I have no clue why they wait until twitch streamers show it all day making sure everyone possible knows about it, they did this during Asylum Exploits too. All day yesterday streamers were showing the exploit leading to more and more people in matches doing it........ THEN its kill switched LOL

The decision to killswitch something is not an easy one to make as we naturally do not want to remove content from our game.
Attempts were made, by lowering map weighting and removing the offering from play etc. But we ultimately decided that this was still too much of an exploitable situation and removed the map from rotation temporarily.

I can understand that, however, if the decision to disable the offerings was made, it makes sense to disable map entirely if there is a problem.
The map had a known exploit, no one would be mad if it was disabled until fixed.
There were spots in which survivors were invincible / unreachable for the killer eg the top of the stairs would lead to third level. There should be a big report here on the forums as well

There are other things we can do such as lower the weighting of the map etc and the hope to avoid exploit situations by removing the offering so teams can't request to go there.

This is understandable, however, I think if a map has a game-breaking issue like this, players would rather have the map removed from rotation. Losing content sucks, but with the game having as many different maps and realms as it does, temporarily losing 1 map is not really a big deal if it means nobody has to deal with a serious bug such as this one.
Disabling the offering and/or lowering the map's weight so it doesn't appear as often will lower how often a map-specific bug can be taken advantage of, and will prevent teams from intentionally selecting the map with the plan to use an exploit ahead of time, but it does nothing to prevent it if the map gets selected anyway.
That said, I appreciate that this issue was taken seriously and that the map was ultimately removed from rotation for the time being.

I appreciate the feedback, you definitely make good points.
they disabled it, why the hell are you still complaining about? "Oooh, you took too long to disable it, you're bad"
omg stop already, move on!
My post was specifically about twitch streamers who show the exploit everytime this happens,... as soon as this was announced they put the offering on each killer/surv they could. As long as they did not log out they could still get the map, and did so showing the exploit over and over.... same as they did back during Asylum Map exploits.
If you intend on trying to troll me, at least understand what I posted about before you make your attempt.

No?
You were talking about "how long they wait to kill switch the map".

Do we know what is the bug ?
Happy days.
Thank god. That's what should've been done from the start.

You can keep up with the Kill Switch Master List here! You can even bookmark it since it remains updated.

Anyone here hoping the killswitch gets bugged and Midwich gets disabled forever?

I just hope the map will not go away for months, as was the case for Raccoon City or Grave of Glenvale.
Ah well, that's a shame.

It definitely shouldn't be this long, we're working on getting the map back in rotation as quickly as possible.
finally

You lack the comprehension to digest this thread obviously.
if you said anything different than "you took too long to kill switch the map" then you're right, I guess
But you did, didn't you?
Kind of sad because Midwich is one of my favorite maps. But I can understand why, that exploit was literally game breaking.
Midwich beat indoor map ;(
Could that link be added to this post since I'd consider it a "useful link"
