Collapse after 20-30 minutes of the game.
There are some players who abuse the fact that the game has unlimited time on the map. They select some dark map (the "Dead Saloon" map is in fashion now, because there are a lot of bushes there), take Claudette and begin to hide and not start the generators. Just returned from Twitch, there the streamer with his team did nothing for more than 30 minutes, hiding from the killer. No one started the generators. They have a condition: hide from the killer until he leaves the game or AFK.
I believe that collapse should be added after 20-30 minutes of such a "passive" game. Or their auras should be revealed to the killer.
Send reports? I do not think this is a way out of the situation. After you threw a report, you do not know whether such a player / players were punished or not.

Why though? That would most likly hand the game to the killer for not finding surivors.
Sure, such an action is just scummy, but i would like it better if the killer could just open the exit gate anytime he wants, not just when all gens are done.
Yes, its a statement of defeat, but it would also prevent the killer from being struck in a game he doesnt want to, because he cant hooksuicide or just bleed out.
It is a bannable offense, its holding the game hostage so time to report that streamer and use their own stream footage against them I guess.
no it isn't. survivors abused the fact that not doing anything is not taking the game in hostage back when hatch spawned after 2 gens done, many threads have been opened, trying to add particular afk crows for these kinds of situations, but were always ignored, since it isn't bannable.
onto the topic, yeah it sucks, always funny when you see the average dbd YouTuber do it, but when you face those teams...
They did it on purpose. They prepared in advance for such a game in order to force the killer to leave the game or AFK. They did not even save the teammate from the hook, because he was a random player.
This is the same thing when the killer blocked the survivors in the basement and did not let them go, when the collapse was not yet and the cellars were not expanded. It must be punishable.
This is why DBD will never be a true hide and seek game as some would like. Imagine if this would become the norm.
It shows stealth can be viable in the game but it’s not fun for the killer to not find anyone. The fun is in the interaction between players which the devs try to promote.
The issue with it being banable is technically it could be classed as not doing the objective but since stealth is an option in the game what about players who like to play that way? Then we have to think should stealth players be punished with mechanics due to some doing this on purpose?
A killer can also prolong the game by constantly downing and slugging over and over while allowing them all to be picked up again and again and never hooking anyone.
it is though and even if not, just send in the footage, let the devs decide, but im 99% sure this is a bannable offense, either way not for us to decide.
Should be a thing since day 1.
If survivors decide to hide and not finish gens the game should come to an end by itself without the killer actions.
Same as a killer who blocks the last survivor in a corner.
I've always liked the idea of an overall timer for the match, that gets replaced by the EGC timer once EGC activates.
Should be 20 mins.
A 20 minute timer would definitely be nice. Maybe the ground becomes more red and objects in the world start to look more corrupted and worn as the match progresses? 20 mins is definitely reasonable because no normal match actually lasts that long. Rare matches like this are why I absolutely despise blendettes and immersed survivors. If you want this experience play Amnesia or Outlast, where hiding is encouraged.
Imagine implementing this and then getting impossible skill-check Doc on Gideon.
...immersion is a key element of survival. LOL
Although I agree that in this particular instance, purposely forgoing your objectives to hide and elongate the game is a dick move.
