Just wanted to share this video for an open discussion since DbD is running in UE aswell, it looks really insane. And the system requirements aren't even that crazy high.

Would you like to have photorealistic graphics in DbD or do you think it doesn't fit to the theme?

    That looks INSANE. Wow! Imagine DBD like that. You know how creepy Myers, Clown and Hag would look?

    But what's the minimum system requirements for that @DwightsLifeMatters, that seems way more demanding then our current one.

    The game would then look even better than the cinematic trailers! Although I think this would kill your console and burn down your house if your PC isn't that great

    With DBD's optimization it would probably require 3 Titans to run at 1080p30

    From the explanation I heard out it needs a 1080 only. But idk if that guy was only talking about that scene etc. And in games with a lot of stuff going on probably even higher, no clue tbh

    Their "tally" mark loading screen that has only black fog runs at 99 percent GPU at 122 FPS on a GTX 2080 ti Black with a Core i9 9820x on the most diverse and programmable graphics engine that ever existed....

    I'm sorry but DBD would need to bring in an entire diffrently level of game graphic designers to even begin to think of that, imo.

    The graphics could and probably should be better really. Especially if they want to keep this game alive for the next 5 years like they claim, they gotta upgrade at some point. I don't really mind the current graphics even if they are PS3 graphics but ask me that in 2-3 years and it would be an issue
