Cakes wont be fixed

Sorry to be so negative, but its been over 3 days, just face it, it wont be fixed during the event unfortunately. we've lost out on milions of BP and the fact that the cakes doesnt work at the moment makes saving them up a struggle. wish they compansated with a bloodhunt or something but might not be possible to even activate it. GGs see you guys in the fog.

*Qaulity Assurance* y’all should be happy that the game isn’t like black ops 4 when it launched.

also we don’t know if they laid off quality assurance people. For all we know there could be 1 poor sole who’s doing a pretty good job so far

Q&A imo begins and ends with the devs.

  • I have made 4 or 5 posts about the cakes, and now I see an ingame announcement, that the event will be prolonged.

THANK YOU!! That was the information I wanted, then take as long as you need to fix the problem.

Next time, please be upfront and tell what the solution is, instead of all these speculations, as this incedent unfortunately have triggered more people than One-Shot hatchets with eboni Mori.

Looking forward to be able to grind cakes and bloodpoints!!!

Again, Thank you for the information!!!

It's a start - but they should be extending it a day for every day the event is bugged.

Also calling it now - a slap-in-the-face 50k BP as the "one-time-reward". I get 2x that much in one game. Without offerings.

Can you kindly point out where it was stated Tuesday? Upon inspection - they said "late next week".

You are correct. Seems like I have only read Tuesday.

Would you rather they'd delayed the event? Kind of silly to have an anniversary event that happens after the anniversary.

Considering that the anniversary is on June 14th and the anniversary started on June 23rd I'd say we already have an anniversary event after the anniversary.

  • @Almo the offering shouldn't be bugged at first place. Don't you guys test things? Also, how hard it is to REUSE the last year anniversary code? You guys should stop giving excuses and start coding things better, tbh...

The devs did not communicate effectively with their community. That we are receiving notification three days later is egregious and unprofessional on their part. And this is a public forum, where I will speak my mind as I see fit whether you feel my nuggers are chill or not. ;)

Actually they DID communicate. do you expect them to come out every day or MORE saying "we're working on this we are in position A, B, C"??? no they wouldn't do it, it wastes your time. they acknowledged the issue (communication 1), they acknowledged that they have found it and working the issue (communication 2) (1 and 2 may be in the same post) and We have a plan to fix this (communication 3), Plan has been rolled out and it is fixed at this time (communication 4)..... I'd say they've been communicating quite well.... oh wait, we have position A, B and C already! D is when it rolls out! sounds like they did communicate.

Give the Devs a break guys. No game is perfect and especially with Covid happening and them having to work from home, it’s hard to develop a game. It also costs a large sum of money to send a patch through and all consoles have different time periods to have patches sent through. Sure it’s a big mess up with coding but give them a break don’t bully them. Just save your cakes and have fun with the game (even if it is a buggy mess rn)

When you give excuses and hand waive every problem saying it's not that bad you eventually wind up with Nurse and her myriad of common bugs. They talk about Quality Assurance but if they have a QA team they should've been able to catch the cakes not working in the first place as that's a very very simple bug to test for and reproduce. Trust me, I've worked on QA before.

The devs clearly listen to the bare minimum from their QA team, meaning "Does the game launch?" is all they care about.

An update every day until they fixed a problem would not have been much to ask. I don't expect hourly updates. But they use to add updates to the top of this forum. They communicated ineffectively. Period.

  • Of course they will be fixed, its just gonna take some time

actually every day lessens the impact of the reports and makes people feel they are just repeating themselves just to keep things quiet. TOO much news is not good, too little is not good, and everyday is pointless and wastes time since everyone would have seen it already. especially if it's in the issues forums. but still they responded and got a fix working and now have a fix going in. this is what we need to hear, not the same thing day in and day out.

It's not a free event. You have to buy the game. Nothing is free; and it IS broken. The bloodpoint offerings are the MAIN reason people nolife the event this hard; and they are broken.

    White knight less.

You bought the game and what was currently in it no right to any events they do this out of the kindness of their hearts for the love of their community stop being a dictator
