Extra info on the plague from twitter and other sources

So we all already know about what she does so ill make this quick

Edit: I will be editing this a ton for anything new I find :)

- Sickness increases the more actions you do which would be running, repairing, healing, ect

-The way you get sickness from the killer is based on how long they hit you. So if she lands an entire load on you it will make your sickness be more severe than if you just got nicked by it. Sickness also stays on the ground and walls for a short time after she vomits.

-survivors have to use a "clean" fountain to cure themselfs which turns it into a corrupt fountain. The fountain will become clean once the killer interacts with it.

-once the killer uses a corrupt fountain her power turns into vial of corruption which damages survivors but it only lasts for a limited time like Myers evil within tier 3 and she can down you with it.

-The killer can see the corruted fountains around the map.

-when a survivor is fully sick they become injured, broken, and vomit a lot which gives away their position. You do not get downed from going into fully sick while injured.

-while a survivor is infected they can infect other survivors

-she has an ultra rare add-on dealing with explosive diarrhea or something. "What about explosive diarreah" - Dave responds with "U R add-on ;)"

Made this Because a lot of people don't know the full details on her power so this post can get you people out of the dark.

  • Thank you for this!

  • @PreGum no problem the last dev stream didn't give good info on her power so I look into Twitter and they posted some extra things that should have been said on stream.

  • Just for clarification: If someone is already injured (or Broken) when they hit peak sickness, will they take damage and go into the Dying state, or will they remain in the Injured state and just be broken (or remain unchanged if they're already broken)?

  • Eh... ptb would be the place to see the full effect... I would have been okay with waiting

Based of what dave said on Twitter "it damages you to injured" I believe becoming fully sick while injured does not down you.

So if i understand you have to collect blood from the fountains as a killer to make your vomit lethal so im geussing if you hit or miss a survivor your lethal charge is up and have to make a surv sick again and repeat the process that seems like a time wasting ability for the killer

No the devs said it was a timed thing so its more than likely that you can use it two or three times before your vial of corruption is depleted. This makes her power a time waster as well as something you can use to reliably down people with since you have 115% speed and survivors may become broken.

It's also possible that your supercharged vomit is more of a time-based thing like Myers's insta-downs rather than a one-time-use. Can't wait for the PTB to clear stuff up.

Its because you're not thinking of how to properly utilize it. Down survivor near shack , hook them in basement, then collect blood from fountain, then head back and spit on the rescuer .

I gave you exact quotes :)

  • It's just the idea of explosive diarrhea in a survival horror game is so silly.

  • In response to the point about not being able to see fountains as Killer, didnt they say during the stream the Killer could see corrupted ones? Or was the add on part for pure fountains?

That is a reasonable assumption to make, and indeed correct based on the edited OP.

I already changed the post about it when I got a response from dave. However he only replied yes so I'm not sure if you can see the pure ones

Wait until you get explosive diarrhea, then you'll know what true horror is.

  • If she has an addon to make your ######### everywhere then she is going to be my main

  • reading this makes me so excited for the chapter!

Lmao I love how that sounds. "Go spit on the rescuer".

That's how I feel. I hate you toxic p3 Claudette, I spit on you. I'll be content to just vomit all over the toxic Nea's all game long.

If it's not a joke I'm guessing the add-on lets her fire out behind her as well as in front. Maybe multi-directional.

  • Thanks for summarising. Pretty sure Dave was trolling with diarrhoea comment lol.

  • I wonder if the sickness stays after the survivor is hooked. Will it disappear after unhooking, or will the survivor stay infected? Will the rescuer get sick after rescuing infected survivor? Will infected survivors infect gens/vaults etc? Is vomiting on objects (like totems/gens) infecting them permamently, while vomiting on walls/paths will infect them for a limited time?

I thinl if you vomit for gen pallets walls etc vomit stay on suface few seconds.

I know but the add-on will probably be named something like that or have it in its description. It would be funny tho if that add-on literally gives them diarrhea, combine it with the "######### your pants" perk for extra fun.

  • Is the explosive diarrhea a joke? Because if not, I would love to see how that works out!

Edit: I figured it out! When someone stuns you and escapes your grasp, the surprise stun releases your bowls on the newly free survivor, giving them max sickness (or killing them on the spot idk (back to the data mines))
