselves that there is more than just the user name on screen on the other side.
Perhaps he meant concentration camp as in you lost focus during the match like picked up your phone whilst chasing or missed a few basic attacks 🙃
Joking aside, online behaviour is shocking but is to be expected. Had that been on console, playstion will probably have given them a severe warning or ban.

Uhm... You're not quite right. Even playing as a killer you can still run into another killer. I had that experience. That damn Trickster wouldn't even let me kill those 3 survivors.
