I've been playing spirit way more, and now that I feel less guilty playing her I am having a blast.
Yo can I join your Fortnite clan?
It's weird how nobody seems to play her anymore, she was super popular pre-stridor nerf. Did many people really just play her for the fact she had no real counterplay and had stuff like Stridor?
I'm so happy to hear that!
I don't play Fortnite.
Whats the FET?
Probably. I've always played her because I'm passionate for her and still am. Always will be.
Fet is me and my friends organization. It's a lifestyle.
I'll give her another shot myself when I play killer too since I can play her without feeling bad about it.
Given how she's much more balanced for the most part
Ahh, I don’t know why but whenever I see any “Tag” in front of someone’s name I assume it’s a fortnite clan
Honestly, I'm still upset about the stridor nerf because according to the devs their own dev build is far ahead of the live, or even PTB versions. So the devs would have known the spirit changes were coming, but gutted Stridor anyway so now its completely worthless. If I don't get 4x iron will at high MMR I'm completely shocked.
I also felt bad for playing her but I still play her a lot with weaker builds.
She had counterplay, but now she... Well, yeah. She definitely has even more of it. That is for damned sure. In my experience, characters are not top picks to never seen just because they gain a bit of counterplay. Especially when they are partial dressed female characters. Doesn't happen. It happens when characters are gutted, however.
Wait a minute, 53000! Did they remove the earnings cap?!
It's just for the event.
That's a contentious point of discussion if you ask me, I don't think she was gutted since how her power works is still exactly the same
Survivors just know which direction you're moving now, which also helps with that standing still "mindgame". She also gained some really strong addons in the process too.
I'd call gutting what they did to deathslinger since he got nothing in return for his nerfs and he's probably gonna stay like this for a while which is quite sad.
Damn it
I am not sure what you would call it and no offense intended, I do not really care. A top 3 killer flipping to bottom 3 is not because of some slight adjustment. I have literally never seen it before. It could be that she was overrated from the start, I would buy that. In the end, my only point is people do not drop characters for slight changes, they navigate away from power picks when they can no longer get results.
You rarely hear even the sheep consider her in the same category as Nurse and Blight anymore. It is THAT bad.
I played her last night, got two four k’s in a row and went up a Grade. 🙂
Yes, event BP are nice.
I had a spirit today - first since a long time.
I feel bad for you that you haven't gone against one in a while.
Until you realize that the person in that screenshot playing spirit doesn’t touch spirit (judging from their build) and that good spirit players still abuse mother daughter ring and activation charge time addons along with a comp build. You still have to guess when she’s coming out of phasing. Still a very boring unfun, unhealthy killer to go against imo…
The Ice one - on Eyrie. She wanted to let boil over bled out on top but it didn´t work.
She moried her later but we 3 escaped.
Oh and i am fine - i don´t like her as much - sorry :-)
No good Spirit player "abuse" MDR. Only people that rely on it too much use it that way. Also, are we really complaining about activation charge speed add ons? They're good but come on, abusing them, really?
Sounds like you're one of those guys that was so happy after the Spirit nerf was announced and felt disappointed when you figured out she wasn't completely nerfed to the ground. You have counterplay, it just isn't mindless easy counterplay that consists predropping pallet after pallet against a Clown, so quit thinking the game revolves around you and learn how to play against her. Sorry I have to break it to you, but it's just true.
Spirit Drools Oni Rules
I think so. I never ran into a Spirit that didn't have Stridor (not even joking). She had little to no counterplay, and everyone knew this. That's why she was so popular.
No <3
YES😤
Spirit is not an L -_-
Also, I ######### LOVE THAT SONG!!!!!
She got killed by a boomer. She is def an L
She had no defenses and she didn’t want to hurt her dad. If it was a prepared duel, Rin would’ve won easily.
Virgin Rin vs. Chad Kazan
Rin is winning that. Doesn’t need armor.
LOST TO STUDENT DEBT OMEAGALUL
Oni's thiccness would stave off any of her attacks
You nailed it man. Pre-fixed (i say fixed instead of nerf due to how much bs she was before) Spirit was literally braindead easy mode - just stand still bruh and easy 4ks. Not to say that she's weak now, due to the fact that the remaining spirit players often run the strongest addons.
I don’t run those add ons and still win a lot.
Do you take any dbd friend requests
Sometimes.
I like the build. I mean it doesn't really synergise at all but it's interesting enough
When a killer gets even mild nerfs I barely see them again for the next few months, including spirit's first round of them.
No.
Yes
Ok how about this then why should I go and reset myself just cause the game sucks at Balancing killers?
